Wonderful location and home!

We had a full house and enjoyed the space that this rental gave us. It was well equipped with beach towels, boogie boards and beach chairs. The beds were comfortable and on each lanai there were lounge chairs to sit and enjoy the weather and scenery. We even had some friendly family of chickens visit us each day. We had a wonderful gift package waiting for us that welcomed us when we arrived. We would consider returning. Mahalo! less

Princeville 27a

Great condo. We stayed there for a golf weekend and it was perfect. Wish we could have stayed obverse.

Awesome

Beautiful place to stay. Had everything we needed and more. So impressed. Will be back .

Great stay!

The home was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The pool was amazing and had a shallow area in pool for our 1 year old which was perfect. We would stay here again!

Great condo!

This condo was great and actually more space than we needed. The kids loving having their own rooms. Definitely had a welcoming, home feel. A few things had a little wear to them but overall a great condo. We would stay again.

Beautiful Princeville location.

Perfect home for an extended family vacation with the grandchildren. Well appointed large kitchen with modern appliances. Expansive master bathroom with a tub large enough for two. Swimming pool has multiple step areas making for easy access for children.

February stay in Princeville

We found the condo very much to our liking, Very comfortable if not a bit more than we needed for just 2 of us. We did not really utilize the pool or facilities as we were generally out daily until late. We experience a brief issue with internet connectivity which was promptly addressed with clear instructions on how to reset the system. Kauai is a magical place. Mahalo Troy less

Owner/Manager Response

Aloha, Thank you for responding to our request for your feedback on the unit 27a at Nihilani. We are so glad you found the unit to your liking and it is a very spacious unit but the reasonable pricing does allow for even just two guests to want to book.  However it can accommodate up to 8 people making it a great option for a larger group also. Thank you for mentioning our promptness in helping with your brief issue with the internet.  We do respond to any concerns and issues and accommodate as soon as we can. We do hope you can return again soon!

Highly recommended

We had a 9 day stay in this home. I would say that overall the house was incredible. When we arrived there was a very small issue that was quickly fixed with a phone call in the middle of the night to the contact person. The home Was clean and up to standard. Had many supplies readily available which made shopping cheaper. Didn’t have to buy basics such as laundry soap, toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, cooking essentials). Kitchen very well stocked. Nice beach chairs available, beach toys and cooler. We fit 2 jeeps in the garage. Beds were comfortable. The space was perfect for us with 2 families each with 2 kids. I would highly recommend and stay again for sure! My only request would be to have a vacuum or broom available to keep the home tidy on a long stay with kids. There was a little handheld vacuum but no charger found. less

Our favorite, like home

We enjoy the house. We come back to it several times a year, if we can. It has the ammenities of home. We know what is offered and as a result we are able to travel with confidence. We will have what we need and enjoy ourselves. What would help is a mop to clean the floor, dishcloths for dishes. The cooler needs to be replaced as it is missing the pull handle. less

Great Place

This place was great. We had our kids come with our grandbabies and enjoyed the condo very much. The house cleaning could be better though. Floors were dirty and twin beds bedding was dirty. Don't like dirty. We mopped the floor and washed the bedding once we got there. But other than that it was a marvelous place to stay. less

Owner/Manager Response

Aloha, Mahalo for taking the time to post a review.  We are glad you found the townhome to be great and you enjoyed your stay there.   We are surprised that you felt the housekeeping could have been better as we do take lots of time getting the units prepared for our guests and set our standards high.  We really wish you would have called us right away so that we could have sent someone to address any concerns. We of course put fresh linens on the beds before the guests arrive but the washer is there to use if you ever want to refresh the linens during your stay. Thank you again for your comments and feedback.

Very nice!

This was a great townhome. Very spacious and clean with beautiful hardwood floors. Good instructions given on how to get there and access the place. I would definitely rent this townhome again!

