Online arrangements were great and everything worked out perfectly. This condo was beautifuly decorated, clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the private location and dining on the spacious lanai overlooking the ocean. Location was convenient to shopping and Kona Town. We swam in all three of the beautiful swimming pools and in the bay in front of our lanai. Lovely place to watch the sunset. The tropical gardens surrounding the unit were perfectly maintained. This is our favourite place to stay in Hawaii and we look forward to many future visits!

Very comfortable condo with overall appropriate amenities provided. Wonderful location overlooking the cove. Only a few issues that keep me from awarding 5 stars. 1. Wireless internet was almost useless, need to upgrade. 2. Lighting levels in living room were too low, need higher wattage lamps for those of us who like to read after dark. 3. Better instruction on location of trash and recycle bins would have been helpful, a posted site map maybe would have been useful, the written instructions were a little vague. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The location is awesome - close to downtown but far enough away that you felt like you were in your own little cove off the ocean. The condo is very spacious, nicely furnished and the owners are very easy to work with. We will definitely return to this condo.

We've been traveling to the Big Island for almost 25 years and think that we have finally found the perfect condo! Unit 3304 at Kanaloa at Kona has it all: location, size, and luxury. This was our first time renting in Keauhou and we found that we preferred it to Kona because the weather seemed to be milder, shopping is much more convenient (the Keauhou Shopping Center is only five minutes away), and it is much quieter (there are less tourists and traffic). This condo has perhaps one of the most beautiful views of all accomodations in Keauhou; it is directly on the ocean but faces a quiet and almost private portion of Keauhou Bay. Although I generally try to avoid cooking while on vacation I found that I actually preferred preparing dinner at the condo so that we might dine at the beautiful table on the lanai; our favorite way to end the evening was to finish our wine while watching the manta ray dive that took place just off the Sheraton Keauhou directly across from the condo. The condo was more luxurious than we imagined: the master suite is huge and the bathroom is serene and spa-like (the double shower is to die for). My daughter loved having her own large bedroom and bath downstairs, and my son and his friend enjoyed having their private space, including a very nice bathroom, in the loft. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating and it was a great place to "crash" at the end of the day. The kitchen is extremely well equipped (and I found a nice sharp knife!); the appliances are all modern and work well. In particular it was wonderful to find the condo well stocked with household supplies like laundry soap, fabric softener and cleaning supplies. The welcome basket and a starter pack of Kona coffee was unexpected but very much appreciated. I particularly was happy to find fluffy towels and nice bed linens. This condo is impeccably decorated and maintained and we will return!

The facilities are wonderful for a family. One quiet pool, another open late into the evening for kids, and a third on the ocean. The kids enjoyed having their own room in the loft with its TV and bathroom while the adults enjoyed having their own rooms and bathrooms downstairs. Each morning and evening was spent on the deck watching and listening to the waves and watching the boats come around the point from the neighboring bay. Everything we needed was there. We hadn't even finished our stay before we were talking about when we were coming back.

Just returned from our 9-night stay in Kanaloa #3304. We've stayed in other units at Kanaloa but this was the best location for viewing activities in the bay and ocean from the large lanai. We also found the loft/3rd bathroom to be useful. It's a bonus that the unit was equipped with beach towels, boogie boards, spices, etc. We love the fact that there are 3 pools also (one is a quiet pool for adults only).

We loved this condo at Kanaloa at Kona. The location is to die for and the decor is beautiful. There wasn't a thing that was missing from a 'fully' operable kitchen to beach towels, boogie boards and they even provide detergent for the washer! We ate 98% of our meals there and everytime we ate on the deck admiring the beautiful view. It was so hard to leave, and we can't wait to go back.

This unit is beautiful, large and met all of our needs. I highly recommend this unit due to it's spectacular wrap around view. Just sit on the lanai and listen and watch the waves. We saw turtles sunbathing on the rocks below our lanai everyday! I also loved the location of the resort with it's proxmity to Kona town and Keauhou Bay! The oceanfront pool offers amazing sunset views. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Three couples comfortably spent one week in this condo and all found it to be just right. It was nice having the three bathrooms for our privacy. The best part was the Lanai which overlooked the cove with so much activity to observe. This unit is in the best location in the complex and it's upgraded interior provided a beautiful, comfortable place for us all to enjoy.

The first ever condo stay for my husband and myself, and now I wonder why we ever stayed in hotel rooms in the past. Unit 3304 is beautifully decorated, fully equipped for every need, and close to restaurants and shopping. The sound of the surf puts you to sleep at night. We took walks in the evening along the golf course against the ocean, drawn by the blow holes there. A great stay at one of the better units in this complex.

