We had an awesome time. If the weather was fair we would just do one of our other activities. It was so easy to book and e-mail the owners regarding any information or questions. Nothing went wrong. Loved staying at a small complex. Even if the complex was full we hardly ever saw the other vacationers. The beach was to die for. Loved it!!! If we decide to visit next year we will be staying here.

Wonderful
the condo is great, the location the best on Napili and all of Maui... the new shower and kitchen are super... the only thing I can mention as needed is a cleaning of the green carpet, it did not look or feel fresh.

Wonderful stay at Napili Bay
We had a wonderful stay at Napili Bay Resort #209. This was our second stay at Napili Bay, and 209 is just a perfect unit in a great little affordable resort. The condo itself is well equipped with just about everything you would need for a comfortable week on the beach. (We only had one issue, as we think the oven isn't working properly, should be looked at or repaired.) This resort has no pool or hot tub, which doesn't bother us as we spend our time on the beach or in the ocean, but if you are looking for a full service resort, this isn't it. We had unbelievable views from a private lanai in this corner unit, and the proximity to the ocean on this beautiful, low key bay is fantastic. I have never stayed anywhere in Hawaii where I was so close to the water. The sound of the surf in the units facing the ocean is amazing. The water in Napili bay is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, as is the water in the very close Kapulua bay. There are great walking trails in Kapalua, and the General Store at Kapalua is a nice inexpensive place to have breakfast or a cup of coffe after an early morning walk in Kapalua. The Sea House Restaurant on Napili is also a good breakfast, lunch or sunset dinner spot with reasonable prices for Hawaii. We watched dozens of whales all week from our lanai. The grocery market in Napili is just minutes away, and a much better alternative for buying food and supplies than the very busy Safeway in very busy Lahaina. There is quite a bit of traffic on this side of the island, especially from Lahaina to Kapalua, but was not a big problem if you avoid driving at rush hour. We would recommend Napili Bay wholeheartedly!

Paradise found ...
From the pre-arrival organization, including directions from the airport, to arriving at the clean, comfortably furnished, ocean-front condo, complete with open air breezes and the sweet welcome gift, staying at this condo was paradise. The location couldn't be better! The view from the balcony is phenomenal ... the beach was perfect ... the quick beach walk to the Gazebo for breakfast or the Sea House for happy hour a huge bonus! Will return in the future!
—Suzan (04/24/2012)
Amazing location!
This was our third trip to Maui and the second of what we hope will be many weeks in #208. The ocean is so close that we could see and hear it from the condo, and it takes less than a minute to get from there into the water. What could be better than that?! The condo is so well equipped that packing is so much easier than previous experiences, and great restaurants, a store, and Snorkel Bob's are within easy walking distance. The only disappointment was having to leave. This is a great place to vacation!

My Fiancee and I recently spent 3 nights in room 216. The location is ideal, the private beach is steps away and the renters in the other units are really friendly. Everything you need is just up the street. There is a market that is open until 11pm, which really came in handy. We had a rental car too so we could cruise the rest of the island. The parking at the condo was free which is a nice perk that not a lot of hotels offer. The beach was one of the best beaches we visited in Maui. The water was calm, which make it perfect for snorkelling. We even saw a sea turtle! Looking forward to another trip to Napili Bay Resort!

We met friends there and they were so jealous of our condo compared to theirs! King sized bed - fantastic! Complete and remodeled condo with full and well equipped kitchen, lanai with many beach accessories (body boards, chairs, coolers), great TV, easy access to a lovely beach. Every time I used the kitchen, I found the things that I needed to be there and handy (except for soap for the dishwasher). There was a lovely breeze flowing through the condo at all times, and plenty of fans to further cool things off if need be, which it didn't. Beach towels were supplied, as were very nice towels for the bathroom. Shower was great - just like we used to have and brought back good memories of our old home :)Thank you for sharing such a lovely home with us - we had a super time and would love to come back again some day!

Could not have chosen a better location to stay for my (1st) Maui vacation this past May. The condo has everything that you would need to make yourself feel comfortable including items to enjoy at the beach (beach chairs, boogie boards, etc.) Even binoculars! The condo was clean, well put together and just as shown in the pictures. No CRT, but a flat screen LCD and a blu-ray player! The room did get a bit warm at times when there wasn't any winds passing through but it never got too uncomfortable (keep the windows open for a nice cool breeze and listen to the some waves). There was some construction nearby going on during my stay but it was a minor distraction and no fault of the condo. The owner and condo caretaker responded promptly to any questions I had. The only real downside I had was that I had to leave! Next time I plan a trip to Maui, this condo will be the first place I look at.

Five years after our first visit, my wife and I returned for our 10th anniversary -- and found Unit No. 216 to be even better than the neighboring unit where we stayed last time. The condo clearly has been well maintained and recently reappointed, and it was well-stocked with everything we needed during our four-day stay. The kitchen, in particular, was a gem. The only downside was unavoidable; due to the slack tradewinds and the usual cross-ventilation, the lack of air-conditioning was especially noticeable this trip. However, everything else was great, and we'll definitely consider another visit.

We stayed at condo 216 at Napili Bay from april 4th to april 7th as part of our honeymoon. From there, we went to Kauai for another few days. We loved our stay at Napili Bay! Everything about it was perfect. I found this condo online, and the entire process was very easy to complete. The owners of the condo stayed in touch with me about what was being charged and when, and they also provided me with all of the info I needed about the condo, facilities, directions from the airport, etc. It was so nice not having to check in at a front desk. The key was waiting for us in a lock box right outside of our door. The condo had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed, a full kitchen, snorkel and boogie board gear, a flat screen t.v., and an outstanding view from our lanai. Evey night, we got to sleep to the waves of the ocean, and every morning, we woke up to the birds singing. The beach is steps away! While we loved Kauai, we were sad to leave condo 216. It was just not enough time there! We're already planning our trip back for next year. I would recommend this condo to anyone!

We loved our stay in Napili Resort #216. A full kitchen well supplied allowed more time at home and chance to sit on the lanai and watch whales while eating our meals. The condo had beach chairs and everything we needed to enjoy the beach only seconds away. It was very quiet and was a wonderful home away from home for the week. Would highly recommend this condo. It was very private, yet could still enjoy the partial view of the water. The tsunami evacuation was our only downside, but in the end everything turned out well. Whales are still sight and enjoyed snorkeling and swimming in the bay.

