Thanks for an awesome vacation!
We had a wonderful trip to Maui, and this condo became our home away from home. The location was excellent, and we were able to walk to a convenience store, market and several restaurants. The view was incredible, and the mattresses were very comfortable. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was such a wonderful convenience! We will be staying here again the next time we visit!

The best place to stay
This place is absolutely a must. This condo is right next to the ocean, conveniently located to daily grocery and organic (Vegan as well) place. Very quiet, parking was not difficult. Pool was clean and overall, I highly rate it. We had a toddler, and three of us enjoyed staying at this place. We were able to watch those sea turtles all the time (in October). The balcony was just next to the ocean, the best place to have family lunch/dinner. If we ever come to Maui, this would be our place to stay.

Best vacation and location!!
Location location location!! The condo was great! Beds were very comfortable. The beach access was great. It is like having your own personal beach area. We saw sea turtles and swam with them daily. The tropical fish were a few steps into the water!! Our family claims this was the best vacation ever! We plan on returning to stay again! Hopefully sooner rather than later.

“ This is an immaculate, well-apponted condo in the perfect spot. It is very obvious that the owners live part of the year here. It does not feel like a rental unit - it feels like a home. We sat on the lanai and watched the rising sun turn Molokai and Lanai orange and pink each morning, then watched the sunset over the islands each evening. We swam at the beach, waded in the pool, walked to the store, and watched the turtles play. All of Maui was beautiful, but my favorite spot was our "home" at 205. ”

We checked into the condo with the info given to us and were pleasantly surprised when we entered. We were attending a wedding at the Hyatt in Lahaina along with the parents of the groom. They were in Condo 200. We will definitely return for a stay in the future. The Condo is located right on the ocean and shops, restaurants, grocery stores, etc, are located near by. We were able to swim and snorkel with the sea turtles right out our lanai door. We highly recommend a stay in Condo 205. ”

It is a great relaxing place to watch the whales and the turtles galore. It was big enough for a longer stay. In fact my husband wants to rent it out for weeks. I would stay here again. ”

The kitchen had everything we needed. Our first day there, we were invited by neighbors to a pupu party. That level of friendliness continued through out our stay. There weren't many families there, but that did not matter to us or our teenagers. Thank you Tip and Angela for sharing your beautiful condo with us. ”

“ Well loved well equips condo, not high end, but cozy and quaint. Close to the ocean, walking distance to great coffee and some shops. Saw turtles every morning and humpbacks in the distance. Kids had a great time in the pool and the tiny pocket beach. Unit 305 has more privacy than other units so would recommend for that reason. Great sunsets too!! In suite laundry was a bonus but no maid service what you pay for is the cleaning when you leave. ”

“ We stayed at your lovely condo for a week in mid-October and had a wonderful time. The condo itself was very neat and clean. Our kids shared the room with the 2 beds and my husband and I stayed in the ocean front room. The kitchen had everything we needed (except for a pitcher for lemonade but we made do with the blender pitcher) and everything worked well. It was wonderful falling asleep (and waking up) to the sound of the waves hitting the beach every day. We made great use out of the lanai and ate outside most days. Our girls loved swimming in the pool every afternoon and were the only ones swimming on most days. We used the bbq by the pool several times too and it was also very clean. The beach out front was great for building sandcastles and playing. The entire complex was quiet and well taken care of. The condo is located just minutes from some great beaches (arrive early - like before 9 if you want to find parking) and restaurants and the small local market is within walking distance. There is a Snorkel Bob's just up the road too if you want to rent snorkel gear (and a Subway for packing picnic lunches). Turtle watching from the deck was a thrill and we even saw a group of dolphins pass by one afternoon. We will definitely be back again!! ”

