The condo is big, nicely maintained, and very well stocked. The resort itself is very quiet at night. The unit seems to be quite sound proof because we didn't hear anything from the units beside or above us. The resort has cheap gear rental. It's not right on the water. But it's only one third of a mile to Kahaluu Beach Park. The resort staff are very friendly.

This is a very nice condo and is well equipped for your visit. Just bring a bathing suit because everything else is there. Nice and quiet, pleasant golf course view,two lanais (one screened in) and lots of room. Kona Coast Resort is a 5 star facility and this condo is one of the few that is privately owned. The owner is pleasant, accomodating, and very efficient with reservation, checkin/checkout and followup info. We have stayed at Kona Coast for 19 yrs and have spent many weeks in lots of the other condos. Other than not being able to watch the sunset, this is one of the nicest.

Space, that's what this condo is about. This condo was luxurious, clean, and had all the amenities you could ask for. The kitchen was very well equipped. It has two patios, with a great ground level view of the golf course green. I found the entire condo spacious and beautifully decorated. There was a TV in the living room and one in the bedroom. There were instructions for almost everything. The WiFi took a little doing to get connected to, but once done it worked fine. The parking was sometimes a challenge in that you cannot park in the garage, nor in front of it. Sometimes I had to walk a ways from the guest parking. They had a dust buster in the laundry area which would have been great for small pick-ups but I couldn't seem to get it to work. All in all it is a great condo and I would stay there again.

We always bring our daughter and our granddaughter from the mainland to Hawaii, where we live, every year. And we always drive over to Kona for a mini-vacation so our granddaughter can get her fill of swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and boogie-boarding. We usually stay in an ocean-front unit but this time, in order to save some money, stayed in this unit at the Kona Coast Resort. We didn't have a view of the ocean from our lanai but it didn't matter. The swimming pool with its great casual restaurant and bar was a block away, the shopping center was a block from the resort, Kailua's best snorkel beach was a half mile away and the boogie boarding was a couple of miles away.
The unit, quite modern and new, was well-appointed, spacious and immaculate. We were still finding neat things in cupboards and closets on our last day. The twin lanais overlooking the fairway were very private and much-used. Being at ground level was a plus in not having to lug suitcases and coolers up the stairs.
We did not need the staff but the few we passed were friendly and courteous. One chauffered us to the pool in his golf cart when we didn't know where it was. We would stay there again.
