Great location only a couple blocks from shopping center (uphill) and beach (down hill) and easy access to highway. Lots of beach gear in the garage available for guest use. Three spacious bedrooms. Great appliances in large, well supplied kitchen. Comfortable beds and other furniture. Feels like home, not hotel. We got a great deal in shoulder season staying 10 days.

Where to begin? It seems almost every day since we've returned either my wife or I say we need to go back. The experience was wonderful. The property itself is in a great location close to Kahaluu bay, where we snorkeled many times and saw turtles. The view is wonderful and the condo pool great. The condo itself was very comfortable and lovely. We'll be back.

Very beautiful, roomy and clean condo that has nice decor. So convenient to the shopping plaza and beach area but away from the more busy kailua-kona town center. Great sunset-ocean view. It is close to a main road but since it has AC the windows are mostly closed so you cant hear the cars. And if you are upstairs in a bedroom you can't hear a thing going on in the downstairs living area/kitchen. Pool is nice and has a big shallow area for kids. My husband loved having the attached garage for parking the car and having use of the beach gear was great.

Great stay in Na Hale O Keauhou

Grateful traveler from Midwest U.S. on 07/21/2009 said:
In June 2009, our family of ten traveled to Hawaii for a family vacation, and rented two side-by-side three-bedroom Na Hale O Keauhou condos (A-3 & A-4). The Na Hale O Keauhou condos are in a convenient location, with an ocean view, great sunsets visible from the lanai, a pool, comfy living areas, well-equipped kitchens, baths, and laundry facilities, as well as swimming towels, beach toys, boogie boards, etc. We knew some beach 'equipment' would be available -- but the variety was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. The bedrooms were very quiet--very little sound traveled from the living areas to the bedrooms. The condo location was within walking distance to a snorkel beach and we could enjoy the fragrant flowers along the way. All-in-all, the A-3 and A-4 condos were wonderful: new, clean, refreshing, and well-equipped. They provided a great place to relax. We wished our schedules allowed us to stay longer. We would definitely select this condo unit again!

Great very Clean condo. The complex and condos are pretty new. Nice pool and hot tub in the complex. We had a great time. Only drawback was the proximity to the road. We like to sleep with our windows open and it did get road noise early. Nicely decorated and very comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay at Na Hale O Keauhou Unit A-3. This is by far the nicest complex on the Kona side of the Big Island. The complex is beautifully manicured and the pool and jacuzzi are the perfect temperature. Unit A-3 was wonderful, with all the necessities and amenities that anyone could have asked for and the sunsets were to die for. After staying at your home, I can't imagine ever staying in a hotel again. The home had three large bedrooms with the most comfortable beds ever. All the rooms and kitchen had quality furnishings and appliances...This was better than home! I would highly recommend your home to couples traveling together and families alike. We definitely will return.

We completely enjoyed our stay. We love Kona anyways, but the condo was the icing on the cake. It had wonderful views and everything we needed to complete our stay. It is beautifully decorated and the floor plan lays out well. We have 2 children and it was great to cook some dinners and avoid the high cost of the restaurants. The location was central to the activities we like. The beach, snorkeling, farmer's market, golf course and town. Don't hesitate, rent it!

Everything was great...A-4 was very spacious, fully equipped with everything we needed... Would have been nice to have a bath tub stopper for the second bathroom,, also in the second bathroom there was only one light switch with fan which was a little more noisier than usual. Other than that, everything was great.. we loved it...loved the wood flooring the family/dining rooms...

My family and I recently returned from our trip to the Big Island and we truly could not have asked for better accomodations during our stay. The location is perfect for short treks to the nearby beaches as well as stocking up at the marketplace. Everything (and more) is supplied in this condo. The snorkel gear, boogie boards and beach towels were much appreciated and used daily by our family. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals...the coffee grinder was an added plus for the two in our family who prefer whole bean coffee in the morning. The layout was perfect for us, we didn't feel cramped and everyone had plenty of space. Breakfasts on the lanai were a morning ritual...the view of the ocean is a reminder that you truly are in paradise! I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone visiting the Big Island!

Great view over the town of Kona/Kailua with magnificent sunsets over the ocean beyond. Excellently and tastefully fully furnished. Kitchen totally modern and completely equipped. Very close to super market, shopping and good dining. The only drawback was the traffic noise on close by ali'i Drive. That however subsided as the nights got later and we also became accustomed to it.

