Excellent stay!
Loved it! Great room..plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids. Kitchen was perfect with everything needed to include coffee pot, toaster, microwave, stove, oven...The view of the beach and the Lagoon are incredible. Would stay here again!
First time visit was relaxing,friendly and comfortable.
Good service from the taxi from the airport,shops and restaurants right through to the Island Express Shuttle ride back to the airport. Condo 1424 was ideal for us (2),comfortable with good amenities for us to prepare own food if required. Nice and clean with a great view. Very central for our holiday requirements (close to shops and beach and a million aBC Stores) The laundry was real handy (just have sufficient quarters for the machine which the Ilikai Hotel reception will oblige with). The staff and concierge were all helpful and friendly. We also booked our Pearl Harbour through the concierge. The location of the Ilikai Hotel/Condos were ideal for us as we could escape the bustle (and hustle) of Waikiki. We found when walking in the CBD there that slowing down in front of brochure cabinets was not good as trip and happy hour sellers seemed to spring out of nowhere. Maybe we had "Tourist" stamped on our forheads. Still all part of the experience. Also the beach is not as busy at the Ilikai end. The Lagoon and Friday Fireworks are a must. Will definitely plan to stay at or near condo 1424 next visit.
Wonderful Experience!
We loved our time in Room 1424 at the Ilikai Hotel. The condo provided everything we needed to make our own meals. We found the condo very cozy! We would stay here again when we come back to Hawaii! Very nice location-- close to malls and nice restaurants. Mahalo aloha Condos (you are great to deal with) The only thing I would suggest might be to replace loungers and water equipment as they are kind of worn.
Great view, location and accommodations
We loved the view and the location of this condo. It's close to several restaurants or you can prepare your own meals and enjoy dinner on the lanai. And if you like shopping...the ala Moana Mall is only a 5 minute walk. The bed was awesome!! The only thing I would like to see is a little better quality deck chairs. We spend a lot of time on the lanai enjoying the view and the chairs are not very comfortable or sturdy, especially after sitting in the hot sun in the afternoon. Overall...would definitely stay in this unit again. Mahalo.
Great stay
We stayed at 1424 for 10 days and it was awesome. My friend stayed next door at the hilton and I am so glad we stayed here. We looked at staying at the hilton but it would have been at least $250 a night and that is with no kitchen. By staying in 1424 we saved $100 a night plus all the food that we cooked in the room. We were still able to look around the hilton, which wasn't anything special. It's very overcrowded there. At the ilikai the pool is nothing special but for our 10 month old it was perfect. Especially for the fact that she ate sand every time we went to the beach. Also for the fact that it was not crowded.everyone just wanted to sun tan on the chairs. It was only once we could t find any chairs but that's because we got there midday. We made a Walmart stop at the beginning of our holiday and got most of our groceries. Its just north of ala moana shopping centre. I reccomend that you get your produce from the markets as Walmart doesn't have any produce. The view from the room is amazing. It has a huge lanai(balcony) on it. You can see the luau almost every night. But you can not see the fireworks. I am glad we were there for two Fridays because the first Friday I went by someone's review and missed the whole firework show. We saw a couple whales and a bunch of dolphins by zooming in with my video camera from the balcony which was really cool. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. There is all the posts and pans you will need. There is a blender. Kay was very accommodating and made sure that we had everything. Thank you for the amazing holiday. We will be back soon.

