As you treat yourself to a luxurious trip to Kauai Hawaii you should indulge yourself one step further with a vacation rental condo. A private apartment style room with a king size bed, spacious kitchenette, sleeper sofa for guests or family and a private lanai looking out onto a full ocean view. You can be as close as twenty feet from the ocean.
You have cable television for weather watching or to check out the local news. Restaurants of several types are only a few short minutes away. You can enjoy a fresh breakfast of fruit and locally grown coffee, as Hawaii is the only state within the U.S. that grows coffee beans. Try a Spam and eggs breakfast with the freshest juiciest pineapple you will ever taste for breakfast. Sample local cuisine for lunch and dine on a traditional luau menu at dinner. Aside from the cuisine the adventures to choose from are unbelievable.
The Grand Canyon of the Pacific, Waimea Canyon is beautiful and the sea cliffs as high as 3000 feet off of the Napali Coast are best enjoyed via helicopter. Travel down the Waialua River for some fast paced water filled fun. Take a dip in the ocean and dig your toes in the glistening sand. Enjoy yourself to the fullest but leave the lava rocks behind.
Many people believe that bad misfortunes will follow you if you are to take a lava rock from Hawaii home with you. Hundreds of Hawaiian visitors ship back lava rocks taken while on vacation. They return the rocks in hopes to remove a type of curse. Fiction or fact is unsure, are you willing to take the risk? Hawaii is a magical place that builds deep lifelong memories for travelers to enjoy.
