Amazing panoramic ocean view retreat!

I've been coming to this home for many years and don't even look for other options. The home is super spacious and all rooms are generously sized. The floor plan is perfect with all public spaces overlooking panoramic ocean view. Wonderful stay- exceeded expectations

My husband, I and our 2 young children spent 2 nights at the condo and were so wonderfully pleased. We knew going into it, from the photos, that we would love it but the photos don't do it justice. Super spacious living/dining space, fully equipped... more kitchen and grill, large bathroom (and I appreciated the bench seat in shower for showering my children), comfy bed, and wow, the lanai was huge and the most fantastic view! We appreciated the detailed check-in info and communications prior to arrival and the house rules and check-out procedures were straightforward and reasonable. Our kids enjoyed the family friendly pool and us adults appreciated the poolside bar. :) The location across from the KTA also couldn't be beat. Definitely recommend. less

Enjoyed our time in this location. Nice view off the balcony into the ocean. Great place for a family trip!

Great place to stay. Beautiful view off the lanai to enjoy sunsets. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could need. The condo is very spacious and and very well equipped. The view from the balcony is beautiful - great place to watch sunset. There is no AC and the place gets quite hot during the day, but the fans help to cool it down.

Beautiful views

The condo is very spacious and well stocked! However, no windows were open when we got there and it was very stuffy and smelled. The day to day things like countertops and tabletops looked clean, but the carpets are very dirty as are the windows,... more screens, blinds and fans (and that little shelf thing between the kitchen and dining area). I don't have severe allergies but I sneezed and was stuffy our entire stay from the dust. When you have to lift the dirty blinds, to open the dirty windows so the breeze (which is fantastic) can blow through the dirty screens it doesn't give an impression of cleanliness throughout. Otherwise, I think you have great potential for rentals with this condo, the views were beautiful, it is very spacious, the kitchen is well equipped and the lanai is huge! less

Review of Condo

Really enjoyed our stay at the condo it had absolutely everything that we needed except for one thing there was no coffee so it would have been nice I think I left our coffee there I think cuz I had to go buy some but... more most places we stayed in has coffee for at least one morning so that if you don't get out that morning before you go you still got coffee in the morning the other thing is we did not realize it was on the third floor so we did have to go up two staircases short ones to get there from the second floor but my husband's had a stroke and that was quite difficult for him so next time we will have to either stay on the second floor that has a bridge to it or the first floor but other than that everything was fantastic thank you less

Exceptional Accommodations

This is my 4th stay in the condo. The condo is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for a Hawaiian vacation. Amazing Condo: so spacious and great location

Such an amazing condo, so so spacious and perfect location. King Bed super comfortable. Short walk to shopping center where the KTF supermarket is very good good restaurants there also, but it is very quiet and no disturbance by road traffic at all. The lanai... more is very large and you can watch the sunset from it every evening...the lanai furniture is so comfy. All the little details that made it more special: little beach coolers, lot of beach towels,all the kitchen utensils, zip-locks, cling wrap, ice packs, boogie boards (we used our own), closed garage so the car is cool in the evening... Lot of TV channels, fast internet. It right above one of the pool, and it is nice to walk in the resort and look at the flowers and birds. When we come back to Kona we will book this condo again. We really appreciate the very personable experience we had when reaching out to the owners for questions. less

Amazing Views!

Place has amazing views and has plenty of space and is a extremely well stocked unit. It is conveniently located to groceries, great walking, golfing and very close to the “quiet” pool where you can gear the water feature running which is a nice background... more noise. Relatively new living room dining furniture. Cons: unit is aged, no AC and is quite warm in afternoon evening even with 6 fans running. It does cool down to sleep with the fans. At least 1st part of Jan it was warm. Could Use a roller shade in front of sliders to cut down on afternoon sun in unit. Others reviewed King bed as comfortable, I didn’t find it so. The bed could use added supplies to make it more hotel or at least my home - type sleep. All in all the price is about right for the unit. It is less than other units in the Resort area. I’d rent it again. less

Let us move in!

Our family of four (two small littles) had the honor of spending a month at this amazing condo. We cried when we left and missed that sunset that we always ran home for each day. The place was is way more spacious and lovely than... more the pictures show, and the resort itself was quite lovely. We got to know the staff and everyone was so great. What's also not mentioned is how perfect the location is! Right in walking distance to the Commons and all the fun, tourist spots like downtown Kona. We really enjoyed exploring more of South Kona and Captain Cook, and Kohala and the resorts and it's beaches are not a far drive either. We can't wait to get back. Luxury Condo at an affordable rate!

