  1. This is a privately owned unit and guests are renting directly from the homeowners whose company name is Mau Loa HBR Vacations (as will appear on your credit card statement).   Therefore your reservation is non-transferable between other properties.
    1. This condominium is professionally managed by Vacation Realty Hawaii LLC (808) 822-0272.
    2. Your  on-island contact is Graeme D. Merrin, RB, ABR, GRI (808) 651-7211. graeme@graememerrin.com
  2. Resort Fees: HANALEI BAY RESORT WILL CHARGE YOU $20 PER DAY FOR RESORT USAGE.  THIS INCLUDES  POOL TOWELS,AMENITIES AND WIFI. THERE ALSO IS A $6 PER DAY PARKING FEE PER CAR.  THE GUEST IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING THESE CHARGES WHICH ARE DUE AT CHECKOUT. Resorts that require “resort fees” for guests staying on the property solely make the decision on what the amount of the fees will be and it is out of the control of the owner of this property.  These fees are subject to change at anytime without notice and could change before your arrival and could be different than the original fee stated in your reservation.  We make every effort to communicate changes in fees as soon as we are notified.

  5. Amenities provided by third-party vendors (for example utility companies or subcontractors) are beyond our control.  We do our best to provide services such as cable television, internet, and resort telephones.  Should these be unavailable for part or all of your stay we will do our best to help restore services, but ultimately cannot be held responsible.  Should you absolutely require internet access we recommend you make arrangement for these services through a cell phone company.
  6. A $250 security deposit is required with this reservation and we will process a credit card authorization in that amount prior to your arrival.  This authorization will expire after your departure assuming no damages or fines are incurred.  A charge may result for damage to the condo, missing contents or for exceeding the stated number of overnight guests.  If a guest arrives without notice earlier than the scheduled check in time of 3pm or fails to depart by the required 10am checkout time, their security deposit which is on hold will be charged in full.  Our units hold very busy time lines and the failure to leave on time can cost money and schedule disasters.  Likewise arriving earlier than scheduled can disrupt the busy cleaning flow, cause mishaps and confusions with the housekeeping staff.  Damage in excess of the $250.00 security deposit will additionally be charged to your credit card commensurate with such damage.  Guests are responsible for reporting any damages immediately to the property manager, Kristen Greene, at (808) 346-0386 or kristen@alohacondos.com
  7. The reservation deposit is nonrefundable; however if a cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the check-in date, the full reservation deposit may be applied to a new set of reservation dates in the same condo beginning anytime up to one year from the original check-in date (subject to availability). Cancellations made within 30 days of the check-in date results in loss of all payments.
  8. The regular occupancy for 4323 is 4.  The regular occupancy for unit 4324 is 2.  The regular occupancy for 4323/24 is 6.  Guests are obligated to disclose the actual number of occupants prior to arrival.
  9. We do our very best to have the units clean and in proper working order for your arrival.  Should there be any cleaning or maintenance problems please call your on-island contact at your first opportunity.  We require the opportunity to rectify any problems and will do so in a reasonable amount of time.
  10. At no time should anyone sleep on sofas other than sleeper sofas that are opened up and have sheets on them.
  11. A pack-n-play and booster seat are available at no extra charge, but must be requested via email to  alohacondos@vacationrealtyhawaii.com  at the time of booking or with reasonable notice prior to arrival.  If more than one is needed, it then will be up to the guest to rent one from a local rental company.
  12. Stays of more than 10 days have additional mandatory interim-cleaning.  For example if you stay for 11 nights you would have an interim and a final outclean.  If you stay for 21 nights you would have two interim cleans and one outclean.
  13. Check-in time is 3 PM and checkout time is 10 AM.  Please be certain to plan your arrival and departure times accordingly.  Please understand we have a fluid cleaning schedule to accommodate so all condos are in terrific shape when guests arrive and we need to accommodate last minute bookings.  If we have a back-to-back (one set of guests leaving in the morning and another arriving in the afternoon) the cleaning takes several hours for most units.  For this reason housekeepers need to begin the cleaning at 10:00am.  Extra charges will apply if you have not departed at the start of the clean without having arranged for a late checkout.  To guarantee an early check in or late check out we recommend you book an extra night.
  14. Cleaning fees are based on an average hourly cost.  If the condo is left excessively messy and it can’t be made rent-ready within the cost of the cleaning fee, guests will be charged $37.50/hr for the additional cleaning.
  15. Suntan lotions, after-sun lotions and related products leave bleach-like stains in fabrics.  Please be careful with our upholstery and bedspreads.  We use white towels and white sheets for this reason, but it is not practical to have white sofas and bedspreads.  Please shower before getting into bed, and please sit on a towel if you have sun products on your skin and you want to sit on the upholstery.  Wash hands thoroughly after applying sun products to avoid accidentally damaging fabrics.  Guests are responsible for damage to linens and upholstery from products they use.
  16. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the condo or on the condo lanai and doing so will result in full loss of security deposit.  We have covered lanais, so the smoke gets trapped and blows into the unit.
  17. Air conditioning is available.  Please know that Kauai has the most expensive electricity on the island and condo electric bills run between $450 and $700 a month.  Please help us to conserve electricity and keep our rates down by turning off the a/c when you are not home, keeping blinds closed during the day to keep the condo cool, and keeping windows and sliding doors closed when you are running the a/c.
  18. We provide sheets for each bed and two bath towels per stated guest.  There is no daily housekeeping service, but you are renting 4323 or 4323/24 you are welcome to use the washer/dryer in the unit.  If you are renting 4324 you are welcome to use the coin operated washers by the 4000 buildings. If you have an interim clean included with your reservation we will launder the linens during the clean.  Please do not leave personal laundry in the washer when housekeeping is coming for the interim clean.
  19. We also provide a reasonable amount of amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, tissue, soaps and detergents for your use.  Should you run out, you are responsible for purchasing additional products for the duration of your stay, unless you have an interim clean at which time we will replenish those supplies.
  20. Please make sure that all towels, beach equipment and remotes are left behind at the condo when you depart.  Turn keys in to the front desk. We charge replacement costs for each lost item (cost of item, travel time & accounting).  Generally items are lost because they are left in the rental car, so please check your car carefully before you leave for the airport.
  21. No pets of any kind are allowed except for service animals.
  22. Keep indoor furniture indoors, and outdoor furniture outdoors.  There is a $50 fee if furniture needs to be moved back to its original place upon your departure.  For example, if you move a large glass table, the management company will have to hire someone to go help the housekeeper put it back.
  23. Hurricane or Storm Policy: No refund will be given unless a “mandatory evacuation order” has been given by the National Weather Service for Princeville and the surrounding area.  In the event a mandatory evacuation order is issued we will refund unused portions of rent of a guest currently occupying the property and any advanced rents or deposits collected for a guest that is scheduled to arrive during the Hurricane Warning period.
  24. GUESTS ARE RESPONSILBLE FOR FOLLOWING THE HOUSE RULES OF HANALEI BAY RESORT.  Violation of the rules can result in fines, and guests are responsible for paying those fines.  In severe cases if guests are permanently removed from the condo and from the grounds of HBR by the homeowner, property manager, resort management company or the police the guest will not be refunded for rent paid for unused nights, even if the guest is prohibited from returning to the property.

