Napili Bay Resort 218, Lahaina Maui

Private, restful, gorgeous views, great amenities

You're in for a real treat with Condo #218--set back from the water, it has a quiet, jungle-like quality with a super-private lanai. You can still see and hear the water/ocean but being back a bit is serene and calming. (We've stayed in an ocean-front... more condo before at The Napili Bay Resort and couldn't sleep with the surf pounding all night). The condo comes with beach chairs and boogie boards, a small cooler amongst other things, and we were greeted with a fabulous gift basket with local chocolates, coffee, cookies, bottled water, etc. I especially appreciate the owners: we were originally scheduled to take this trip in May, 2022, but I was hit with appendicitis two days before our trip, and had to cancel due to surgery. The owners allowed us to reschedule--they did not have to do this, so my husband and I are so grateful for their generosity. The unit also had great internet connectivity, a comfy bed, a kitchen with great appliances, etc. Beach access a few paces away makes this a fabulous option for people seeking a quiet, relaxing vacation. less

Affordable, comfortable studio

Nicely appointed, small studio, great location in small resort right on Napili Bay. Unit is not beachfront, but has a nice balcony heavily shaded by palms giving it a bit of a 'jungle' feel with an offset ocean view. Being back from the waterfront is... more a good thing given the hustle and bustle of Napili beach. This is a second floor unit with no elevators or air conditioning. The latter means afternoons can be hot and muggy but louvered windows allow it to cool quickly at night. The flooring is tile throughout and the bathroom is nicely renovated with a walk in shower (no tub). The ceilings are low so watch the overhead fan. No problem with parking. All in all a very nice unit in an older, but well cared for resort and a very reasonable price for this outrageously pricey area. Interaction with the owners was pleasant and timely, and a gift basket on arrival was a nice touch. less

Perfect Retreat on a Wonderful Beach

Napili Beach Resort is located on Maui’s northwest coastline along a beautiful, crescent, sand beach with shallow waters protected by an off-shore reef, offering safe ocean swimming with additional snorkeling in nearby bays. The resort is an older, 2-storey Hawaiian character condo development consisting of... more 3 separate buildings with 36 single-loaded studio units offering accessed off rear, exterior walkways plus a separate laundry building, a covered BBQ area and group dining tables for larger gatherings. The resort is conveniently located near the Kapalua Golf Course with its tennis and pickle ball courts, the Napili Market offering groceries and a few retail shops as well as 2 nearby fine dining oceanside restaurants. This studio condo is the perfect vacation retreat with a slot view of the ocean but buffered from the noise of daytime beachfront activity and nighttime waves. The owners and housekeeping staff take meticulous care to ensure the condo is well furnished and provisioned including beach chairs and bogie boards. The lanai features a tall table with chairs and is screened from the neighbouring condo development by an adjacent stream and lush tropical vegetation. The bathroom area was recently renovated including a large shower area. less
