This condominium is privately owned and you are renting directly from the homeowner who's company name is SDC Properties (as will appear on your credit card statement).  Therefore reservations are not transferable between units.

 

This condominium is professionally managed by Vacation Realty Hawaii 808 822 0272.  Your on-island contact is Graeme D. Merrin, RA, ABR, GRI.  808-651-7211   graeme@graememerrin.com

 

A $250 security deposit is required with this reservation and we may process a credit card authorization in that amount prior to your arrival.  A charge may result for damage to the condo, missing contents or for exceeding the stated number of overnight guests.  Damage in excess of the $250.00 security deposit will additionally be charged to your credit card commensurate with such damage.  Guests are responsible for reporting any damages immediately to the on-island contact Graeme D. Merrin, RA, ABR, GRI, 808 822 0272 or graeme@graememerrin.com.

The reservation deposit is nonrefundable; however if a cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the check-in date, the full reservation deposit may be applied to a new set of reservation dates in the same condo beginning anytime up to one year from the original check-in date (subject to availability). Cancellations made within 30 days of the check-in date results in loss of all payments.

A maximum of 6 guests may occupy a 3 bedroom unit for the regular nightly rate.   $15 per additional guest over the normal occupancy number is charged per day (any more than the 6 guest who can sleep in the beds) for those units that have additional accommodations.  This charge covers our additional expenses in laundry, electricity, and the setting-up/breaking-down of sleeper sofas or air mattresses.  Guests are obligated to disclose the actual number of occupants prior to arrival.

At no time should any one sleep on sofas other than sleeper sofas that are opened up and have sheets on them.

A pack-n-play and high chair are available at no extra charge, but must be requested via email to kristen@alohacondos.com at the time of booking or with reasonable notice prior to arrival.

Stays of more than 10 days have additional mandatory interim-cleaning.  For example if you stay for 11 nights you would have an interim and a final outclean.  If you stay for 21 nights you would have two interim cleans and one outclean.

Check-in time is 3 PM and checkout time is 10 AM.  Please be certain to plan your arrival and departure times accordingly.   We have a very tight cleaning schedule and the housekeeper will likely arrive at 10:00 to begin the clean.  Extra charges may apply if you have not departed at 10:00 as we have to compensate the housekeeper for wait-time.  If you need an early check-in or late check-out we recommend you book an extra night.

Cleaning fees are based on a 5 hour clean.  If the condo is left excessively messy and it can’t be made rent-ready in 5 hours, guests will be charged $37.50/hr for the additional cleaning.

We do our very best to have the units clean and in proper working order for your arrival.  Should there be any cleaning or maintenance problems please call your on-island contact at your first opportunity.  We require the opportunity to rectify any problems and will do so in a reasonable amount of time.

SUNTAN LOTIONS, AFTER-SUN LOTIONS AND RELATED PRODUCTS LEAVE BLEACH-LIKE STAINS IN FABRICS.  PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH OUR UPHOLSTERY AND BEDSPREADS.  We use white towels and white sheets for this reason, but it is not practical to have white sofas and bedspreads.  Please shower before getting into bed, and please sit on a towel if you have sun products on your skin and you want to sit on the upholstery.  Wash hands thoroughly after applying sun products to avoid accidentally damaging fabrics.  Guests are responsible for damage to linens and upholstery from products they use.  There is a $25 replacement charge for a ruined towel.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the condo or on the condo lanai and doing so will result in full loss of security deposit.  We have covered lanais, so the smoke gets trapped and blows into the unit.  If you smoke away from the unit on the grounds of Nihilani, please be sure the dispose of your cigarettes appropriately, but not in the condo.

Central air conditioning is available in all units free of charge, however  we are not responsible for circumstances beyond our control.  Please note some units have temperature controls to prevent the a/c from being set below 75 degrees.  Please know that Kauai has the most expensive electricity on the island and condo electric bills run between $450 and $900 a month.  Please help us to conserve electricity and keep our rates down by turning off the a/c when you are not home, keeping blinds closed during the day to keep the condo cool, and keeping windows and sliding doors closed when you are running the a/c.

We provide sheets for each bed and two bath towels per stated guest.  There is no daily maid service, but you are welcome to use the washer/dryer in the unit. If you have an interim clean included with your reservation we will launder the linens during the clean.

