We enjoyed a wonderful week at the Polynesian Shores Condo 213 in March 2013. The process to book & pay for the condo was seamless & when we arrived we felt 'at home'! The condo is spotless with lots of thoughtful touches like fresh sponges & dish soap, lots of good quality towels, high quality linens, beach chairs & a cooler (which we used every day to go down to the little beach in front of the property!) and a well stocked kitchen. We picked up supplies and did most of our cooking - spending a lot of time enjoying meals & drinks on the lanai while whale watching! We loved getting to know the neighbour Erin - he was always full of great stories and left the paper for us each morning - a true character. The property itself is small but very well kept and with a nice community feel. The location was excellent and we enjoyed our week of R&R.;
Outstanding - will definitely return here!

We have stayed at several places on Maui, but this is the best! Wonderful condo with fully equipped kitchen for cooking. Many extras including beach towels and chairs, boogie boards and kickboards. From the balcony is a full view of the ocean and two islands - even saw several whales breach from the lanai! Also saw sea turtles swimming in the ocean in front of the complex, and up to 6 at a time sunning on a sandy beach about 50 yards north! In case you get bored watching the whales, the condo has a good library of books, videos, CDs, and games. Excellent laundry facilities on site, with a change machine - I also got a roll of quarters from the office!
Manager response:
Hi Dottie,
Many thanks for your kind review. So glad that you were able to enjoy the spectacle of sea life from our little slice-of-paradise. Hope to see you again soon!
We had a lovely two week stay in this well-equipped, updated condo that literally faces the ocean. The unit has everything you'd need in the kitchen, plus extras like games, books, 3 flat screen TVs, etc. People should be aware in advance that there are stairs to the entrance of the unit, plus stairs to the second bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We loved the place and would return!
wonderful stay

You couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay, Sometimes pictures that are on web sites doesn't reflect the true story. this unit was nicer than the web site pictures. the cleaning crew for the condo and the entire complex was a 10 . Very , very clean . and a beautiful location. We will definitely will stay here again. Thanks to the owners for allowing us to be their guests . Ps the neighbors next door make the stay even more enjoyable. Thanks again , Jeff and Cindi

Very clean, excellent view, quiet, direct ocean beach access, local turtles nearby. This was one very relaxing place. We could have easily spent the whole two weeks of our stay in this unit. No hassle at all checking in. Excellent beaches all along this coast, both North and South, and was easy drive to the hustle and bustle of the tourist strip in Lahaina.
Very nice condo, clean and updated.

We had a great time in Maui. The condo was just as advertised. Recently updated and had all the cooking tools we needed. Only thing negative is no central air conditioning. Trade winds died a few days before we were there it was a little humid. There were ceiling and portable fans that made it tolerable.
Manager response:
Hi Aaron,
Thanks for your kind review. Glad you had a great time!
Sorry to hear that the trades subsided temporarily that does happen occasionally, but is rare on West Maui.
Hope you return for another visit sometime soon!
We so enjoyed this beautifully decorated condo. It was the perfect location. The accommodations were outstanding. The grounds and pool were spectacular. We watched the surf each day along with the gorgeous sea turtles. The amenities were terrific. Truly had the aloha spirit. Could have used some a/C a few of the days. The trade winds died down and it got a little warm. Hopefully that will be an addition someday.
Manager response:
Dear Lee,

Thanks so much for taking the time to post a review, and glad you enjoyed your stay!

The trades are usually more than adequate to nicely cool the unit, particularly with windows open front and back for flow-through. Several fans are available for an extra 'boost' as needed. This ensures the 'feeling' of Aloha, as you experience the wonderful natural winds and smells of the island and resort, rather than freezing out with A/C.

Hope to see you again soon!
It was a memorable time for us when we stayed at Polynesian Shores 213 condo in Lahaina. In early morning, we enjoyed the scene of the ocean. At dinner time, we gather around the kitchen having our meal while sea breeze through the windows. We did not need the air condition! We had a good time there.
We are looking forward for the next stay.

We liked the kitchen, it was fully supplied, just like home. The view was amazing, we enjoyed walking on the beach taken so may pictures and watching turtles, sometimes dolphins. We hope someday come back. Thanks again.
Please say "Hi" to our neighbor at 214, Erin was so friendly, we wish we could have more time chatting with him.

It was wonderful, location was excellent, far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get there in a few minutes, and the view from the balcony was exceptional. We started each day sitting on the balcony enjoying the sunrise and watching the dolphins and whales play. The book of local recommendations was helpful and we added a few brochures to your collection. It was nice that you provided high power binoculars for the whales but most of the time we could see them without help. The condo was excellent with new and comfortable furnishings and everything we could possibly need to cook and go to the beach or pool. It was perfect for the 4 of us. We tend to rent condos when we travel and yours is one of the best we have ever used. We will be back soon and will happily recommend it to others.

Our trip started out with a condo that exceeded our expectations. We shared the condo with another couple and found it to more than roomy enough for two couples.
The condo is #213 at Polynesian Shores. Nice 2 bdrm, well equipped. It has 2 king beds (downstairs bed can convert to twin beds if preferred) and two full baths. The room has a lanai with an exceptional view looking to the west (the lanai pics on the aloha Condos website don't do it justice).
The condo has a pool and a bbq area. The unit is only 200' off the water.
Day 3 we started with breakfast at the condo. The condo was loaded with any cookware you could think of.
On Day 4 we had cocktails while sitting on the deck. I was just sitting here minding my own business and then I saw whale spouts. There were about 5 or 6 of them heading north. They were about 500 ft off the shoreline. No breaches, still very cool.
Day 5 We went down the beach about 200' north of the condo as were told there may be a turtle or two sunning on the beach. Sure enough... A big sea turtle was sprawled out on the beach. There another half dozen sea turtles playing in the surf about 20' off the shore.
We went back down to beach to have a cocktail and watch the sunset. It was just as beautiful as the day before. Once again, a half dozen sea turtles were playing in the surf not more than 50 feet away. This condo location rocks!!
Day 6 My birthday - What a beautiful morning. The sun came up and created an incredible rainbow, very cool.
Very nice trip, wonderful condo and super friendly neighbors. Everything we needed including great restaurants, beaches, and shopping are close by.
We would absolutely recommend this place to the best of our friends.