Perfect aloha stay

This townhome was AMAZING! It was well supplied, clean, quiet, and had plent of space for our family! We relaxed on the lanai, watched movies in the family room, and the dining table gave us a space to engage in numerous conversations! Towels, washer/dryer, pack n play, and high chair were all perfect! The pool was great, too! We would definitely go back to this tropical, quiet neighborhood for our next family vacation! less

Wonderful!

Wonderful condo that absolutely blew away our expectations! Very comfortable beds and plenty of bathroom space for everyone. Central air was great to sleep very comfortably. Having a garage is a nice plus also which was full of beach equipment and coolers to use. Have definitely recorded which condo we stayed in as we would most surely only stay in that same unit if we are blessed to return to the beautiful island of Kauai again. Highly recommend, can't say enough good about it. You won't be disappointed, except when you have to leave! less

Peaceful and Perfect

We had an amazing, peaceful stay in this condo. It may have been the first time I've traveled and slept really well the first night, and all nights afterwards. We even left the sliding door open to the patio for a breeze and to hear the palm trees. The condo is very nice, new and decorated well. It is well stocked too! I would return and stay here again in a heartbeat. We enjoyed the 2 car garage, pool (although a little cold) and all the beach supplies. We have 2 small children and had to remind them to be quiet a lot- but that was still ok! I would live here if I could! less

Nice unit

We recently stayed in this unit and had a great time. The unit is located in a quiet area with lots of access to walking paths, short drive to beach and sightseeing. The caretaker was helpful when we had issues with the dishwasher. He had someone look at it ASAP and fix it. The pool area was nice but I would have preferred warmer water but it isn't too bad. Hot tub was nice. The great things about our unit that I loved was the washer and dryer (Soap was supplied), blender, big beach towels, ice maker, beach supplies--cooler, chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, umbrellas, etc.). The negatives were; chairs were a bit tired, outdoor furniture also very tired, and would have been nice if there was another tv in the unit. All minor complaints that I wouldn't let stop you from booking this unit. less

Great Stay

We stayed in Unit 27a for 6 nights. It was a girls trip to the island. This is a beautiful townhouse. Very well maintained and very cleaned. It had everything that we needed including beach chairs, towels, fully equipped kitchen, etc. Having the two car garage was a plus too. This townhouse is conveniently located to the one major road. This will be our go to home when in Kauai again. Thank you to the owner for allowing us to stay in their beautiful home. Mahalo! less

Fabulous Condo!

Our family has stayed at many resort condos over the past years because condos are our preferred lodging on vacation. NIHILANI 27A is by far the most wonderful condo we have ever let. It is spacious, immaculately clean and maintained, beautifully decorated, offers a ton of amenities including beach toys and chairs, bath soap, kitchen, dishwasher and laundry soap. The complex and it's pool are lovely. It is also well situated on the North Shore to shopping, beaches and restaurants. As you can tell, we loved it! less

Perfect Place for our Family

This townhome was amazing. It had everything our family of 8 needed. Located on the North Shore we found it a convenient location -- close to many amazing snorkeling spots and beaches. The home is very clean. Master bedroom was huge with a nice porch. Kitchen was very well stocked. We ate most of our meals at the townhouse. Plenty of room for all of us. The complex pool was a beautiful spot with a shallow pool for little ones. The owners provided plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, boggie boards and sand toys. Would definitely stay here again! less

— Karen, Stayed 11/02/2016

Wonderful home-like setting

This was our second stay in 27a Nihilani and once again a wonderful experience. Only two little nits: the water valve in the 2nd bath did not allow a suitable flow from the shower head; the fan controls were all mixed up, turning off/on upstairs fans from the dining room control, etc. Otherwise, it is a nicely decorated and most comfortable 3 bedroom with den/study and laundry upstairs and a nicely fitted kitchen, half bath, dining and living down. I'm sure we'll try to come back again. less

Aloha, Thanks for the great review!  We are so happy that you found the townhome comfortable and accommodating.  When we got your email that the shower was low on pressure after your departure, we did send a plumber there and he has ordered a new part to fix that problem.  We also already have had our handyman take a look at the remotes and reprogrammed them to coordinate with the correct ceiling fans.  We do hope you can come again soon.

