Everything was very good most especially the amenities was enough for s hort stay. It would have been better if the check out time will be mid afternoon. Most vacationers spend as long as they can on their last day and earlier check in like 12 noon. The room is meant for holidays and not business.

For those of you that don't know, the Ilikai has condos (owned by various owners and companies) and hotel rooms (run separetely from the condos). With 2 trips to Oahu this year, one of with I extended twice, I've had the opportunity to stay in this condo, a condo owned by a different owner in the Ilikai, and 2 hotel rooms in the Ilikai. I feel this gives me a unique perspective on this condo. I was completely satisfied with my stay in this condo. Now, my previous stay was in a different condo, which had nicer furnishings and an ocean/marina view. However, that comes with a price: roughly 50% higher cost, and that's one of the cheaper 'other' condos. You'll have to determine for yourself if that's worth the price difference; for me, it's not. The condo is nice and clean, and was mainly a home base for me; and I'd spend almost all my waking hours out experiencing Hawaii, not hanging out in my condo. Communication with the owner all went smoothly. There are a lot of amenities; iron & ironing board, beach towels, a small cooler, and more. I also liked how the TV system has a DVR; it allowed me to record a show I really wanted to watch, but at a time I knew I'd be out. NOTE - The owner gave me some info on parking, but due to recent changes, it's out of date. The previously cheap lots behind the Ilikai, near the Marina, just changing their costs, to $1 per hour, PREPAID. They monitor them, and they'll tow your car if it's still there and your time expires; hard to always predict ahead of time exactly when you'll leave. Also, the Ilikai recently reduced their valet parking from $25 to $18, with in-and-out privileges.

Other than not receiving the 3 digit code for the entry key by e-mail ahead of time, the location was very convenient.. the room was very clean and complete of mostly everything needed for vacationers. The bed was extremely comfortable and we as a family truly enjoyed our stay there....and would stay there again when given a chance.. thank you
Lovely accommodation on our first trip to Oahu.

We recently returned from our first trip to Hawaii, a long trip from Eastern Canada and somewhere we have wanted to visit for some time. For the first 3 days we stayed in 1721 and were very happy with the location and the condo. There is nothing the owners haven't thought of and provided for the benefit of those staying there. A very clean place suitable for 2 [ the pullout would be ok for children but it would be a little tight]. We loved the king size bed, the bathroom ,the kitchen and the large screen TV. The view from the lanai is of the city and helped us get oriented. It is also the cooler/shaded side of the building, not a bad thing when it is hot. The air conditioner in the condo is well positioned[ not too near the bed]. The cleaning service and local contact was super. We would definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful 10 days in Hawaii, and enjoyed every minute. Unit 1721 was perfect for my needs. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in the door until I (sadly) left to meet my taxi to the airport. The local staff were very helpful and responsive to some assistance I requested. The condo was clean and lovely, and provided a peaceful respite at the end of each busy day. The unit is very soundproof - when you open the sliding glass door to the balcony you hear all the noise that is blocked out. Everything I needed was provided - soaps, dishes, beach items, extra towels and linens, etc. I hope to return to Hawaii again some day, and would happily stay in Unit 1721 again. I am grateful for the wonderful hospitality I received in this unit.

Very comfortable way to take a break in Honolulu

My husband and I took a short 3-day break in Honolulu and found this condo to have all the accommodations needed to feel like home. In such an expensive city, it was great to have a full kitchen to prepare our meals. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was fully equipped. We loved the location, surrounded by parks and with the shopping center nearby. We are NOT beach people so we definitely enjoyed the satellite HDTV, appreciated having internet service and the balcony was a great place to read the paper, relax and take in the city surroundings (although if you are looking for sunset views over the water, choose another condo.) The only things that we did not like is the couch, which we found to be rather uncomfortable and the somewhat musty odor. While the Ilikai is obviously going through some tough times (most of the storefronts and restaurants are closed) I was glad to see that their business center offered free airline check-in so we could print our boarding passes in advance. If we ever return to Hawaii, this is the only way we would go.

The Ilikai is located on the edge of Waikiki, which means it is close to the action without being in the middle of all the crowds and noises. In fact, The Ilikai is closest to one of Honolulu's best beaches -- Ala Moana Beach Park, where all the locals go! It's much nicer than Waikiki's beaches which are too crowded. Our condo unit was recently remodeled, beautifully furnished, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Aloha Condos provided excellent service. We stayed for a month!

Our stay in condo 1721 was outstanding. For only $75 a night we were able to experience the very best Waikiki had to offer. We have stayed in Waikiki 3 time before and were a little worried about the location but it was by far the best location we stayed at. Ala Moana was a short 5 minute walk away and the lagoon was the perfect place to take a 5 month old baby swimming in, not to mention the free parking (although for how long I'm not sure) that was on offer in the public parking lot near the lagoon. The condo was beautifully clean and VERY well-equipped, it had copious utensils and plenty of clean linen. I have already recommend Aloha Condos to several friends and one of them has already booked a stay. Your website is going from strength to strength (we used it last year for a stay at Napili Bay). It is convenient and user-friendly (especially for international visitors who find it hard to ring internationally with the time difference)I will definitely use your service a third time and know it will remain prompt, efficient and represent excellent value for money. Thank you once again Amanda

We stayed at this unit twice during my one month visit to hawaii. Even tho the parking is a little steep, its convenient to have it right at the hotel. The room is fully stocked with cooking utensils and beach supplies. The unit is a comfortable size where you don't feel cramped and the lanai is relaxing. The city noise isn't too bad, you can hear the trolly bells, which reminded me of San Francisco. The people at Aloha Condos are very helpful and are willing to work with you in regards to your schedule and budget.

City view condo may not be your preference, but this one is highly recommended:-) Well equipped kitchen utensils, nice interior accessory, internet access. You can see good mountain view, which is just between two condos building, from lanai. I would like to stay this room again.

We found that Ilikai Condo's location was very central. Walking distance to the Ala Moana shopping Mall and many different restaurants. Plus the pool, the lagoon and beach was walking distance without crossing the street, great with small children and very safe. We had a spacious lanai and full kitchen great for relaxing morning coffee. Also beach towels were supplied. My family rented three condo's and we all agree that we will come again.