Everything I need was there
I started my vacation life very smoothly and had a wonderful stay there. Facilities of the room were satisfactory to me. Everything I needed was there - from sunshine and ocean breeze to a colander. I loved clean and cozy atmosphere of this room. I was also very much satisfied with its cost performance. As I don't drive, it was very convenient to me that ala Moana Shopping Center is within a walking distance and that both buses and trolleys stop just in front of Ilikai Hotel. (FYI) there is no change machine at the laundry room, but one around the front desk on the lobby floor. You may get enough quarters without visiting a bank.
Excellent view, location and condition
The unit was a great value for the money and was great condition. The ocean view was as good as it gets. And the location was great for going to a park, malll or taking the trolley down to Duke's.
Business and Pleasure
Was working on Oahu for the month of September. Family came down for a long weekend to visit so I rented Ilikai 1424 for their stay. What a wonderful surprise. Excellent view, very clean and well kept. Also the rental experience was great with aloha Condos. For me the Ilikai is in the perfect location right next to HHV and easy walk to ala Moana Shopping Center. Parking worked fine whether I used the in house valet or the public parking behind behind the building. There was always space available. My only complaint would be that 1424 was not available for the rest of my stay. For my next trip back to Oahu my first order of business will be to book Ilikai 1424. All I can say is if 1424 is available, book it!!
Great Ocean View!
I loved this condo. Gorgeous ocean view! Thanks for the beach toys also. Saved money on snorkel tours by using the snorkel provided with the room! Each evening is a Luau on the roof of the next building, great view from the balcony!
Perfect!
Perfect location, can't be beat! The condo is exactly the way the pictures depict it. No surprises! Everything as listed in the description of this condo is true to a "t". Convenience of the beach being right outside your door is a plus. The lagoon nearby was wonderful! I found parking in the parking lot "A" just adjacent to the ramp leading to the hotel is most economical. A little walk but I needed it after eating all the great tasting foods Hawaii has to offer. Beleive me, I'm not complaining.:) I was very pleased with the prompt actions taken by Kat. Had a few minor questions that were answered in a very short time. This is always appreciated when on vacation. Mahalo Kat for your professionalism. Very much appreciated. Washer/Dryer down the hall worked well. Be sure to get a roll of quarters, this is enough to do two loads of laundry at $2.50 each. A change machine would be a nice added convenience. Oh, nice to have seen security guards making their rounds on the property. Made me feel safer coming in at a later hour at night. The scenery from this room is perfect. Watched the surfers do their thing! Very enjoyable. Perfect for having breakfast on the lanai. No morning sun on you but this is what makes it comfortable. Fireworks every Friday night. Great view, very relaxing.
When we walked in it was very nice up to date, nice amenities great view. Needs a few more hooks or shelving in shower and floors a little squeaky. But over all very nice.
Amazing view and location!!! Beautiful condo too!
Where to start? This condo was fantastic. The kitchen is perfect, the bed was beyond comfortable and our 11 year old twins had no problem sharing the futon couch. The lanai was ideal for meals in, but the Ilikai Bar and Grill was cheap and good for eating out. The location was also fantastic. Close to everything yet out of the way. The kids loved the paddle boards, paddle boats and canoes in the lagoon which was a quick commute next door. Car rental is right across the street so there was no need to keep one the entire time and it was easy to find the cheap parking out behind the hotel. Thank you to Kat for answering my questions and for making this such a great vacation. We will be back! Ps-the free luau you get to watch next door from the lanai Sunday through Thursday is a crackup. Grab a cocktail and enjoy for free!
Great Stay
This was my first time using a condo rental, so I was a little nervous about it at first. Once we arrived in Hawaii and saw the condo, we were blown away. It is a great place with everything we needed as well as a great ocean view. Everything was how the pictures online showed it to be. We had no problems during our stay. It was a great place to stay for our first time in Hawaii on our honeymoon.
Well appointed and comfortable
The condo has new tasteful, welcoming and comfortable furnishings with a well stocked kitchen. Everything in the unit worked and passwords were provided for internet etc. The lanai was clean and provided new furniture to enjoy the great ocean view (especially of the sailing races) while having breakfast or coctails. The location provides easy access to the beach, parks, shopping, gym and restaurants.
Another wonderful time - not long enough
This was our second stay in this unit. This was a 3 week stay. Great ocean views,comfortable unit,close to shopping,beach,public transportation. Did not need a car to get around. Just far enough away from busy tourist area to not be in the rush, but close enough to walk to. Very comfortable for a couple or a family with small children. Keyless entry makes it trouble free. Very easy rental company to work with.
Great holiday
I would not have booked one room for 4 adults if I had known how small 1424 was. The pictures on the internet do not convey this. The hair dryer supplied ended up shorting out all the power points in the bathroom and kitchen. This happened on the Friday before we left so I left a note. Location was great and the view amazing.
Wonderful!
Our stay on Oahu was enhanced by our wonderful accommodations in condo 1424. Very easy to book the condo, and we received our check in info about a week before we actually arrived, which was perfect. The view from the condo was amazing, the nightly luau next door and fireworks were such a treat. The location is great, a beautiful walk to Waikiki Beach and restaurants and shops. Upon first walking into the condo, our first impression was clean and cool. We couldn't hear any of our neighbors, the walls are very nicely sound insulated. We wouldn't hesitate to book this condo again if our travels bring us to Oahu once more.