Lovely!

The accommodations were perfect for us! The extra beach towels are a plus when we went to the pool. We appreciated the extra touch of sand toys for the kids. The unit was cooled nicely on arrival. Having an on island contact who answered the phone to address housekeeping concerns was reassuring when things came up in the unit. Overall, we had a pleasant stay in the town home and will consider returning in the future. Thank you! less

Exceeded Expectations

The pictures make the place look really nice, but you never really know as pictures can be outdated, manipulated, etc. That said, the condo was amazing. It is very spacious, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. We had 8 people (4 adults / 4 kids) staying here and we felt we had more than enough room. The complex as a whole is very well maintained and centrally located within Princeville (short walks to St Regis, Queens Bath, Hideways Beach, and Sealodge Beach). Management was great to work with prior to our stay and arranged to have a pak-n-play set up for us prior to our arrival for our toddler. They pleasantly surprised us with a welcome bag of goodies, including macadamia nut chocolates. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. less

Owner/Manager Response

Aloha, Thank you for your excellent rating for the unit 27a at Nihilani.  We do try to display the unit correctly and do update our pictures if things have changed within our condo.  It is a spacious condo and we do take our cleaning to a high standard.  We stock the units well in hopes of making each stay an amazing experience.  Located in the center of Princeville, it is a good location.  As a management team, we do try to work with you to have a wonderful vacation.  Thank you for your recommendations!

Amazing Home!

The town home was wonderful. It was stocked with everything we would need. The majority of our experience was positive. The 2 downsides were the town home community is not kid friendly. Many of the other owners were very vocal about their displeasure with the children in the being at the pool, even though they were following all the rules. The only other problem with unit 27a is the very uncomfortable beds. They are extremely hard. less

— Tonia, Stayed 04/18/2016

Owner/Manager Response

We so appreciate taking the time to post a review.  We do try to have everything one would need to make a great vacation and are happy you had a positive experience.  We wish you would have let us know about your experience at the pool because we could have spoken to the resident manager about this issue and possibly helped with the vocal owners.  We want to make sure our guests have a happy and comfortable time.  Unfortunately it is very hard to please everyone when it comes to beds.  Some want them hard some want them softer and quite often we get very contrary opinions about the same beds.  It is so very relative to each person.  Thank you again for posting your review.

Great time at 27a Nihilani at Princeville

We had a great family vacation! The condo was large, well maintained property. It met our needs, family of 8, and provided sufficient space: beds, table/chairs, sofa/chairs to accommodate our family needs. The house offered a great place to meet as a family as well as offered lots of options for private moments, as required. Fantastic lanais for morning coffee or evening read! We were pleasantly surprized by the care and attention the owner paid to vacation needs of families. There was sufficient activity related equipment for all ages, beach chairs, snorkels, pool noodles, boogie boards, and coolers. Due to our numbers, we required additional beach towels, and they provided them. We will certainly request this property again. less

Nice condo, Neighbors that lived there did not want tourists vacationing there.

Owner/Manager Response

Aloha,   Thank you for your feedback for Nihilani 27a. Thank you for mentioning that the condo was great as it is very spacious and well equipped for a great vacation. It sounds like you might have had children which typically is not a problem. All complexes do have rules and regulations just as Nihilani does. There are quiet hours which are very reasonable and apply after 10pm.  The pool rules are in place for the children’s safety which I am sure all will want to abide by.