We had an absolutely fabulous time during our 3 night stay in your beautiful Condo! We extended our vacation in Hawaii because Thanksgiving was “cancelled” at home due to Covid 19. We had to “scramble” to find a 3 night stay because where we had... more been staying was booked! We were so very pleased to find your lovely Condo for the remainder of our Vacation. Everything we could have possibly needed was provided! Well stocked kitchen, lovely furnishings, very comfy bed and pillows, luxurious shower, enormous Lanai, and the convenience of a great Webber BBQ on the Lanai. Providing Beach “stuff”: cooler on wheels, small personal cooler, towels, and beach chairs a definite plus...as we went to a different beach daily! Wonderful stay

This was our first experience renting a condo, and we couldn’t have been happier. The unit was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed and furniture. Yes the micro and oven are dated, but they work fine.The fridge is new, with filtered water dispenser and ice maker... more and that is far more important to us. The lanai is huge, with a sunset view that is the best on the property. We loved having our own barbecue. There are multiple fans which combined with the trade winds kept the unit very comfortable. Enjoyable Visit

We enjoyed a weeks stay here in August. The views from the lanai are wonderful and were our favorite part of the condo. We just sat out there enjoying breakfast, lunch, and dinner from the lanai. The condo is exactly as advertised and is clean.... more The kitchen needs updating especially the kitchen sink faucet and microwave, but had everything you need in terms of condiments and amenities. Lots of fans to help keep us cool but we just coincided with a hot weather week for the Kona Coast. The master bedroom is large and the bed comfortable. Good deal

For the price, I was pleased with the condo. Our selection of Kona Coast was due partly to the tennis courts. We were disappointed in the court's plastic surface. Because of the surface, we decided to play at Holua. Still overall, we were pleased with... more the unit itself. Being on the third floor provided a nice view and more importantly a nice breeze. The kitchen was full of dishes that we found useful to our preparing and cooking meals. The gas grill was convenient. The unit was clean. There was enough extra linen and towels for our needs. We called the manager during our first night to request dishwashing detergent for the dishwasher. He came the next morning to get bring some. We were then able to use the dishwasher. I would recommend to others and would rent this unit again in the future. less

We've stayed in this condo several times and it's never been disappointing. This location is my favorite on the island, as it's low key yet so close to town and beaches. The view and sunsets are spectacular from the lanai, which becomes our dining room... more and most favorite place in the house. KCR 1-304

This was our second time staying in Pete and Jeanette's large, lovely and very homey Kona Coast condo unit. The view from the huge Lanai was excellent. Perfect Sunset views are yours just by walking out to the Lanai at the right time. Just a... more brief walk downstairs is the beautiful "Quiet Pool". We made good use of that pool when it got a bit warm. Even though it was warm during our stay, the high location of the apartment allowed the cool breezes to keep it comfortable inside just by opening the entry door and using only the security screen door. Also, the kitchen is equipped with everything, including multiple condiments, needed on a vacation. We plan to return again for sure! less

Another Great Stay at Unit 1-304

We just concluded another relaxing stay at KCR Unit 1-304. We've stayed in this unit for a number of years. This unit is conveniently located to all of the facilities at KCR we like to use as well as the Keahou Shopping Center for our... more resupply needs ( including Bianellis Pizza!). The unit itself is functional with a great sunset view out of the living room and the lanai. The kitchen is fully equiped. The washer and dryer in the unit work fine as well. Occasionally the warm water takes a bit longer than expected to get up to this top floor unit from the hot water heater in the basement but this really hasn't been a major issue The owners of the unit are great. They are available and responsive to any condo needs or issues that might arise and do so in a timely fashion. We would definitely recommend KCR unit 1-304 for a relaxing , comfortable vacation destination in the Kona area. less

Great Condo!

