He'eia Bay Snorkeling and Surfing

Snorkeling in He’eia Bay adjacent to Kanaloa. The bay access is 50 feet from the Kanaloa at Kona Resort entry.  This bay is full of fish and turtles! It is not used much since it is a rocky beach entry but private and quiet.  Wear booties to get in and enter on the right (north) side where there is a sandy entrance. Swim straight out of the bay and the coral is just beautiful. People tend to think that it's deep outside of the bay but it is not. It is about 15 feet deep about 1/4 to 1/2 mile out and clear.
