Deposit and Payment

  • A Non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total rental amount must be received to confirm a reservation
  • Full payment of the rental balance due is required no less than 30 days prior to the checkin date.
  • A security deposit of $250 is also required and will be authorized on your credit card 7 days prior to arrival. A charge may result for damage to the condo, missing contents, keys, or for exceeding the number of allowed overnight guests. CALL THE LOCAL CONTACT IMMEDIATELY IF THERE ARE ANY ACCIDENTS OR DAMAGES TO THE CONDO OR INVENTORY DURING YOUR STAY. Monica Tavares at 808-384-1069



  • Reservation deposit is non-refundable
  • Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the checkin date can have the deposit applied to a stay at the same Aloha Condos property within one year of the original checkin date.
  • Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to checkin will forfeit all deposits
  • Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to checkin will forfeit all deposits and rental balance due payments


Cleaning Fees

  • All stays have a checkout cleaning fee of $135. Stays of more than 12 days have additional mandatory interim cleaning fees of $135. For example, if you had reserved the condo for 14 days, there would be one interim cleaning 1/2 through your stay, as well as the checkout cleaning after you checkout.


Checkin and Checkout Times

  • Checkin time is 3pm or after. As we often have guests departing the day you arrive we cannot allow early checkin or storage of luggage before 3pm on the day of arrival unless prior arrangements have been made. ( Please use the Early Check in Feature at the time of booking)
  • Checkout time is 11am. As we often have guests arriving the day you depart we cannot allow late checkout or storage of luggage before 3pm on the day of arrival unless prior arrangements have been made. ( Please use the Late Check out Feature at the time of booking)

General Policies

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in the condo or on the condo lanai
  • No pets of any kind are allowed in the condo or on the condo lanai.
  • We allow a maximum of 4 overnight guests in the condo
  • Please do not feed the birds from the lanai.
  • Bath towels are not allowed to be taken out of the unit.  Please use beach towels provided.
  • Potential Extra Fees upon check-out --Replacement cost for any missing/broken/damaged items or if any Extra cleaning is required.
  • We do our very best to have the units clean and in proper working order for your arrival.  Should there be any cleaning or maintenance problems please call your on-island contact at your first opportunity.  We require the opportunity to rectify any problems and will do so in a reasonable amount of time.












The condo was absolutely perfect. Well equipped to cook meals there and beautiful finishes. I will absolutely stay again. A couple things: I read past reviews and the following were not addressed from before. The pillows were really flat and the lamp closest to the bathroom did still flicker but not constantly. a couple new items: the hand towels/washcloths were stained the shampoo seemed to be watered down to fill the container. a wiping of the lanai rails free of bird poop would be nice there was a lot but those are so minor. I already recommended a friend coming to town to check it out. I am local so I will surely be staycationing there again!

The Ilikai  is located on the north end of Waikiki Beach, directly in front of the Ala Wai small boat harbor. You can see Waikiki Beach and the Hilton beach and lagoon from your lanai. Walk down the Ilikai ramp and you are at the ocean! Take a morning jog or a sunset stroll on the beach walk.  Ala Moana Park, a local favorite, is less than a 10-minute walk away.  Parking is available at the Ilikai.   However, we recommend that you take a shuttle from the airport which will drop you off right in front of the Ilikai.  Everything is within walking distance: Beaches, restaurants, fast food eateries, shopping centers, grocery stores, ATM's, banks, and much more. The bus stop is at the corner and cabs are always in front of the hotel.  Car rentals are available across the street when you are ready to take a drive around the island.  Aloha!

This was the third time staying in Unit 828 and as always, it didn't disappoint! This unit is exactly as it appears and is very clean, beautiful and comfortable. The view from the lanai is awesome and it's the perfect location to watch the Hilton fireworks on the beach on Friday nights. The Ilikai is a great location and this unit is set up with everything to make your stay great! We will again stay in the unit on our next trip to Hawaii!

828 was Great!

This was my third time to stay at an Ilikai condo. The location and amenities can't be beat. Of the three condos I've stayed at, this one was the best. I have absolutely nothing but praise for #828. It was very clean, had the basic necessities and made an ideal home-away-from-home. I recommend this condo whole-heartedly and hope to stay there again.

I love hawaii

We loved staying at the ilikai room 828. All excellent except the air conditioner needs re gasing or replacing as it is not cool enough. We were hot even with the airconditioner on and all doors closed.we would definately book again when next in waikiki.Aloha to aloha condosLisa and James

Thank you for the review you have posted.  We are sorry to hear that the air conditioning was not working well while you were there.  This past season the air conditioners have had to work overtime with the hot summer/fall and we have had to have extra maintenance and service call to maintain them.  We wish you would have let us know as we do respond to any issues that may arise immediately.