We had a wonderful time on the Big Island, our first time on this island. Your condo was also wonderful, and yes, it surpassed our expectations. We couldn't ask for a better view of the ocean all around us. We enjoyed breakfast a few times... more at the restaurant on the premises, very tropical, great way to start the day! Home away from home

I found my home away from home! The staff call this place the penthouse when we arrived and we immediately discovered that it was because of the million dollar view! I will be back for sure. Its a very spacious 1 bedroom, nothing fancy but... more it has everything u need . the lenai is spectacular which looks out over first the "quiet pool" , then the rest of the resort (below you) followed by the golf course which is ocean front. I have never been to the big island before but i have been to the islands many times and i have to say i fell in love. Its so relaxing and quiet, Right up the hill is a shopping center that has everything and .8 miles down the street is a cool little beach/reef that has wonderful snorkeling and lifegards. I could go on and on about what a great time we had in the penthouse but it just would make me more depressed because i wish i could wake up in that comfy bed, in 1-304 every morning and sit on the lenai have a cup of kona gold and watch the sunrise. It truely is magical! I was the silent auction winner at a fundraiser for this trip and i have to thank the owners for donating to such a wonderful cause. i took advice from a gentleman that night which i had never met before and he told me to go get that trip....he happened to be the owner . So Mahalo Pete! Im so glad I listened. It was One of my favorite trips ever and i enjoyed every second in the penthouse. 😃 I cant wait until the next time! Aloha less

Other than the door lock issue that was promptly fixed, we thoroughly enjoyed our 15 days at your condo. Beautiful View and Roomy

We had a great time. Enjoyed the lanai and the bed was comfy. Very roomy for 2 people. Can't wait to go back!! Suggestions: Bedroom and Kitchen blinds were very dirty - caked with dust and the screens needed a good squirt with the hose.... more Beach chairs were broken and it would have been nice to have some of those around to take to the beach that were the same size and comfortable but that might be something you expect the renters to purchase but then you'd have a mountain of them on the lanai. Refresh the bed pillows and throw away some of the old stained ones stashed away. less

Organized and Equipped

Another Great Stay

We've had the pleasure of staying at this unit more than 6 times over the past few years.. We really enjoy the layout of the unit and the close proximity to the pool. Great Condo for your Kona Vacation!

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo in Kona. It was spacious, had a lovely view and all the necessities to make our two nights stay an enjoyable one. Was just wondering why there was a no parking marking in front of the unit's garage.... more As we preferred not to park our vehicle in the unit's garage (due to the necessity of using the code box), we had to park our vehicle in the 3 parking stalls available in the area. Great condo

Beautiful apartment

The apartment is beautiful, very well equipped ( although the microwave is an antique). There were many left over supplies, e.g. oil, spices, etc. and the owners thoughtfully welcomed us with fruits and snacks. Location is very good too, close to Kahalu'u park (great snorkeling),... more and a large supermarket. We had a bit of problem finding the place, the directions could have been better. But once found it we really liked the place. The view was lovely too. The one negative thing was the lack of AC. The apartment faces west, so the afternoon sun can be very strong. When the sea breezes are on it is OK, but we had two very warm days in our Sept 30 to Oct 4 stay when the breeze was almost non existent and we really missed a bit of AC. We would have used it only for a few hours. At night it is really not needed. We will probably come again but better in late October or in November A minor other complaint: I do not see why we had to strip the beddings. There is a large cleaning fee, we should not have to prepare or do the laundry. less

It is only missing the ocean

The condo is very nice and homey. It appears spacious and has a nice layout. It is very clean and the welcome fruit basket was very much appreciated. The bed was comfortable. The view from the lanai is beautiful. The walk in shower was beautiful... more and again like the rest of the condo was very clean. Unfortunately the resort does not really have true beach access. (Or at least not that I could find.) The surrounding grounds at the resort are beautiful. The weather during my stay was unseasonably warm and humid, which did make the days a bit uncomfortable but the nights cooled reasonably and the large number of windows and presence of breeze made it more comfortable to sleep. I would definitely consider staying at this location again! less

The condo has everything you need to relax and it is close to a main road as well as a close drive to the more touristy area. The kitchen is well stocked and the shower and bathroom are both large. Huge One Bedroom Condo in Great Location

Just got back from one week in Kona staying at Peter and Jeanette's condo at Kona Coast Resort. The condo is massive for a 1 bedroom and has fantastic ocean views. Disagree with previous post- kitchen was spotless. Microwave could have been prototype for first... more microwave available to consumers, but still worked well. In fact did not see any cockroaches or those tiny ants entire time of stay. We have seen them many times while staying in 5 star resorts on the Big Island. Wifi was very fast. Condo does not have A/C, but did not find this problem in evenings with cool mountain breeze coming in screen windows. Nice fruit and chocolate basket on check in was nice touch. Great location, dirty kitchen