“ After returning from our 10 day vacation at Nohonani's unit #305, I went to the website to show it to a friend. I was really surprised to see the negative previous review. Don't believe it. My family of 5 has stayed at unit #305 several times, and since we found it we won't stay anywhere else. The unit is clean, comfortable and well appointed. Linens and towels were all new or near new. The bathrooms have been remodeled. The kitchen is a little small, but more than adequate for a vacation. The owners have gone the extra mile to make you feel at home and provide extras (books, games, information on the area, etc.) I really enjoyed the wide screen TV in the living room and the new HD TV in the master bedroom. And, as many other reviewers already stated, the location could not be better. This condo has a corner balcony/lanai that makes the amazing sunsets and turtle viewing even better than other units at the Nohonani - and unit more private. The pool area has just been completely redone, with a beautiful tile mural of turtles. Lastly, the Nohonani has a sandy beach out front of the pool area. Most condos in the area lack a sandy beach. I could go on and on... For me and my family, we only stay at Nohonani #305 - and we're not surprised that many people return to this same condo year after year. ”

“ The view was really nice but the unit was poorly maintained. It was dirty. Light bulbs were burned out everywhere. Bathroom shower did not even have a soap dish. Towels were old and worn out.Carpet was dirty with stains everywhere. Scattered rugs were a tripping hazard in the hallway.We had difficulty on arrival as the exterior light was out so we had to find something to illuminate the lock box to get in.We were really disappointed. ”

“ Dear Nancy, We were so surprised to read your comments. We take great pride in our condo as you can tell by previous guest reviews. We have the number of our local contact person on the refrigerator of the condo and are so sorry that you did not call her to take care of these things. We recently had had her buy new bedding and the towels were replaced a short time ago. We have the condo professionally cleaned after every guest leaves. I can't imagine what could have gone wrong for you. We'll be talking with both our contact person and cleaning company. We definitely will take care of this situation.

Constant viewing of turtles directly in front of condo! We prefer this to the 'resort' areas -much more laid back. Our boys are ages 20 and 23 and they loved it as well. It was always nice to come home to 305 in the evenings and relax on the lanai and BBQ a nice dinner. The owners were very accessible by phone when needed. Bill, one of the resident managers, was very helpful as well. We would definitely recommend this condo and hope to come back to it in the future! ”

My family loved having the choice of being able to walk down and swim right in the ocean or in the swimming pool. And turtles feed right there in front of the condos - big turtles!! The location is fantastic with shops just down the road but we still had a car which made discovering Maui much easier. One point which might put people off is that there is no air conditioning, but let me tell you it is not necessary. The breeze coming straight off the sea or even from down the hill behind is more than enough to cool the condo. We loved staying at the Nohonani and Condo 305 had everything we needed. It's kept a piece of my heart. ”

“ We had a wonderful stay in this condo! The weather was upper 80's so we spent alot of time at the beach right in front of the condo. It was a nice private beach and there was also a pool right next to it. The kids had a blast playing in the sand and water. The condo had sand toys, lawn chairs, and boogie boards all available to use anytime. It was a comfortable atmosphere inside and we really liked having the kitchen and washer/dryer. The farmers market a couple blocks down had some good finds too! The only thing we missed out on was air conditioning. ”

“ we're so happy you enjoyed our condo and had such a wonderful time. It means a lot to us. We were surprised, though, that you thought you had missed out on air conditioning. With our condo being right on the water with the opposite side of the condo open to the outside above the gardens, and with the gentle trade winds, we have never felt the need for air conditioning.
We have had other guests mention being surprised in Hawaii not needing air conditioning at our condo. And it would mean having to close the windows missing out on the sound of the surf and the trade winds. We are pleased, though, that you enjoyed our condo and hope you'll come again. ”

