Quarantine
Visitors are not legally able to rent or otherwise occupy this property if subject to mandatory quarantine. If at any point you become subject to mandatory quarantine, you agree to notify the owner as soon as possible and to not occupy the rental. Anyone found to be in violation of the mandatory quarantine policy will immediately be reported to the police and forced to pay for required cleaning.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a refund to visitors who are unexpectedly forced to mandatorily quarantine upon arrival or at any time during their stay.
Deposit and Payment
- A Non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total rental amount must be received to confirm a reservation
- Full payment of the rental balance due is required no less than 60 days prior to the check-in date.
- A security deposit of $500 is also required and will be authorized on your credit card 7 days prior to arrival. A charge may result for damage to the condo, missing contents, keys, or for exceeding the maximum number of allowed overnight guests.
- Falsely representing less guests than those that are actually staying will result in forfeiture of Security Deposit.
- $50 charge will occur for a lockout.
Cancellations and refunds
- All payments are non-refundable
- Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check-in date can have the deposit applied to a new set of dates at the same Aloha Condos property within one year of the original check in date.
- Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to check-in will forfeit all deposits
- Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check-in will forfeit all deposits and rental balance due payments.
- Weather and extreme environmental events policy: No refund will be given unless a mandatory evacuation order has been given by the County of Hawaii for Keauhou and the surrounding area. In the event a mandatory evacuation order is issued, we will refund unused portions of rent of a guest currently occupying the property and any advanced rents or deposits collected for a guest that is scheduled to arrive during the evacuation order period.
Cleaning Fees
- All stays have a checkout cleaning fee of $150. Stays of more than 14 days may have additional mandatory interim cleaning fees of $150.00. For example, if you had reserved the condo for 28 days, there would be two interim cleanings during your stay. One on the 14th day and one on the 28th day, as well as the checkout cleaning after you checkout. Please call to schedule an interim cleaning.
- There is a $25/hour charge for excessive cleaning, beyond standard checkout cleaning.
Check-in and Check-out Times
General Policies
- Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited in the condo or on the condo lanai and doing so will result in full loss of security deposit.
- No pets of any kind are allowed in the condo or on the condo lanai.
- Occupants and Guests shall not make or permit any disturbing activity or noise in any part of the Condominium after 9:00 P.M. Occupants and Guests shall not do or permit anything to be done that will interfere with the rights, comfort, and convenience of other Occupants, nor do anything that is an unreasonable annoyance to the peaceful possession or proper use of the Condominium by other Apartment Occupants and Guests at any time.
- Quiet time is from 9:00 P.M. to 8:00 A.M. Excessive noise such as loud TVs, stereos, etc., shall not be permitted and should be reported immediately to security..
- We charge a fee of $15 per for any missing beach or bath towels upon checkout.
- Please do not feed the birds from the lanai.
- The internet ID and password are written on the modem.
- Please be respectful of neighbors and try to keep the noise to a minimum after 9 pm.