I enjoyed my stay here, but spent most of my time off the resort or on the lanai enjoying the sunsets. However, we were quite disappointed with the condition of the kitchen (the rest of the place is fine, except for very dusty blinds and... more fans). The dishes were not at all clean. There was food stuck on the plates and bowls, and the cups were extremely dirty. We spent most of the first night cleaning dishes before we were able to eat. The dishwasher door is so filthy, I was able to write "wash me" in the soapy/greasy film. The fridge door, particularly in and below the water dispenser, have not been wiped down in weeks if not months. Additionally, the blender was completely broken and the blades did not spin at all. After complaining to the owners (almost word for word what is above, different verb tense), the blender was replaced and the dishwasher had been wiped, but still wasn't really clean. Otherwise, the bed is quite old and sags in the middle. The living room furnishings are ok. The giant walk-in shower is probably the best feature inside the house, it was really nice, big and clean. The kitchen is quite dated and as mentioned above the dishes were very dirty. Although we saw none inside the condo, the resort in general has a cockroach problem. We saw them frequently on the lanai and the parking garage. There's also a whole bunch of anoles and geckos, but I don't mind those at all, they're pretty cute. Overall, the place just needs a head to toe cleaning, and a reorganization of cupboard/drawer contents. The patio is very nice, and the location is excellent for quick snorkel / beach trips, and the grocery store is right beside the resort. Would definitely stay in this area again, but just not at this particular condo. less

Perfect location/condo for a Hawaii vacation!

We wanted a condo in a relatively quiet location in Kona, yet close enough to the Honokohou Marina for our morning diving trips. Unit I-304 truly exceeded our expectations! A beautiful place to relax!

We spent a delightful 6 nights in 1-304. We had spent a very busy week before on Maui so were looking for a quiet place to relax. The deck with a view of palm trees and the ocean was perfect. Truly home away from home!

We couldn't have been more impressed with the quality and cleanliness of this unit and of the entire resort. It has everything you could ask for and more. I didn't see a single thing that looked old or run-down. Fantastic view of the ocean and... more sunset (it appears most of the units at the resort have little to no view.) Top floor so no chance of hearing anyone walking around above you. One of the pools is directly below the unit. Very nice shopping center just across the street with restaurants and a good movie theater. We would not hesitate to recommend this unit to anyone, glad we found it! Great introduction to Hawaii!

We stayed for 7 nights in Nov and had a great time. It was our first time in Hawaii, and we weren't sure what to expect, but we loved it. The apartment, although a bit dated, is huge! Although only 2 of us, it was... more great having the room to spread out. The condo is super close to one of the two pools in the resort (the 'quiet' pool) and we never had a problem getting a sun lounger whilst we were there - although I imagine it may get really packed during holidays. The condo had beach towels, chairs, boogie boards etc, which was fantastic as we didn't have to buy anything. It is less than a 10 minute walk to supermarket/cinemas, about 15 min walk to the beach, and there is a shuttle that runs (not very regularly) to Kona - however, if you are coming to the Big Island, we would recommend you get a car. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. less

Amazing stay at this beautiful Condo

Everything you want, in this very well appointed condo, they really have thought of everything. It is immaculate. With views to die for. With a supermarket a short stroll we stocked up our fridge with great salads and snacks. After walking around the golf course... more and dramatic coastline, we would return to the balcony (the biggest I have ever had for a condo) and gaze at the sea whilst enjoying a healthy breakfast. Sunbathing on the very private balcony, and taking a dip in the pool which is just below the condo and is very quiet, with sun beds. In the evenings a BBQ on the balcony. Or a short drive to the quaint and interesting bustling town. With breathtaking sunsets. Lots of great bars and restaurants with live music and fabulous food, a mix of american style with all the choices and some Ethnic styles as well. We loved this very relaxed holiday. We were impressed at how clean this condo is. It is very spacious and was fully loaded. We didn't need to buy any supplies because this place had it all. The bathroom was so spacious and modernized that my ten year old said it was one thing she would miss about the place. To me having a nice bathroom at my vacation lodging is very important. My husband and I couldn't be more impressed. The condo pool was clean. I liked that it had free wifi and it had 2 fitness gyms I could use. One had a universal machine which was important for a gym rat like me. No free weights but good enough. The deck had a gas grill that had everything you need to bbq. My little corner of heaven on the Big Island

