Only a trip for groceries is needed because everything you could possibly need is in the kitchen. There's lots of Dvd's and Cd's for quiet evenings. We enjoyed many sunsets from the lanai. There is some traffic noise from Alii Drive but it is not a problem for sleeping at night. We would highly recommend this property if you're looking for some pampering along with practicality! ”

Master bedroom is very large and 2nd bedroom nice but a little dull in comparison, however it has ensuite. Community pool is great, laundry in unit is a plus. Gorgeous Kitchen, granite countertops and fully equipped- even plastic wrap & foil! Would definitely stay here again. ”

“ We were really pleased with the size, quality and location of this condo. As soon as we walked in the door we knew we were in someplace special. To top it off, this was the least expensive condo we had stayed in on any of the 4 Islands we have visited, and was by far the most completely equipped and comfortable unit we'd ever seen. This was the first time we had travelled with another couple, and there was plenty of room and amenities for all of us. The location was quiet and convenient to shopping, beaches and access to all the things we wanted to see. The facilities in the complex were clean and well looked after. We really couldn't ask for more, and we look forward to going back sometime soon. ”

“ This is what I told a friend about this property: The place is even better than the website pictures show it to be. The condo is only a few years old and the furniture is extremely nice. The owner was very helpful and communicative over the phone and email and the whole thing went very smooth. No hidden charges afterwards either. The view was spectacular, the beach on the other side of the street, and shopping was walking distance. I liked it better because it was not too close to the city center were louder people stayed, but not too far that you felt isolated. Couple of blocks away from the best upper class resorts on the big island. The grass was golfing quality, and the gated community was excellently kept. Flat panel cable TV in every room, attached garage (we parked our car in the garage which was very helpful with the boys, although now the website says for storing personal stuff only, may want to ask about that, although outside parking is right in front of the condo anyway) , I can go on and on. The website has other communities on the big island and some properties on Maui and elsewhere. I have not tried those, but if they are anything like this community, then you can't go wrong. Surprisingly, the prices were among the cheapest. The deal that we got, which was $125 a night, with 7th night free, beat anything out there, including the single hotel rooms they had available in cheap resorts. We didn't even use the second bedroom, although I let the boys ransack it just for fun :) ”

The condo was furnished perfectly - my husband loved the spice rack in the gourmet kitchen so much that he found the same one online to purchase. The location was convenient, and we got a great tradewind blowing through by opening up all the windows upstairs and down. We did not have to use the a/c at all. We visited the pool every day and it had a wading pool for our toddler. We ate breakfast every morning on the lanai and the full-time residents were so friendly. I would recommend it highly - we have tried other properties, on the ocean, and they were noisy due to motorists on Ali'i Drive, and the parking is tight. We will be going back to this condo definitely. It was serene and relaxing. ”

“ Over all experience was fantastic, gated complex quite and relaxing. The pool and common area are great. The condo unit was beautiful and everything you could want is there right down to the Martini shaker. We have stayed on the Big Island over 30 times and this is by far one of the best locations and complex around.The only down fall of this unit B2 is that there was no BBQ on the actual Lani the run down to the common area BBQ is just a bit of a hassle if your BBQ-ING all the time. The place itself was very comfortable for the six of us. Plenty of fans to move air around, and we found that at night colder air would come down the mountain and help us sleep without A/C. All of the furnishings were comfortable. The high-speed Internet connection is faster than mine at home. There is enough beach toys and boogie-boards for everyone -- although I suggest investing in your own snorkel gear. ”