We also provide a reasonable amount of amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, tissue, soaps and detergents for your use.  Should you run out, you are responsible for purchasing additional products for the duration of your stay, unless you have an interim clean at which time we will replenish those supplies.

 

A signed bicycle waiver is mandatory of any person using the cruisers located in the garage.  This waiver can be found inside the condo or provided by the management company.  Adequate time to collect the signed waiver is required.

Please make sure that all keys, towels and remotes are left behind at the condo when you depart. We charge a $50.00 replacement fee for each lost key and a $75 replacement fee for a lost garage door remote.  Generally these are lost because they are left in the rental car, so please check your car carefully before you leave for the airport.

Keep indoor furniture indoors, and outdoor furniture outdoors.  There is a $50 fee if furniture needs to be moved back to its original place upon your departure.  For example, if you move a large glass table, the management company will have to hire someone to go help the housekeeper put it back.

No pets of any kind are allowed.

The illegal presence, possession or use of non-prescription drugs or other controlled substances is not permitted anywhere at Nihilani.

GUESTS ARE RESPONSILBLE FOR FOLLOWING THE HOUSE RULES OF NIHILANI.  Violation of the rules can result in fines, and guests are responsible for paying those fines.  In severe cases if guests are permanently removed from the condo and from the grounds of Nihilani by the homeowner, property manager, resident manager or the police the guest will not be refunded for rent paid for unused nights, even if the guest is prohibited from returning.

o    No not hang clothing, towels, etc. from lanais
o    No gas or open flame BBQs allowed on lanais
o    Garage doors are to remain closed except when driving in or out, or working in the garage area.
o    Children pay at their own risk in the community and should be supervised as appropriate
o    Entering and leaving shall only be through main entrance
o    Loud or excessive noise is not allowed, especially after 10:00PM
    Violation of Rules
o    Violation of house rules will result in a fine to the owner of your unit.  Any questions please call the resident manager.

Information Collection and Use

SDC Properties Inc., is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. SDC Properties Inc., collects information from our users at several different points on our website.

Orders

We request information from the user on our secure reservations form. On this form, a user must provide contact information (like name and mailing address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer’s orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.

Log Files

11c was the most well appointed vacation rental unit that we have ever rented. Our family of six plus an infant were never in need of anything. The kitchen had every utensil, glass, dish, pot, pan & storage container that we needed. There were basic spices and dry goods too. The beach supplies such as towels, toys, boogie boards, coolers and beach bags were plentiful. The bikes came with locks and helmets for safety. As for the decor of the unit, it was beautiful and so clean. We appreciated the full size high chair and pack and play for the baby. We even found outlet covers in the drawer to protect the baby from the electric outlets. This unit truly had everything - PERFECT IN EVERY WAY. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to friends and relatives. Thanks for a great week.

This condo was wonderful! The amenities were exceptional: location, pool and spa, air conditioning, 3 large bedrooms with 3 fully equipped bathrooms. 5 adults stayed very comfortably. We would definitely return to this condo!

Wonderful condo. It was the most comfortable and well appointed vacation home I have ever rented. The layout of the home provides both privacy between bedrooms and a wonderful common space for meals and time with family and friends. I really can't imagine renting a better home, especially for the rate charged. I would definitely seek out renting this home again on our next vacation to Kauai.

Nihilani 11c vacation

We stayed at Nihilani Unit 11c for 7 nights in March 2016.

It is an extremely spacious and lovely condo. The pictures do not do it justice. The carpet, furniture, and fixtures seem like they are brand new. The sofa, chairs, and master bed were very comfortable. Great linens, bath towels, and big beach towels are provided. The condo has a large top loading washing machine and dryer, and we ended up using them a few times while on vacation.

The condo is very large. We only had 2 couples (4 adults 35-45 years old) staying there and the place felt enormous. The condo has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, so it would be a great fit for 6 adults, or for a family with children. With the two balconies, kitchen table, dining room table, living room, and also two desks, there is plenty of space for you to have some privacy to read or do computer work if you are on a “working” vacation. The closets are huge, with plenty of hangers.

The kitchen was fully stocked with any dish, pan, glassware, or gadget that you would possibly need. The panty had plenty of spices, cooking spray, and oils. Just remember to restock anything you use to completion for the next guest. Reusable grocery bags were also in the pantry and we left baggies and aluminum foil for the next guests. There were plenty of garbage bags under the sink. And, there were even a couple of umbrellas in one of the closets, which came in handy.