These units are great for families. There are spacious common areas for everyone to gather, and at the end of the day, each party can relax in their own private bedroom. The units are modern, comfortable, well-furnished, and well-maintained inside and out. There is wireless access so you can look up maps, restaurants, find things to do, etc. The location is great with a nice beach within walking distance, small strip mall just up the block (supermarket, restaurants), and larger malls (Costco, Walmart, Safeway) about 15 mins away. This is actually our 2nd time at the Na Hale O Keauhou complex (stayed in L4 in 2007), and I've recommended the resort to friends and family for all the above reasons. The booking process was simple and straightforward, with appropriate email confirmation and follow up. Specific feedback on unit A4: Pros - Bamboo floors are absolutely beautiful! - AC & fans worked well. We loved coming back to a cool home after a hot & humid day out. - King bed in 2nd bedroom (L4 had queen bed). - Ottomans as coffee table were great for a toddler learning to walk. - Making the gate/garage opener available was a very nice touch, so we didn't have to key in the code each time or open the garage door from the inside of the home. - Some snorkels, beach equipment, and coolers available for use - Easy walk to the pool - Well-stocked kitchen with all kinds of dinnerware, tools, small appliances, etc. - The right amount of supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, garbage bags, etc.) to last a family of 6 for a week Cons - Unit A is closest to the road. There's not much traffic so noise is imperceptible, but you can definitely *see* the road from the lanais. (See pics of the unit on website) - No BBQ on lanai. :( Because of the view of the road & no bbq on lanai, we did not eat outdoors. We really enjoyed eating outdoors when we stayed in L4. - Would have been great to have a couple more dishtowels (there were 2).

This condo has eveything you need in addition to lovely, professional decor. It has just an amazing view out to the water and all the way to Kailua. It was fun to see the cruise ships come in and anchor in the harbor and fun to watch them leave just as the sun was setting. The development is so close to markets and conveniences . The unit it not the normal as the owners have obviously put lot of extra work into it including bamboo floors, a beautiful quilt on the wall, lovely art work, lovely linens and a super-stocked kitchen. We thank the owner for all the thought and consideration she gave to her renters. We will definitely be back and will tell our friends.

I loved this property the location and the condition. My son and I went. Only one problem, they never returned our $250 security deposit, and never responded to any emails or calls...so it was just a way to get an extra $250 out of us.
Manager response:
I am very happy our guest enjoyed the visit with his son; however the comment about the security deposit is factually incorrect.
The $250 security deposit was processed as a credit card authorization only. The checkout report was fine and no actual charges were processed.
A simple check of the credit card statement will verify this.

The convenience of being able to cook some of our meals, and being in s uch a great location was great. We made good use of the cooler and other stuff provided in the garage. I loved waking up to that gorgeous view! We had breakfast on the lanai every morning. You just can't beat the price! We also stayed in a very luxurious condo in Kapalua, Maui that cost 5 times as much, but this one was so much bigger and nicer. We are definitely coming back this year! I want to thank the owner again for sharing her lovely home!

We stayed in Na Hale O Keauhou Townhome a-4 over Christmas 2008 and loved every minute. Many people call their condos "luxury" but that is often a stretch. This was truely a luxury condo in every sense of the word. While not on the ocean the view is great and you are with easy driving distance to most of the parts of the Big Island you would want to visit (except for Kilauea or Hilo of course). I would higly recommend this property, especially if you want to get away from the crowds you find at many of the large resort complexes.

Easy Access and Very Relaxing from Canyon, TX on 04/03/2009 said:
We stayed in this unit last fall and fell in love with the whole property. This unit was very nicely decorated and located at the top of a hill so we could see the water, watching ships anchor in the Kona bay, sail boats and kayaks stream across the water. A shopping center up the hill was nice for quick access to groceries, dining out, post office as well as watching a cat colony the community feeds. It's located on the south side of Kona on the main street, so you get a bit of head start going south to see the sights or can drive down the main street from the south having easy access to the public beach less than a mile away and the shops further north in town. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was great and the kitchen had plenty of dishes and serving pieces. We did entertain and the unit accommodated the event beautifully. The pool area was well maintained and we found ourselves the only ones in there early in the morning and evening. All in all the whole property was quiet and well maintained. It was nice to immerse ourselves in the Big Island on our terms and should we have the opportunity to return, we would definately check on availability of this unit or one like it.