Condominium living requires each resident to have respect for the needs and rights of others.  The main purpose of these rules is to provide for the enjoyment, comfort and safety of each owner and guest, to protect all the occupants at the resort from annoyance and nuisance caused by improper use of the common elements at HBR and to protect the value and desirability of HBR.

  • Appearance of Lanais
    • Lanai areas shall be kept in a neat, attractive and sanitary condition.  No objects are to be hung on the railings.  At no time should any debris or water be swept from upper level lanais onto lower level units.

    • Smoking is prohibited in all areas on the grounds and in and around the buildings including: all open areas such as lawn areas, tennis courts, the hot tub area and the swimming pool areas and all enclosed areas or partially enclosed areas including but not limited to all lanais.
    • The only exception to this rule will be any areas designated as smoking areas which will be identified by appropriate signage.
    • Violation of this rule shall be subject to the enforcement provisions of HBR and may also result in the imposition of any applicable penalty provisions set forth in Hawaii’s “Smoke Free Law”.
  • Parking
    • Registering your vehicle with the front desk is mandatory and you must display the proper parking permit at all times
    • No vehicle shall be parked or left unattended except in designated parking stalls.  Vehicles parked in handicapped parking stalls must display a current handicap placard.
    • Damage to vehicles and other objects shall be the responsibility of the person causing the damage and the owner.
    • Violators of any of the above parking regulations shall have their vehicles towed away or immobilized at their own expense.