Things have changed a lot since then, but we were pleasantly surprised to find Maui still as beautiful as we remembered and not as congested as we'd expected. We had business on Maui, but in between we did lots of sightseeing and kicking back at this beautiful oceanfront refuge. Our time at the Nohonani Condos, conveniently located near resorts, restaurants, markets and shops was so very restful and enjoyable. ( We heartily recommend the "Ohana Taco" wagon, found after 6 pm within walking distance of the Condos.) Greeted by a thoughtful gift basket of island treats, we slid open the lanai doors to breathe in the fresh salt air. The views of Molokai and Lanai changed hourly with the glorious weather and the rising and setting sun. Rainbows appearing, whales spouting and breaching through the channel, turtles and manta rays playing in the shore break. It was a real treat for us Big Islanders and we definitely look forward to a future jaunt to the Valley Isle and the "home-away-from-home" comfort of Nohonani Condo #305! ”

“ Normally condos or hotels do not quite live up to their pictures or description but #305 Nohonani surpassed our expectations. The condo is in the most beautiful location we could imagine. It is right on the edge of the ocean, and the view could not be better. We saw numerous Humpback Whales as well as giant sea turtles feeding right in front of our lanai. We ate most of our meals in as you could not get a better table at any restaurant. The sunsets and rainbows were spectacular, and the barbecues were always available. The beds were comfortable as was the temperature in the condo, thanks to a lovely cross breeze. It was clean and very pretty. The check in process was easy and hassle free. The condo is well stocked, and includes the use beach towels, hair dryer, boogie boards, books, and basic spices and kitchen supplies. We would highly recommend #305 Nohonani Condos. ”

Chuck was so helpful in the planning, and before we even left home I was surprised to receive a welcoming letter from the owners with tips for our stay---plus a wonderful welcome basket was waiting for us in the condo. When we opened the door, saw the ocean and heard the waves, I knew this WAS just the right place. We had a wonderful week and will always remember our stay. The only minor complaint was that the bathtub/shower was a bit below the standard of the rest of the condo--everything else was great! We would stay again in a heartbeat. ”

“ First trip to Maui and couldn't be happier with our week long stay in this unit. Of the 4 condos we resided in during our trip (December 18-January 6), this was by far the nicest and most comfortable. Booking the condo was easy (used vrbo to search and check availability and virtual tours, videos to view most properties). The owner was very patient and friendly. We checked in Christmas Eve day after a quick flight from Oahu and were blown away. The view of the water and Molokai was terrific. Very peaceful. The elevator and luggage dolly made moving in easy. The unit is very roomy, especially the living room. We have 3 children (11, 9, 7) and we all slept fine. The master bedroom has a great view and its own door to the lanai. Sleeping to the sound of waves is incredible. The high quality ceiling fans and lots of cross-ventilation kept the unit cool. Extras like games for the kids, Maui guidebooks, and the welcome basket were an unexpected pleasant surprise. The area is very nice. Not congested like the nearby resort areas. ABC store is a couple blocks away and a Safeway is a 10 minute drive. We saw turtles right below us from the lanai every morning and whales every day. The owner provides binoculars which made whale watching much easier. Saw some incredible views of the full moon setting over the ocean, however the highlight during our stay was being greeted with a spectacular double rainbow over the ocean in front of Molokai on Christmas morning! Thanks so much for opening your home to us. Our family will always remember this trip. ”

“ This was our first experience renting a condo on line. It could not have been easier. The "virtual tour" of unit 305 was exactly as we found it...clean, comfortable and well stocked with all the necessities and many extras. Internet access was a very pleasant surprise. We also appreciated the travel guide and guest book in the unit. They provided tons of local to-do and dining tips. It is a relatively small and intimate complex so it was easy to strike up conversations around the pool, beach or BBQ grills, all the more homey. If I had to find a complaint, it would be that there is only one shower (+ a half bath). When the 4 of us would come in from the beach or a day trip we would have to take turns showering. If you are in no hurry, then this is no problem...just chill on the lanai and enjoy the wonderful view til it's your turn. We would absolutely recommend this unit. ”