Hello, My family and I recently stayed at this townhome for our vacation. We loved the place. It's a very new unit with nice amenities. The kitchen is awesome with granite countertops and nice tile floors throughout the unit. The unit is very close to each other and many people had their windows open for the cool breeze. As a result, any conversations we had or our neighbors had we heard them all. Our lanai is about three feet from our neighbor kitchen. So when we dine in the lanai area, our neighbor can see us dining and we can hear them cookings. We wish for a little bit more privacy.

The website pictures looked wonderful but looks can be deceiving. Not in this case. It was like staying in a 5 star hotel without elevators. It felt homey and personal and someone obviously put a lot of thought into the details. The home was beautifully appointed and super clean. Our only mild disappointment was the outside patio which was sparsely furnished and without a barbecue. The close proximity to grocery shopping was an added bonus. We had a fun time and would recommend this condo highly.

I was vacationing in Kona using another one of Aloha Condos when the Na Hale O Keauhou condos were being built. They were advertised as luxury condos, and were sold for a high price. I never thought that I would ever have a chance of owning one of these, much less stay in one. I was surprised that they were listed for rent on the Aloha Condo's site when I visited the Big Island again a few years later. The daily rates were so low, I was able to rent this 2 bedroom unit even though I only needed a one bedroom. I can imagine how low it would be if I shared the cost of the condo with another couple. The condo is fully furnished and very comfortable. There's plenty of room to roam and lounge around. There's a great view of the ocean from both the first floor and second floor balcony/lanai. The kitchen comes complete with anything you would need if you decide to cook when staying here. The bedrooms are both roomy and comfortable, and each has an attached full bathroom. The Master bath is everything you ever wanted in a bath with two separate sinks, a shower and a separate bath tub. Each bathroom is also complete with all the soap you need, AND new tubes of toothpaste and toothbrushes. They do go the extra mile to make your vacation care free. I can't see myself staying anywhere else on my next vacation to The Big Island.

We had a great experience in B-2. Everything we could think of that we needed was there. For example, the kitchen was well-equipped (all the pots and pans we needed, utensils, rice cooker, coffee maker AND coffee grinder, even Splenda packets), the laundry area included mesh bags for fine washables, and a hamper, there were plenty of hangers in all the closets, enough towels - both for bathing and the beach. In the garage were supplies for snorkeling and the beach. I definitely appreciated the ease of making reservations and obtaining access to the condo. The only issue we had was that the a/c was still locked when we arrived, but the onsite contact came within an hour to get that unlocked and turned on for us. Definitely highly recommended. Thank you!

Gorgeous Kitchen, granite countertops and fully equipped- even plastic wrap & foil! Would definitely stay here again.

When we stayed in this condo, it was brand new, very clean, very well decorated, and as well as I can remember, it was well equipped and spacious. The view is gorgeous. We were there at Christmas, so we had a very small little tree out on the porch where we ate our Christmas Eve dinner. I would highly recommend this resort. When we go back I would love to stay there once again! Holley

We were really pleased with the size, quality and location of this condo. As soon as we walked in the door we knew we were in someplace special. To top it off, this was the least expensive condo we had stayed in on any of the 4 Islands we have visited, and was by far the most completely equipped and comfortable unit we'd ever seen. This was the first time we had travelled with another couple, and there was plenty of room and amenities for all of us. The location was quiet and convenient to shopping, beaches and access to all the things we wanted to see. The facilities in the complex were clean and well looked after. We really couldn't ask for more, and we look forward to going back sometime soon.

This is what I told a friend about this property: The place is even better than the website pictures show it to be. The condo is only a few years old and the furniture is extremely nice. The owner was very helpful and communicative over the phone and email and the whole thing went very smooth. No hidden charges afterwards either. The view was spectacular, the beach on the other side of the street, and shopping was walking distance. I liked it better because it was not too close to the city center were louder people stayed, but not too far that you felt isolated. Couple of blocks away from the best upper class resorts on the big island. The grass was golfing quality, and the gated community was excellently kept. Flat panel cable TV in every room, attached garage (we parked our car in the garage which was very helpful with the boys, although now the website says for storing personal stuff only, may want to ask about that, although outside parking is right in front of the condo anyway) , I can go on and on. The website has other communities on the big island and some properties on Maui and elsewhere. I have not tried those, but if they are anything like this community, then you can't go wrong. Surprisingly, the prices were among the cheapest. The deal that we got, which was $125 a night, with 7th night free, beat anything out there, including the single hotel rooms they had available in cheap resorts. We didn't even use the second bedroom, although I let the boys ransack it just for fun :)