Our family has been blessed and we have vacationed on Kauai on many different occasions. Our favorite place is Hanalei. We have stayed in homes, condos, and hotels in the Princeville/Hanalei area. Hanalei Bay Resort is a great place. Solid accommodations, great views, beautiful pool area, very good bar and grill. We stayed in 4323, which is a one bed room with loft- perfect for our family of 4 with two children 13 and 17. We loved our place, had everything we needed (boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, coolers, even tennis equipment) and the views were unbeatable. Only negative would be that the front desk staffing is thin. When we checked in at 4pm they were overwhelmed with the number of guests trying to check in and there were only 2 of them. When I returned on following days, I saw the same thing with many guests appearing unhappy with the wait time and service. We are a very relaxed family so it did not bother us, but I can see where it may be an irritant for others.

Amazing View in Comfortable Condo

Reviewed by JY

Amazing unobstructed view of Bali Hai from both rooms, as pictured. Very comfortable condo, lovingly decorated, and appreciated the umbrellas and benches outside the door. There was a spell of rain and gloomy weather so we couldn't go out as much and didn't mind at all since the unit was great and the resort had other amenities (pool, tennis, restaurant). The beach is a bit of a trek but you can call for a cart to pick you up. The unit is on the top floor so requires climbing stairs and is towards the bottom of a hill so if you're not up for going up and down, it may not be the best unit for you.

Awesome place, would stay here again. View was amazing and unobstructed of Hanalei Bay as shown in the pictures. Place was very clean and spacious. They provided a bunch of extra gear like beach chairs, boogie board, snorkel gear, etc. in addition to whatever kitchen equipment you'd need to cook with. The resort itself was beautiful as well. Bummer the condo fee isn't included in the cost you pay but other than that there were 0 complaints.

Manager Response

We are so glad you found the unit to be awesome and yes the views are so amazing.  It is like a picture perfect view!   We do try to supply each unit with all that one will need to have a great vacation and make you feel at home.

The resort fee as in most resorts is separate and paid directly to the resort and includes the parking, the WiFi, use of all the amenities such as the pool, hot tub, tennis courts, fitness center, guest lounge, firepit areas, and pool/beach towels.  It is really a good deal at just 20 dollars per night.

The resort is beautiful and has 22 acres of tropical landscaping and the direct beach access is such a plus that most resorts and or complexes in Princeville do not have.

We hope you will take another trip soon.

Hele on to Kauai!

Our family of three stayed here for a week away from the soggy Seattle winter. It was our first trip to Kauai, and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation or a better place to stay. The condo was more than we had hoped for: nicely furnished, plenty of room, comfortable, and an unbeatable view. The kitchen had everything we needed. Early in our trip, we visited a farmer's market in nearby Kilauea to stock up on delicious local produce (tree ripened papaya, apple bananas, etc.). What we didn't get there, we found at the Princeville grocery store. Our days started with leisurely breakfasts looking over Hanalei Bay, followed by a daily visit to some local beach. Then lunch, shave ice, and a return to the Hanalei Bay Resort to cool off in the amazing pool or a stroll around the beautiful grounds. We'd close with dinner out or, even better, homemade in the condo watching the sun set behind Bali Hai. The HBR staff was kind, and our 5 year-old son loved feeding the koi in the ponds near the front desk. We're eager to return!

Manager Response

Thank you so much for the wonderful review!  This is a great condo and you seem to have taken advantage of all the perfections of this unit, from the view to the spacious floorplan to enjoying the outdoor space of the lanai.   This unit does make your vacation extra special and we are glad that you are planning a return!

Beautiful, well-maintained condo with stellar view

This was our sixth consecutive summer staying at Hanalei Bay Resort and we have become fairly picky about the condition and location of the condos we rent. During some of our stays, we've had to split our time between two different units so we've seen quite a few of the condos over the years. This condo stands out. It is well-stocked with kitchen, washing machine, beach and paper supplies and this makes a huge difference. It was very clean--the lovely birds who visit the lanais do make a mess and we've stayed in two Aloha Condos over the years--both of which stood out for having extremely clean lanais. We spend the majority of our time admiring the view and it is not pleasant to stand barefoot or lean on the railing of a dirty lanai. Speaking of the view, it is spectacular from this condo--you will see the mountains, Hanalei Bay, and plenty of rainbows. The condo itself is updated with beautiful tile floors, a lovely kitchen, comfortable beds, nice Hawaiian decor, etc. If I were to criticize anything, it would be that the living room furniture, while fitting in with the Hawaiian decor, is not very comfortable. Regardless, we would definitely rent this condo again. Finally, Aloha condos was very responsive and accommodating when we moved from another HBR condo into 4323 mid-trip. I would definitely rent from Aloha again.

