Napili Bay Resort, Unit 201 - May 2007 Stay

I learned about the Napili Bay Resort from the Frommer’s guide.
I went online and did the virtual tour with my girlfriend. Then I called the owner and asked him a few questions. The Frommer’s guide was very convincing. We were concerned with price and location. Based on the price, the pictures and my conversation with the owner, we took a shot thinking that we were only sleeping in the room and would spend most of our time on the beaches and driving around Maui. We arrived late… around 10:00pm. The place looked nice at night. What’s that racket outside? It was the pounding surf. When the sun came up we went over to the Lani. We could not have been more pleased with this room (Unit 201). It was everything that the website and the owner told us it was. The views from the lani are spectacular! Palm trees, the crescent shaped beach, the surf. It is everthing that one thinks of when one thinks of Hawaii. I could not believe that we picked this place from a book and a web site.
I did the same on Kauai and we were pleased but it did not come close to the perfection of Unit 201 at 33 Hui Drive on Maui. Thanks, Jim. We treated the unit like it was ours. I trust that you too were please with us as your guest. PS. We ate at KIMOS as your 3-ring binder suggested. It was great1
PSS. Your directions were excellent. We did not make one wrong turn! And we found the place in the dark! I cannot believe how perfect our stay was on Maui.