Awesome condo, great location
The condo was well equipped with a great view of the lagoon and beach. The furniture is very comfortable, especially the bed, and the kitchen is modern and has everything you need. The beach gear was also a plus. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach and lagoon and is very close to shops, and there are plenty of great eating options nearby. There's a lot of different parking options but we went with the hotel valet which was kind of steep, but well worth every penny...very convenient at the end of a long evening or adventure filled day. My only suggestion would be to have another mirror somewhere outside of the bathroom. We were there for a friend's wedding so getting ready with 1 mirror was tough, but the bathroom is very roomy so it worked out well anyway. We had some friends over 1 evening and they were impressed with the condo too. Communication with the owner was easy and she made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely stay there again!
Great location
This was a delightful condo right on Waikiki, with easy access to everything, especially the lagoon and the beach. Has the best bed in the world!
Fantastic View and Great Location!
Aloha! We were impressed: with the location, view and Kat's service. The condo itself had everything we needed to feel right at home. What a beautiful kitchen. We felt like we were just the right distance from everything. Exceptional view! Just a few suggestions for improvement: the bedspread I feel should be replaced and it might help to replace the curtains as they appear tired. But, overall we enjoyed our stay immensely. You can be certain we will return to the Ilikai if not to this condo but another. It would be a delightful to work with Kat again. Mahalo!

Keyless entry a great plus. Unit has great views, confortable bed, nice decor buts needs a couple of improvements. Will make another reservation.
Excellent view and comfortable condo
The condo is clean and comfortable overall. The view is excellent and the condo is centrally located. We appreciate the wifi in the condo. The couch is a little uncomfortable for sitting (it's a futon couch) and the noise from the nightly luau at the Hilton is unpleasant sometimes. The condo is an excellent value.

Perfect for this family of 3
Location, location, location. Let's just start with that. It is perfect. Close to everything, shuttles, the pink line shuttles, walking distance to the beach, Ala Moana shopping, etc. We loved the clean and updated suite that contained everything we needed in the kitchen to enjoy breakfast smoothies and late night snacks. We could have cooked a full dinner, but we found the local eating establishments so numerous and tempting that we just kept eating out!!! Sorentos, the restaurant at the top of the Ilikai, was a real treat, too. Pricey, but the views and service are worth it. The bed is tre' comfy and we had enough towels for the whole week with a couple to spare. The views are spectacular, too. I highly recommend this particular suite, but would expect any of the condos represented by aloha condos to be just as wonderful.
Great room
The room was great. Clean and well kept. Nice furnishings. The view and location was also very nice. From the window you can see the ocean. Hang out and watch the waves. We could also walk to the beach in minutes and took many early morning strolls. The parking is a little pricy since it's primarily valet but it was actually kind of nice just dropping the car off and running up to the room without the hassle of looking for a spot. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend it to a friend.
Excellent!
This condo has it all. Top location, nice views and all of the amenities of the Ilikai hotel. However, I would not reccommend this for four adults. To be honest, we had an adult son with us and he slept on the couch that made into a small bed. Two small children would be fine. The unit itself was immaculate, the view is unbelievable and the Illikai is older, but it is Hawaiiana. I started traveling to this hotel in the mid 60's as a child and lived in Hawaii for many years. The location, the view, the clean well- stocked kitchen make this a beautiful stay. I would not reccommend this unit for 4 adults though. The price was great and we loved it- the three of us!

