This was a great condo. I had a great time. A great Stay. Nice views. — Herbert Holmes March 2009
I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to mention that my husband and I just returned from Maui and stayed in a condo (Nohonani 204) that is worthy of the pages of House Beautiful. Not only was it really attractive, but the amenities and price were great. The owner had installed a full size washer and dryer when she renovated the condo. Knowing this, we took very few clothes (one suitcase for the two of us) and took advantage of the washer/dryer a few times during our stay. The owner had even supplied Tide! It just made our trip more enjoyable and easy. Another thing worth mentioning is that two nights during our vacation we couldn’t tear ourselves away from the lanai overlooking Molokai and Lanai, so we called Okazuyas, which is a take out restaurant one minute from Nohonani, that makes great home cooked meals for about $12-15 dollars. The portions were so large that we wound up having left overs for lunch the next day. Not only was the food excellent (stir fried mahi-mahi with lots of veggies and rice), but also great chicken and meat dishes as well. The owner had told us about this place and it was a great answer to the eternal question of “Do we really feel like going out to dinner tonight” but we really don’t feel like cooking either! It was an excellent solution to not spending money every night on dinner. We figured that we income cost averaged our meals over a week into a really reasonable number. Okaazuya’s is frequented by a lot of locals and the location made it a perfect solution while staying at Nohonani 204. In addition, there is a rental sore for dvds in the next mall down, so we were all set with entertainment. Dinner and a show while being serendaded by the relaxing sound of waves lapping at the shore! It doesn’t get much better than this!!! In case you have difficulty finding it, the number is 665-0512. We called ahead, grabbed a movie and then relaxed in what was truly Paradise! — Courtney and Doug January 2009

Nohonani 204… Best location!
I just returned from my honeymoon in Maui and stayed at a condo called Nohonani (unit 204). I knew from the pictures that the condo sat right on the edge of the ocean in Honokawai. I also knew the condo was extremely pretty. What I didn’t know, until I got there, was that the location was fantastic. Every day we went snorkeling right off the beach in front of this romantic condo. At night, we had sunset drinks on the lanai and then headed off to some terrific restaurants, suggested by the owner. One amazing Japanese restaurant is called Sansei. It has both a sushi bar and an upbeat, yet causal ambiance in the restaurant. The food was AMAZING! It’s a fun place and allows you to just share a few appetizers or a multitude of different kinds of sushi as well as tempura. This place is hopping! Sansei is an award winning restaurant and it features Pacific Rim Cuisine. The owner was right-on in her restaurant suggestions. Nohonani 204 is only about 7 minutes from the Ritz Carlton. This area has several fantastic restaurants. You can also rent snorkel gear from Bob’s, which is only a minute away from Nohonani. They offer gear packages by the day or week. We hope to celebrate our 1st anniversary in this very same spot next year. We would highly recommend it to anyone who wants an amazing location and a fantastic deal for the price.

Lovely spot for Sunday brunch!
While staying at Nohonani 204 we went for brunch at The Plantation House, which is a beautiful open air restaurant located on The Plantation Course at the Clubhouse, near The Ritz Carlton, which overlooks the Kapalua resort as well as the gorgeous blue Pacific. If you decide to go for drinks before sunset, we caught what is often referred to as Maui’s best sunset view. We found Nohonani 204 to be a great location for exploring the North shore of Maui as well as finding a lot of great restaurants located in the area surrounding The Ritz Carlton and within less than ten minutes to Nohonani. Surprisingly, most of the restaurants were upscale in feeling, but did not break the bank, so to speak. Nohonani 204 is a quiet gem with really great PRICES! — Don & Sue December 2008
Dear Susan,
We just wanted to thank you for a truly wonderful stay at your condo Nohonani 204. We greatly appreciated the way everything was so well thought out as to what we would need for supplies during our stay. We thought the condo was very well stocked. I wrote a review on Trip advisor. So often we complain about things that go wrong and I wanted to make sure that anyone reading tripadvisor.com knew what a great unit Nohonani 204 was. You really made us feel at home. Thank you so much for making our vacation so great! We were really enchanted with our stay. The condo was spotlessly clean and beautiful. — Michelle November 2008
We Had a great time in Condo 204 at Nohonani! We loved being that close to the water and seeing the turtles. Thank you. — Robert F. November 2008
My husband and I recently returned from staying at one of the most romantic condos we have ever been to, Nohonani 204. The stellar location almost blew us away. We had seen pictures, but to experience it first hand is amazing. I had brought a few books, but found myself staring into the ocean and watching the pattern of waves, as if I was hypnotozed. We also found a lovely restaurant suggested by the owner with views overlooking the water. This restaurant is only two minutes from Nohonani 204 and is called The Sea House. Their food was very good and since we were trying to keep our tab to a minimum, we went for the early bird special. The owner of Nohonani 204 gave us lots of tips on where to eat, and we think she was very accurate in her assessments. Great condo, nice owners! We will be coming back. — Dan & Michelle October 2008