Easter Holiday in Princeville

We would rent in this community again. We are not sure that we would rent this particular unit. We were contacted the day before we left asking an exact time of arrival so housekeeping would have a better schedule. Ok, no problem but then we were emailed again and asked when we were leaving as well. We always stick to the posted arrival and departure schedule but working in Property Management I understand the need to scheduling. This email was sent while on vacation. This again was not really an issue but what bothered us was, one day in the middle of our vacation we came back to the rental to find a maintenance man in the living room installing a new tv. We were not notified that he was coming! This was uncomfortable because we had a toddler that needed a nap and we were trying to get him inside and to bed. Not to mention that we didn't know who this man was and were not notified. In fact we still don't know who he was. He was nice enough but it made us uncomfortable. He also took the housekeeping key with him for a few days and then came back later the week, knocked on the door to tell my daughter he needed to put it back in the box. The community is well kept and the rental was spacious. There are some items that need replacing such as some of the frayed rugs, towels and pots and pans. A lot of the dishes are also chipped. We would stay in this area again just probably not with this rental agency or unit. Not so much because the unit was in bad shape but because we never really felt comfortable after the maintenance intrusion. less

LOVED the house. Everything was very well maintained. Enjoyed laying out on the patio and balconies. Great North Shore location.

Well appointed townhouse in the Princeville complex

My family of 4 (husband and 10 and 13 year old boys) had a weeklong stay during the Christmas break at the Nihilani. This was our third stay at a 3 bedroom townhouse at the Nihilani - each time in a different unit. This unit is immaculate and well appointed. For a fraction of the price of staying at the Westin or the st Regis down the road, you get tons of space, a washer and dryer, a full kitchen, etc. The only slight complaint was that the unit does not get much sunlight. If a/c is a must - then this is the place to stay. less

— TravelPLKT, Stayed 02/25/2015

Owner/Manager Response

Aloha, We appreciate when our guests take the time to give us their reviews and we are so happy to hear how accommodating this unit was for you. It is a very spacious unit and very well appointed with all that one might need for their vacation stay. Your comparison to other resorts in the area is also appreciated as the value does not even compare with all that you get in this condo. The fully equipped kitchen for cooking and the beach accessories that are supplied are just some of the benefits that increase the value. Mahalo for mentioning the immaculate condition of the unit as our housekeepers do work very hard at keeping things to a higher standard. Thank you again for your review and we hope you will choose to stay with us again.

Very clean, roomy and comfortable townhome!

We stayed in Nihilani 27a for two weeks in August 2014 during two hurricanes. The property was perfect and staff very helpful in preparing for the storms that did not eventually hit the island. My wife and I traveled with our two children, 8 and 10 years old, and my mother, 71 years old. The town home was very well cared for and clean. It did not feel like a rental property. Also, the location in the Nihilani property was very quiet. The cul de sac seemed to carry more noise and this property was on the interior away from the cul de sac and pool. However, the pool was an easy walk and did not have to walk on the road to get there. Only one bed room faced the busy Ka Haku Road that leads to the St. Regis. You could hear some road noise but the rest of the house was protected from that direction. The surrounding property was also well cared for and nice to walk around. We used the kitchen heavily and could have used a fry pan larger than 8". Otherwise, we had no complaints. Well stocked kitchen and beach amenities. Nihilani 27a was relaxing, clean. It was also wonderful to have a laundry room on the second floor. We would stay again without hesitation. Thank you to the owners and property managers for a wonderfully relaxing stay in Princeville. We are looking forward to our 4th trip back to the island soon. less

Aloha, Thank you for your kind review for the unit 27a at the Nihilani at Princeville complex. It is a very spacious and accommodating unit and we try to have everything available to make our guests comfortable. During time of hurricanes and storm approaching the island we want to make our guests feel comfortable by keeping in contact and letting them know we are here for questions and concerns. We have taken your comment seriously with the need for more frying pans and have since bought three new frying pans in a variety of sizes. We take our comments and take action. We hope that you once again will come back and let us accommodate you in your stay in paradise. Mahalo!

AMAZING

Beautiful Townhome, Great Amenities and fabulous pool. Air Conditioning was great, comfortable beds. Could've used 1 or 2 more TV's.

Really nice place! I loved the lanai's it was peaceful to sit outside. They had baby bottles and spoons which was really nice. Also they had chairs and umbrellas for the beach.

