What others are saying

Wonderful!

This is a wonderful condo. I wish I lived here! You cannot get more ocean-front without being in the ocean. Our evenings were spent watching the sunset, looking at the stars and listening to the waves. We never ate out at night, we either cooked or got take-out as we couldn't imagine having a better view. There is a wet bar on the lanai, too, so that was nice! The floor plan is perfect. Spacious, with an open kitchen that was beautiful and has everything you could ever need. Large tile runs throughout the condo and keeps it nice and cool. The furnishings were very nice as well. The master bedroom is large with a very nice bathroom (awesome shower with 2 showerheads). The 2nd bedroom good-sized too. (There is also a pull-out bed in living room) It is a very quiet area, so with the windows open, you could hear the waves at night. Couple that with a very comfortable bed made for some of the best sleep we have ever had. We opted not to use the a/c, and with the windows and lanai open, there was a wonderful breeze. At night, it was cool and very comfortable. During the day, it was warm, but not bad at all. None of us minded, we weren't in Hawaii to be in a/c the whole time. The furnishings were very nice. There is a kid-friendly pool and adults-only pool on the property. As we only went to the kid-friendly one, I can tell you it was very nice and never crowded. The grounds were very well maintained. There is a grill very close to the condo as well. It really was perfect and it felt like you were coming home when you came back to the condo. The next time we come to the big island, we will stay here.

Waianae Bad Boyz stay at Kanaloa at Kona

The stay at Kanaloa at Kona was remarkable. Suite 604 was very spacious and really really affortable. We were surprise when we walked into the room.It was nothing of what I expected the room to be, it is a very very beautiful room. The area in which this unit is located is perfect. The service we recieved couldn't be better. My family and I enjoyed being on the property more than being at their baseball tournament we flew up there for. In fact my children refused to leave on the day of check out. So I promised to take them back to stay in the same unit very soon. The shopping mall is convenient its located right across the street. If you're looking for a family oriented place to stay this is the place to be. I recommend everyone and anyone to stay at this condo. I Wouldn't change this stay for anything. Great Ocean view

To quote my wife when she first stepped in : "Oh my God!". This is a little piece of paradise. The only thing missing is AC for the warmer days of the year. We did not need it because it. The wind was ennough to cool us down, but, we could imagine what it would have been a month latter (i.e. June and Jully). We wanted to add our positives comments in the guest book with all the others, but, our flight was moved a lot earlier and we had to rush to get to the airport. A big THANK YOU to Jim and Panit Lisy (owners). Pascal and Aphrodite

Loved it

I am a bit hesitant to write a review, for fear that the next time we want to stay here it will be booked. But to be true to the "aloha spirit", we have to say that this was one of our favorite places we have ever stayed. The condo is fully equipped with everything you might need (including some great books on local activities). It is also in a very quiet location, overlooking the ocean and a little bay where you can watch the surfers every morning while you drink your coffee. Hopefully we get back here some day.

Wonderful condo!

We have stayed in this complex before and this condo is by far the best we have seen. Large, beautifully equipped, unbeatable view. We couldn't ask for anything more.