Napili Bay is one of those unsung locations in Maui. This was my second visit to the area in 20 years and I will not hesitate to return to the area, particularly to the Napili Bay Condos. Room 216 was well appointed, clean and comfortable. After staying at another unit right on the beach, I would have to say 216 was a better location as it was hard to get used to the sound of the pounding surf (small price to pay for staying in paradise!). While still having a nice partial ocean view 216 was less noisy than units right on the beach. I would not hesidated booking again at the Napili Bay Condos!

This place had most everything we needed, and was very comfortable. Appreciated the new towels, bed comfort and the well equipped kitchen and Bar B Q area, plus beach chairs. We missed having a table indoors, as we like to play games in the evening. Also, the key pad is not lit at night, and we forgot to bring a flashlight so it took some doing to enter the code in the dark. We befriended many of the regulars, and this really made our stay more fun. I would like to stay at Napili Bay again and continue to experience and explore Maui.

Loved the Napili Bay Resort. The beach is beautiful and only a short walk across the parking lot. If you need air conditioning, this is not the place for you, but if you like sleeping with the windows open and fans, it's great. Also liked that the condo had flippers, boogie boards, etc., for us to use. I can't rate the service, because we never spoke to anyone once we arrived. I was a little concerned about just having a combination for a lock box to get a key for the door to the condo, however, everything worked fine. A beautiful beach!

A compact studio condo that has everything you need for a stay on Maui. Napili Bay is a great family beach with some snorkeling and convenient restaurants. Nearby beaches had even better snorkeling, and there were hikes a short drive away. We took advantage of the grills and laundry on the property, and the well-equipped kitchen in the condo. Cool breezes made it fine that there was no air conditioning. View of beach just as promised. Chairs on the lanai were a little uncomfortable, but necessary in height for the view. Enjoyed the boogie board, beach chairs and mats so we didn't have to bring any. This is a great location and a reasonably priced place to stay.

I stayed in Room 216 for the first time in 1985. I loved it then and have stayed there 4 or 5 times since. Since my last stay the room was remodeled with very nice floring, a new kitchen (with dishwasher) and a new bathroom. Wi-fi has been added (the required code is included in an email from the room owner) so I had high-speed access to the internet from my phone. Very nice. The bed linens were cotton and very comfortable. I have no complaint whatsoever. And the price is fantastically low. I'll put it this way - I paid more in 1985 than in 2010. And I don't mean in inflated dollars, I mean I paid $85/night in 2010 and $90/night in 1985.

My wife and I stayed in Unit 216 of Napili Bay for 5 nights. This unit was well appointed, clean and perfect for what we needed and wanted. It was certainly not deluxe accommodations, but I dont know of any other place where you can have a condo on the beach for under $100 per night! I think you could not have more than 2 people in these units, they are small. Also, in case you don't know, there is no air conditioning in these units. We really only slept there and did not mind the fans and the ocean breeze, but I think this could be a problem for some people who are more sensitive to the heat. The view of the ocean from this condo is indirect, but not bad, and I actually enjoyed not being on the bay front where it is more noisy and people can look into the window... We return to Napili every year and would not stay any other place in Maui. We love the quiet and would recommend it to anyone who loves a quieter more family-friendly beach vacation. But please don't tell anyone, we want to keep the crowds and high prices in Kaanapali!

We ate breakfast in every day, and had a couple of dinners on the lanai. There was no view from this unit, but we were steps from the beach. Complex was quiet and teh BBQs worked fine. The condo was a cozy little place with everything you could need-- a kitchen stocked with dishes and some spices if you plan to cook, beach towels, snorkels and masks, etc. The location is fantastic. We ate breakfast every day on the lanai, staring out at the gorgeous view. Then we'd go out snorkeling somewhere nearby and come back for lunch, then go back out to the beach or sightseeing. Home again to shower and change, and then we'd head out for a swanky dinner in Lahina or Kaanapali (short drive). The only drawback of this spot (if there is one) is that the complex doesn't have a pool. But it is within walking distance of a little grocery market to stock your fridge with breakfast and lunch foods. Also just down the beach is a pretty swanky resort with great food and drinks. Great spot and great money saver. After staying at one of the big hotels in Kaanapali and here, we'd definitely choose to stay here again.

Well, it is in stunningly gorgeous settting and right on the beach. The condo is small but clean and attractive and well maintained. In general it has a wonderful welcoming and homey feel with (mostly) very friendly people of all sorts staying at the condo complexes. The bed was very comfy. There were a few big cockroaches who would visit for snacks under the couch. Despite lots of fans, we had trouble keeping cool and there is no no way to fully close the windows against the crashing waves and roaring ocean. This disrupted/prevented sleeping. We also had a hard time finding space on the beach and were often bothered by loud people who tended to yell and smoke cigarettes. Blech. Oh well, I guess I need my own private paradise! (haha haha) If you are a gregarious, hard of hearing person who likes to be in a crowd, you will have fun at this condo. We stayed in Wailea during subsequent visits.

We stayed in Napili Bay Condo 216 for the second week of our honeymoon in June 2002 and really loved it. We found this spot online after searching for something that would be chill and not 'resort-y', was inexpensive, was on the beach, and had high speed internet. We loved this place. The beach was just outside the condo. There was a great coffee shop just down the road (Java Jazz & Soup Nutz). Many of the guests before us had written in the guest book -- both about how much they enjoyed their stay and about the sea turtles you could find swimming in a small cove nearby. We also found the turtles (and even managed to get a few surprisingly decent pictures with a disposable underwater camera!). The high speed internet worked perfectly and was very useful in planning our mini-trips around the island. We had a fantastic time staying in this condo and will look into it when we return to Maui. I highly recommend it.

The management of the complex was friendly, helpful and accessible and the overall maintenance of the grounds and building was excellent. Unit 216 is just off of the beach, which ensured quiet and privacy. The ocean is just a few steps away and Napili Bay is a great beach, more low-key than the more "touristy" areas. There are some incredible inlets for snorkling just a few miles down the highway. The website and photos are perfectly representative of the unit and complex. It is an excellent value for the price. If you're looking for a vacation spot that isn't a loud/busy tourist area, with incredible beach access and clean/comfortable units - this is it!

I have stayed on this property several times, in a different unit. The other unit is identical but cheaper, with better furnishings and a lot more aloha (fruit basket, tropical flowers and coffee provided). Unit 216 was well appointed, but did not include a basket of fruit, although previous online reviews stated that one was provided (and that it contained the best pineapple the writers had ever eaten). If the owner/rental company would like to have a fruit basket sent to my home now, I would appreciate it, and revise my review accordingly. Also, there was no dining table and there were no chairs at all inside the unit. Other than that, everything we needed was there. It was clean and pleasant. It could use a music system to play CDs. The only audio was a little clock radio with scratchy sound. The kitchen was well equipped. We bring our own snorkel gear, but more was available in the unit, as well as boogie boards, beach mats and picnic gear. We had a great time on Maui, as we always do. We love Napili Bay and Kapalua.