Manager Response

We do appreciate all your comments in the review!  It is so good to know that with all your different stays at the Hanalei Bay Resort, this unit has stood out for you.  It is a special condo and is well equipped and we know that can make a big difference.  Yes the views are so much a part of the Hanalei Bay Resort so the lanai are a special spot that lots of time is spent and we want to make sure that our guests are comfortable in that space.  We do spend extra time there so that the enjoyment of all there is to see is special.  As management we are available and do our best to accommodate the guests in any needs and do respond as soon as possible and thank you for mentioning it.  Please do come and stay again as we would love to have you!

The unit has washing machine & dryer, updated kitchen, and nice shower. It was clean & well maintained. The master bed was comfortable & the views from the lanai could not be beat. My extended family just returned from a 10 day stay in Hawaii and half of it was spent on Kauai at the Hanalei Bay Resort. We were familiar with the resort when we booked, but the accommodations definitely surpassed our expectations.

The resort is lovely - the grounds carefully maintained and the views are spectacular. The tennis courts are really nice and the staff at tennis center are very friendly. Front office staff and bellhops were very friendly and helpful at both check-in and check-out. The pool was great and never crowded. Having the ability to rent equipment there on the beach was convenient and easy. We rented a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) and got good instructions and help for a very reasonable rate. It was a lot of fun and the Hanalei Bay area is perfect for paddleboarding since the water is calm and the Wailua River is very close. The beach at the resort really nice - small but plenty of room for those on it. Lots of reef so fun for kids to explore though it probably wasn't the best swimming beach. There are is also lots of shade options on the beach due to the trees.

The unit we stayed it was really nice. Very updated with pretty furnishings. It was clean and well-appointed - everything you'd need in the kitchen to make meals there if you want. Plus lots of beach gear available for use - beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, cooler,...

Hanalei Beach Resort is an idyllic place & we can't wait to return. We would definitely stay in unit 4323 again.

Thank you for the wonderful review you have posted for us.  This resort does have so many great amenities and we are so happy to hear you found all the staff accommodating.  This unit does have exceptional views and is what makes it even a more special place. The unit itself has been cared for with much love from the owners and is updated and accomodating.  The kitchen is great for making meals and the extra beach gear is always helpful and convenient.  We do hope you will come again soon!

We could not have been happier with this condo! The view is absolutely amazing and the location of the condo is perfect! It is very close to the beach path, the main pool, tennis courts, the fire pit, the Bbq area and the Happy Talk bar (which is great as well!) They have done a great job with using high end finishes and furnishings and have stocked it with anything you could need from beach chairs, coolers, and fins for snorkeling to an extremely well stocked kitchen! The loft area was perfect for the kids and it is very large so they had plenty of room to spread their things out. There is just one King bed though but my kids were fine with sharing it. The master bedroom is beautiful and also has an amazing view with sliding doors that ooen to the huge lanai. We plan on coming back to Kauai soon and will definitely work our schedule out so that we can get this condo again! I forgot to write in the guest book when we left and I felt so bad so I hope the owners see this and know how much their condo contributed to our wonderful trip! Thank you!

Bring your own condiments, as the refrigerator was empty when we checked in. The furniture on the lanai was very comfortable, so we spent a lot of time outside. Be warned about a couple of things, wear bug spray when outside, as I was bitten by many things when we stayed. Also, be ready to hear roosters crowing early in the AM...was not a fan. As for the resort pool/hot tub area, it was just OK. There was construction happening, so sitting by the pool was not very enjoyable for us. This is a large complex, so be ready to walk a lot from car to condo to beach.

Thank for answering our request for a review for the unit 4323 at the Hanalei Bay Resort. We do appreciate the feedback. This is a great unit and does have incredible views and sunsets are very special! The resort is a 22-acre resort which does leave the buildings spread out but the grounds are exceptional. If you do not want the exercise, the bell boys will take you to and from the parking lot or the beach as you desire.

Thank you for noticing that this unit has been beautifully renovated recently and the cleanliness! The homeowners have taken special care to make this condo a special place to come for their guests.