Coolers, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, and bikes are in the garage that you can use. They really have just about everything you could possibly need or want while on vacation, so I would advise checking into the condo first before you make any purchases. About the only thing I didn’t see, were some hiking sticks, but I have to admit I did not look around too closely.

The condo is very near the pool and grill area in the complex, which is wonderful. It is also close to where you take the garbage out, which is convenient. The condo faces the busier street where everyone enters the complex. However, honestly we slept with the windows open and the traffic never woke us up, nor did we even notice it. We did not turn the air conditioning on at all. The ceiling fans and breezes though the windows were plenty to keep us cool at night.

This condo complex is in a wonderful location on the north shore of Kauai. It is a quiet neighborhood, but is also close enough to a lot of sights. We did gorgeous walks/hikes most mornings during our stay. You can walk direct from the condo to the St. Regis beach, Hideaways beach, and Queen's Bath, and have a great few miles under your belt before you officially start your day. We are blessed to have friends that own a different condo in Nihilani and acted as our tour guides, but I do not think any of the sights would be too difficult to find on your own.

The pool, hot tub, and grill area are very well maintained. It was never crowded and everyone we met in those areas were very respectful, friendly people with the Aloha spirit. It rained off and on while we there, but never for any entire day. We knew that would probably be the case, as we were staying on the northern part of the island during the rainy season, but we just drove to the east and south on those days and found some wonderful, sunny beaches.

Kauai is truly a magical place. The nearby Princeville Center (only about a mile away) has a grocery store, ice cream shop, gas station, shops, several restaurants, and the fun Tiki Iniki bar. A great nearby beach to take the kids is Anini beach. The town of Hanalei is also very close and offers great shops, restaurants, and our favorite, Hanalei Beach. In Lihue, Kalapaki Beach is a a lot of fun, if you like having restaurants and bars nearby for your day at the beach. In the south, Salt Pond Beach is a must if you want some solitude and a quiet beach day. Some of our favorite restaurants this trip that are near the condo: Happy Talk Lounge, Hanalei Gourmet, and Tahiti Nui for cocktails. Also, definitely do sunset cocktails at the St. Regis Bar one evening. If you are on the south shore for breakfast/lunch, we love Kalaheo Café.

After an exhausting day on the Kalalau Trail, or a fishing excursion out of Port Allen (the men caught fresh yellowfin/ahi tuna for our dinner), or after day basking in the sun and boogie boarding at one of Kauai’s beautiful beaches, this condo is a great place to come back to for some well-needed relaxation.

I did not want to leave this condo or Kauai. We hope to eventually make the island our full time home. Until then, I would not hesitate staying at Nihilani again, and 11c will be my first choice when booking, as it was the perfect retreat for our vacation. If you are looking for nightlife and action, this is probably not the place for you. If you are looking for solitude and a beautiful, spacious condo to call “home” for your vacation, then this is definitely the place for you. We will be back!

We recently stayed in Townhome 33a and 11c from Aloha Condos. They are directly across the street from each other and accomodated our family of 12 perfectly. Both condos are spotless, well decorated, and the facilities at the resort are top notch. We loved the North Shore and this resort was fabulous. Your Home Away From Home

After being stationed in Egypt for 18 months, my family and I needed a break. This unit made our stay on Kauai more enjoyable.

Our thirty hour ordeal to reach Kauai was met by comfortable beds, luxury linen and towels, and peaceful surroundings. Everyone slept well and woke up to find that there was food in the pantry and a nearby grocery store to shop. (Just replace what you take.) The unit has all the necessary pots and pans to cook with and a number of small appliances. All the major appliances are first rate and made life easier and saved us money as we were able to prepare a number of meals and do laundry. (They even had laundry detergent!).

When we went out there were boogie boards, coolers, mats, chairs, and umbrellas in the garage for our use. If you wanted to bike somewhere, you could rent the bikes that were located in the garage.

The owner and property management team have really thought of everything that you would need to enjoy your stay in this well appointed unit. My family and I look forward to our next stay in Hawaii and if it is on Kauai, it will be at 11C in Nihilani.