Bed was very comfortable. Condo unit was quiet. Would like to have had more than 4 towels/wash cloths for an 8 night stay, also another roll of toilet paper would have been nice (3 extra instead of 2). Would set timer on coffee maker night before, just to find it had turned itself off during the night. Over all, the condo was clean and quiet. Thank you for the fruit basket, nice welcome.

It was the most amazingly wonderful vacation we've ever experienced. The lovely condo, furnished with everything we needed, was right on the beach with easy access to the ocean. The lanai was perfect for viewing the ocean as we ate breakfast or lunch. The Sea House restaurant was a quick walk down the beach and served delicious meals. We snorkeled in Napili Bay and then walked around the rocks to another cove where we snorkeled and swam with sea turtles! We can't wait to go back!!

It was perfect for us. Napili Bay Resort is better than the high class resorts. It was the best beach in Northwest Maui. Everyone was coming over to our beach. Our condo was very clean and the price couldn't be beat. We can't wait to go back and we will reserve 203.

We were greeted with a lovely gift basket with chocolates and fresh fruit, which was really appreciated. Just down the street from the Four Seasons hotel, which is a gorgeous walk. We'll definitely return again. I highly recommend it.

Our stay at Napili Bay was like our own little slice of heaven. We were in Maui for business and our company booked us at Hyatt Maui and I decided to add on 4 extra days and found Napili Bay Condo's on Trip Advisor, what a find!!! We far more enjoyed our stay here than at the Hyatt, falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves, waking up to crystal clear tropical water view each morning with the island of Lanai (?)surrounded by what appeared to be Bali hi clouds was nothing less than magical. What a laid back slice of heaven our stay was. We talked endlessly that we wished we spent all 9 days here. Plus I would highly recommend a must do of going to the gazebo restaurant 2 doors down, was recommended by rachel ray as well as the locals, again another WOW... the macadamian nut pancakes with the homemade cocunut syrup was sinfully delicious. Was a lil bit worried that the fire upgrade installation would be a problem but never heard a peep, had no impact at all. Lovely stay telling everyone about it & definitely coming back again!

We love staying at Napili Bay Resort condos and we have stayed there several times in different units but always on the ocean side. At first we couldn't sleep because of the sounds from the ocean. By the end of our stay we noticed that the crashing of the waves actually helped us to drop off each night because of their rythmic beat. Watching the sun rise and set each day from our balcony was poetic and swimming in the bay was a new experience each day. Being able to sit on the beach, sneak up to the condo for drinks or snacks and then go back down within minutes was so fantastic. The units are close enought to Lahaina but far enough away to let you really relax. Napili Bay has to be the best kept secret of Maui and I wish I was there right now!

We spent a week at Napili Bay in September of 2008. After a couple of days of driving to visit other places on the island we realized Napili Bay was the place to spend our time. We really enjoyed the view from our second floor unit's lanai. The sunsets were great. Being right on the beach was a definite plus. The grounds were very nicely maintained but the big feature was the beach. You can't beat that beach. The unit was small but sufficient for two people. The kitchen has been nicely remodeled. Although there is no air conditioning, we had no issues with heat. Noise did not seem to be a problem either. On the slightly negative side, the wicker furniture was not especially comfortable and the bed was average, at best. However, this is a beautiful spot. Everything you need is close at hand. We plan a return visit.

As it turns out we wouldn't stay any other way. Having our own kithen, we packed groceries from around the corner & enjoyed living right on the beach just feet from the water. Great snorkeling & sea turtles right in our bay. Just walk a few feet to our pad for an afternoon nap, and in the evening we barbequed right there. We explored the dining & nightlife in town, but ultimately preferred hanging at our home by the sea. Extremely convenient, and the sunsets at Napili Bay are spectacular.

This place may have been upgraded by now, but when we stayed there, it was old and creaky. The ceiling fan had one speed, slow. The refridgerator is in the room with you and it cycles on and off all night. The room is on the beach with a high pressure sodium street light shining in the room all night. No a/c. Kids congregated under the under the street lamp and drank and partied until 2 in the morning. Local police and the management were not helpful. No utensils of any worth in the kitchen. No BBQ tools by the BBQ, either. Flannel sheets on the bed with temperatures hovering at a chilly 76 degrees for the low. It was 12 sleepless nights of endless noise, heat, humidity and sweat. We contacted the rental place upon our return with some of our concerns and were pretty much blown off! Be careful to note whether there is a non-refundable deposit involved should you wish to reserve time here. Enjoy your stay...

I am not a fan of big chain resort hotels, so when I found Napili Bay Condos after an extensive search of private rentals on Maui, I could breath easily. The view outside of the complex was breathtaking. The cove that the complex is located on is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The resort was small, cozy and quiet. I never even realized there were other guests staying there. My boyfriend and I were able to save a little bit of money by buying groceries at the market and eating/snacking in the condo instead of eating every meal out. The only complaint I have, and it's minor, is that the bed is really hard. Nothing an foam egg crate can't fix though! I highly recommend Napili Bay to anyone traveling to Maui.

Manager response:
Lori, thanks for the heads up on the oven. We checked it with an oven thermometer and the temperature control was not working properly. We replaced the entire oven yesterday along with a new dishwasher. Owner, Chuck

We've been returning to the Napili Bay Resort for 37 years - since 1974! And of all the units we've experienced over time, we like 209 the best. It is on the corner of the building, thus the lanai has an oceanfront view to the north, and a spectacular sunset view to the west. We love to experience early mornings and sunsets and moonlit nights on the deck - after snorkeling in the bay for up to four hours every day. The amenities of the unit are superb and tasteful - though we hope the owner will upgrade the shower/bath someday. And perhaps a high definition TV with a DVR might be a nice touch... (though we don't go to Maui to watch television). We love it here, and we shall return.