The roosters and the mosquitos are part of island living and seem to bother some more than others. One way to accommodate these situations is to be prepared. You can use mosquito repellants which work quite well (can find green products) or stay in at dusk when they are at their highest activity. They really are particular in who they are attracted to as some people do not get any bites where others get lots. If the roosters might be something of concern bring earplugs which are very inexpensive to purchase. The brilliant colors and feather patterns of the roosters are beautiful and do add to the island landscape as well as the hens and the precious baby chicks.

The restaurant and the bar are still under construction but are hoped to be finished next year. They are a wonderful addition to the resort that has been long awaited and wanted by many returning guests. I am sure they will be a welcome amenity when they come back on board for everybody. There is a second smaller pool that the resort does have, if you prefer to be away from the construction. The construction also is ever changing from day to day in noise levels and some days with no activity at all.

The perfect place to stay!

My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon. It was absolutely perfect! We really enjoyed waking up each morning to have coffee on the lanai and listen to the birds and waves. The view is stunning! There is such a nice quiet on this resort's property, you can't help but relax. The unit was great -- a well stocked kitchen, and lots of little odds and ends you usually don't find in such places. Very spacious, and an extremely comfortable bed. The smaller, quieter pool was just a few steps away, as was the path down to the beach. The resort itself was very nice as well, with helpful staff, beautiful grounds, amazing views, and did I mention great staff? The only drawback of our experience (and it is only temporary) is that the bar and restaurant were closed, so there was no poolside service or walking to dinner/breakfast. We managed just fine, as we could cook in our unit and make our own drinks! The folks at Aloha were also very accommodating. We would definitely come back.

Thank you for the wonderful reviews for the unit 4323 at the Hanalei Bay Resort! This is a very special condo that has been remodeled and redecorated recently and of course the views speak for themselves.  The resort is also a wonderful place and has great amenities. The bar and the restaurant we hope will be open sometimes this year but they are owned by an individual owner so that is out of our control.  However it is long awaited by guests and owners, who are very anxious for the return of  these features.

We are glad that this unit was a special part of your honeymoon and we hope you can come back every year.

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Kauai at this condo. It was even prettier than the pictures. The bed was very soft and comfortable. There was a great welcome package (including Hawaiian chocolates) that really took care of all our immediate needs. They had really comfortable beach chairs, and amazing view, beach umbrella's, boogie boards.. and those were just a few of the things in the closet that we used. The resort is very pretty. I'm so glad we didn't stay in the St. Regis, because this was so much more quintessential Hawaii: lush, green, peaceful. I would go back in a heart beat.

Well this is probably not a review you will use on your web page.On first arrival to the resort we were surprised to see the on going construction and the absence of a restaurant and bar. ( there is nothing posted on either of the adds we found on VBRO or your web site ?)After reaching the condo we learned the AC was non-operational, there were numerous noisy floor fans running, climate in the unit was nearly unbearable !Then I looked for a phone to call the front desk... never found one ? ( that is because there isn't one !) your add reads there is though, with free local calling ?Lastly in our opinion the entire resort is out dated the pool is almost dangerous, the bottom of the pool is way to rough on your feet, the lighting is poor at best, we could not even find the steps at night to get out, not sure how long the swim up bar has been in the current condition it's in, but that is a terrible eye sore. The only positive I can give you is the view of Hanalei Bay is fantastic. To be completely honest, if your company would have been upfront with us on the condition of the unit and resort we would have booked different resort.Sincerely,Jeff Sterbentz

Manager Response

Thank you for your review. We do welcome comments and take them seriously.

There has not been a restaurant or bar at Hanalei Bay Resort for most of the past 7 years due to the change in ownership, renovations, and a devastating fire. Our website has a clear banner with information about changes and construction at Hanalei Bay Resort which comes up during the booking process – so all guests booking with us see that banner.  We do our very best to give full disclosure to all guests at all resorts as maintenance and renovations do have to be completed from time to time. The construction from this process does not impact unit 4323 as it is a distance from the restaurant and the lanai is on the opposite side of the building.

Although a good number of the vacation rentals in Princeville do not have restaurants on site, a nice option does exist right next door at the St. Regis which as a couple of restaurants to choose from and is within walking distance.  There are also many restaurants at the Princeville Shopping Center and in Hanalei.