Amazing!

This place was amazing! We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Kauai - from sand toys, beach chairs, coolers to snorkel gear! Everything was well maintained and functioning without problems. If I had to point out specific details that needed minor improvement, it would have been the TV. The remote control wasn't working, so we had to manually change the channel. And the DVD player played our movie in black and white. We had no idea had to change it to colored. less

— jHappy, Stayed 04/08/2014

Fantastic!

I have absolutely nothing negative to say. This place was everything it was advertised to be. Very roomy, well-stocked. Thanks especially for the pool toys, snorkeling gear, etc. We stayed for 9 nights (2 adults, 2yr old toddler, and mother-in-law), and we couldn't be happier. The pool is great, and even has a separated, shaded upper section that is about 4 inches deep and great for infants/toddlers to walk and splash in. The grills at the pool, and the kitchen/dining area of the townhome, are great for home-cooked meals, which is especially helpful, since there's not really anyplace to eat in Princeville (go 5 minutes down the road to Hanalei for some great food). Overall, this rental was an unbelievable value, and we will reserve it again if we return. less

— Josh, Stayed 02/10/2014

recommended this place by a family member and wasn't disappointe

Checking in was very easy. We were provided directions and instructions with how to access the townhome. I never had questions during the process because anything we needed to know was already given to us. Even though we arrived in the dark, it we didn't have much trouble navigating to location. We were using GPS navigation, but unit 27a is located towards the end of the road which makes it easier to find. The home was spacious, comfortable. Had all the cooking goodies we needed to cook dinner some nights rather than have to go out to eat. Anything we may have needed to enjoy a day in Kauai was in the garage. Boards, towels, water shoes, golf balls, coolers, chairs, baby specific items. I wasn't staying with a family but the house literally had everything we needed; even a french press coffee maker for single cups. The complex was quiet, clean. There were roosters (they're everywhere) but they weren't a disturbance at all. The only thing that might be a problem for some people is it's on the North Shore. We were on a golfing trip and most of the courses were about an hour drive away. But the drive wasn't that big of a hamper on our gasoline usage, and we actually enjoyed the scenic drives to/from the North Shore. It was my first time on Kauai, but the Princeville area seemed more quiet and less tourists than the Southern part of Kauai. I actually preferred the North Shore. less

Very comfortable and well furnished, would definitely rent this

The condo was very well furnished from household items to beach accessories and toys. It is very clean and spacious and my family and I would definitely love to stay here again. The location is so close to Hanalei, it is very quiet, pool area is nice. The only item we needed was an add'l television...one for the adults and one for children. Overall, great place! less

Beautiful townhouse worth every penny

Walking into the townhouse my first thought was how beautiful it was and it was much bigger than I expected. Kristen had a welcome bag for us and it was a great way to start our stay. The townhouse is conveniently located near foodland and near all the popular North Shore beaches. Doing my research I felt the price for this townhouse was a steal given the amenities and location. Will definitely be booking here for our next Kauai vacation! less

Beautiful Home

This is a gorgeous townhome, very well kept and extremely inviting. We've stayed at a couple units in this resort and though this one is farther from the pool (and still just a four minute walk max), we thought these beds were the most comfortable. It's well equipped with kitchen items, linens, and all the beach toys, coolers, and snorkel gear you could possibly need. We always enjoy visiting Kauai and this weekend was no exception. From reservation to checkout - it was a great experience. less

Perfect accomodations

My husband two young daughters and I stayed in 27a for a week and loved it. Every possible comfort was thought out and available. The rooms are so comfortable and the beds divine. Its really quiet and peaceful. Anyone who stays here would never stay in a hotel again. This was our third trip to Kauai in three years and without a doubt, we will not be staying anywhere else when we come again next year. Thank you for opening your home to visitors! less

Amazing Condo!

