The palace was fantastic, well equiped with everything we needed. The owner called several times to make sure that everything was all right.
The only "down side" to the property was it was a little far from the beach, and no McDs :-) in the area.
The facilities and the on-site manager were the best that one could expect.

My family stayed at Aloha Condos in Kailua-kona for 4 nights in October. Wonderful condo complex. Great location. Unit was new and very clean. Walking to snorkle beach! Price for unit was reasonable though lots of added expenses...cleaning, AC, taxes you don't see in the beginning. We would return here!

Our overall experience at Na Hale O Keauhou was fantastic. We stayed 9 nights and were sad to leave.
Prior to our arrival, the owner of C-2, Tim Hendlin provided us with very clear driving instructions of how to get from the airport to the townhouse. When we arrived, waiting for us was a welcoming gift of macadamia nuts. A nice touch.
The complex is very well maintained. The grounds were immaculate, the pool and area around were spotless, and the Weber BBQ was in good working order. Na Hale O Keauhou seems to be a well managed facility. Charlie, the maintenance guy was friendly and always was around when needed.
The unit itself was great. Clean and spacious with all the comforts of home. The ocean view from the lanais was gorgeous. There wasn't anything we didn't like about the townhouse. Although a few minor issues - no hairdryer, minimal BBQ tools (could uses a metal spatula and longer tongs), garage remote didn't work.
I would stay here again and would recommend it to my family and friends.
Bigger, better, cheaper in Keauhou

We've stayed several times near Kailua village at Kona-by-the-Sea and Royal Sea Cliff. This 2-story townhouse had more room, great ocean views on 2 lanai's, a pool with jaccuzzi, and nearby access to popular snorkling beach - at a much better price. Perfect for those who like to cook a few meals at home. Closest access to quality golf for those so inclined. Small shopping center with walking distance includes a full grocery, drug store, bar, a few restaurants, and a 6-screen movie theater. Even the skies were slightly better south of Kona in Keauhou: less vog creeps down from Hualalai mountain in the afternoons. Don't worry, there's still plenty of sun to tan your hide. If you want to dine out often in Kailua, plan to drive for 10 minutes on a highway instead of 3 on a busy street. Like with all townhomes, hotels, and condos, pray for quiet neighbors - like we had.

The condo was exactly as pictured on the website. We saw spectacular sunsets from the lanai. It was just far enough away from the tourist hub for relaxation and just a few minutes drive to be in the middle of the party. The condo was equipped with all we needed, we BBQ'd a couple times, made ourselves Kona coffee and sat outside as the sun rose, and enjoyed the quiet times at the pool. We didn't want to leave! This was the first time we stayed in a condo instead of a hotel and we will be back!