We are pleased to say that extensive work has been done in the last couple of years.  The condo is beautifully furnished with lots of new pieces, new upholstery, new interior paint, and much more.  The resort has completed new roofing, an exercise facility, a guest lounge, a fire pit which is perfect for watching the sunset, the tennis courts have been resurfaced, the pool decking has been redone and the resort has a gorgeous new lobby.  We expect the Happy Talk Lounge to open in the fall of 2015 followed by the Bali Hai Restaurant in 2016.

We are very sorry the A/C in the living room was not working upon your arrival.  Kauai had a very hot summer and the suppliers ran out of A/C units.  Since Kauai is at the end of the supply line, we have to wait for items to arrive by barge and we don’t have the option of just driving until we find one.  We were told the A/C in this unit would be replaced just prior to your arrival and at the last minute we found out it did not arrive on the barge. We did do everything in our power to mitigate the situation including extra fans and a partial discount on your stay.  The A/C in the master bedroom was functional for the entire time.

This unit is beautifully furnished with comfort in mind. The owners have put a lot of attention to details, and it really shows. We LOVED our breakfasts on the balcony, and our 9-yr-old daughters enjoyed early morning reading in the comfy chairs out there. Some of our favorite pictures are the ones from that balcony view of Hanalei Bay. We were usually gone all day and returned in the evenings to cook dinner. There is no need to buy cooking oils/spices as the kitchen is conveniently stocked with those sorts of things. If your activities are based on the North shore, this unit is a perfect location.

The view from the lanai was spectacular and we spent a lot of time hanging out there. The beds were very comfortable as was the living area. It would have been helpful if there instructions for the DVD player and the overhead fan in the living room did not work properly. There was an old floor fan in the loft that was broken and the maintenance people took it away. There needs to be a replacement fan there. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This condo was pretty much everything we were looking for. Check-in was easy, although it does make it a little more of a hassle since you cannot drive on property and you have to wait on the bellman to take you and your luggage to the condo. If you didn't have much luggage this wouldn't be a concern. The condo itself was very nice. The asian motif throughout the unit was nice, it was well equipped with any "toy" that we might need (snorkels, body boards, tennis rackets, etc...) and all of the appliances were top-notch. The north shore probably isn't the most convenient location if you want to tour the whole island, but it is definitely quieter and it's great if you want to escape the crowds. The view from the lanai is incredible - overlooking Hanalei Bay and directly at Bali Hai. Only drawback I can find with this unit is that you have to pay for internet service and it doesn't offer wifi. However, the resort does have free wifi in the pool area, so this wasn't that big of a deal for us.

The pools were nice we enjoyed the circular pool, {very private} and at the large pool you could get grilled burgers from 11-2.We loved Hanelai Dolphin and one day picked up ahi and sushi to take back and enjoy on our lanai at sunset. Postcards and Mediteranean Gourmet are also good choices for dining out. We had a fun Saturday morning going to the farmers market in Hanelai {we loved Sal's salsa}.Their are great beaches, you can walk down to the beach at the resort,{if you are lugging alot beach cairs boogy boards, call for a tram to take you down to the beach, and you can call them to pick you up[ this beach is shared by the St Regis} The St Regis has a luau on Thursday nights and we enjoyed having a drink listening to great jazz and enjoying their spectacular view {that's on Sunday at 4} We did zip-lining at princeville ranch and that was a fun adventure. We enjoy cooking, and the kitchen had everything we needed (and more) to prepare meals. The BBQ centre was very convenient to the condo. Eating on the lanai was wonderful with the incredible views. The beautiful lanai furniture was one of the many highlights of this condo, with raised table/chairs to maximize the view, and comfy lounge chairs. The in-unit washer/dryer was nice to have, although for those renting a studio unit, there is a laundry facility just a few steps from this building. The king size bed was very comfortable. Both the living room and bedroom had a full wall of windows/patio doors to take in the magnificent views of the bay and Bali Hai. In all of our travels I don't think I've stayed anywhere with a view as beautiful as this!

The owners have thought of just about everything for guests' enjoyment, with boogie boards, beach mats, umbrellas, cooler, etc.

The resort itself is very nice ... beautiful landscaping/gardens, impressive & large free form pool with waterfalls, and nice lobby where the Happy Talk Lounge is.

There are 8 tennis courts spread out throughout the resort.

The walk to the beach down the paved path takes about 5 minutes .... it's a bit of a workout coming up, but we liked the exercise, and for those who want a ride, there is a call-box at the bottom to call for a shuttle to the top.

Can't wait to go back!