I really enjoyed staying at the condo. Everything was well provided and very comfortable. Location great and close to restaurants and Ala Moana Center. Would definitely stay there again. I did not particularly like the pool area too much concrete but had to use it as box jellyfish were at the beaches. Newcomers may feel a bit helpless but there is a travel desk in the lobby.
This unit is exactly as pictured and described.
We found Aloha Condo Rentals to be very businesslike and accomodating. We were coming off a cruise and were able to get in a few hours early and thus did not have to sit around waiting. Rocco answered all of our questions promptly. The unit was a great place to stay. It is well equipped and the view was spectacular. The futon in the living area is, however, quite a poor excuse for a couch. The Ilikai is in a great location and we were able to walk the the shopping centre as well as downtown Waikiki. If we were returning to Hawaii next year,we would not hesitate to deal with Aloha Condos and would love to stay in this unit again.
Modern and spacious
The room was very nicely decorated, spacious and clean. I love the beautiful views from the balcony. The booking process was fast and Rocco was very accomidating. He worked with me all the way. Will definatel stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ilikai 1424 for just over two-weeks. The condo was well equipped to meet our needs with a great location and a beautiful view. The updates to the unit are modern and make the space very pleasant. We have a 2-year old son. The unit was fine for us, but the balcony railings made us nervous. Unlike many newer balconies that are designed without cross-bars, the balconies at the Ilikai can be climbed on by an active toddler. The swimming pool at the Ilikai is adequate, but the lagoon at the Hilton Hawaiian Village is just a few steps away and is wonderful. Rocco was attentive to our needs and incredibly responsive when we had questions. We would definitely stay there again.
Great View
Overall, the apartment condo 1424 is perfect for four people. It has a great view. It is clean. The price is right (we went in Dec. 2009). It does need to supply more big trash bags and an extra roll of paper towel. Other than that, it is an awesome place to stay for a family of four. Also the apartment is quiet and peaceful.

What a great view and location.
It was very easy to rent the unit. The home was well kept and the furnishings were nice. The location was quiet but still close to the core area. The view was great and the worst thing was having to leave!
Nice little apartment
Employees from our company stay at the Ilikai when in Hawaii. Condo 1424 is modern bright and great for a single/couple, a bit tight for a family. The views of the ocean from the bed are beautiful and a nice way to start each day. The building is getting old and tired but the staff are helpful. There is only valet parking under the building which is great if you don't mind paying for it ($18/day). The Hilton complex next door provides plenty of shopping and dining facilities and a free view of the Luau Sunday thru Thursdays. There is also fireworks every friday night.
breathtaking view and wonderful condo
We stayed in condo #1424 and could not have been happier. The view was just paradise and the condo was delightfully furnished and very clean. I have nothing negative to say about my experience with Aloha Condos. They were very professional and easy to deal with. I would not hesitate to use them again for a vacation and I would stay in #1424 again without hesitation. Beautiful hotel. Great staff. Check out the CHEAP parking in the rear lot. Saves you a bundle and so convenient.
Beautiful View Day and Night
We just spent an amazing week in Condo 1424 at the Ilikai. The Ilikai is a great location, not right in the noise of Waikiki central but close enough to walk, catch The Bus or a cab and be there in minutes. A short walk to Ala Moana shopping centre and right on the bus stops. The condo has a gorgeous view of the Hilton lagoon and the ocean, It is only a very short walk to the beach and all it has to offer. The condo was nicely appointed,decorated and well equipped. The Ilikai is currently undergoing significant renovation to it's main pool and one condo block, this is well screened off and most of the courtyard is still accessible , lit up, gardens well kept. The Friday night activities and BBQ that precede the fireworks is well worth a look. We would definitely rent this condo again. Cheers
Great Clean Condo, Wonderful View!
What a great condo, very clean, close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. It was well equipped with a beautiful view of the ocean. I enjoyed my stay and I would highly recommend it. I would stay there again. Just make sure that you get a hold of Rocco Consulting before you arrive. We did not have the code for the room when we arrived nor a phone number in our confirmation email from Rocco Consulting. They did not follow up with us or provide a code for the room. Thank goodness that the hotel was able to assist in locating Rocco Consulting to obtain the code. Once we got in the condo, everything was fabulous! :)

Great Location ! Clean
I wanted a great location and I got it, I wanted a clean place as I have small children, I got it. This unit was clean and had a great working kitchen with a dishwasher. I could have not been any happier with this unit, a wonderful view was included! Will stay there again
What a wonderful trip!
We stayed in room 1424 at the Ilikai. What a wonderful room.Very clean room and stocked with everything you need,a real home away from home.Bathroom shower could use a little renovating. Every morning we had a beautiful view of the ocean. Such a short walking distance to the beach and many wonderful shops and eating places. Will definetly return one day but not until we try the other islands but will definetly book with Aloha Condos. If all the agents that book these condos and provide service like ours did we will definetly not hesitate to book and recommend this place to anyone.
