Great Honeymoon Trip

By the time we got from Korea to Hawii we were so tired. Rocco and Chuck took really good care of us planning our delayed honeymoon and arranging early check-in. The view was fantastic overlooking both the marina and the Hawaiian Hilton lagoon next door. Great fireworks display at 5AM starting the annual marathon race while we were there. Unfortunately Hawaiian Hilton did not have their weekly Friday night fireworks show during our stay. They have it 50 weeks a year. It was so nice to cook breakfast in the fully equiped kitchen whenever we woke up. And we saved a lot of money this way too. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was great! Didn't have to haul a suitcase full of dirty laundry back home. Hight speed internet access kept me in touch with my work daily taking care of problems and checking email. At night cuddle with the wife watching a DVD while drinking a glass of wine or beer. This place has all the comforts of home. I will never stay in a hotel again if I have an option like this for the same price! Across the street is McDonald's that I was craving since I work in Korea. Downstairs is Outback and Red Lobster. I've ate at Red Lobster many times, but this was the best and freshest meal we have ever ate there! And still resonably priced including drinks. I had a rental car to visit old co-workers and drive around the island besides shopping. Parking was a little expensive but easy and no hassles. This corner condo with the extra windows is the best one to rent in our book. Thanks Aloha Condos!!

The service and amenities were satisfactory. The location of Ilikai Marina is the best for us as it is between Waikiki and Ala Moana. Room 1180 is also the best for us as it is the corner room and has the best view. 2 small thinngs we worried about were : (1)the air-conditioning was not working properly, that is, the room was too hot at sunset time. (2)knives were for the left-handed and my wife, right handed, could not use them properly. Anyway, we have enjoyed the stay very much. Thank you!

The condo is very nice...AC was sometimes not strong enough for the afternoon heat that comes in the all the glass windows and glass door have to keep the blinds closed a lot of the time...otherwise the condo is nicely maintained...parking across in the marina parking lot was far cheaper than in the parking garage..the location is nice and easy to get in and out of...Outback right around the corner...Red Lobster next door and McDonalds is just across the street from the condo...The Hilton Hotel is 2 streets over and has a great pizza restaruant (Round Table) inside of the Hilton...enjoyed all of it would stay here again....

My wife and I stayed in Condo 1180 for a week in November. Excellent location with beautiful ocean and sunset views. Close to beach, Ala Moana shopping centre and restaurants. The Condo itself is very comfortable and clean and has good quality furniture and fittings. The kitchen has everything you need. Being a corner unit it offers 180 degree views which gives it an airy feel. You don't feel that you are living in a shoebox. Excellent value for money, especially the view. We would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed next door at the hotel in the past and loved the view, so we knew where we wanted to be in the same area. The view in this unit is wonderful! Sailboats in the marina (and we sail), and the blue ocean beyond! We had this view from three windows. What more could we ask for! The lanai is very small, but just opening the door and sitting at the table made us feel that we were right outside in the beauty. The location is wonderful as you are located next to the shopping center and it very walkable to the downtown areas as well. There is a cooler and chairs for the beach, which is a nice extra. Wireless internet in included, so that is a plus as well. A washer and dryer in the unit made it nice for washing before continuing on to the next island. Parking is not free, but really - unless you are a newbie and need to go around the island, there is transportation buses etc. that handle the needs. We will rent again and look forward to the beautiful view.

We stayed for a week in this beautiful and clean unit and liked it very much. Great view of marina and Magic Island, convenient to Waikiki, grocery stores, bus, quiet. Big, 2 wall windows are spectacular, strategically positioned mirror panels expand the view making the unit more open and spacious. Good kitchen. Ongoing construction in adjacent Ilikai hotel did not bother us at all. Central air was a plus - entire building was quiet while some other condominiums around buzzed as beehives at night. The best memory is watching the 4th of July firework from lanai while sipping a shake, much higher than from the ground and thus firework is closer and bigger, no people around, no noise, no cars. The unit is positioned just right for the firework view. Great place.

The moment we stepped in this condo, a wide view of the blue sky and the ocean jumped in to our eyes! We just enjoyed looking over the view for a while before even sitting down, although we were tired of a long flight. The condo is located at the centre of everything, really everything. The giant Alamoana shopping centre is just 3 minutes walk away, the Prince hotel is right next to it so that you can catch the airport shuttle bus, the beaches are a couple of minutes away of course, etc. Oh, go to Alamo Rent a car behind the condo, they are extremely kind and work whatever easy and better for you. The only cons would be the sound coming from the bar "Chart house" on the 1st floor of the building. People enjoy karaoke and the music is on pretty late. But we usually fall asleep easily, for we played hard everyday!

We purposely rented a condo because we like to have the luxury of cooking in for various meals. The unit is as beautiful as the pictures show, very centrally located and within walking distance to just about every store imaginable. The kitchen utilities need a re-look, pots and pans didn't have lids, etc., but a minor thing. We own a vacation condo on Catalina Island, so we know how important it is to have a fully stocked unit. Parking sucks, but then we were warned about it, so when we did rent a car, we were prepared for it. Will definitely be renting that unit again in the future.

We travel to Honolulu a few times a year and always stay in this condo if available. Not only is the Ilikai Marina great for location ~ end of Waikiki, so not on the loud busy main strip, and walking distance to everything: Ala Moana mall, beaches, shopping, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Starbucks and Red Lobster right downstairs ~ but this particular unit is so nice because it is on a corner with windows wrapping around to provide wonderful views of waves, all the marina happenings, and the Friday night fireworks. We also really love the quality appliances, plush furniture, and nicely stocked kitchen. We consider this condo "our" Honolulu home and look forward to our next stay.

My wife & I always enjoy staying at the Illikai Annex building (I first enjoyed this place in 1977 - still going there). 1180 is the nicest setting so far. The "end unit" views are spectacular. My only concern was the washer/dryer not working, but I'm sure that was just unlucky timing. We'll be back again soon.

We usually stay in a hotel, but it seemed like this would be a better deal and have views of the beach. It was! The views from our room were amazing, in fact we had to go to Diamond Head or the Aloha Tower to get a better view. It cost us more to park than to rent the car, but the parking here was less expensive than every other place we checked. We had a number of drives around the island. In 15 minutes you can walk just about anywhere. Everything about this room was just as represented. There is a washer and dryer, but you have to get your own soap. We found the Wal-Mart on the first day and stocked up. Some of the previous tennants have left some items that they overbought and we left a few things too. I hope someone liked my Heineken. Everyone seems to overbuy on coffee. We enjoyed opening the windows and letting the sun shine in. Would I rent this condo again, sure, but it probably won't be available. This is probably the best deal on this end of the beach.

Wonderfully appointed studio condo with plenty of space for two. Large windows and sliding glass patio doors with great views of the Marina. Kitchen and bar areas perfect for entertaining, and the living room area lovely and relaxing. King canopy bed was comfortable and welcoming. Very small lanai was nice for standing to watch the boats but too small to use for much else. Very convenient walking distance to bus stops, the mall, Waikiki beach, the Hale Koa, and numerous restaurants.