The kitchen was well equip for cooking but not there was no place to eat (table to sit at), we ate evening meals out, so only cooked once but did do breakfast and lunch on the porch. My hubby and I are still glowing after a wonderful, relaxing (too short) vacation at Napili Bay Resort. We stayed in #209 and were very content with this corner unit. It was clean and well equipped, and tastefully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed the spectacular view from the balcony...we even saw a few whales breaching off in the channel! It did get quite hot on the balcony from 2-4pm, but the beach is steps away, the ocean is lovely and we could always find a spot of shade under the big tree to sit and read and relax. The snorkeling on the reef in the bay is decent, and we saw green sea turtles swimming right in the bay. A really excellent snorkeling site is aprox. 10 kms up the road in Honolua Bay, and I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys snorkeling...we saw incredible corals, turtles, a Moray Eel, and countless beautiful tropical fish...most excellent! Fruits and veggies are pretty expensive on Maui, but there's a little farmers market/grocery store on the left side of the road heading towards Kanapali that had the best prices. Also we found some good fresh reasonably priced fish and meats in the Napili Marketplace store on Napilihau Street, which is a 2 min. drive away from the condo. They also have a good selection of wine, etc. The entrance to this store is a little hard to spot as it's located inside a small strip mall of sorts, and you probably won't see the entrance door unless you get out of your car and check out the store fronts...it's a little to the right of the middle. Anyways, we managed to put 500 miles on our rental car in a week...drove up to the volcano, and took the road to Hana...went to the souvenir market in Kihei, and just generally had a great time! Hope to be back here one day soon, and would highly reommend Napili Bay Resort...the location is fabulous.

The sunset views were incredible right from the balcony. Picture whales in the distance lit by the setting sun! Really. The cove just outside was filled with turtles and provided some great snorkeling, even for my parents. Though it is a little bit difficult getting in and out of the water for those less fit. A Snorkel Bob's is a 10 minute walk for rental equipment. The proximity to Napili Beach made for a nice easy stroll. There is a local grocery, coffee shop and a Maui Tacos all close by. Lahaina is a 15 minute drive. We are cyclists and rode a round trip heading north from the condo all the way around to near the airport and clockwise to Lahaina. A beautiful ride with good climbs early on. The condo was kept clean, towels exchanged regularly. There were adequate cooking utensils as we prepared most of our meals at the condo. We called ahead and rented baby equipment from a local baby rental business. It was there when we arrived and was picked up after we left...very convenient. Maui is enchanting...Napili Bay Resort made it easy, condo 208 has a beautiful location.

Could we have picked a better location! When planning a trip, much less a wedding, from clear across the continental United States, internet reviews and gut feelings make your decisions. We could never have made a better choice. With all the comforts of home, a backdrop of crystal clear ocean, and memorable sunsets, Napili Bay gave us everything we wanted and more. We stayed in Unit # 209 (Top Floor, Corner) and soaked up every minute. With amazing hospitality and traditional Hawaiian surroundings, we would recommend Napili Bay to everyone. We will never have to worry about where we want to stay on Maui, because we found our paradise!! And don't pass up the Macadamia Pancakes at the Gazebo next door!! Stefan and Paula Brunt

We have stayed at few of Napili's resorts over the years and this was an excellent choice. Great views, easy access to the beach, room was very comfortable, the little village store in the complex is very nice to have, BBQ grills make for some great nights of casual dinners and close to all that Maui has to offer. There is a little surf noise being down on the end of the beach but after all that is why your stay in a beach front condo isn't it. Aloha Condos was a perfect host and one of the easiest vacations I ever set up. Aloha and Mahalo. Kevin and Becky

My wife and I stayed at the Napili Bay condos and I am extremely happy with it. If you are undecided about staying at a condo vs a hotel....GO CONDO! You won't have to deal with gift shops, elevators and all that mess. If you are unsure about which beach, Napili Bay was wonderful for adults and kids, but wasn't overcrowded. About the condo itself: I stayed in a second floor unit facing the beach and at night the waves crashed hard on the rocks there on the edge of the bay and this resort appears to take the brunt of the decibels. I had to wear earplugs to sleep. But I would do it again, and stay in the same room again, and wear earplugs again, because the view and the location of the condo was awesome.

As described on the website, this condo is one of the most popular condos on-site. No doubt why - 2nd story, oceanfront, corner condo with privacy, beautiful views of the beach, Molokai across the way, the turtle activity, and lovely beach, great photo opportunities for the sunsets, not to mention the nearby Gazebo restaurant for lunch and dinner. Besides that, the grounds were immaculate and had all kinds of beautiful flora, and we loved the availability of the gas grills and laundry. We took advantage of grill to do some dinners in, which helped fray the meal expenses. Transportation for island activites, such as the Haleakala sunrise bike trip and the Hana Highway excursion were easily available to us with pick ups at the roadside. All services were nearby, as were additional lovely beaches and blowholes. We would recommend Aloha Condos to everyone and would love to return to condo 209 in the future. I can't say enough wonderful things about Napili Bay - it was truly paradise.
LOVED it.

We absolutely loved our one-week stay at Napili Bay #209. Writing this review makes me want to book a flight back for tomorrow. The condo was clean and bright, and it was perfect for our needs for the week. We loved being able to step out onto the small balcony and enjoy the beautiful view. Chuck, the owner, was great to work with and was very helpful in answering some questions we had as first-time visitors to Hawaii. I would recommend this unit to anyone. The only thing to keep in mind, if anyone in your party is a light sleeper, is that you can't turn off the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. This condo is ON THE BEACH - and it can be loud (and, since it's a public beach, so can the people). Since the windows don't exactly "close," the sound can only be muffled - not completely shut out. It didn't bother me so much, but it did take my husband a couple of nights to get used to it. In NO way do I want to deter anyone from staying here, but if you like to sleep in silence, be prepared - you may want to invest in some earplugs! FYI - my husband was also very concerned that this unit does not have air conditioning, but it was truly not an issue at all. It's very breezy, and hopefully you'll be spending most of your time enjoying the beautiful Hawaii outdoors anyway!

We stayed about 6 nights on the corner unit facing the bay. It was simple but had all that we needed. We fell asleep to the crashing waves on the bay and were greeted once by a school of dolphins. We relax mostly and swam during the day. We snorkeled with turtles just a few feet around the corner. We would stay there again. The best part was we got to use the beach chairs to gaze at the abundance of stars each night. One night we saw a few shooting stars.

The beachfront condo has a great view of the sunset and has easy access to restaurants, snorkeling, and just lazing on the beach. We didn't feel the need to get up and go anywhere else. The sea breeze flows through the condo and keeps things cooled off at that time of year. The wireless internet access was a real bonus.