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay with 3 generations sharing the unit (5 people). I can't imagine staying in a hotel ever again! I really want to know what brand the master mattress is because we had the best sleeps. Rick was very courteous and professional. It was really nice to have the recommended reading about the Big Island in advance to help plan our stay. The townhouse complex is quiet and close to Kona with a safe, family feeling. The fitness room and pool area is well maintained and nice to use. You are a quick walk to groceries and basic shopping as well as the shuttle that will run you right into Kona. It's still a good idea to rent a car to explore the island properly. Aside from revisiting the beach we were married on 10 years ago, snorkeling, showing the kids Volcano National Park, seeing dolphins and a variety of fish, our top thing was barbequing on the lanai while sipping Mai Tais and watching the sunset. Our children enjoyed the small lawn behind the unit. They had a chance to run a bit as well as look for geckos and wild cats. Our experience at this townhouse was fabulous. We have nothing even slightly negative to share with you about this property. Mahalo Rick! We truly hope to be back soon. ”

The condo itself was beautiful, so wonderfully appointed and the owners thought of everything - from recommendations for dinner/activities, to the great beach towels, chairs and cooler! The advance info they provided was so helpful and they even checked on us when it looked like the hurricane was heading our way! THe location was ideal, close to the shopping but away from hustle and bustle! We loved Ali drive, especially Magic Sands beach (GREAT boogie boarding!). When we arrived everyone was excited and pleased with the condo. It was a distance to the beach, but the ocean was quite visible and the sunsets were awesome. The location was great as it seemed to be centrally located to our various activities. It was nice having beach mats and chairs avaiable to use as well. “ My husband and I stayed in this wonderful townhouse with our two children. It was even better than the pictures. Everything was immaculate when we arrived. Not only is it beautiful, it is very comfortable. The bedding and linen is nicer than most 5 star hotels. My husband and I enjoyed watching the sunset over the ocean from the balcony off our bedroom. While we were on the Big Island, they were expecting a direct hit from a hurricane. Parks, attractions and stores were closed for two days. While the hurricane never hit land, there were some severe storms. We enjoyed watching movies curled up on the cozy sofa and played games provided in the townhouse. Staying here salvaged our vacation. The owner called before and after the storm to check on us. We have traded our timeshare for condo's in Hawaii before, but this is far better than any timeshare rental. The feel is not that of a rental but an upscale house. The unit is a short walk from the pool and close to shops, dining and snorkeling trips. For as much money as a hotel room, you can stay in a luxurious home. ”

This town home is exquisitely decorated with very high end tropical furnishings by people who pay attention to details and it shows. The panoramic views of the ocean and the sunsets from every room and the lanais are spectacular and we found ourselves eating almost every meal there. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen and BBQ was also great. We enjoyed and appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards and the ice chest for our trips to the beach and other adventures. This unit was very well appointed with all the amenities of home: fully equipped kitchen, beautiful living and dining rooms, multiple bathrooms, even a washer & dryer. The owners even provide beach towels and toys for the kids! A number of lcoal guides, restaurant menus, and suggestions were provided by the owners, which was a very nice touch. With 4 kids it is important to have enough space for everyone. It was nice to have enough space to let everyone unwind at their own pace and with their own space. The unit had wireless internet access which was great for making reservations, checking on the office, etc. The view is wonderful and the pictures speak for themselves. This is a great location, just far enough from the downtown so as not to be too hectic, but close enough not to feel completely isolated. Grocery store, restaurants, movie theater, shopping, etc. is within a 2 minute drive. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed staying here. ”

This vacation home was beautifully furnished and impeccably maintained. We really enjoyed the open floorplan downstairs. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed -coffeemaker, storage containers and cookware. We really appreciated all of the special touches the owner provides including: ice chests, beach towels and chairs, books, guides, games and DVD's. The outdoor patio furniture was comfortable and we enjoyed the BBQ and being able to relax out there and watch the sunset in the peaceful surroundings. “ We surfed the Internet looking for family style accomodation for about three weeks before making contact and then selecting this condo, sight unseen. We were a bit apprehensive about booking online and only had the pictures which were on the website to go on. Need I say, we were most pleased. From the great lengths the owners went to to ensure you had lots of information on the services they provide in the condo and surrounding areas, to the equipment supplied - need I say, our stay was MAGIC! We were within walking distance from the shopping centre and about 10 minutes from Kona. We loved the space that the condo provided that we were due to stay for 7 nights and extended our stay to 10 days which allowed us more time to spend on this beautiful island. We would definitely recommend Rick and the L4 condo - what you see online is what you get - AND MORE, they come highly recommended!!!!!!!!!! ”

