Keauhou Resort 108, Kailua-Kona Big Island

Great place

Stayed a week in this very comfortable & well-equipped home. Hard to tell from the photos but the ocean view from the big lanai was beautiful - we loved every sunset (great stargazing too on clear nights!) and meal out there. Interior furniture was super... more comfortable, tv large (hard to navigate channels, even for my nerdy husband), best mattress ever (on the last day, found stepstool in closet for getting waaay up there), and easy kitchen to cook in. The home was spotless & only saw an occasional gecko (they eat bugs, so you want them around). Salt water pool was great, grocery store & restaurants nearby... we'd stay there again! less

Such a sweet retreat!

We really enjoyed our stay in Condo 108 at Keauhou Resort and look forward to doing it again in the future! Very well taken care of and and nicely laid out for 2. Appliances very nice , kitchen well stocked with accessories, small appliances and... more dinner wear. The deck was beautiful with great view. Nice collection of beach gear and towels. Excellent TV that can load any streaming apps you have at home, excellent LG OLED. THe bed was excellent and therapeutic. The location of the resort is close to small mall for food, restaurants, and theaters. Very close to beach at bottom of hill, very calm and easy waters near snorkeling adventure cruise area. From the mall you can catch the open trolly bus into Kona town , about 5 miles, for free on a regular daily schedule. That way you don't need to pay the crazy exorbitant parking fees in the city, by the way $62 for a 5 hr parking space in lot or $18.50 an hour. Must be great for the retailers... We found the bus the last day there and wished we had looked into it earlier. The owners were very responsive to any needs we had. The pool was great for an evening dip, very quiet. We've stayed on all four islands and this was one of the nicest places we've had the pleasure to stay! I usually don't say much about an accommodation, but wow, what a treat! Thanks! less

Great Keauhou Condo

My husband and I recently stayed at #108 Keauhou Resort. We enjoyed our stay very much and would return at another time. The unit was very clean on arrival and has the wow factor after entering the unit and walking up to the living/kitchen level... more of the unit. The Condo is in a small community of mix travelers and full time residents. Although the community is older, #108 was nicely renovated with upgrades everywhere. The house is beautifully remodeled with natural monkey pod woods and has an island flair. The bathroom is also updated. The space is wonderful for 2 people, with a large balcony for eating and relaxing, large living area and dining inside. All inside space is air conditioned and also has large ceiling fans. The condo does not have a dedicated work space but with the both indoor and outdoor table, we used indoor table for work. The neighbor on the adjoining balcony reminded us that the community has a policy that telephone/virtual meetings are not allowed on the balcony. This unit does have stairs- it's a tri level with laundry/bathroom on ground level, main level in the middle and King bedroom/bathroom on top level. The pool was very nice with 2 pools, but unfortunately no bathrooms nearby. The condo is about 5 minute walk from the pool. The unit does have a sunset view looking over a few rooftops in the distance. The condo is very well furnished for cooking/eating at home to include spices and simple ingredients. The unit was well furnished for paper products, cleaning products, personal hygiene products and laundry detergent. We also enjoyed using the beach umbrella, chairs, beach towels and cooler. The washer and dryer was very nice to have to manage the wet towels. The condo is well located near shopping center, some restaurants and 2 beaches nearby. Thank you Sally for a very nice stay. less

Great unit

We have stayed in several of the units in this complex and this is one of the best we’ve found. It is roomy, has been updated , has fully appointed kitchen with new appliances. The owners are friendly and reached out to make sure everything... more was as we expected. Highly recommend. less
