Beautiful condo
This is a beautiful condo that perfectly fit our needs for 6 people. The kitchen was well equipped with most utensils that we needed. Very nice lanai with 6 chairs around the table. The only negatives were the air conditioning and keypad for the door.... more

No A/C.
Pretty sure the owner is controlling the A/C. Could never get it to stay on during the day even with all the doors and windows closed. Finally at night around 11pm or so it would stay on until morning. Either it’s on a timer or... more

Aloha Debbie, We do appreciate your feedback about the unit 12D at Pili Mai. The AC at 12D is on a program that makes sure the doors and window are shut while it is on. This is a safety measure because of the very expensive utility costs on the island and assuring that guests are not using the AC with the doors and windows open which was happening alot. We are not sure what temperature you were trying to get it to reach but the system also does not allow a setting any lower than 68 degrees. It seems funny that at night, it would work correctly but not in the day when people are up and about. The parking lot next door is as you mentioned for the restaurant - Joe's on the Green" which is such a great option for breakfast in the morning and just a minute walk. The parking lot does border the the Pili Mai complex but there is a nice tree/shrub barrior which makes it hard to even see the parking lot as the pictures on the website shows. We are happy you were pleased with the cleaning but not sure what you might have meant about it being not well stocked. The kitchen does have all the pots/pans, dishes, flatware, coffee maker, blender, full kitchen appliances, rice cooker, baggies, cookware and more. All the bedding, furniture is all new when the unit was built a couple years ago. The unit does have a washer/dryer and laundry detergent is supplied. Two bedrooms do have the attached bathrooms and the one smaller bedroom does not have the attached bathroom but is just outside the bedroom door so that the door to the bathroom actually touches the door to the bedroom. It is as close as possible without being attached. Builders always want one bathroom accessible from the hall so that is a builders design. We appreciate your suggestions about the twin bedroom and the queen bedroom sizes and suggestions. However the twin beds would not fit in the smaller bedroom, therefore the option for the queen bed is in the smaller bedroom. One other option if you really would have liked to have stayed in the twin bedroom is the option to convert the two twin beds to a king. This options is stated on the websites. The websites are really a good review of what is available in the condo and the video is great to go room to room to see the layout and design when choosing a condo to stay.
Pili Mai 12D - Great Space
Condo was perfect, and perfectly appointed. Party of 6 stayed comfortably with plenty of personal space and privacy. Private outdoor dining area a definite bonus.

Condo review

The twin bedroom does have an AC vent which is located just above the doorway as you can see in the video provided on the website. If it got stuffing in that room sometimes closing a living area vent at night can help distribute the air to go more into the bedrooms. We hope you can come and enjoy again soon!
Maui Trip
I rented 2 condos for our stay. They were very nice inside. They are close to Front Street which is very convent. Be aware parking is expensive on site. You can park a block away still paying a fee. Street parking was always full.