PS. The pool in the subdivision is not the greatest but the unit is located near some of the best beaches on the island!

Nihilani 11C was absolutely perfect, and as a previous reviewer mentioned, even better in real life than in the pictures. The condo was so well stocked with spices, oil, tons of dishes, shampoo, laundry detergent, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, bikes, helmets etc. We spent most of our time out on the beautiful lanais and enjoyed our morning walks and runs to the grocery store, queens bath, Hideaways beach and more. The air conditioning saved us as it was extremely humid during our stay. Both Kristen and Graeme were very helpful the few times that we needed to call them. We would not trade our stay at Nihilani 11C for anything and we will most definitely stay there again.

For my 18 family members, I rented 3 Nihilani units from 3 separate owners and Aloha Condo's 11C was by far the best. And I mean the BEST! The best furnished, the best appointed, the best decorated and far and away the best stocked. We ate in quite a bit and every possible cooking necessity was there, and housing supply for that matter. Two walk-in closets were so large, they had room for 2 desks and printers/faxes (we used to print boarding passes). To show you how complete the unit is, there was even a supply of printer paper and ink cartridges! From Nihilani we were close to beaches and other outdoor activities. I did my daily walk to the Foodland shopping complex. We were surrounded by golf courses. Kristen, Christine and Graeme were terrific! It was the best possible celebration of my 75th birthday.

Of the 3 Nihilani condos I rented for my party of 18, 11C was by far the best! Decor, comfort, stocked household provisions, far exceeded the other units. Everything you could possibly need for cooking was in the cupboards, 2 walk-in closets were large enough to hold desks and printers and the unit was spacious enough to host family gatherings. Lanai faced picturesque and peaceful waterfall. Nihilani is close to beaches and other outdoor activities and I did my daily walk to the Foodland shopping complex. Kristen, Christine and Graeme were outstanding. Highly recommend.

This is probably the first place I have stayed that was actually more beautiful in reality than in the photos. We were there very little, which is a shame because it would have been great for a long term stay. The kitchen was well stocked. There were bicycles that we sadly didn't get to ride. There was beach gear and a great washer dryer for when you return from said beach. The neighborhood was lovely and safe for walking. The mattresses were excellent and the three bedrooms were plenty roomy for us and our two young adult children. The Wi-Fi was strong and there was a printer/scanner that came in handy. We could have happily stayed here for three weeks. I can't think of a thing that they could add to make it better, except maybe a live-in chef!!

When I booked this condo, I had no idea how lovely it would be. The pictures somehow don't do it any justice. I've been to Kauai 3 times and we always come with family. Collectively, we've stayed many different places and everyone was beyond impressed with this condo, and very jealous!

You can't get a hotel room for the price. This place is huge, spacious. it has every thing you could possibly need. They've thought of everything. Beach equipment, bags, towels. the kitchen is large and nicely appointed. There are all sort of gadgets, even a crock pot and bread machine. Beds are comfortable, although the pillows are down. I don't personally like these type of pillow, but that's simply preference. The towels are thick and fluffy. They have a nice pack and play and high chair.

Both lanais have a view of the mountain. The art is even beautiful. I never got to go to the pool, but husband said it was really nice. It is also very quiet. We had my mother in law plus 4 noisy children. She never knew when we were up. You can't hear through the doors at All. The air conditioner was a nice feature, we just used it at night.

I only have the small complaints. The garage was hard to get in and out of and you must park there. We were driving a Yukon and our was an extremely tight fit. We had to move some shelving to fit and nearly ran over a plant backing out every time. The pillows were too flat alone and too thick to use two. I'm a very picky pillow person though. The downstairs neighbors were downright rude or first day. They beat on the garage door wall the entire time we loaded our kids the first day. It was 7 am, maybe early but hardly our fault that their apartment is beside the garage.

Note : the parking situation is no joke. My mom pared on the curb to drop something off and she hadn't stepped across the threshold of the door before a staff member of the complex was there to tell her to move. He was nice about it, but he stood there and wouldn't leave until they followed him out to prove compliance.

All in all, I adored our stay here. It made our trip so special. My mother in law had the time of her life. you can hike to sea lodge and queens bath if ypu ate feeling motivated. The golf course is across the street. No cliff views or anything like that, but the amenities more than make up for the lack of location. The location isn't bad, unless you agree dead set on being across the street from the beach. We are all keeping this one in mind for future trips.

