Nohonani Condos and Resort 205, Lahaina Maui

Great stay

First time to Maui, the condo was the glue that held the trip together the first few days while we got our bearings. Having it located right on the water with a small sandy beach in front was awesome! The neighborhood is cool too, walked... more to get food and felt super safe the whole time - even parking I never had a worry of someone trying to break in or anything like that. There is only one window AC, in the living room - bedrooms were so hot at night I personally had to sleep on the couch. BUT! there are such amazing breezes that cone through the condo it made up for the lack of AC. The architect designed the place with a breeze in mind!! Would stay here again and woud recommend to my people too! less

Amazing Location and Enjoyable Stay

My son and I stayed here for the first part of our Maui vacation in May 2026. We really didn't spend a ton of time in the condo or make much use of the amenities, as we were busy exploring Maui. We really liked the... more location - within walking distance to a nearby park, several restaurants, the food truck park, ABC store, and more. The beach at the condo is pretty special - we saw turtles in the water and/or on the beach every day and were able to snorkel. We managed to be there for a few spectacular sunsets and enjoyed the people nearby blowing the Pū. The condo is nicely appointed and, although we did not cook (other than making coffee), the kitchen contained everything you would need. Make sure to look through the binder in the condo, as there is a lot of interesting information there. We didn't use the pool, but it always looked clean and uncrowded. The complex itself is very quiet. We made use of the washer and dryer in the unit, as we were able to wash everything before the second week of our trip. The only issue I can foresee is with regard to the air conditioning. If you absolutely need air conditioning, I'm not sure how effective it is in this unit. We turned it on briefly to cool the place down when we first arrived, but it didn't seem to be doing much. We were comfortable with the fans and windows open, so it really wasn't an issue for us other than the early morning wakeup calls from the chickens, which is just part of being in Hawaii. Overall, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the condo. We would definitely stay here again! less

Amazing Accommodation!

Two lifelong friends stayed in Condo 205 April 18-25, 2026. The unit and grounds are as pictured ... picture perfect in our opinion. Everything one could need was provided. We enjoyed our coffee on the oceanfront balcony overlooking the Pacific Ocean, providing views of the... more neighboring islands of Molokai and Lanai and stunning sunsets. We loved seeing the green sea turtles (Honu) and a monk seal swimming directly in front of Nohonani and whales jumping in the distance. On two separate days we were blessed when a monk seal and a sea turtle came ashore to sleep in the afternoon. The water was lovely with a private sandy beach and sand path into the ocean. You definitely still need water shoes as there is coral all around which offers decent snorkeling and brings in the sealife. The water is fairly shallow when the tide is out so you can walk a bit or simply float. Some days are wavier than others. The condo was clean, provided plenty of towels (beach and bath), comfortable beds and good water pressure with plenty of hot water. There is an A/C unit in the living room but we never needed it as there are a number of working fans. Recommend lowering the sun shades on the balcony to minimize heat from the sun in the later afternoon. Plenty of onsite 'free' parking which was a bonus as we had a rental car for the week. There is a lovely gift store, an ABC convenience store and a wonderful fish market within close walking distance. We purchased fresh fish and utilized the onsite shared barbecues, which worked perfectly, to cook a few dinners. There was nothing about Nohonani Condos we didn't love! less