We love Napili Bay. We found the area through a travel agent and stayed at a local hotel. I recommended the location to a co-worker who found the Napili Bay condo units. We tried them next and are now true repeat fans. We know it, the sea turtles, the sunsets, the view of Molokai, the local coral reefs and even some residents so we feel like it's our little second home when we get to visit. It's not fancy hotel living. It's comfortable, relaxing and friendly for those who are looking to feel more at home and happy to hang out in a studio apartment than be waited on. The bay is beautiful and not too big. Therefore, you never feel crowded in. Condo 209 is perfect for us and the owner is wonderful. He makes certain everything is up to snuff and that you are welcome and appreciated. The grounds manager is always there to help too. The room is tropically decorated and puts you in the island mood quickly. The bed and amenities are very comfortable. There is a television and DVD/VCR if you're so inclined. There are boogie boards and beach chairs to use. We get our food when we arrive, cook in the evenings and have no pressure to leave the bay unless we want to. Breakfast on the lania watching the clouds drift by Molokai and the sea turtles feed on the coral just yards away is fantastic. The condo is on the west corner and you will be treated with incredible sunsets every night. The only thing to note is that the rooms do not have air conditioning - ceiling fans though - so it can get warm inside but who cares when you need only a swimsuit to enjoy Napili Bay. Give it a try if you want to wind down from a hustle bustle life and tune in to a relaxing and rejuvenating place.

The condo itself was very clean and nicely appointed. We found the price to be exceptional when compared to other condos and the views of this one can't be beat! This was our 4th trip to Maui. We've stayed at another condo on the same beach, but it wasn't available. We preferred it. This unit is partially very good, partially not so good. Right on the beach, and yeah, the waves are incredibly loud! Beach activity starts by 7 a.m. The condo BBQ area got noisy on some nights. The lanai now has a view straight through the next condo building to the north because of landscape work done while we were staying there, but there's no privacy on the lanai anyway because of the beach. Excellent linens & mattress, kitchen equipment very mixed. I did some extra cleaning. The furnishings were too dark for me, and I would have liked a dining table rather than just a coffee table.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review and I am disappointed that my beachfront condo didn't meet your needs.
Please keep in mind that the landscaping work only temporarily opens up the view to the condo complex (Napili Sunset) located north and behind the Napili Bay Resort. The banana trees grow back very quickly - in weeks!
Because my condo is a corner top floor condo, it has a view to the north as well as to the west. See the 5th view photo on the Aloha Condos website (http://www.alohacondos.com/assets/photos/unit227/medium/1view5.jpg) to see this view looking directly north (the condo lanai faces west) and you'll see the landscaping and the resort behind.
We have staff available 24x7 every day of the year if you have any problems with missing kitchen equipment or cleaning. I encourage all of my guests to make use of these services, and I provide a phone number in the check-in materials as well as inside of the condo.
Again, thank you for your review.

Pros: Best condo on beautiful Napili cove--nice understated tropical decor with wooden louvered shutters to let in the trade winds. Owners provided a deluxe basket of fruit and chocolate when we arrived. Very well-equipped kitchen with everything provided to bbq on the gas grill and dine on the lanai with a spectacular view of Molakai. Condo is economical on space, yet there was plenty of storage, a king bed with luxury linens, and an L-shaped sofa big enough for both of us to stretch out with our books in the evening, Perfect for anyone who wants to be steps away from the beach--you'll hear the surf in your dreams which we loved. I went swimming twice a day and it was so convenient to practically step out of the ocean and into the condo. Cons: None unless you are super noise sensitive. Walls are thick, but you will hear your neighbors on the lanai and the surf at night. Suggestions: Can't think of anything to make this condo better. Maybe a tea pot to go with the tea kettle? Really, evrerything was lovely.

We stayed in unit 201 for 11 days in late April-early May and simply cannot say enough great things about it. The view is spectacular from the private lanai - a view across to Molokai, perfect sunsets, etc. The beach is right there below, just walk out the door, down the stairs and there you are. The beach where the condo is located is great for swimming and sunning and relaxing. If you like snorkeling better, the cove to the left (across the rocks) and the first beach to the right (go through the resort on the point to the right) are both fantastic. As for the condo itself, it is nicely decorated, the bed is large and comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. There is a decent grocery store in Napili Plaza 5 minutes drive away. My girlfriend and I had the time of our lives - this place is simply magic. The price is very affordable too, not cheap but much less than a Lahaina/Kaanapali hotel/resort and the experience of being in your own condo is MUCH better than what you'd experience in a hotel. I have been to Maui several times, and this was by far the most enjoyable place I have ever stayed. One reviewer said that the waves were loud at night, which is true but you kindof tune it out pretty quickly. Maybe because of all the fun we were having, we had no problem sleeping and found the sounds of the waves very relaxing in no time at all. Anyway, trust me, this place is fantastic.

25 or so years ago, I lived in Maui and had to drop off a car in Napili to what I think was this unit. I remember standing on the lanai thinking that this was the best location in all of Maui. When I decided to return to Maui this spring, I used Google Earth and the web to track down this unit and the owner. I am very glad that I did. The unit is well equipped with everything that one needs for an extended stay- complete full-sized kitchen (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher) and kitchenware (even a rice cooker), boogie boards, beach towels, very comfy beach chairs, sofa, king bed, and a pile of movies. The unit is simple but has everything and it all is in excellent condition. In my opinion, this second- floor corner unit is the best location on Napili Bay. You can sit on the lanai and watch the people on the beach and have dinner while watching the sunset between Molokai and Lanai. I used to own a rental in Hawaii and know the commitment that it takes to keep a unit up to date and this owner has done an excellent job. I found Aloha Condos to be very professional and attentive with a good website with lots of info. This condo is literally on the beach, one could not get this project approved in this location today. I love Napili Bay. There is surf, snorkeling, and good beachfront restaurants on each end of the beach. The area buildings are a reasonable scale and the entire vibe of the area is old-school Maui. The nearby Napili Kai Resort has a Wednesday concert series with the best slack key guitarists in Hawaii. In terms of cautions, the sound of the surf is wonderful and relaxing to me. If you are not comfortable with the noise, this may not be the unit for you. Once again, this unit is literally on the beach. Beach goers make noise and that starts about 8 am. The unit is a studio so there is no bedroom to use as a getaway. Not friendly for disabled visitors. I will definitely return and recommend this unit to friends.

