Kanaloa at Kona 3104, Kailua-Kona Big Island

Our repeat visit did not disappoint!

Our week’s stay in unit 3104 was just as delightful as we had hoped it would be, and then some. Although it had been some twenty years since our last visit to Kanaloa at Kona, the resort and its facilities have been meticulously maintained and... more retained its low key and understated luxurious Hawaiian charm. The condo itself has an enviable position perched above the ocean with an unrestricted, glorious southwestern view. We began each morning with coffee and celebrated most every sunset on the comfortably furnished lanai. The living areas were inviting, the updated bedrooms and bathrooms fresh and clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with most every gadget and utensil imaginable. Although we were initially a bit hesitant about climbing stairs to the second floor, it well rewarded by the vaulted ceilings that most definitely enhanced the unit’s spaciousness and open feeling. The closets full of ocean and beach gear were most definitely handy and appreciated. As our daughter and fiancé live on Oahu, we hope to have the privilege of returning sometime in the near future. Kona vacation

Perfect place to relax

We truly loved our stay. My favorite vacation rentals are places that are part time homes to the owners, where there is more than one kitchen towel, reading lights in thoughtful locations and in the case of this home, beach gear. You are all set... more with chairs, towels, cooler, beach mats, boogie boards etc. We were a family of 6, all adults; the beds, tables, bathrooms all accommodated us perfectly. The sunsets from the lanai were divine as was breakfast watching dolphins. There is a pool next to the Ocean that looks perfect for a nap or good book. We definitely need a return trip. less