We spent a week here with my family and had an amazing trip. The condo is absolutely beautiful, with every amenity you could possibly want. It was great to have a full kitchen so that we could prepare healthy meals for ourselves. The beds were comfortable and I loved going out on the lanai's for early morning relaxation. We had occasion to contact the property manager a few times and she was wonderful to work with. The condo has several beach toys in the garage (boogie boards, some snorkel equipment, sand toys) which were very nice to have on hand. The only negative we could think of was that the pool in the condo complex has some pretty strict rules. It wasn't really a great place for kids to go. It was immaculate and a beautiful pool/hot tub, but every time we went to swim we were told we couldn't do what we were doing. Basically, the rules are no noise, no pool noodles, no rafts, no snorkels, etc. I think they should just put up a sign that says no kids because kids inevitably will make a little noise while swimming. The resident manager who drives around all day making sure people are following the rules in the complex could relax just a tad. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub by ourselves, but our kids couldn't have any fun. I wouldn't decide against this condo based on that however, you don't really need a pool when you're this close to beautiful beaches! We can't wait to return to Kauai and our fabulous "Hawaii house" as the kids call it. less

Breathtaking Condo...Almost as Beautiful as a Hawaiian Sunset

This condo had all the amenities of home. With extra goodies around every corner (beach mats, towels, some snorkel gear) and the kitchen was equipped to our liking (blenders, utensils, bowls, pans etc.). The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The decor was tastefully done. With our love of the beach, the washer and dryer was very handy to wash out the swimsuits and towels. We traveled around every ounce of the island and thought Princeville was by far the most beautiful. We were a little weary of everything being more expensive on the North shore, but to our surprise, it was very similar. There was one surprise, we left the screen open and a really fat cat called PT Cruiser that wondered in. He said his Hellos and was out the door. Just a neat experience all around. Much Mahalo for a wonderful much needed vacation. I would recommend this property to families, couples, etc. (*There were stairs, so not handicapped accessible and the bedrooms and 2 of the bathrooms were upstairs. Not a problem at all with our family...) less

Paradise at Princeville

Unit 27a at Nihilani at Princeville is a clean, spacious, nearly new condo that comfortably could sleep 8 people. We were a party of 4 and never felt cramped or crowded. The townhome has a fully equipped, modern kitchen with top of the line appliances. The beds are comfortable and the living and dining room furniture are attractive and well-maintained. There is a flat screen tv in the living room hooked to cable and offering many channels. There is also cable internet access which is super fast. The unit is air conditioned, though we found that by making use of the screen doors and ceiling fans, we didn't need to use the electricity. There are 3 lanais, two upstairs and one downstairs with comfortable outdoor furniture for relaxation. The large washer and dryer upstairs was a godsend for towels and clothing. The unit came equipped with plenty of beach towels, boogie boards, beach mats, and assorted beach toys. There is even a high chair for a family with a small child. The unit is in the heart of the Princeville residential area, a mile from Foodland market and 10 minutes by car from the swimming beach at Hanalei. Queen's Bath and Hideaways Beach are a 20-30 minute hike for those who don't mind making their way down (and back up) the steep cliffs. There is also a black-bottom pool with a small waterfall on site. Only wish it had been open beyond 9 PM. All in all, a lovely condo and a great vacation and at very reasonable price!! less

Beautiful!

We so enjoyed this condo! It was perfect for a family of 5 with lots of space and it had everything we needed. It was decorated beautifully yet felt very comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed the pool area and it was close to all of the north shore sights and activities. We felt spoiled by this condo and we hope to come back again and stay longer! less

Great North Shore Choice!

Unit 27a was a great choice for us. The unit and furnishings were high grade (except for one chair in the living room that had some significant wear and tear)and as shown in the photos. Kitchen was well equipped and easy to work in. Location is a convenient drive to the North Shore activities and shopping. Note the Bbqs are shared at the pool, so go early to avoid a wait for grill space. Also, the pool is a short walk, but along the roadway. All considered, we were very pleased with our stay. Thanks aloha Condos! less

Fabulous Nihilani Princeville 27a

We were shocked when we arrived at how clean and modern and tastefully decorated this condo was. It was comfortable and had pretty much everything anyone could need for a 2 day or a 2 month stay. It was a rare surprise to find a rental condo in such exquisite condition and at such a reasonable price. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!! less

Very relaxing stay.