11c was the most well appointed vacation rental unit that we have ever rented. Our family of six plus an infant were never in need of anything. The kitchen had every utensil, glass, dish, pot, pan & storage container that we needed. There were basic spices and dry goods too.The beach supplies such as towels, toys, boogie boards, coolers and beach bags were plentiful. The bikes came with locks and helmets for safety.As for the decor of the unit, it was beautiful and so clean. We appreciated the full size high chair and pack and play for the baby. We even found outlet covers in the drawer to protect the baby from the electric outlets. This unit truly had everything - PERFECT IN EVERY WAY.We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to friends and relatives.Thanks for a great week.

We stayed at Nihilani 11c for 10 days with our daughter, son in law and another couple. There is plenty of space for cooking, dining, and privacy when you want it. I cannot think of one thing missing: the kitchen has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal, there are beach towels, beach chairs/umbrellas and even ice chests! And, the beds are comfortable with wonderful, soft and luxurious linens. We'll be going back!

Aloha, Wow 11-C you know how to make your guests vacation in the lap of luxury! I can't say enough about this top of the line condo. Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, well stocked pantry & lots of high end extras. No need to bring or rent beach supplies, the garage had it all. Air conditioning at no extra charge. We just returned to winter after a two week stay in Nihilani 11C with our three young adult children. The condo at 11C exceeded our expectations and pictures. The kitchen is fully equiped with top quality appliances, dishes, knives and pots and pans. It was also fully stocked with spices and "leftovers" from previous tenants which made shopping easier and we were in turn able to leave useful items for the next family. We ate in the majority of the time (thanks to Costco and Foodland)and the set up was perfect for an adult family of 5. The layout was perfect for our family and would also work very well for 3 couples as each bedroom has their own bathroom and the rooms are spread out enough that the condo is very quiet. There was construction next door but it didn`t bother us as neither did the noise from the road or waterfall. We love the North Shore and our condo was well situated for our daily excursions. The bikes and well stocked toys were an added bonus. Our dealing with Kristen and Graeme from aloha Condos were excellent and efficient. I miss Kauai, the warm, and 11C already and hope to return next year. You won't be disappointed if you rent this condo - I guarantee.

We just returned from 3 wonderful weeks in Hawaii. Our home the second week of our stay was Nihilani at Princeville 11C. We sent many days researching various options throughout Kauai and made our final decision based on the reviews of Nihilani and its townhomes. 11C has everything someone could ask for in a vacation rental and is by far the best we have encountered in all our travels. The layout is great with 2 lani’s (we spent many hours on the one facing the waterfall) 3 huge bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds and private bath, a kitchen a chef would appreciate, 2 car garage with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and even 4 bicycles. The home is located across the street from the complex pool and hot tube which we used several times during our stay. Princeville is located to many beautiful beaches and attractions. Our 2 favorites were Hanalei Beach (South Pacific filmed here) and Anini Beach Park (very calm and clear as a result of an off shore reef). Kristen and Graeme were both very helpful with getting us access to the bicycles and any questions we had during our stay and we thank them both. You can’t go wrong staying here. We normally head to Florida during the winter, but are now considering this place as a better choice

This condo had everything we could ask for. Plenty of room for 2 families, incredibly-stocked kitchen, nice quality towels (both bath and pool), lots of toys and gear for the beach - we came expecting to have to buy a few things for our toddlers beach outings but they had so much fun with what came with the condo. The location was perfect for daily trips to Hanalei and all the north shore highlights. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again. The property managers were responsive and reasonable and we couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you!!

This condo is incredible. We felt like we were at home from the minute we walked in. The decor was beautiful, clean and very well maintained. It was fully equipped and had anything you would need for a great vacation. We went to the beach almost every day and had beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, and toys to use. It could not be in a more perfect location, close to a grocery store and all the fantastic activities of Hanalei Bay and the North Shore. The views were amazing. The front lani had a view of the ocean in the distance and a waterfall right across the street. The back lani was a beautiful view of the mountains. The management was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this condo.