We looked forward to this trip and were excited to find a reasonably priced condo right on the beach. Communication between the condo owner and us was really good and we had no trouble finding or getting into the condo late at night when we arrived. The home was just what we expected having seen photos on the internet. The kitchen was fully equipped and we were especially surprised and pleased to find an ipod dock in the room to charge our ipod and itouch. Some of the issues we had were that the unit was very tidy and 'surface' clean...it really could have used a thorough cleaning as it was somewhat grubby. The king sized bed needs a new mattress as it is very sloped on the side closest to the bathroom and this was hard on my back and made sleeping difficult. So, it wasn't restful sleeping there. The location and Napili Beach is wonderful. There were a couple of times that I would have appreciated someone in the 'office' to get some service...but, there's no office or obvious way to reach a manager for the complex. This was a bit frustrating. The bed alone would prevent me from renting this condo again. We thought we would 'love' the sound of the surf lulling us to sleep, however, the surf was bigger than usual (the locals said) and very loud....crashing and roaring all night which also interrupted and affected our sleep. Otherwise, it was a nice stay. Thank you.
Manager response:
Mahalo for your review on my beachfront condo in Maui. This is the first negative review I've received so I felt it was important that I personally review your concerns.
Your review notes that the condo needed a thorough cleaning so I've made my local contact and cleaning company aware of your disappointment - but first thought I'd check out the condo myself before letting them know.
When I first arrived in Maui there were guests already in my condo, so I asked them if felt the same way as you and they said absolutely not. They were surprised that a previous guest party had not felt the condo was thoroughly cleaned.
After the guests left I did an inspection and again didn't find the condo to be dirty "behind the surface". Of course my cleaners are now on alert and my local contact will continue to check their work after every cleaning.
Your comment on the bed mattress surprised me and I am sorry that you had trouble sleeping. I have installed 10 of these same high quality mattresses in all of my vacation rentals in Hawaii and have never had a negative comment since I put them in 2 years ago. The brand is Bergad and they are high-end Isoform Visoelastic mattresses. I've found them to be better than the Tempur-Pedic mattresses that I used to use because not only are they more comfortable, they are much cooler. I've had at least 20 comments from my guests raving about how they had never slept on a better surface and I love sleeping on them myself.
Based on your comment about sloping, I just replaced the box springs. The old ones were built for a spring-type mattress and the new ones are specifically made for Bergad-type mattresses.
You had mentioned that you needed to reach somebody for service but you never tried to reach my local contact or cleaner during your stay. Their phone numbers are included in the check-in materials as well as inside of the condo and they are available 24 hours a day. It would have been nice to have been able to give them the opportunity to resolve the issue(s) that frustrated you during your stay.
Lastly, this beachfront condo is 35 feet from the ocean. You would land in sand if you jumped off the lanai. The sound, smell, sights and feeling of being by the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific Ocean is why this condo is so popular. If you don't want to have this direct beachfront experience, I own condo 217 and would recommend this lovely beach view condo as a better choice for any future stay with us.
Again, thank you for your comments.
With Aloha,
Jim Dornfeld, Owner, Napili Bay Resort Condo 201

Unit 201 at Napili Bay is a dream. You couldn't be closer to the water and the views are amazing. You can see the islands of Lanai and Molokai from the condo, not to mention the lovely stretch of soft sand and blue water right in front of you. The mattress was the best I've ever slept on, one of those visco-elastic memory foam beds. It's also a king size bed, which for some reason is hard to find in a studio condo out there. We swam with turtles every day. The best way to do that from the condo, by the way, is to walk left at the beach and follow the little footpath over the lava rocks to the small, protected bay on the other side (you'll pass the Gazebo restaurant). There are a couple easy entry spots, you'll see people getting in and out of the water, just follow them. The only "con" I can think of about this place is the constant sound of waves hitting the shore, 24/7, day and night. That's really nothing to complain about, I know, but I'm a light sleeper and we had to keep the windows open (it was August), and the waves really can seem noisy in the middle of the night. But that said, I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Can't wait to go back. P.S. For anyone who cares, I did not see a single bug in the condo.

This end unit (north) provides a more panoramic view of the beach from the lanai. And 2nd floor adds more privacy as neighbor condos cannot see down into your space. Nice beach for kids. Waves were large enough to have fun without looking dangerous. The beach chairs provided came in handy. Shaded outdoor cooking area was a nice addition to the full kitchen inside (with blender, toaster, etc). Onsite manager (Lee) and cleaning staff were pleasant and kept things neat. No problems with pests.

Napili Bay Resort Condo 201 is breathtaking. From the well appointed kitchen, to the amazingly comfortable bed, and of course the patio that looks out into the most beautiful bay in Maui. We hired a masseuse for a massage on the patio-quite an experience! I'd highly recommend it. We toured the entire island and can unequivocally say that Napili Bay is the most beautiful bay on the entire island, and the condo is right on the beach! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful property with us!

My stay in Unit 201 was my third stay at Napili Bay Condo's and I would have to say that although each of the units that I have stayed in were wonderful, Unit 201 was the best because of the upper level, corner location. This unit is beautifully furnished, equipped with everything you will need and nice patio furniture on the lanai to enjoy the breathtaking views. The only con with this unit would be if you had any physical issues that would make it difficult to get your luggage up the stairs. This complex is located on the best beach in Maui, the grounds are immaculate and the feel is relaxed. It is a short driving distance to lots of shopping and dining options, quite a few within walking distance. There may be some noise from the beach (because it is literally right below the lanai!), but being on the second floor helps to buffer it. Do not hesitate to rent this unit. If you are headed to Maui for the beach, the scenery and relaxation, you will not be disappointed!

This condo has incredible views, overlooks a stunning beach, and was well equipped and very clean. The sound of the surf at night was restful. It is a short walk down the beach to the Sea House Restaurant, one of my favorites. It is also a 10 minute drive to Lahaina and Kaanapali, where there is shopping galore. The snorkeling is superb in Napili Bay, and even better a short walk north at Kapalua Bay. The condo is small, but cozy and extremely romantic for 2. I highly recommend this condo, which has the best views in the development.

If you're looking for a perfect swimming and snorkeling beach away from fast food restaurants and all the bustle of Kihei, then Napili Bay is where you want to be. Napili Bay condos are completely self-contained, safe, quiet and right on the best part of the bay. There's even a large tree on the beach for shade. A few great restaurants are within walking distance, if you feel you need a break from cooking. And spending time on the beach is a great way to meet your neighbours. Barbecues out back are super convenient, along with the laundry facilities and parking. I wouldn't stay anywhere else on Maui. It's the perfect oceanfront holiday.

We spent 5 days in this beautiful condo overlooking Napili Bay. The sounds of the surf crashing on the shore as you sleep reminds you how close you are to the beautiful sandy beach at Napili Bay. We enjoyed being able to prepare our own food and eat it on the Lanai and watching the people on the beach. Napili Bay is one of the most relaxing and beautiful places on earth and I can't wait to come back again. I would choose this condo again because of the location on Napili Bay, the great accomodations and decor and because of the wonderful hospitality and personal touches that Jim will have waiting for you when you arrive. We made good use of our gift basket and we found the information that Jim left in the condo for places to eat, and what to see in the area very helpful for our stay. Thanks Jim.