Absolutely beautiful condo! The beds were so comfortable. It is spacious. The condo was furnished perfectly - my husband loved the spice rack in the gourmet kitchen so much that he found the same one online to purchase. The location was convenient, and we got a great tradewind blowing through by opening up all the windows upstairs and down. We did not have to use the a/c at all. We visited the pool every day and it had a wading pool for our toddler. We ate breakfast every morning on the lanai and the full-time residents were so friendly. I would recommend it highly - we have tried other properties, on the ocean, and they were noisy due to motorists on Ali'i Drive, and the parking is tight. We will be going back to this condo definitely. It was serene and relaxing.

Our overall experience at Na Hale O Keauhou was fantastic. We stayed 9 nights and were sad to leave. Prior to our arrival, the owner of C-2, Tim Hendlin provided us with very clear driving instructions of how to get from the airport to the townhouse. When we arrived, waiting for us was a welcoming gift of macadamia nuts. A nice touch. The complex is very well maintained. The grounds were immaculate, the pool and area around were spotless, and the Weber BBQ was in good working order. Na Hale O Keauhou seems to be a well managed facility. Charlie, the maintenance guy was friendly and always was around when needed. The unit itself was great. Clean and spacious with all the comforts of home. The ocean view from the lanais was gorgeous. There wasn't anything we didn't like about the townhouse. Although a few minor issues - no hairdryer, minimal BBQ tools (could uses a metal spatula and longer tongs), garage remote didn't work. I would stay here again and would recommend it to my family and friends.

We've stayed several times near Kailua village at Kona-by-the-Sea and Royal Sea Cliff. This 2-story townhouse had more room, great ocean views on 2 lanai's, a pool with jaccuzzi, and nearby access to popular snorkling beach - at a much better price. Perfect for those who like to cook a few meals at home. Closest access to quality golf for those so inclined. Small shopping center with walking distance includes a full grocery, drug store, bar, a few restaurants, and a 6-screen movie theater. Even the skies were slightly better south of Kona in Keauhou: less vog creeps down from Hualalai mountain in the afternoons. Don't worry, there's still plenty of sun to tan your hide. If you want to dine out often in Kailua, plan to drive for 10 minutes on a highway instead of 3 on a busy street. Like with all townhomes, hotels, and condos, pray for quiet neighbors - like we had.

We even spotted a crib and pack n play, which will come in handy when we come back and/or recommend this place to other family with children. Did I mention everything was in pristine condition? We traveled to Maui about six months prior to this trip, and spent on a 1 bedroom condo what this 2 bd condo cost. We were delighted at the amazing deal in Maui, so you can imagine our shock when finding this spot!! We enjoyed the pool nearly every day, and had many a lunch & dinner on our patio. I cannot recommend this spot more highly...while it isn't located directly on the beach, it was 10-15 minutes walking distance or 2-3 minutes driving distance from several beaches.