I loved the condo and really enjoyed watching the sunsets from the deck. The pool was right below the suite so I spent a lot of time there. After the initial chaos at check in (there was no one at the gate to give direction... more and the porch light was not left on so it was impossible to punch in the key code in order to get the keys), any problems or issues were dealt with very quickly. The condo was very large and comfortable and friends that were staying elsewhere were very envious of my lodgings. I was frightened by a very large cockroach in the kitchen but we made a gentleman's agreement to stay out of each other's way and we both followed through. Another fine vacation

We have visited the Big Island many times and have honed in on the Kona Coast Resort as our favorite place to stay. For the two of us, unit 1-304 is just right. It is up high enough to catch pleasant breezes and great views... more over the ocean. There is occasional street noise from alii Drive, but we never find it a problem. Both the resort grounds and condo are very well managed with plenty of amenities. We particularly like the location -- it's an easy drive to the restaurants and shopping in Kailua-Kona, and a very pleasant walk over to the harbor at Keauhou Bay (we stroll over in the morning when the lighting is right and there is plenty of activity in the harbor). We never tire of the great diversity of scenery the Big Island offers -- lava flows, sea creatures, mountains, beaches, rain forests, waterfalls, and great sunsets. less

Great condo with million-dollar-view!!!

This condo has a spectacular ocean view that you normally would have to pay lots of $$$ for. This is my third trip to Kona and I am glad to have stayed here. My previous trips costed me much more $ from staying at the... more hotels without this much of comforts. This condo has everything I need to make my vacation a great one: quiet location, close to shoppings and highway, minutes from my favorite snorkeling beach, full-equipted kitchen so I saved a lot of $ from not eating out, boards for boogie boarding, beach chairs and umbrella, internet access, and mostly the big space that my son can roam a round. Aloha, Once we opened the door to the Edwards condo (Unit 1-304), we were immediately struck by the breath taking view of the ocean. The lanai had a million dollar view and we stayed and had our breakfast there most of the time. The condo... more was very spacious, quiet, clean and had a big open floor plan with vaulted ceilings. Having all the basic necessities was a plus and made our stay very comfortable. We love the little touches like the snorkels and floaters, from saran wraps/ foils and coffee filters. to the pots and pans in the kitchen. As well as the excellent amenities such as the pool and hot tub that are conveniently located just right down the unit. We also enjoyed the complimentary gas grillers in every corner of the complex. We stayed at Condo 1-304 for a week. First the owners are easy to work with and upon arrival everything promised was there. Great views, clean room and a great rate. A wonderful place with a great view

We flew into the airport, rented a car, and took a half hour drive to the resort. There is a security guard at the gate and he was friendly and professional. We stepped through the front door of our condo, and we felt like we... more were home. There was a fruit basket waiting for us with island fruits and cookies. The view of the ocean and the wonderfully furnished living/dinning room was a surprise. Every detail was set up for our comfort. The bed was more comfortable than any of the hotel or timeshare beds we have slept in. Every amenity for enjoying your stay is there, including beach hats and chairs, beach toys, stereo and flat screen television, wi fi, and every possible kitchen appliance and tool that you would need. The lanai has a bbq and comfortable furniture. We hardly left the place. It is a great place to kick back and relax. The condo has a very large lanai that looks down to the quiet pool. There is a spectacular view of the ocean looking over red tile roofs of the resort. The view of the mountains in back of the condo is also beautiful. We did not notice any street noise. The condo is a very short walk to the rocks and ocean front, a restaurant on site and a second pool area. There is a half mile easy walk to a sandy beach. There is a large and well equipped market two blocks away and at least five restaurants in that center. We will stay here often, and we expect to return in the fall of 2011. less

Comfortable Stay/ Great Lanai

We stayed at this unit for 10 days in January 2011. We found the unit clean and welcoming when we arrived late the first night. The front door was a bit tricky to open initially but no problem once you got the hang of it.... more The location of the unit was great both in relation to downtown Kona and to access the main road north or south on the Big Island . We found the bed very comfortable and the bedroom clean/not fancy, in general. The bathroom was also clean , the shower huge and all the towels and linens available as promised. We did have a small problem with the toilet cistern not filling after flushing, 3/4 of the way through our stay . We notified the owners who responded immediately to us regarding our problem. We were satisfied with their responsiveness. The "clinching" reason we will return is the absolutely amazing lanai with lanai doors that open to that great Kona coast breeze . To sum it up, the unit/complex is not brand new but tidy and fairly well cared for in general. The owners were responsive. The lanai was great! I would recommend the unit to friends. less

A view to die for and all the amenities of home.