It's on the best bay on Maui - beautiful sunsets, clear water for swimming & snorkelling, resident turtles, and only a few feet from breakfast every morning to the sand. An easy drive to Lahaina and the condo itself is well equipped, very clean, great decor and the sound of the ocean was wonderful to listen to every night. The welcome basket was a great touch! Evenings are very quiet and perfect for romantic moonlit walks along an empty beach. This is a unit that all you have to do is show up with your flip flops and your bathing suit and you're set. As I found and booked this property online I wondered how accurate the descriptions were until we arrived. It was very accurate and there was no surprises other than a nice welcome gift in the room. The property sitting on the beach allowed a number of activities for young and older participants. We watched whales drinking coffee in the morning on the lanai, playing on the beach, snorkeling in the wonderful bay accompanied by the resident turtles and catching as much sun as possible. We enjoyed cooking ourselves when we wanted in a well equipped kitchen although we have visited 2 restaurants easily accessible in neighboring resorts. There is a plaza close by to allow groceries shopping, renting snorkeling equipment, booking activities etc. We appreciated all information provided by the owners where to go, what to do, where to eat out. We did quite a lot of exploring of Maui but would likely be perfectly happy just to stay and rest on "our beach". We liked the unit perfect for 2 people- it was clean, well maintained - we were very comfortable after the first night that surprised us by the sound of ocean's waves and palm's "talking" in the wind. Overall it was one of the best vacation ever. I can wait to go back there.

The beach is great, and snorkeling in the bay easy. I loved the ability to cook in the unit although there are easily accessible 2 restaurants on both sides of the condo unit in the neighboring resorts. There is a number of stores close by to buy groceries, rent the snorkeling equipment, book activities. There was a number of suggestions what to do, where to go provided by the unit owners that was appreciated. The unit was clean, well maintained and equipped. No major complaints, everything was well spelled out and organized. The condo had all the basic necessities, and was clean and comfortable It is a studio so it can start to feel a little confined after a few days but a comfortable lanai with a great view made up for any minor shortcomings. One caveat....it is right on the beach and I was originally concerned about people noise but that was never a problem but at night the sound of the surf seems really loud. We did come to the ocean on purpose after all and I felt relaxed by it but my wife didn't.

My partner and i were lucky enough to spend two nights in condo 208; we left wishing we could have stayed for a month! The place was immaculate, with everything provided to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, right down to a welcome basket of tropical fruit. The location was fantastic, with our lanai looking out over the beach - we watched magical sunsets from the comfort of our deck chairs but, being on the second floor, had some privacy from other beach users. At night we were lulled to sleep (in a wonderful king-size bed) by the sound of waves. We chose to go out rather than cook, but the kitchen was well stocked enough to allow simple cooking. The reservation / confirmation process was easy and efficient, and the instructions (from a guy named Chuck) on accessing the condo were both clear and easy to follow. Furthermore, the Aloha rentals prices were competitive compared to units managed by others. In short, I highly recommend Napili Bay (though part of me would like to keep it a secret!) I researched the internet for days to find a place on the beach, with a balcony looking out at the ocean, where we could listen to the surf at night, and snorkel and swim during the day. The snokeling isn't like the Caribbean, but there were some huge turtles and colorful fish, as well as some coral. We really loved our stay. It was quaint, comfortable, and gave us an escape from the maddening crowd. Napili Bay is magical. I woke one morning, stepped out on the lanai, and saw four rainbows across the bay. The sand was soft and clean. We were comfortable with the breeze that blew through the place, and only needed the ceiling fans to keep us comfortable. You can hear the neighbors a bit on the lanai, but we weren't bothered. I have to say, Kathy, who manages the property, was so amazing and available to be helpful and make our stay comfortable. We had a really great time and would happily go back. The condo is well stocked for cooking. Boogie boards and beach chairs were provided, as well as beach towels. The bathrooms are small but adequate. You really have everything you need. My only negative comment is that I found the colors a little dingy and would like to see a more cheery tone in the decoration. Kathy helped me to get a more colorful spread on the bed, which made a difference. We would recommend this to anyone looking to get close to the ocean (the beach is only steps away) and away from the big hotel tourist experience. It is a short drive to all of that if you want it. We arrived late at night, and it was easy to find our way and get into the condo. It was all set up very nicely. We stayed 9 days and had a great experience.

Napili Bay is such a beautiful beach. We loved sitting out on the lanai watching the turtles and dolphins. We could not have had a beautiful view. The room was comfortable, clean, and well equiped. Little extra's like a cooler and boogie board made us feel like we were staying with friends instead of a hotel. I would go back every year if I could. Making reservations was very simple over the internet, we had no problems with the rental. The only part of our stay we did not like was not having a maid to clean the room while we were out. That would have been a little more romantic.

Room was great. Very clean, all the dishes and appliances you need. Descripitions were right on, just as website descirbed. Views were amazing, great location, amazing beach, not a huge selection of eating places to walk to, but the ones that were close, The Gazebo and the Seahouse were both great eats. Owner was great, had a little trouble with the lock-box getting in (my fault) but he was there to answer my phone call and get me on the right track. Overall probably the best place we stayed on Maui, would reccomend again and hope to be back soon!

All we could have wanted and more! The location is heavenly and our rooms (we occupied 2 rooms while we were there, 207 and 208) were clean, had a full size refrigerator/freezer and reasonably stocked. (coolers, toaster, blender, boogie boards, beach towels and chairs basic spices.) The BBQ is very nice and new. (208 had BBQ equipment but 207 did not.) We loved the balmy breezes and did not mind not having air conditioning at all. The beautiful ocean sounds lulled us to sleep and we were absolutely stunned by the views. The owner of room 208 greeted us with a beautiful fruit basket with a gift beach bag. This was especially nice since we had forgotten to bring one! We met the owner of room 206, (paradisehawaiiancondos.com) and she was personable and even though we were not her customers, she would have gladly helped us if we had needed something. We asked to see her rental unit and if there was anything to say that is a little less glowing it would be that 207 and 208 have not had the bathrooms updated and therefore are not as nice as room 206. We will definitely go again to the Napili Beach Resort but because of the bathrooms we will probably will see if 206 is available first. If not, the others are great too! Oh, for those of you worried about bugs...it's the tropics! Clean up after you eat and keep your garbage in a bag in the freezer like we did. That is all it took for us to keep bugs away.