There is a shopping centre close by plus a trolley bus that goes into town. Kona is a terrific little town. I also heard the tour bus trip is great. There's lots of books and magazines about the island in the twnhse. The best one to use is one we had also brought with us..Big Island Revealed.(The blue book) Great reviews. After 17 days in this beautiful condo it was hard to leave. It really felt like home! From the cozy living room to the fully stocked kitchen to the comfy bedrooms, it has everything one could desire in a vacation home. The BBQ on the lower lanai was handy for nightly grilling, and the upper lanai was a peaceful place to read a book, take an afternoon nap, and watch the Kona sunsets. It was also great to have access to the garage to store golf clubs, travel bags, etc. The only downside to this unit is a bit of "traffic" noise as the residents in the lower buildings leave for work in the mornings. It was a great excuse to get up and go for an early morning walk. It certainly wouldn't stop us from staying here again. We thoroughly enjoyed Nanealoa. I guess the title says it all....having stayed in J2 on three different occasions for a total of 13 weeks it really feels like home. The gift basket upon arrival is always much appreciated. One of my favourite places in the townhouse is the lanai off the master bedroom, a great place to read and relax on the comfortable chaises, also a wonderful place to appreciate the ocean view and the incredible sunsets. The outdoor patio furniture on the ground floor lanai is very comfortable too, a great place to have meals and make use of the BBQ. The proximity of the Keauhou shopping centre is very convenient, just a short walk and includes a supermarket, drug store, post office, several restaurants, movie theatre etc. The kitchen is very well equipped, there is also a good stock of supplies such as paper towels, tissues, toilet paper, ziploc and garbage bags etc. Having a remote on one of the house keys was very handy, thus avoiding the need to key in a code every time you enter the complex. The grounds are very well maintained and managed. Finally, the owner, Bob Blomberg is a pleasure to deal with, very accessible and always responds promptly when making contact with him. Very clean - had everything that one could want. In fact, more than we needed. The snorkel beach was so close (about 10 min on foot), we didn't use the pool. Didn't use the BBQ either, but used the kitchen extensively (can't offer any advice on local restaurants). Nice view, especially from the master bedroom lanai. Convenient to the grocery store (walkable if you don't mind the hill). Fairly new, in great condition and well appointed. Some fairly minor disappointments: the bed was too hard for my taste; to get a good picture on the downstairs TV (from cable), you had to make sure that the DVD player was powered off; the crew that maintains the grounds does a good job, but be prepared for the "2 cycle (engine) symphony" 3 days during the week; some residents use their lanais for entering / exting their units, meaning there may well be foot traffic by your lanai (spooked the wife); the burnt wood smell from the fire up the mountain permeated the air every night. Overall, enjoyed my stay, would consider renting again.

The condo was absolutely wonderful, exactly like the pictures on the website - very tastefully decorated and fitted out with all the mod cons (it was like staying in a show home)! Thank you for the welcome basket on arrival. Cooking in the kitchen was such a pleasure - it had every utensil you could possibly want for. There were also beach chairs/boogie boards/snorkel equipment etc in the garage for use when visiting the beaches. Also, having laundry facilities inside the condo and a barbecue on the lanai was definitely a bonus. The gated complex was very quiet, which suited us. The pool area was beautiful and the grounds were very well maintained. It is situated very close, just a little way down the hill, from the Keauhou shopping centre where we used to go the KTA supermarket for our daily newspaper and groceries and which was very reasonably priced (for Hawaii)! Making reservations for Unit J2 via Aloha Condos was very simple and straightforward and handled efficiently by Bob and Judy(the owners). They were very helpful and emailed the guestbook which contained useful information on both the condo and the island, which assisted in the planning of our vacation. They also advised us on the best options when shopping for groceries, which we were very grateful for. In summary, our vacation at Unit J2 and the Na Hale O Keauhou complex was brilliant and we are hopefully looking to return again this year.

My husband and I stayed at the Hale Nanealoa townhome in September of 2006. Let me first preface this review that I am very picky about where I stay on vacations. I have stayed through the gamut of different types of accommodations in my life, from motel to luxury. As I get older, my pickiness has increased and I only like to stay at very nice properties. This property is up in the 5 star range and is one of the best where I have stayed. Everything was new and clean and stylish. There was NO white "cheesy" lawn furniture that I have seen at other Hawaiian properties, nor was there the wear and tear typically seen in other condos in Hawaii. The master bathroom is something you would only get at a five or six star hotel and it was very large. I have stayed on nearly all islands in the Hawaiian chain, and this place has been the best. The view was very nice and the pool quiet and relaxing. The grounds were also well maintained. Everything was upscale here. I very much appreciated the gift basket for our wedding anniversary after I was asked on their website if we were going for a special occasion. The owners were very professional and concerned that we had a good time and everything we needed. (This has not been the case at other Hawaiian properties that I have stayed). The price was excellent for the value of this vacation home. I highly recommend Hale Nanealoa.

The complex and the location of this unit is quite, has well maintained grounds and the pool area fitnes center is 1st class. The complex was built in 2006 and is the newest and nicest townhouse style complex on the Big Island in town you will find. Located in one of the best areas as well. Ocean views, and a 10 min walk away from some of the best snorkeling the island has to offer. White sand beach ( Magic Sands is a short 10 min drive, shopping and your local grocery store KTA a 2 min drive. The complex is so quite most of the time you feel like the only one there and the location is one of the best period. The BBQ on the Lani is a bonus as other units do not have one, there is one you can use in the common area but, it's not ideal as you have to haul everything you need to pool area. L-4 is well equiped but, not like some other units and you would never notice if you have not rented other units. Small things are missing which other units have, and the dishwasher should be replaced or repaired as it does not clean very well. This is minor and the home is beautiful.