“ Our family vacation was spent island hopping with Maui being our final destination. We were looking forward to relaxing for the last few days on the ocean and Nohonani #305 was the perfect setting! It was right on the ocean, with a beach and swimming pool and very close to Lahaina and our other planned activities (the Old Lahaina Luau, Ka'anapali Ziplining with Skyline Eco-Adventures, and snorkeling). The condo was well-appointed and obviously well cared-for. The stacked laundry equipment was extremely handy and the kitchen was fully-stocked for all of our needs. Bedding and towels were in great condition as were all of the furniture, appliances and other furnishings. The kids were very pleased to have the extensive TV selections and I LOVED having the high-speed internet connection so I could continue blogging about our wonderful trip. There was no air-conditioning, but when I go to the ocean I WANT to have the windows open in order to enjoy the sounds of the surf! Plus, with the wind from the east coming through the front windows of the condo and the ocean breezes coming in from the back, the ceiling fans in every room did an excellent job of providing circulation and dissipating the heat of the day when it was time to sleep at night. Chuck the rental agent, was great to work with, always responding quickly to questions and helping us make our time there so enjoyable. The owners, the Kelly's, provided a driving map and suggestions for supply shopping well in advance in addition to a welcome gift upon arrival. We are very pleased to highly recommend this condo! ”

We were pleased to see a very nice welcome basket awaiting our arrival, too! The place was very clean, well-stocked, comfortable (beds and pillows were fantastic), and felt like home. We all enjoyed seeing the sea turtles all the time out front (and swimming w/ them, too!) The location was very centralized and made it very easy to get just about anywhere. Listening to the waves breaking thru the day and night was very relaxing. This was JUST as it was advertised and even better than we expected. We have already recommended it to several friends and hope to return soon for some whale-watching! The only negative was the fact that it is all the way in Hawaii! :) we wish it was closer so we could enjoy it more! Thanks! ”

“ This condo has an awesome location and is right on the ocean. The master bedroom is also on the ocean front and you are lured to sleep with the sound of the waves. We like being on the 3rd floor for the vast ocean view. The gass grills right on the ocean make for a beautiful place to cook dinner as the kitchen is way to hot to cook in. If you plan on cooking much, it is not very equipped for that. Only the minimal necessities in the kitchen. Other things that would really upgrade the unit is a better master bed mattress and blinds to block the heat of the afternoon. In the evenings we would watch the most beautiful, breath taking sunsets from the lani and then be rocked to sleep by the ocean waves! Also close to other beaches on the West side, this made it easy to check out several different beaches during our week long stay. When we weren't out taking in the beauty of the island we sat on the balcony and watched the turtles coming in and out to feed and looked for whale action. Having the boogie boards available to us was also nice, one less thing to rent, we made good use of them. The grills on site were really nice and worked great. I would highly recommend staying here, it is close to so many places and a great way to be able to enjoy Maui and the ocean every minute you are visiting. The only bad thing about staying here was having to leave! ”

Also, the upstairs master BR has an open ceiling to the guest room, so if parents are planning for some privacy from the kids - forget it ! All-in-all I would recommend this place to someone who has not been to Hawaii before. It's close to lots of activities, especially in Lahaina, but is quite a drive from Road to Hana or Haleakala. I recommend going up to Napili beach for sunning and snorkeling, and DT Fleming for boogie boarding. both are within 10 minute drive. There is good snorkeling at Nohonani if you go straight out about 100 yards. Well tended grounds and lush plant life really added to the stay. ”

We were a party of seven and when we walked in we were thrilled with the size and cleanliness of the condo. More thrilling was the ocean view and being right on the beach. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was simply heavenly. We usually ate breakfast on the lanai and every day, around noon or so we were so lucky to watch the wonderful sea turtles swimming. Due to the rocky area right as you enter the water from the beach swimming was not always the best but my husband, daughter and her friend did enjoy going snorkeling a few times. The swimming pool was wonderful and we usually had it to ourselves. The location of the Condo is fabulous. You can walk to several different places, such as the grocery store, coffee shop, small farmers market, even a yummy taco truck that was there most evenings. Boss Frog is right down the street and that is where we rented our snorkeling equipment. Everybody we met was very friendly and very helpful. We felt fortunate to be less than 5 minutes from Kaanapali Beach and Whalers Village. Our all time favorite beach which was about 10 minutes away was Kapalua Bay Beach located in Napili. If you want to snorkel this is the place to go. If we ever get the chance to return to Maui we would stay at Nohonani condos and resort again. It truly felt like home away from home and it was very difficult to leave. ”