We stayed a week at Napili Bay condos for our Honeymoon. It was our first time at this condo rental location and we just loved and w9ould definatly go back again for another vacation. The views off of the deck in room 2008 were absolutly georgeous and breath taking. There was one down fall no A/C. But with the ocean breeze and windows that definatly helped. This was an extremely nice condo. It was in good order and very clean. The view from the balcony was priceless! Gorgeous sunset at night. You could see turtles swimming in the bay and we watched whales from the balconey one morning. You are so close to the water you can hear the waves. We would definatly stay here again. The staff was very nice and the beach was clean and not super busy. Very well maintained, beautiful condo:)

Unfortunately the only good things about the condo was it is on the beach and in Hawaii. A very dated, well worn condo. Beds, pillows and bedding not acceptable, uncomfortable and well worn. A much needed reno. Extremely hot with poor air circulations made it uncomfortable day and night. Good news, I understand some other owner's units do have air conditioning and have been nicely refinished. Shop wisely. A few bugs in the kitchen. Overall-pass. There are so many other places to rent. We have now found two other excellent propertys and continue to come to Maui.

Immediately relaxed best describes our vacation experience at Napili Bay Resort. We have been to Maui before so we know exactly what we want to do when we get there, as little as possible. Coffee on the beach in the morning and cocktails on the beach at sunset met most of our vacation needs. Napili Bay Resort fit the bill perfectly. Everything we needed was there. The location is amazing and the facility is wonderful. There is no doubt when we let we were re- energized and ready to go.

Our first trip to Maui, and it was everything we'd dreamed: beautiful, peaceful, relaxing. The accommodations were very comfortable, and we felt very much at home right from the start. We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay, that we made reservations for a return trip in November 2008. Sadly, a health emergency made our trip impossible at that time, but as it was too late to cancel, we gave our reservations to my sister and her husband. They enjoyed their stay every bit as much as we did! We are homesick now for our Napili Bay home, and eagarly looking forward to our next trip!

The Napili Bay is the only place I stay when visiting Maui. I always get an upstairs location. I love the fact that the sand is right below the lanai and the water is 20 yards away. The sunsets are killer every night. The beach is very local, not touristy like some other beaches. I love cooking in the unit and mingling with others at the private bbqs. There are no elevators or room service or stuffy front desks. It is all do it yourself and retro. The snorkling is awesome and you will always see turtles. I have been here at least 6 times and will continue to come. The Napili Bay is one of the best kept secrets on Maui. Mahalo for all the great memories! Scott and Nancy

This was out second stay at napili bay, and nothing has changed in paradise. The condo has it all. Proximity to the beach is unbeatable. The beach is one of the best on the island, and even so is relatively unbusy. Ease of services, from snorkel gear two blocks down the road, to grocery and mini mall nearby, and ease to shops in lahaina. We WILL stay here on out next stay on Maui!!

My first trip to Maui

Maui Visitor from Gig Harbor, Washington on 04/02/2009 said:
The rental itself was fine - clean, great view of the ocean. Disappointment was in two areas that might not bother other people - just me personally. On my 3rd day renters moved in next door who were chain-smokers. The smoke constantly drifted into my condo and lanai and the man had a smoker's cough that was non-stop. I was not able to enjoy the Lanai due to the constant smell of smoke and closing windows/doors in Hawaii makes little sense - I fault myself for not checking beforehand whether it was a "smoke free" condo complex. Perhaps that has changed since I visited. I also was not prepared for the large crowds (and noise) that gathered from morning until late afternoon right beneath my Lanai - I prefer a more secluded atmosphere. Again, this is of no fault to the condo itself - just my personal preference. I wanted to enjoy reading on the Lanai and looking at the ocean but between the smoke and the noise/activity below lanai, this was disappointing to me. I want to reiterate that the condo itself was lovely and well-equipped - just not the "spot" I had hoped for. No fault of owner or condo itself. Thank you for this oppportunity and I would recommend the condo to anyone who doesn't have my personal issues.

If your trying to get away from the big crowds, and overpriced luxury accommodations, this would be the place. During our stay in Hawaii, we stayed at both a luxury hotel and the relaxed, laid back, private beach, of Napili Bay Resort. It was awesome to walk out the front door to the beach. The snorkeling at Napili Bay was much better than the paid excursion I took. I did have a little problem going to sleep with the ocean waves crashing all night. The windows are louvered with no glass, so the noise could not be stopped. A Tylenol PM took care of that.

Having been to Maui several times, I insisted my wife and I stay in a more quiet section of the island, but not too far from Lahaina. We chose Napili Bay and searched for a nice condo with the idea of treating ourselves to an ocean view. I searched for weeks and had a few places bookmarked. I ended up choosing 208 at Napili Bay Resort because it looked perfect. After booking and emailing back and fourth a few times with the owner we were set to stay and had all of our information necessary. Upon arrival, we walked into a nice quiet, modest yet clean and beautiful room. It was very important to me that the room kind of embrace the beauty and aloha spirit of the islands. It most certainly did and after stepping foot onto our Lana'i it exceeded our expectations! Chuck (the owner) had left us a very nice basket of hawaiian goodies with a note congratulating us on our marriage. That thoughtfulness meant a lot to us and made us feel at home right away. The room had wireless internet which was a huge plus. It was a great way to post pictures of our trip as it unfolded to ensue jealousy from our friends and family(hehe). The boogie boards and beach chairs were a plus too! Wey cannot wait to go back to Maui and are looking forward to staying in the same exact room. It was absolutely perfect for our needs and our tastes. Hawaii is not about big hotels, crowded beaches and shopping...it is the most beautiful place on earth. Napili Bay and the Napili Bay Resort both allow you to enjoy the island in comfort and quiet without being too far from the tourist indulgences.

Second story unit on the beautiful Napili Bay beach. Clean and well furnished. Just steps away from your private beach entry and shower. Mornings on the lanai afford views of sea turtles and whales in the channel. Evenings provide unobstructed views of the sunset. Nights are cloaked in the sound of surf on the beach. There is no air conditioning but there also is no glass in the wood-shuttered windows. The sea breezes at night blowing through the condo will cool you enough for sleep in the amazingly comfortable bed. There is a TV that is hard to hear with the sound of the surf echoing in the condo, but who cares? All the entertainment you could want is waiting on the beach sunbathing, in the water snorkeling, or sitting on the lanai mesmerized by the view. Incredibly romantic for two and my idea of paradise.

My husband and I stayed at your lovely condo for the majority of our honeymoon. We spent 6 wonderful nights there and then went to Oahu. And Maui is definately my favorite of the two islands! We loved the convience of the kitchen, frig, and being right on the beach. It was amazing to watch the sunrise and set everyday and just to sit and people watch as well. The ocean waves were calming... We felt very safe there. There were two great places to eat within walking distance--the Gazeebo and the Sea House. We could take a short car ride to Lahaina for other food and stores. It was great!!! We'd love to come again! Thanks again for the fabulous stay.