We enjoyed L-4 unit very much. The only drawback was that there was some miscommunication about the date of our arrival, and they forgot to activate the a/c for us on the first night, but a phone call the next day to the owner took care of the matter in no time, with great responsiveness. In general, Rick, the owner, is great to work with, and very flexible and kind. The condo was very clean, comfortable and pleasant. The place is beautifully decorated, and well equipped, even including buckets and picnic chairs for the beach, which was great. The kitchen has everything it needs, and is very pleasant to cook in. Everything is new and well maintained. In terms of tips for the owners, I would think of two small things: 1. have a complementary baby/toddler crib handy. 2. replace the master bathroom shower head with one that can switch between modes. Other than that, we loved everything about it (and the swimming pool was also fun). Also, the nearby neighborhood shopping center is very useful, as well as the owners' recommendations about how to prepare for your visit (be sure to read in advance).

This condo's location is so close to grocery stores, movie theater, restaurants and a great snorkeling beach, you really only need the car for Big Island excursions such as volcano, Mauna Kea observatory, etc. We used our car to go to boogie-boarding beaches but were otherwise content to just stay near the place. The place itself was very comfortable for the six of us. Plenty of fans to move air around, and we found that at night colder air would come down the mountain and help us sleep without A/C. All of the furnishings were comfortable. The high-speed Internet connection is faster than mine at home. There is enough beach toys and boogie-boards for everyone -- although I suggest investing in your own snorkel gear.

This was the best family vacation we have ever had! I'm really not exaggerating. Rick's condo was spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay with 3 generations sharing the unit (5 people). I can't imagine staying in a hotel ever again! I really want to know what brand the master mattress is because we had the best sleeps. Rick was very courteous and professional. It was really nice to have the recommended reading about the Big Island in advance to help plan our stay. The townhouse complex is quiet and close to Kona with a safe, family feeling. The fitness room and pool area is well maintained and nice to use. You are a quick walk to groceries and basic shopping as well as the shuttle that will run you right into Kona. It's still a good idea to rent a car to explore the island properly. Aside from revisiting the beach we were married on 10 years ago, snorkeling, showing the kids Volcano National Park, seeing dolphins and a variety of fish, our top thing was barbequing on the lanai while sipping Mai Tais and watching the sunset. Our children enjoyed the small lawn behind the unit. They had a chance to run a bit as well as look for geckos and wild cats. Our experience at this townhouse was fabulous. We have nothing even slightly negative to share with you about this property. Mahalo Rick! We truly hope to be back soon.

Definitely right on the tip top of our list for future vacations. Bill and Cindy J,

My husband and I took our kids on our first Hawaiian vacation and were so fortunate to have booked our accommodations at Na Hale O Keauhou Unit L-4. Our vacation 'home away from home' was perfect and more than we expected. It was clean, pleasantly decorated, and had all the necessary home supplies. Also, the views from the lanai during breakfast as well as dinner were amazing :) Some of our best sunsets pictures were taken from the lanai :) Thank you Rick for your hospitality and sharing your home for others to experience. We look forward to our return trip back!

My family had a wonderful vacation on the Big Island in 2006, and a big part of that experience was our accomodation at Na Hale O Keauhou, Townhome L-4. This Townhome has beautiful modern furnishings and applicances. The location is very convenient to shopping, a great snorkeling park and beach, as well as access to the main highway. The townhome complex is well maintained, secure, quiet with a great pool and gym. The garage parking, patio and water views certainly provided added value to the accomodation. We're looking forward to returning to the Big Island, and we hope to stay at Na Hale O Keauhou L-4 again.

Our experience with this property was fabulous. The owner was very easy to work with and there were no surprises. The condo certainly exceeded our expectations. It was nicely decorated, clean and spacious. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and the grounds and pool area were nicely landscaped. When we arrived everyone was excited and pleased with the condo. It was a distance to the beach, but the ocean was quite visible and the sunsets were awesome. The location was great as it seemed to be centrally located to our various activities. It was nice having beach mats and chairs avaiable to use as well. Our experience couldn't have been better and I would highly recommend this to anyone. We will certainly stay here when we come again.