It's a lovely feeling knowing that ants would probably be crawling all over their boxes of food and water cups. The dishes that we did attempt to use were dirty. Both bathrooms were so outdated and dinghy looking. I went to get in the shower and there was hair on the floor and wall. Gross! After our dinner, we came back to find bugs all over the main living area. My husband started taking pictures of the various bugs from flying ones to roach looking ones. These were different bugs than the ants that were all over the kitchen. To end the lovely day, I went to get in bed upstairs (in the sweltering heat - no aC and the fans totally did not cool things down) and the sheet was stained and there was hair in several places on the sheets. Disgusting! I do not recommend staying here at all unless if you like living in bug infested unsanitary conditions. We moved to the Kaanapali Shores and got a beautiful new looking condo for the rest of the week that was impeccably clean and the same price. ”

No closet, peeling wallpaper and mold. The bathrooms were clean enough but all doors need replacing. We also had an ant infestation in the kitchen area. There wasn't anyone available to talk to on the property about this and we never met Bill, the property manager,even after inquiring at the rental office. Finally, we had to purchase our own papergoods because there was only one extra roll of T.P. and P.T. which wasn't enough for 6 adults for a week. All in all, we enjoyed the experience, with reservations.This could be an exceptional rental with some much needed upgrades. ”

The kitchen had everything you needed and we cooked a lot to keep the cost down. The beach was incredible, we swam and snorkeled and saw huge sea turtles. The only drawbacks were that there was no air conditioning and it was pretty hot expecially on the second floor. The fans helped but was not enough to keep it cool. Also, I think there are some mice in the unit as we had our bread and crossants on top of the frige and we took them down one morning to eat and there were little holes and bites out of them so we had to throw them away. We didn't see any droppings or the mice themselves but did see the evidence of them eating our food on top of the frige. Overall our stay was lovely and we could see staying there again. ”

Every morning right from the bedroom windows you can see turtles feeding just off shore. During the days great restaurants and markets are just a short walk down the street. The area is not over populated, unlike other areas of Maui. The beach on the property is small but absolutely great for snorkeling. You don't have to go more than 5 feet out to see a variety of fish. We enjoyed that the beach was a bit more private than others on the island. Seeing whales each night and hearing the conches blow at sun down was amazing. We stayed here for 5 days with a group of 6. We saw (and swam with) sea turtles every day and even saw a couple of whales from a distance. The location is perfect, away from the crowds in Lahaina but close enough to visit daily if desired. We were very comfortable here and loved the sound of the surf. It is well furnished. A few cons: the smoke alarm goes off very easily (even making toast). Ceilings are low - must be careful not to stretch standing below the ceiling fans. A few lamps had burned out bulbs. The beautiful master bedroom would benefit by adding a mirror, which would free up the demand on the upstairs bathroom. The bathtubs are a little worn but that didn't bother us. We would definitely return. ”

The website pics are 100% accurate and there is nothing misleading. Loved the 2 stories, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and the washer/dryer. The view from the lanai and the sunsets were spectacular. There was a group at the next condo that would gather at sunset to all blow their conches-to say goodbye to sunset-that was really eerie but cool. Looking for turtles was fun. Watching Molokai at sunrise was breathtaking. Hearing the waves lapping 24/7 was soothing. No aC is not an issue-the tropical breezes and fans were better than aC. There's even a plumeria tree on the premises! I was so sad to leave and can't wait to return. Maui no ka oi and Nohonani 403 no ka oi...Mahalo nui loa to all concerned. Mark Twain got it right: "No alien land in all the world has any deep strong charm for me but that one, no other land could so longingly and so beseechingly haunt me, sleeping and waking, through half a lifetime, as that one has done Other things leave me, but it abides..." ”