The view in this condo is really special. Some days we just stayed in, sat on the lanai, swam in the pool, relaxed and enjoyed the view. The lanai is large and you feel as if you are on top of the world. Pretty much... more everything you need is there, a well stocked kitchen, beach towels, hats for the beach, a DVD player with Dvds and even a cooler to pack lunch on those days you want to explore. The location is within walking distance of a theater, restaurant, grocery and other shopping. The unit is older, but the price reflects that. One negative is the traffic on alii drive can by noisy so we needed to keep the bedroom windows closed. There are plenty of fans to keep you cool. We hated to leave! less

Wonderful Condo

The Edwards condo in the Kona Coast Resort is ideally situated above the adult quiet pool with the lanai facing west toward the ocean. It is a 3rd floor condo but the way the building is laid out, only requires that you walk up 1... more set of stairs to get to there. You can watch the sunset from the lanai and take beautiful pictures from there. The interior is very nicely laid out and beautifully decorated with island themed lamps and wall hangings. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The bedroom is very large with plenty of storage space and is very quiet for sleeping. The bathroom is huge with a very large shower and double vanity. The living and dining room span the entire west side with sliding doors the whole way opening to the lanai. Very comfortable furniture - the lounge chair is especially cozy! The lanai has a nice large dining table and we found that we never ate indoors because the weather was perfect for all meals outside on the lanai. The unit ha d wireless internet so we were both able to work and stay connected with friends and family through Skype. The east/west/north windows and doors along with fans in the bedroom, living room and dining room kept a constant fresh breeze moving through and eliminated any need for air conditioning. We had one maintenance issue that was immediately handled by the Edwards' on island manager alan Wilson. The Edwards followed up to make sure the issue was addressed to our satisfaction ensuring that in the unlikely event anything does go wrong, it is fixed right away without impacting their guests in any way. Well done! This is a truly wonderful unit in an excellent property. I would highly recommend this unit for anyone planning a trip to the Big Island. less

Very nicely appointed, conscientious...felt very welcome

Our large lanai spread out across the entire front of our unit with ample space for dining, lounging and gasping at the incredible sun setting over the Pacific and behind the palm trees surrounding the condos. 3rd Floor top unit (but only one flight of... more stairs from the lot behind) gave us a wide expanse of ocean...about 500 yds distant past a golf course surrounding the complex. Sandy beaches are just down alii drive with gentle coves for snorkeling, lifeguards, bath house, shower, family style beach location..more adventuresome waters are not far away either. A basket of fresh fruit was waiting when we arrived..this unit was by far the best, Many bath towels and assorted goodies, beach towels, snorkeling gear, sun lotion, kitchen touches like cooking spices, foil, baggies, a beach bag, hair dryer, and just dozens of little things that you often forget to bring. Dishwasher with soap, disposal, microwave, refrig with ice maker & water in the door, laundry with supplies off kitchen, plenty of closets extra hangers, many dishes pots and pans, cooler for beach, you get the idea. Huge shower, two bathroom sinks...very nice bed, two TVs, dvd, video, wireless in the unit, nice "quiet" pool below for adult relaxation...larger "splash" pool for families was down by the restaurant and offices. Tennis courts. Nearby supermarket, drug store, pizza place, sports bar, sub shop, movie theater...this was just an ideal location...very friendly workers and folks staffing the entry gate. Local handyman zipped right over when we had a minor problem...very conscientious feeling about the place. less

Needs upgrades.

A pleasant enough place, but too many glitches made this a frustrating stay, especially travelling with a child.The unit's owner was kindly receptive to my complaints, and notified the handy man immediately. Points for that...But, between the door knob lock and stuck key,(even security had... more problems opening the door) the toilet tank malfunction (from day one), and the terribly stained bed pillows (which I discovered after stripping the bed upon leaving...) I would not recommend this unit. The bedroom is also very noisy at night from car traffic on alii Drive. My fault for not researching that point more. less
