Deposit and Payment

A Non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total rental amount must be received to confirm a reservation

Full payment of the rental balance due is required no less than 30 days prior to the checkin date.

A security deposit of $250 is also required and will be authorized on your credit card 7 days prior to arrival. A charge may result for damage to the condo, missing contents, keys or for exceeding the number of allowed overnight guests.

Cancellations

Reservation deposit is non-refundable

Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the checkin date can have the deposit applied to a stay at the same Aloha Condos property within one year of the original checkin date.

Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to checkin will forfeit all deposits

Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to checkin will forfeit all deposits and rental balance due payments 

 

We enjoyed a lovely week at Nohonani #103. Wonderful ocean & beach front location - it was literally steps to a sandy beach where we could swim with the turtles. Love the layout of this 1-bedroom unit, with the bedroom on the beach side. Kitchen was small, but serviceable. Tile flooring throughout unit was also wonderful. TV sets in living room and bedroom had been upgraded over those in the online photos - a nice surprise. My only complaint is that the fact that a failing sea wall had caused some sink holes on the property and this was not disclosed to us until after our final payment went through - even though the owner was well aware of the situation at the time that we booked. An Aloha Condos online booking site representative sent a photo of the sink hole promptly in response to our request, and the owner cut $20 per night off the originally booked rate without asking due to the inconvenience caused by the sink hole - there was temporary fencing around the lanai that obstructed our view somewhat when seated and prevented us from using a lawn area. The owner also offered to refund our money entirely, which we considered, but we were unable to find comparable accommodations with less than 30 days notice. When we first found out about the sink hole, we were concerned that the structural integrity of the building might be compromised before we arrived, leaving us with nowhere to stay. As it turned out, the failing sea wall was not a significant problem. It may even have been an advantage in the case of #103 because a sink hole had taken out a walking path right outside the bedroom window, so we got more privacy than we would have otherwise. Last we heard, work to repair the failing sea wall is scheduled to begin on 3/23/2015. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Nohonani #103 very much - clean, comfortable, well-appointed, great location, watched giant sea turtles swimming and sunning themselves on the beach nearly every day. Also a great view for whale watching in season. Only suggestions for improvement I have would be to provide an in-room safe for visitors and a small drying rack or some hooks on the lanai for swimsuits and towels.

Great place to stay

We were very pleased with our condo rental, very clean. I liked that the washer and dryer were right across from our unit. Very convenient, yet we did not have to hear it or have it take up space in the condo. The grounds were lovely. Very close to the water. The goodies were an unexpected surprise! We enjoyed checking each day to see how many turtles were visiting. It was a new experience to read in a lounge chair on the beach and have a turtle keep me company(though we did not get too close). It was within walking distance of several good places to eat as well as the farmer's market.

We stayed here for about a week in mid September. The unit was nicely furnished, and a wonderful gift basket surprised us, great touch by the owner! We enjoyed staying here since it was right in front of the pool area and had great access to the beach. The communal shower was in front of the unit but it was not a negative at all, everyone was cordial and polite and there was not a lot of foot traffic like some of the others have complained about. The bed was also very comfy and falling asleep to the waves were amazing. However, it could be a little loud for some people. My only complaint was the lack of AC as it was in the 90's and very humid when we stayed. I actually had trouble staying cool as the fans in the unit were just not cool enough for the extreme weather. It was out of the ordinary, but keep that in mind if you book this unit.

Truly oceanfront with resident turtles
