Kanaloa at Kona 2003, Kailua-Kona Big Island

Wonderful house with an amazing view!

We stayed here for one week and everything was perfect. The pictures don't do the views justice - it's 100x better in person! The house is well stocked with everything we needed including kitchen items, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, snorkel gear, beach chairs,... more but ach umbrella, etc. We cooked almost all our meals at the house and had all the cooking utensils we needed. The pools and BBQ areas were great. The a/c worked well and the house was very clean. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Kona. less

Awesome Condo and Amazing Location

I have stayed in this condo several times over the last 10 years. This condo is ideally situated within walking distance of Keauhou Bay, making it easy for us to walk to the bay for snorkeling and visit the nearby farmers/art market. Located right on... more the ocean, we enjoyed sitting on the lanai, watching dolphins, and were lucky enough to spot two breaching humpback whales, even late in the season. Condo 2003 features a well-designed layout with two bedrooms and a loft bedroom. During our 10-day stay, we cooked several meals in the well-stocked kitchen, which was spacious enough for multiple people to cook together. Beautiful Waterfront Condo

My husband and I stayed for a week in April and loved it! It was central to both the north and south, and we could pop into Kona easily. There are very good beaches nearby and a shopping village just a mile away. The complex... more has three great pools, and we usually had one to ourselves. There is a trail along the coast we enjoyed too. The condo itself is a perfect size, had streaming tv services, a really huge master bedroom space, lots of storage, two beds/bathrooms plus loft, a large stocked kitchen, no bug problems and a lanai that can’t get any closer to the water (note, the waves are quite loud)! One of the most unique places I’ve rented in Hawaii, and I recommend it wholly. I really like condos who don’t throw out usable items from previous guests (suntan lotion, aloe vera, kitchen pantry items, etc.); this is so useful! There were only two cons: (1) the beds and pillows are not comfortable – I docked a star because I didn’t sleep well. (2) While it was clean enough, it wasn’t super clean (like oil and crumbs in the kitchen). less