The unit is located on the north shore of Kauai which is a more relaxed and quiet area. The unit was in good shape and was a perfect size for the 5 of us. The pool and hot tub were very nice to. And just a 10 minute drive brought you to Hanalei Bay beach! less

Beautiful rental property!

This condo, 27a, at Nihilani, Princeville, was one of the most beautiful properties we have rented for vacation in the past 10 years. It was clean, located conveniently for us, and just a lovely Hawaiian vacation rental. We hiked and "beached" all day and came home to this immaculate, restful place for the evenings. We enjoyed reading on the patios and decks, having the convenience of the washer and dryer and making dinner over a glass of wine in the kitchen/bar area. The beds and linens were first class to collapse in at night. Having the garage made the car secure. Just a perfect haven for vacation! less

Excellent relaxation

We spent 3 weeks in December 2010 at 27a and found it most relaxing. Nihilani is an upscale condo community with mostly owners or long-term rentals. 27a feels like a home with quality appliances and furnishings and fine detail work in construction. Most pleasant and we did need the a/C at all, although it covers the entire unit if needed. Possible limitations: a walk to the pool making it too difficult to have a cookout (the two grills were inoperable when we were there); no workout-exercise room in complex; beach is a drive away. We would definitely stay here again. less

Beautiful condo, very spacious with all the amenities.

Lovely 3 bedroom condo with all bedrooms located upstairs and living space downstairs. The condo is well furished, however, it lacked a TV in the Master Bedroom. Everyhthing was to our liking, however, the check out policy of 10:00 seems to be on the early side, would prefer 12:00/ less

Luxurious home living

This is a fantastic rental home. We were traveling with our infant for the 1st time so we were looking for something that felt like home and after staying there for a week we didn't want to leave. The home is very well furnished and everything you can think of is already provided -- detergent, coffee filters, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. The beds were really comfortable and the central air conditioning came in very handy. The neighborhood also felt very safe and it was very quiet (except for the morning rooster!). Staying up in Princeville is definitely much more relaxing than the other more touristy cities. less

Easy comfort

We have been coming to Kaui for many years now, and renting different condos. The Nihilani 27a is by far the best value, the most comfortable and the best equipped. It is very spacious and the ac works really well.

We didn't want to go home!

My husband and I stayed in 27a with another couple. It was the perfect condo for our vacation! It was so well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some great meals. We loved grilling down at the pool. The beds were so comfortable, and the showers were amazing. We were so pleased with how clean it was, and we were so thankful for the beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards, etc. We've been to Kauai several times, and this was by far the most comfortable trip because of the condo. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure on the island, and the perfect place to just spend a lazy day by the pool and relaxing in the condo. We can't wait to come back! less

Great time!

This condo is beautiful and fully equipped especially for a family with children. We felt it had absolutely everything we needed for our 5 night stay. It is located very close to the pool which was great too. It was extremely quiet at night time. They also had all the things you will need for a day at the beach. We had no problems at all during our stay and would love to come back again. We loved the island of Kauai! less

The unit was great. The place was clean when we arrived and had everything we needed for a day at the beach. Complex was very quiet and all of the neighbors were friendly. I can't wait to take the family back.

Excellent, well-equipped and spacious.

A wonderful, roomy, homey townhouse with tons of storage, a great kitchen for cooking and plenty of hang-out space. Our family of four thought this was great. About 1.25 miles -- 2.5 miles roundtrip for a perfect morning walk or short jog -- gets you down to the St. Regis entry with wonderful views of the ocean from the lawn and bluffs. Foodland grocery is just outside the gates of the Princeville resort for supplies and food. The town of Hanalei and the gorgeous Hanalei Bay beach are about 5 mins. away by car. less

Dream vacation.