“ As long-time Hawaii visitors I speak from experience when I say this condo is exceptional. It is beautifully decorated, has a well equipped kitchen and a nice grill which makes eating on the deck fantastic. We often bought fish at the market and grilled it while watching the gorgeous sunsets. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely furnished and the master bath is huge. The condo complex is only five years old and is meticulously cared for. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful pool and exercise area which are very near the condo. There is a shopping mall with a nice grocery store within walking distance and a trolley that goes into downtown Kona several times a day. For us, however, one the best things about Na Hale O'Keauhou is that it is only a mile or so from the Kona Country Club which has 27 holes of really fun and scenic golf. ”

“ Stayed December 2008 We picked this town home because it looked like it had the nicest view and furnishings of any we looked at. When we arrived it was even nicer and more pristine than we expected. The pictures are just a sample of what to expect. We enjoyed the panoramic ocean and sunset views while we ate and relaxed on the lanais. The spacious town home was superbly furnished from the tropical designer furniture, exquisite artwork, fully supplied gourmet kitchen to the luxurious linens and towels, etc. We also loved being within walking distance of the beach for swimming and snorkeling and having the shopping center just a short walk up the hill. It was also nice to have beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards and a cooler supplied for beach time. They thought of everything!! The development is also beautifully cared for and the pool/spa/wading pool area was great to relax at. We plan to go back to Na Hale O Keauhou L-4 later this year for a return visit and also have recommended it to friends. ”

“ After looking at numerous properties, we needed to find a place for my husband and I, our single son, and our married son, daughter-in-law and two children. We were looking for a three-bedroom place in Kona near the ocean. This place fit us to a T. There are two bedrooms perfect for two couples, and a third bedroom with two twins - perfect for kids; all excellently decorated making you feel like you're in a 5 star hotel. Having laundry upstairs was so helpful! The downstairs had two seating areas, and although there was a beautiful dining room table, we found ourselves sitting outside on the patio for every meal. The kitchen was well appointed. The refrigerator was clean when we arrived. Having a few beach chairs and boogie boards were great for the kids. Plus, the owner left a book that guides you around the island which we used every single day. Overall, our experience was a ten out of ten. The owner answered all of our questions promptly. I highly recommend this property for anyone wanting the "Hawaii" experience. ”

Each room is beautifully decorated and the kitchen has everything you need to fix meals when you just feel like staying home. All the rooms were tastefully decorated. The area facilites were first rate with a workout area, swimming pool and hot tub. Very close to the ocean, grocery store and only a few miles from the center of town. We could watch the cruise ships come and go from port. Having family members from Australia and Texas meeting us in Hawaii, we wanted a place that was close to their rentals and the places in this gated community were exactly what we were looking for. The owners were wonderful as well, and were diligent with their communication. Even when we needed something as we were at the condo, we were able to contact them, and have a solution quickly. ”

“ We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for four adults. The view of the ocean, palm trees and flowers was lovely. The sunset view is beautiful. We did have a few issues that were taken care of promptly by the on-site personnel. We have been spending part or all of February in Hawaii for the past ten years. This year, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to go back again. We leave on April 15 and are looking forward to going back to the same place! ”

“ We arrived with everything in place for a wonderful family vacation. We felt completely at home, comfortable and fully relaxed - exactly what we were hoping for. the facility was well attended, nicely adorned and well kept. It was close to a mid sized shopping centre for convenience and away from the main city but a beautiful view of the ocean and the mountain at the same time. We asked for a second week and were lucky enough to get it. We would go back again. ”
