Enjoyable
Being this the first time to Hawaii I found the friendliness of the people and ease to get around O'aho from the Ilikai Hotel was excellent. Love the condo view of the Harbour from the lani and the sunsets were gorgeous. Ilikai Hotel is keep clean as is the condo we stayed in. Great stay!
Absolutly wonderful!!
First of all I would like to say that dealing with Kathaleen Petron was a pleasure,she made sure everything was perfect from the reservation to the end of our stay there,we were treated like gold in the the ilikai,everybody was very friendly,the condo was beautiful,very clean and comfortable,the view from rm833 is beautiful,and the location was great,everything was within walking distance,were so looking forward to staying there again next march,thank you Kathaleen ,Mahalo!! Wonderful view
This condo was comfortable but needed a "Spring cleaning" on the furniture, The toilet was sluggish. Great view tho.
Great Xmas Stay
Well laid out and decorated condo, very comfortable with good view of yacht harbour. Facing west, sunset views and not too hot during the day. Excellent handling of reservation and check-in instructions. Two very minor issues kept review from being fully excellent, but these were fixed very quickly with a call to the condo service number. Easy walking distance to alawai shopping centre or to Waikiki beach - a favourite morning walk was along the beach for a coffee. Kitchen island was too low to be comfortable as counter space for preparing meals but OK for eating etc.
Honolulu Marathon stay
We stayed at unit 833 wich is very conveniently located to the marathon start. The arrangements for entry into the unit were good and we had no hassles at all.It is an older unit but it was clean and comfortable. I would recommend it
Good introduction to Honolulu
Great location. Easy walking access to Waikiki Beach. Room was a bit dated, but clean. Has boogie boards, snorkeling equipment and umbrellas to use. Great view of the harbor and southern end of the city.
Fantastic Stay!!
We were so happy to stay here. It is close to everything, very clean and quiet. Thank you Kat for helping me find this wonderful condo!! Will be happy to recommend this condo to everyone. Convenient, great view, great kitchen and great location. Not to mention a great price!
Very comfortable stay
Quiet - no street noise, walking distance to ala moana, good sized kitchen, fairly spacious. Only criticism would be the high cleaning costs. These amount to 125 dollars per week for a one hour clean and are a tad out there.Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed it
Relaxing
Loved the condo and the view, could have used more towels for showers, also needs shades for deck as afternoon sun was very intense.
Excellent
Loved the condo key arrangement, no checking in procedure or having to worry if our flight is late. #833 was very nice. Our only suggestion is to check out the toilet, as it doesn't flush very well. We would certainly stay in the unit again and will recommend it to our friends.
Great Value
The entire experience was without incident. I have stayed at the Ilikai Hotel many times in the past because of its location I have never stayed in a privately owned condo. I stopped staying in the hotel when the addition was started (I am disappointed in the property as a hotel but I will return to #833 if it is available the next time I am in Honolulu.
Great location - lots of extras
We were thrilled to find how close we were to the Hilton Lagoon - wonderful swimming for young children. The condo had some water toys on the balcony which were very much appreciated. A full kitchen - large fridge and large oven really helps when you have to feed young children - not always in restaurants. We also really liked using a code to access our condo - no worry about lost keys.

Fresh and Remodeled! 5 Stars!!
This is a wonderful, recently, remodeled condo. The new hardwood floors feel so good to walk on with bare feet and the old wallpaper has been removed throughout. The walls are freshly painted with a very nice, cool beige. The condo is immaculate and the marina view is spectacular. The entry instructions are easy and with the automatic lock on the door, you don't have to worry about losing any keys while at the beach. By the way, the beach is literally just a few minutes walk and you don't even have to cross the street. The Ilikai building itself is on the same side of the ocean, which is a big plus. The Ilikai Bar & Grill is a great place to grab breakfast or lunch on the way to the beach at a reasonable price. There is also a local coffee shop that recently opened on the lobby floor and the restaurant, Sarento's on top of the Ilikai is a great dinner place with an expansive view of Waikiki, Diamond Head and Honolulu. On Friday nights, the outdoor lobby/lanai has Hawaiian music and a hula show for the guest's entertainment. There is even a fireworks show that shoots off from the lagoon. Everyone was friendly and the property manager answered any questions I had promptly. Best of all is the stunning sunset view from the 833 lanai. For the location, price, view and condition, this condo is a 5 star gem!

Christmas at the Ilikai
I really like the location of the Ilikai. I travel for business reasons and this is such a perfect location to the beach for fun activities, shopping, and very close to convention centers. The staff at the Ilikai are very helpful. Parking is expensive - yet very nice to have someone bring my car to me and park it daily. Its FuN to be plush now and then. Cheers!

The condo has a view that is second to no other, it was kept in an immacculate condition, with all the utensils in a kitchen that you could imagine. Pool was spacious and open and distance to the beach was a short 5-7 minute walk. Overall we will be looking to rent again in 2011.
Clean & Comfortable with a Great View
I stayed in this unit for 3 nights in September. The value would be great for a longer stay, but the cleaning charge and extended check in/out charges made it a more expensive option than I had originally planned. I really enjoyed the stay in the unit, though - lots of space, clean and comfortable, and a view to die for. The location was a fair distance from the downtown area, but trolley buses run past the door every 10 mins and cost $2 per trip. For serious shoppers a 10 minute walk will get you to the ala Moana Shopping Centre. Make sure you stay on a Friday night to watch the hotel luau show from the balcony and then take a short stroll to the beach where the Hilton has a weekly fireworks show.
Absolutely Fantastic
Beautiful as usual, stayed on 1904 a couploe of weeks ago, just as beautiful, sunny, bright, large, super view, would not hesitate to stay in this unit again. Awesome...will be back
Excellent Location, Beautiful View, Great Value!
The view from this unit looks directly over the harbor and the ocean with gorgeous sunset views from the lanai. The new flatscreen tv is great and we enjoyed using the new dishwasher and new coffeemaker. The unit is supplied with beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler and a new body board, similar to a boogie board. The free wireless internet was very useful during our stay and easy to use. There are also plenty of wine glasses for enjoying a relaxing evening on the lanai, while watching the hula show below on Friday nights. The two cordless telephones are convenient when two people want to share their wonderful Hawaiian experience with family and friends using the free U.S. and Canada long distance calling. Everyone we came in contact with at the Ilikai was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this unit and location!
excellent location and beautiful view
My family stayed in this condo for 25 days this summer. It had a beautiful harbor view and from its lanai we could see hula show every fridays. On the Independance Day, we could see fabulous fireworks on our lanai whitout waiting outside for a long time. The building was very secure and we could use free wifi in our room. Just the construction noise from next building for the new swimming pools annoyed us when we stayed in the condo during the day, but it was almost finished when we had to leave. The location of the condo was also excellent. We could walk to the ala moana shopping center for shopping or our meals. Just across the street, there was Mcdonald and aBC store and also many nice restaurants. The rent-a- car office was across the street, taxis were always waiting in front of the building and the tour buses also came there for pick-up. We also stayed in Hilton Hawaiian Village for two nights and also liked the place, but Ilikai was a good value.
Totaly recommend
It's simple, easy, accurate and when you reserve the unit you don't have to wait for a confirmation of availability, like some other. You reserve it, you have it. The unit are #1,very nice and clean. The person at the Ilikai are very friendly and helpfull. Totaly recommend it and it's sure I'll choose aloha Condos when i'll comeback to hawaii.