Kanaloa #3304 is updated, spacious, with comforable furniture and beds. It is equiped with almost everything you need for your vacation..even ice chests, fins, water socks. We spent most of our time on the lanai--eating, relaxing and watching the waves and a small turtle that was hanging out in the lava pools below the condo. There was plenty of room for our family of 5.

We spent 10 days in January with our parents. The condo is beautiful and the view is perfect. If you want a/c you must ask for it and it costs $15/day extra. The grounds are very nice and the staff very friendly. There are 3 great pools to use. The Bbq's were working well and very convenient. It is close to town without being in the middle of everything. We tend to plan a menu and cook almost all our meals when visiting the islands. We were very disappointed in the pots/pans with horrible peeling teflon. There were 4 cork screws but not one spatula to flip an egg. The knives were almost beyond usable. There is a marginally working 2 hole toaster for a condo that sleeps 6. We had to buy many items we needed to get by cooking there. We were very underwhelmed in the kitchen. It is beautiful to look at it was not very functional. So if you cook, this is not the place for you. We are also rental property owners so we comment based on what we know and do for our guests. Its nice if you plan to eat out. For the price we would not stay here again. And we have been visiting the islands for 15 years.

My husband and I stayed here for one week and we were so happy to have found such a beautiful condo. We slept very comfortably every night and could hear the crashing waves. We enjoyed just sitting outside on the lanai and reading a book or just watching the kayaks and other water activities. One morning we could see dolphins playing nearby. The condo was very nicely decorated and everything looked very clean. There is a washer and dryer, which was great to have. The view is great. There is grocery shopping close by, as well as golf. Went to the country club nearby for a $5 special for breakfast. We ate several meals at the condo because we just enjoyed it so much. After a long day of traveling to Kona, it was so nice to have a goodie basket waiting for us when we got there. We were very happy here.

My husband, mother-in-law, and I stayed at this condo for 5 days. While the condo offered way more space than we needed for the three of us, we splurged for it because of the great reviews and wonderful photos...and it was well worth it! The condo is luxuriously well-furnished, very clean, and offered everything you'd want for a Hawaii getaway. We fell asleep and awoke to the sound of the crashing waves every morning. We ate our meals on the lanai, looking out on the ocean (and we even spotted turtles!). While we didn't end up using the pools, they looked clean and inviting, especially the Ocean Pool. The condo is conveniently located next to a shopping center with a KTa supermarket, Long's drugstore, and a newly-opened Sam Choy restaurant. Plus, it's just a 5-10 minute drive to the eateries and shops in "downtown" Kailua-Kona. It was also very easy to get to: beaches up the coast near Waikoloa (about 30 minute drive), coffee plantations, and we even made the drive out to Volcano along the south side of the island (about 2.5 hours).

Rented unit 3304 at Kanaloa at Kona on Keauhou Bay. Unit is 2 BR with convertible loft den and very well furnished. Best views in the complex. Probably the best condo that I've rented in Hawaii, and I've been coming since 1971 (yes, 1971). Everything that you have at home was available. Plus: books, snorkel gear, spices, washer/dryer in unit, games, 4 TVs, a/c and a view to write home about. The resort has 3 swimming pools, controlled access, is close enough (5 mi.) to Kailua and is very quiet. Centrally located, close to shopping and restaurants. It's hard to imagine a better place to spend your vacation.

Condo #3304 fit our needs perfectly! It was our next stop after 3 busy days at Volcanoes Natl Park. We were able to unwind by the ocean pool and the views from the lanai while eating our meals were incredible! We traveled with 4 children and there was enough room for all of us. The location was great with a shopping center nearby and some great snorkeling beaches just minutes away. There is also a grill located by the parking spot that we cooked dinner on. We definitely recommend Condo #3304! Mahalo!

We loved the condo and it definitely met our expectations. Beautiful grounds, loved the pools(uncrowded), staff that we encountered were all friendly. The patio over-looking the ocean was fabulous. Great blender for making those tropical drinks. We do wish they had some board games for the evening with family and a good stereo would have been nice. Recycling was non-existent though, that was a little disappointing. All in all it was a wonderful vacation and we would definitely stay here again if they began a recycling program.

One of the nicest units at Kanaloa at Kona, our preferred location on the Kona coast -- it is quiet, off the beaten path, and has great views. The unit is well laid out, with a view of the ocean, a small bay, and the mountain-side. Comfortable furnishings throughout, including the loft area, which our daughter enjoyed. The lanai was perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Recent tile and granite upgrades in the kitchen and all bathrooms made for a more luxury feel overall.
