“ My husband and I absolutely loved our week spent at Napili Bay, unit 218. The studio condo was extremely clean and inviting, and even though it was on the end of the condo complex, it still had a great view of Napili Beach. We loved how we could step out our front door and be lounging on the beach in under a minute! We especially appreciated all the little considerations, like the beach equiptment, mini-cooler, extra fan, etc. Our least favorite part of the condo was the bed - it was not only extremly hard, but seemed to slope oddly away from the center and made for sore backs and necks the following morning. However, the bed aside, we had an absolutely fantastic experience and we will try to return again soon to this private little get-away! ”

The condo was easy to find, easy to park, and close to all the necessary stores, etc. that made our stay relaxing and confortable. The condo was fully stocked with everything we could ever need: a beach cooler, flashlight, welcome gift basket, dishes and kitchen supplies, etc. It was exactly what we needed and what we expected when we booked the place. We had breakfast on our patio listening to the waves every morning. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxing, beautiful, safe place to vacation. ”

“ The reservation process was efficient and friendly. I enjoyed the independence of having a little apartment instead of staying at a hotel. This condo is nicely located close to a small mall that had pretty much anything you would need for a stay. It was clean and well equipped with access to a gas grill, laundry room and a nicely maintained private beach. There is no air conditioning but the apartment had great crosswind ventilation and a very effective ceiling fan. Perfect size for couples or a lone traveler. ”

We got a great last minute deal, and were very happy with the unit especially since it was on the end but still had an ocean view. The location is ideal with Napili Bay Beach right outside, Kapalua resort area nearby with walking trails, restaurants, spa, etc. The unit had some great amenities such as beach chairs, snorkel gear, towels, etc. Recommendations for the owner would be to fix the very high transition from the tile to hardwood. We stubbed our toes/tripped so many times on that - Ouch! Also, it would be great if there were more comfy pillows and more selection of dishes such as bigger cereal bowls, baking/cookie sheets, utensils, etc. ”

View of the ocean from lanai. Napili Bay is superb for swimming and snorkeling. The Seahouse Restaurant is within walking distance, and is a superb restaurant on the beach with great sunsets. At the other end of the bay is the Gazebo Restaurant (serving breakfast and lunch only) Will definitely return. ”

Room 218 is a 1 minute walk to the picturesque beach with 2 great restaurants located on it: Sea House and the Gazebo. The room had plenty of ammenities including, a cooler, beach chairs and boogie boards to use for free. It was also clean and quiet and even though you are not right on the beach, you can still see a good view of the beach/ocean from the Lanai. Also, there are so many other great beaches, restaurants, snorkeling spots and shopping within 3 - 30 minute drive of Napili Bay Resort. ”

It was also very well-equipped. The rest of the condo was great too, with a comfy bed and couch. We loved having breakfast on our lanai each morning. I found the information provided in the condo about the local area, places to eat etc. very helpful. It was nice to have recommendations from those who know best! The condo was well located with shops within walking distance and so close to the beach. The only criticism I have is that the condo is quite dark during the day without the lights on. On the other hand, it did help to keep the condo cool. Overall a brilliant place to stay, I'll be back again soon! ”

“ It was a very nice place but when we booked the condo it said it had air conditioning. When we arrived it only had a ceiling fan and thatched windows. The area was beautiful but it was definately hot and sticky. Especially since this was our honeymoon! Oh, and they had said we would get a welcome basket, and we didn't :( That was kind of dissappointing but I guess that would've been above and beyond anyway so I can't be mad. It was a great view and nice on the ocean. We didn't think the snorkeling was that great. Everything was pretty mixed up and not much to see. ”

The only minor glitch during the week was that Internet access was sometimes unavailable, but the owner was very cooperative in trying to get the problem solved. The beach is right next to the complex and was never crowded. The snorkeling is good here. Restaurants and stores are conveniently close by in Napili and Kapalua. This area is much less crowded and more low-key than places farther down the coast. We had an excellent, relaxing time and will definitely stay here again whenever we get the chance. ”

We stayed at the condo unit #218 for a week in mid-Novemver 2008. The unit was on the 2nd floor, with a balcony facing the garden with a partial view of the beach. We were pleasantly surprised by the attention given to us by Claudio and Annie Mauad in a form of a fruit gift basket on our arrival. We liked the well equiped kitchen and a general cleanliness of the unit. The grounds around the Napili Bay resort were well kept, and the beach was beatiful for both swimming and watching sunset. We had a great dinner at the Sunset restaurant at the opposite end of the Napili beach. We stayed at Napili Bay Resort Condo #218, second floor at the end. Everything worked perfectly. The kitchen was well equipped, with a good stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and so on. The cleaning service gave us a basket of new cleaning stuff--sponge, detergent, paper towels, and so on. The roll of kitchen trash bags was handy for packing wet clothes too! There were barbeque tools, steak knives, wine glasses and all the stuff I wanted, plus room for my groceries. We stayed at Napili Bay in Unit 218 for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were greeted by a nice gift basket from the owner...very thoughful! The condo was absolutely perfect. We didn't mind that it wasn't right on the beach. It was very quiet, and we woke up to the sound of birds singing every morning. The condo was clean, and very well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Napili Bay has great snorkeling and a very nice beach. It only takes about a minute to walk down to the beach from Unit 218. If you are considering a trip to Maui, don't even hesitate to book a stay here. If we ever go back we will stay here again. We looked at the other condos and resorts in the area while we were there and decided that Napili Bay was the best choice. This unit was clean, smelled clean, is modern, has everything from beach towels to an iron and ironing board, is very comfortable. We recommend it without hesitation. — K.L. September 2008
View from the deck! My wife and I spent our honey moon in unit 218 for 2 beautiful weeks and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The owners of this condo were very straight forward with payments and even had a gift basket awaiting our honeymoon arrival. The entire Napili beachfront area is beautiful with lots of snorkeling and the frequent giant sea turtle. We just returned from our stay at the Napili Bay Resort - Unit 218. The condo was clean and comfortable. All the amenities were included, and we were literally steps from the beautiful beach of Napili Bay. The owners of this condo left great restaurant and activity suggestions, and were extremely easy to deal with. We hope to return someday! My husband & I just returned from a 7 night stay at the Napili Bay resort. We stayed in unit #218. The resort was very nice & right on Napili beach. It made hauling our beach chairs, books, towels, sunscree, and snorkel gear very easy, since we only had a few steps to go!! Unit #218 is very nice and the owners made everything go completely smoothly. The kitchen has been updated and all the furniture in the unit is in great condition. The Napili Bay Resort is a WONDERFUL bang for your buck. It was by far the least expensive beach front condo we reasearched. My only complaint is that we had to leave! My husband and I loved our stay at the Napili Bay Resort No. 218. I was a little concerned about staying in a condo but I liked what TripAdvisor said about the Resort. Previously, we have always stayed at a larger fancy resort hotel in South Maui. As soon as I drove up to the property, I liked it. I wasn't disappointed. I actually think it looks nicer in person than the pictures on line. Our room was on the end -- furthest from the beach but you can see the beach from the lanai. In fact, one morning, we saw a school of dolphins swimming offshore! The room is tranquil, nicely decorated with warm colors. It doesn't have all those mirrors you see in some units that make the room appear larger. There was usually a nice breeze present providing flow-thru ventilation and making air conditioning unnecessary. The kitchen is updated. It was an easy place be in. The lush vegetation outside the balcony helps to make the room feel private but there is still plenty of light. We have been to Maui many times so we didn't need to go many places. But we found getting in the water (right in front of the Resort) in the morning and in late afternoon just made our day. It helped us to relax and not require much more.