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful townhouse with our two children. It was even better than the pictures. Everything was immaculate when we arrived. Not only is it beautiful, it is very comfortable. The bedding and linen is nicer than most 5 star hotels. My husband and I enjoyed watching the sunset over the ocean from the balcony off our bedroom. While we were on the Big Island, they were expecting a direct hit from a hurricane. Parks, attractions and stores were closed for two days. While the hurricane never hit land, there were some severe storms. We enjoyed watching movies curled up on the cozy sofa and played games provided in the townhouse. Staying here salvaged our vacation. The owner called before and after the storm to check on us. We have traded our timeshare for condo's in Hawaii before, but this is far better than any timeshare rental. The feel is not that of a rental but an upscale house. The unit is a short walk from the pool and close to shops, dining and snorkeling trips. For as much money as a hotel room, you can stay in a luxurious home.

The minute we walked in the door we knew we were in for a special experience. This town home is exquisitely decorated with very high end tropical furnishings by people who pay attention to details and it shows. The panoramic views of the ocean and the sunsets from every room and the lanais are spectacular and we found ourselves eating almost every meal there. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen and BBQ was also great. We enjoyed and appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards and the ice chest for our trips to the beach and other adventures. We cannot think of anything lacking and can't wait to come back again to Na Hale O Keauhou L-4. This is the nicest accomodation we have ever stayed at in Hawaii!!!!

We had a wonderful time on the island and this was a great property. This unit was very well appointed with all the amenities of home: fully equipped kitchen, beautiful living and dining rooms, multiple bathrooms, even a washer & dryer. The owners even provide beach towels and toys for the kids! A number of lcoal guides, restaurant menus, and suggestions were provided by the owners, which was a very nice touch. With 4 kids it is important to have enough space for everyone. It was nice to have enough space to let everyone unwind at their own pace and with their own space. The unit had wireless internet access which was great for making reservations, checking on the office, etc. The view is wonderful and the pictures speak for themselves. This is a great location, just far enough from the downtown so as not to be too hectic, but close enough not to feel completely isolated. Grocery store, restaurants, movie theater, shopping, etc. is within a 2 minute drive. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed staying here.

We had a fabulous time at Na Hale O Keauhou, #L-4! Picture this... 6 women walking in the door and dashing from room to room and ooh'ing and ahh'ing everything! This vacation home was beautifully furnished and impeccably maintained. We really enjoyed the open floorplan downstairs. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed -coffeemaker, storage containers and cookware. We really appreciated all of the special touches the owner provides including: ice chests, beach towels and chairs, books, guides, games and DVD's. The outdoor patio furniture was comfortable and we enjoyed the BBQ and being able to relax out there and watch the sunset in the peaceful surroundings. I highly recommend this property for your next vacation!

We surfed the Internet looking for family style accomodation for about three weeks before making contact and then selecting this condo, sight unseen. We were a bit apprehensive about booking online and only had the pictures which were on the website to go on. Need I say, we were most pleased. From the great lengths the owners went to to ensure you had lots of information on the services they provide in the condo and surrounding areas, to the equipment supplied - need I say, our stay was MAGIC! We were within walking distance from the shopping centre and about 10 minutes from Kona. We loved the space that the condo provided that we were due to stay for 7 nights and extended our stay to 10 days which allowed us more time to spend on this beautiful island. We would definitely recommend Rick and the L4 condo - what you see online is what you get - AND MORE, they come highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!

As long-time Hawaii visitors I speak from experience when I say this condo is exceptional. It is beautifully decorated, has a well equipped kitchen and a nice grill which makes eating on the deck fantastic. We often bought fish at the market and grilled it while watching the gorgeous sunsets. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely furnished and the master bath is huge. The condo complex is only five years old and is meticulously cared for. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful pool and exercise area which are very near the condo. There is a shopping mall with a nice grocery store within walking distance and a trolley that goes into downtown Kona several times a day. For us, however, one the best things about Na Hale O'Keauhou is that it is only a mile or so from the Kona Country Club which has 27 holes of really fun and scenic golf.

The spacious town home was superbly furnished from the tropical designer furniture, exquisite artwork, fully supplied gourmet kitchen to the luxurious linens and towels, etc. We also loved being within walking distance of the beach for swimming and snorkeling and having the shopping center just a short walk up the hill. It was also nice to have beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards and a cooler supplied for beach time. They thought of everything!! The development is also beautifully cared for and the pool/spa/wading pool area was great to relax at. We plan to go back to Na Hale O Keauhou L-4 later this year for a return visit and also have recommended it to friends.