“ We have stayed at the Nohonani complex 3 times now and absolutley love this area. The complex is quiet and the small beach is great. I rated it with the 4 stars for the old Hawaiian feel. It's not the most up-to-date place you could choose, but it has all of the amenities you need. Unit 403 was larger than the ones we usually rent. It had 3 bedrooms. The views are magnificent from all bedrooms. The unit has had some upgrading and needs some more, but we will stay here again. The bathrooms and kitchen need to be updated, but they work just fine. The owners provide beach towels, boogie boards, coolers and a lovely welcome basket on arrival. Nice touch. There is always plenty of parking. We had 2 cars and had no problem. There is an ABC store with gas and a farmer's market within walking distance. There are also grocery stores and restaurants a few blocks away if you didn't want to drive to Lahaina(6 miles away) for supplies. Groceries are expensive in west Maui and we found the Times market down the street was pretty competetive with Safeway in Lahaina. We love the whale watching, dolphins, turtles and snorkeling right from our condo. You can also walk down the beach quite a ways during low tide. Very nice walk. All in all...a great place to stay. ”

It is one of the few condo complexes in the area that has it's own beach- which is a great! Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable visit for our entire family, and we would most definitely return to the condo, and recommend it to those who view these reviews. I know that some reviews commented on the need to upgrade the condo, or move the smoke alarm out of the kitchen, so it doesn't go off each time you make toast or cook, but hey- your in beautful Maui, in a comfortable condo, with great ocean views, warm water, a pool , private beach, ect, ect. “ We visited with elderly Mom and two toddlers (yep, we're nuts!). Perfect setting for all. The on call support person was very responsive to our one need. The owner had alreay made funishings upgrades that were very nice, beds were comfortable etc. The carpet guys were arriving as we left so you will enjoy new flooring in 2010! I'll add this comment for those who will find it an issue: 1) the loft bedrooms are not private, they adjoin via an open vaulted ceiling. So, if you are renting this unit with other couples or want privacy for a romp, forget it. However, if you need to listen for the little ones, or otherwise don't care, this is perfect! Mom stayed down stairs and that area is really like a separate suite. The shoji screens close but I don't think they're sound barriers. Again, the rompers may want other accomdations. 2) My elderly mother can't get in and out of a tub bath/shower combo and that's what you've got here. So, consider this not ADA functional. All that aside, this is one of the best units I've ever stayed in, anywhere, and we travel a lot! Have stayed in timeshares, luxury hotels and private condo's like this. Unless you require the Westin or the like, you'll be pleased with this sweet unit in a perfect location. ”

The condo was spacious, and while it wasn't as clean as a high priced hotel with daily maid service might be, it was clean enough. It felt like home, very cozy and practical! The only negative thing we can think of, and it isn't very negative at all, was the lack of knives! The only regrets we have are not being able to stay FOREVER, and also that we didn't have time to write in the guestbook about what a wonderful stay we had. I highly recommend 403! ”

“ This was our first visit to the condos at Nohonani and we had 7 people total covering 3 generations of my family. So to say the least, I was concerned how the condo would work with all of us. But it was clean and ready to go when we arrived. There was a very nice wrapped gift basket on the table and instructions for everything. We had 3 bedrooms, two full baths and even washer/dryer setup. All worked great. We really enjoyed the view out over the beach and the reefs. We enjoyed watching the turtles swimming around the bedach and reefs at night from our lanai. We could just go down 4 floors to the ground level and boom, on the beach and swimming with the fishes. :) It was in a good location that was close to shopping plus wonderful other beaches and parks. We really had a great time and highly recommend it to other families that want to be close to everything. (One great feature was that the condo was two stories inside the main door. Inside stairs to the main bedroom, 2nd bedroom and w/d. It kept the teenage girls noise downstairs at night. Peaceful and everyone happy). ”