This is a great place to relax and unwind from busy work schedules. Our week in Kauai was just "what the doctor ordered"! Great gourmet kitchen ...who needs to go to pricy restaurants! Imagine having the worst flight ever and then walking into the mostincredible vacation rental ever. The Nihilani 11c made us feel like we werehome. This is the most amazing vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Fromthe fully equipped kitchen having everything you could need and more, to theassortment of beach gear. All you need to do is relax. Our kids absolutelyloved eating breakfast and dinners on the lanai, taking walks around theproperty at night and jogging to the beach in the mornings. We could not have asked for anything more. We have already recommended thisrental to our close friends and can't wait for our next visit.

Beautifully furnished, high quality amenities, and too many extras to list. Three bedrooms and three baths, this condo comes with everything you need for a perfect vacation: dishes/glassware for 20+, spices, bicycles, Nexxus hair products, boogie boards, beach towels and chairs - you name it, it's here. Don't go to the supermarket until you've checked out the food supply in the condo; you'll be amazed at what you'll find. The condo cost ~$800K when it was built five years ago, but thanks to the weak economy (every grey cloud has a silver lining), you can rent it for less than a hotel room. This was our 4th condo stay on Kaua'i and 12th in Hawai'i, and this unit was hands down the best.

This was our first trip to Kauai and I have to say if we are lucky enough to take another trip and this condo is available we will definitely stay here again. The floorplan is great, very spacious and the furnishings are top notch. The beds were extremely comfy and every possible item you would need was provided from cooking utensils to beach gear. The condo was very clean and we enjoyed sitting on the Lanai and admiring the gorgeous views. I would definitely recommend this condo to everyone, it is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable.

This unit has everything you could possibly need during your stay. The kitchen is fully equiped, great cookwear, china and even margarita glasses:) It is decorated with lovely island style furnature and appointed with lovely artwork throughout. We throughuly enjoyed or stay and found the unit very comfortable.The Nihilani units are one of the newest condos on the north shore with several upgrades such as granite countertops. This Unit has 3 full bedrooms and baths, with a desk area to get caught up with business while away.

We stayed here with two other couples and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen as we prepared most of our meals after going to the local Costco. This home is beautiful and comfortable. It even had beach chairs,boogie boards and a large cooler bag so we had picnic lunches at the beach. It was awesome. We will stay here again.

This is an amazing condo. It has 3 beds, 3 baths and plenty of space. It is immaculately furnished and beautifully appointed. It is really quiet and the lanai overlooks a soothing fountain. The beds are amazingly comfortable and the condo owners have truly thought of everything. The kitchen is stocked with everything imaginable, and things you would not expect are provided. For instance, four bicycles and helmets, childrens' beach toys, folding chairs, etc. I highly recommend it and would rent it again in a heartbeat!

My friends and I recently visited Kauai for a wedding. Nihilani was an excelent choice for housing! It was extremely spacious and all the amenities you could imagine. I've never rented from a place that supplied so much stuff...it was like our own homes. The views of the surrounding areas were amazing. We could have stayed at the condo all weekend. Highly recommend this place for family and really any kind of group vacationing together.

I was amazed by the quality of everything in the house- from the beautiful decorations, furniture and bedding, to the appliances and utensils in the kitchen- the owners spared no expense in stocking the place so that you had anything and everything you could possibly need or want. I was very impressed with all the extras, like high quality knives and cookware, a full spice cabinet, kitchen appliances, boogie boards and sand toys, guidebooks and dvds. It felt like the owners must have lived there themselves bec. they thought of everything and didn't skim on buying cheap kitchen stuff bec it was a rental. The island styled decor was so tasteful and home-y, down to every last detail; it felt like you were living in your own island luxury dream home. Hawaiian style was authentic and upscale, staying true to an island theme without being cheesy or touristy.

This unit was wonderful. We've stayed in a lot of rental and time share units and this condo was the best equipped of any we've come across. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and more, the linens were high quality, the things we needed for the beach -- chairs, boogie boards, beach bags, towels -- were all there, the TV and other electronics were high end (including a blue ray DVD and sound surround system), and the owners had even provided a great selection of new Dvd's for both families and kids, as well as island guide books. It was just fabulously comfortable for the six of us (four adults, two kids) and made a great home base and place to relax after a day in the sun. The only negative was a bit of traffic noise from the road because the unit is on the outside of the development. But this really only affected the master bedroom and everything else was so great we didn't mind the noise. We would definitely stay here again!
