Deposit and Payment:
· A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total rental amount must be received to confirm a reservation.
· Full payment of the rental balance due is required no less than 30 days prior to the check-in date.
· A $250 security deposit is required with this reservation and we will process a credit card authorization in that amount prior to your arrival. A charge may result for damage to the condo or contents, missing contents, excessive cleaning required after checkout or for exceeding the maximum number of overnight guests.
Cancellations:
· Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check-in date can have the deposit applied to a stay with new dates at the same AlohaCondos.com property within one year of the original check-in date.
· Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the check-in date will forfeit all deposits.
· Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the check-in date will forfeit all deposits and rental balance due payments.
Cleaning Fees:
· All stays have a check out cleaning fee $250.00.
· Stays of more than 10 days have additional interim cleaning fees of $200 every ten days. For example, if you had reserved the condo for 28 days, you would be charged for three cleanings total - two interim cleanings and one check-out clean.
Check-In/Checkout:
· Check-In Time is at 3:00 PM.
· Checkout Time is at 11:00 AM.
We can accommodate earlier check-ins or late check-outs when we do not have other parties departing and/or arriving on the same day. Early check-in is 8:00 AM or later while late check-out is 6:00 PM or earlier. The fee for early check-in is 50% of the daily rate. The fee for late check-out is 50% of the daily rate.
Air Conditioning:
· Central air conditioning is available at a rate of $30.00 per day. The A/C can be turned on while at the condo if not initially selected but then found to be needed.
General Policies:
- Keys: Please make sure that all keys are left behind at the condo. We charge a $25.00 replacement fee for each lost key. For locked out service, our local manager can help. But his charge of $50 and will need to be passed on. The problem of lost keys becomes much less if the lockbox key is returned to the lockbox and stored there.
- Smoking: The Kona Coast Resort at Keauhou Gardens is a non-smoking resort with designated smoking areas around the property. All condos are non-smoking units. If you need to smoke, please do so outside of the condo.
- Pool Access Magnetic Cards: Please go to the Kona Coast Resort Office to obtain pool cards. You must show your ID.
- Parking: Please go to the Kona Coast Resort office to obtain a parking sticker to use at open parking spaces in the resort.
- Occupancy: We allow a maximum of eight overnight guests in unit 7106. With more than 6 guests, a $19 fee per additional guest per day is charged.
- Linens: We charge a fee of $15.00 for any missing beach or bath towels upon checkout
- Weather and extreme environmental events policy: No refund will be given unless a “mandatory evacuation order” has been given by the County of Hawaii for Keauhou and the surrounding area. In the event a mandatory evacuation order is issued we will refund unused portions of rent of a guest currently occupying the property and any advanced rents or deposits collected for a guest that is scheduled to arrive during the extreme environmental event period.