“ Our experience with Chuck at Aloha Condo's was excellent. He answered all our questions promptly. The condo was nice, open and airy. There was a fantastic breeze blowing through most all day. The location was great, just a short drive to most stores, restaurants and walking distance to the farmers market. The condo was older and we were made aware of that fact, however it required some basic upgrades. WARNING !!! The carpet needs to be replaced desperately !!! Professional cleaning won't even save it. I felt uncomfortable walking around in bare feet. The kitchen smoke alarm went off every time I cooked anything including toast in the toaster. That was loud and annoying. The bathroom fan was very very dirty. The ceiling fan blades were filthy. Positives -- The view, and the sound of the waves crashing at night was extremely relaxing. Watching the sea turtles in front of the condo was awesome. Bottom line, if you can live with some dirt, dust and the thought of god knows what living in the carpet, ...then go for it, but I warn you .. don't spend your $$ until this 20 year old carpet is replaced!! I hope the owner will consider making that improvement at least. If not, then I have to be honest, I would recommend this home solely for the view and beachfront location, This place isn't for someone who is expecting luxury accommodations. ”

“ We had the best possible week in our Nohonani condo in Maui. Our unit (#403) was on the top floor and was a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2-story condo. As soon as we walked in, we knew this would be a special week for us. Our lanai overlooked the small beach, and we were greeted with a wonderful and thoughtful gift basket containing a tote bag, chocolates, cookies, and assorted snacks. My wife was quite impressed by the near new, high quality towels. I think the most impressive parts of this place was the awesome view of Molokai and Lanai while relaxing with a book and some fresh fruit at our table on the lanai; and the chance to watch huge sea turtles most evenings from our lanai, as they would come within 10 feet of the sand. This time my wife and I came with our 21 & 18 year old daughters, but on our next visit to Maui and the Nohonani #403, we will come alone. Even though we won't need the other 2 bedrooms, it will be well worth it to us to stay at this truly memorable location. My wife and I are ready to go back there tomorrow (if only we could). My deepest thanks go out to everyone at Aloha Condos for making our week in Maui such a wonderful experience. ”

We were four adult friends traveling together and found the layout just perfect, especially the two bathrooms. The condo is so centrally located that it was just a short walk to several strip shopping centres where everything you needed was available. Even an ABC shop!!The condo had everything provide to enhance your stay, down to snorkle gear, binoculars to watch the turtles and music CDs to complete the mood. Most importantly, you were right on the beach with uninterrupted views from the balcony and bedrooms. We hardly used the dining room, instead opting for the balcony to take our meals and watch the turtles and sunsets. Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. The owners are just great. Friendly and caring, attending to a few small problems we had quickly and professionally. So at no time were we inconvenienced. Even able to recommend to us the best places to visit, when we weren't on the beach or shopping that is. Local knowledge is the best recommendation. We are planning our next trip to Hawaii in 2010 and will definitely be returning to Nohonani 403. Thanks for a terrific and memorable holiday. A little piece of Hawaiian Heaven. ”

The outside ammenities are wonderful with beach side pool, plenty of lounge chairs, flowering grounds. Nice BBQ area also, but we did have some small, many legged "visitors" during our evening BBQ that we didnt expect! Be careful using this area at night. Interior is clean and has a ton of room, is well appointed with tables, couch, TV, CD player, DVD, etc. All bedrooms are on the ocean side of the unit. This is an end unit so there is a wonderful breaze on the lanai. View of neighboring islands is fantastic. Unit is dated, however, and needs some serious updating in the bathrooms, flooring, etc. Unit supplied plenty of towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, cooler. I would highly recommend this unit! ”

The kitchen is on the small side, but, when you are on vacation, who is going to spend time in there anyway? The elevator was a bit slow, but it worked, thank goodness. The view from the lanai was beautiful. It was fun to sit there in the early evening and watch the turtles as they came close to shore.