After looking at numerous properties, we needed to find a place for my husband and I, our single son, and our married son, daughter-in-law and two children. We were looking for a three-bedroom place in Kona near the ocean. This place fit us to a T. There are two bedrooms perfect for two couples, and a third bedroom with two twins - perfect for kids; all excellently decorated making you feel like you're in a 5 star hotel. Having laundry upstairs was so helpful! The downstairs had two seating areas, and although there was a beautiful dining room table, we found ourselves sitting outside on the patio for every meal. The kitchen was well appointed. The refrigerator was clean when we arrived. Having a few beach chairs and boogie boards were great for the kids. Plus, the owner left a book that guides you around the island which we used every single day. Overall, our experience was a ten out of ten. The owner answered all of our questions promptly. I highly recommend this property for anyone wanting the "Hawaii" experience.

We rented and came back again this year, as our previous stay was so memorable. First I must say the the location, quiet neighbourhood and close proximity to the grocery store still is a great reason to stay. The unit is exactly as pictured and accomodates any family easily. Our biggest disappointment and huge issue was the general tideness/cleanthiness of the unit when we arrived. The showers/bathrooms were spotty and not clean and the bedding on the beds dirty and smelled like "B.O." I did contact someone, but did not get a reply or call until our maid was due mid week and by this time had cleaned and washed all the bedding myself. In addition, all the wonderful beach stuff that was part of our rental last year, gone!! We ended up purchasing and leaving behind 4 body boards/snorkle masks/beach umbrella and many other things. Along with this, the owners have put a "lock" on the downstairs closet making anyone with luggage or clothing, have to walk upstairs and intrude on other rooms for storage and to hang clothes. Overall, the townhouse has a beautiful view and security for those looking for a safe place to stay. I think the owners need to look at why they are renting and how the changes they have made impact both the experience and comfort. Overall, I would recommend but be aware that if you have issues, they probably will not get addressed.

Overall this was a very nice condo with plenty of room in a great location off of Alii drive. We really liked the proximity to the beach, downtown Kona, and the shopping center. The amenities in the condo facility including the pool and workout room were also very nice. The only complaint was that the initial cleanliness of the condo was not good. In particular three out of the four beds in the condo had large hair balls in the sheets, almost like they hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival, or not cleaned very well.

The location is great, only about 5 - 10 min drive to beaches and around the corner from the shopping center. When we had a question about the air conditioner, someone was there to help us within the hour. We've already recommended this condo to several people and would definitely stay there again if ever in Kona.

This amazing condo was "everything" the owner stated. This unit is one of the few in this complex, that has a beautiful view of the ocean, along with close access to the pool/BBQ area. We found it to be very clean, the owner easy to correspond and talk to and the location safe, secure and quiet. The drive from the airport was both non-stressful and directions to easy to follow. The best part.... was the location of a grocery store, post office and drug store right behind, making it easy for grocery shopping or last minute meal planning. Our family (which included our young/adult children) quickly found the best snorkling was just 1 mile down the road, with the "tourist" area of Kona just beyond. We felt that there was nothing we could have needed, even for the beach, and suggest that you really "only" need clothes. We never ran out of towels or bedding, and loved the laundry room on the main floor. Any large family would love this condo as the owner has provided for all ages and all needs, right down to the extra air beds for parents that want their little ones close and DVD movies for all ages. The free internet allowed us to sit on the lanai and plan our days while we drank our morning coffee atching the sun come up. The location is close to the major highway making any activity, coffee farm tour or tourist attraction easy to find. We went to relax and enjoy the sun, away from the hotel type of stay.. and were not dissappointed. This condo is great value for your money and truly a "HOME away from HOME"

This is a wonderfully appointed unit loaded with every amenity possible. If you are looking for resort complete with an events coordinator, pool side bar etc. consider elsewhere as the complex has a residential feel great for those looking for peace and quiet. One small annoyance is that the hot tub is prone to frequent outages due to children playing with the shut off control. Bottom line if you are looking for a place to park and relax in the Kona district you cannot go wrong with this rental unit . Please note if your vacation plans include extensive trips to the north, east or south island attractions the commute times from the Kona district will eventually wear you out. Last -Aloha Condos were great to deal with and I would highly recommend others to their rental web site.