This past August my wife and I took my mother on her dream vacation to Hawaii. We stayed in condo 27A at Nihilani at Princeville. This condo is beautiful. It has everything from a kitchen with everything to an flat screen HDTV, perfect for watching the movies you recorded that day. It is very clean and spacious and Princeville is the perfect place to have your home base when you are staying on Kauai. This condo was the perfect place to come back and relax after a day of site seeing or playing on the beach. There are several beaches close by and great jogging/walking paths. Our only regret is having to leave. If you are thinking about renting a place in Kauai, this is the one. less

This condo was beautifully decorated and was perfect for our fam

We were so happy with the Nihilani Townhome. The place was so beautiful and so close to the pool. This condo was perfect for our family. It was so helpful that the condo had a highchair, pack n play and sand toys for your 22 month old! One less thing to stress about packing. When we come back to Kauai, we will definitely come back to Nihilani 27A! less

Great comfort and relaxation in a very well situated townhome

We had a great time in 27 A. It was beautifully furnished, felt very safe in a good neighbourhood. We really felt at home instantly and it was very relaxing. We spent only 5 nights but could have easily spent 2 weeks :-) Although it advertized only 2 full rooms, it had indeed 2 King size bed bedrooms plus a 3rd room with 2 single beds, so it can fit 6 very comfortably. Bathroom in the master bedroom is really. Good quality linen and towels, and even beach towels are supplied. There is a good HD TV with Hifi sound and a great selection of programs. The pool and jacuzzi are quiet and relaxing. The small shopping center at the entrance of Princeville is very convenient and has a few restaurants (e.g. C&J's Steak & Seafood). North of Kauai was one of our best places in Hawaii and it took minutes from 27A to reach beautiful sandy beaches, one different each time, Hanalei being very close with its shops and restaurants (less than 5 minutes). It took typically 40 minutes to drive to Lihue for the helicopter tour, and less that 1h30 minutes to drive to Waimea at the other end of the island. Princeville feels much greater than Waipuli or Poipu in my opinion, with great tropical vegetation and the moutain right behind. So, no doubt we enjoyed 27A ! ;-) less

beautiful, clean, comfortable condo

We are quite satisfied with our stay at Nihilani 27A. It's conveniently located for exploring north shore sites. The condo is in excellent condition, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped. It's very spacious for the six of us (including two small children) and everyone enjoyed the stay. We didn't use the pool or other common facility. less

Princeville Paradise

This was our second visit to Princeville and the beautiful Island of Kauai. This home was wonderful, perfect for our family. Clean, well set up and organized! We will travel here again! Be sure to take advantage of the great Farmer's Markets and local produce and fish! We were advised to purchase a book about things to do in Kauai, and it made our trip even more perfect. It contained suggestions of secluded beaches and local venues. We beached, snorkeled, hiked and Kayaked. A perfect relaxing trip! less

wonderful condo

We loved staying in unit 27a at the Nihilani in Priceville. The condo was spacious and wonderfully decorated. We used the gourmet kitchen every day. The grocery store right in princeville was very convienent. The princeville hotel is a short distance from the condo and you can see stunning sunsets. The condo was very clean and easy to find. There are a lot of great beaches close by and the (queens bath) just up the road. Overall we had the best vacation in Kauai and the Nihilani felt a lot like home in paradise. less

Great stay!

This property was great for us. First I want to say that it looks just like the pictures and is beautifully furnished. The rooms are huge and there is plenty of space to make yourself at home. And I must say it was nice having a parking garage. It's quiet and peaceful as it is tucked away from any traffic, and it is right near the shopping center which was very convenient. Overall great stay, and would definitely recommend to anyone. less

This condo was absolutely beautiful. It is in a great location. We just loved staying somewhere that felt like home and not a hotel. It had everything you would need inside the condo, plenty of room and just all around gorgeous inside. We wanted to buy one of these condos by the end of our vacation. We will definitely be back and would love to stay there again! less
