Kanaloa at Kona 703, Kailua-Kona Big Island

Fabulous stay!

My family and friend spent five days at this property this April. It was a very enjoyable stay for all of us. The neighborhood is gated and next to the ocean, with convenient access to the fantastic Kahalu'u beach park (a few minutes drive to... more the north) and grocery stores in the nearby Keauhou Shopping Center. The VRBO descriptions and photos of the property are accurate, and it is a comfortable and clean place for up to 5 people (the max capacity is 6, yet the 6th person needs to share a sofa bed with someone). We particularly enjoyed the living room and the lanai with a nice golf-course view. The kitchen is spacious with plenty of cooking utensils. I was surprised there is even a rice cooker in the kitchen! Throughout our stay, I've had a few communications regarding the capacity and facilities in the neighborhood with the owner and the manager, and all my questions were answered in time. The fees for additional guests are reasonable so that we were able to ask our friends to join us. I would definitely recommend this property to all my friends for their stay at Kona. less

Extremely comfortable and quiet condo with great amenities

This condo was a happy accident for us. The condo itself was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The floorplan is laid out great and was very comfortable to hang out in. Absolutely Perfect!

Excellent experience here, all was perfect for our Thanksgiving. The TV is pretty amazing, I have an OLED at home and this one gave it a run for it's money. Great for the Thanksgiving NFL games! The deck towards the golf course is very nice... more and the view of the golf course is great. The deck out back is nice as well to look at the tennis courts and for welcoming visitors. Kanaloa 703

Unit was very dark. No parking space because owner parked their car in the assigned space. The view is great but if you want a bright unit this might not be the right one

Kanaloa at Kona

This is a great place to stay for a family. We enjoyed the convenience of the grocery store up the hill from the condo, the choice of 3 pools equipped with BBQs and that it had the option of air conditioning which we used. It... more was comfortable and clean and came with beach towels, a small cooler and an umbrella for the beach. We purchased a boogie board for our kids from Costco and left it there for the owners and the next family to use. The updated kitchen was a pleasure to use but I found myself looking for some basics such as salt and sugar unsuccessfully. There were several condiments in the fridge however and some oils etc in the cupboard so we certainly aren't complaining. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the condo. less

A Touch of Paradise

The Big Island of Hawaii is one of our favourite places to spend a vacation. This was our second, 3 week, stay at Condo 703 at Kanaloa at Kona. On our third... more day Pam surprised us with a beautiful arrangement of flowers in recognition of our 50th wedding anniversary. This spacious two bedroom condo also afforded us the opportunity to have our son and his family visit us for 8 days. A property manager, provided by Pam, promptly addresses any needs one may have. Many hours of relaxing, taking advantage of the three pools, tennis courts, and enjoying the beautiful grounds and vegetation have left us with lifelong memories. Well-kept gorgeous condo

We came back to this condo for a second time. Same as a year ago, we were greeted by a lovely welcome basket with fresh fruits and chocolates, always a great way to start one's vacation. We really enjoyed the fruits, and even went to... more the farmer's market in Keauhou Shopping Center to buy some more. The room was in excellent shape, decor being nice and comfortable. No noise from the upstairs,which could be bothersome at some condos in Kanaloa with upper floors. We were healed by the beautiful sound made by the wind chime in the lanai. The premise of Kanaloa, with pools and oceans, was pleasant as always. This condo is highly recommended for those looking for a superb holiday. less

Updated recently with great amenities and exceptionally clean!

This condo has been updated with a 60" TV, many new kitchen items including silverware, glassware, cooking utensils, etc. All carpets and lanais have been professionally cleaned. Spacious and beautiful condo close to Kona

We stayed 2 weeks in Pam's condo. The place was clean, very spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything one needs. Also the washing mashine and dryer came in handy with a bunch of triathletes. There was also two parking spots which was excellent... more as we had two cars. Communication with Pam went smoothly prior to arrival. She always replied quickly and helped out whenever needed. I can't really think of anything bad. If the condo had ocean view and was located a little closer to Kona we would have rated it "excellent"! Stay at Pam's -you won't regret it! less
