Policies

Deposit and Payment:

  •  A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total rental amount must be received to confirm a reservation.
  • Full payment of the rental balance due is required no less than 30 days prior to the check-in date.
  • A security deposit of $250.00 is authorized, but not actually charged aginst your credit card.  You will not be charged unless there is a need to for damages or other reasons (see general policies below)  which will be discussed with you prior to any charges being run against your credit card.    

Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check-in date can have the deposit applied to a stay at the same Aloha Condos property within one year of the original check-in date.
  • Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the check-in date will forfeit all deposits.
  • Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the check-in date will forfeit all deposits and rental balance due payments.

Cleaning Fees:

  • All reservations are subject to a check-out cleaning fee of $150.00.
  • Stays of more than 13 days have additional interim cleaning fees of $150.00 for every 14 days.  For example, if you had reserved the condo for 18 days, you would be charged for two cleanings total - one interim cleaning and one check-out cleaning.

Check-In/Checkout:

  • Check-In Time is anytime after 3:00 PM.  Early check-ins will incur additional charges.
  • Checkout Time is anytime before 11:00 AM.
  • We can accommodate early check-in or check-out if the condo is not booked on the day you arrive or depart.  The fee for early check in and check out is typically 50% of daily condo rental.

General Policies:

  • Please make sure that all keys are left behind at the condo. We charge a $50.00 replacement fee for each lost key.
  • All condos are non-smoking units and no pets are allowed in any unit.
  • We allow a maximum of four overnight guests for unit 3502.
  • We charge a fee of $15.00 for any missing beach or bath towels upon checkout.

Cleaning Request of Guests:

  • Please make sure you take out the garbage during your stay and before you depart.  The dumpster is to your right when you exit the condo and on the left side of the car port at the very end.
  • We would appreciate it if you would please wash the beach towels before you depart on the last day of your vacation stay.  This really helps the cleaning person on same day guest departures and arrivals.   

 

This condo is OUTSTANDING. Everything you need, everything you want. Amazing deck view, one could stay here for the entire vacation. The sounds and sights of the ocean view is healing, and restorative. Grab a cocktail you just mixed up at the wet bar located on the deck, now this is a vacation! See…This deck is amazing! Go inside, LOTS OF NATURAL LIGHT and windows. Air conditioned!!! The condo is generous in layout and amenities needed for your stay, like lotion, shampoo and conditioner, and laundry detergent for the washer and dryer! All of the convinces of home already waiting, including the kitchen, where you could create any feast, everything you need is here. TV in living room and master suite. Speaking of master Suite… walk in closet, office area, shower with two heads! Again, you could stay here the whole vacation and be happy. Property has three pools and three hot tubs, a tennis court for other options on site. I am definitely planning another vacation to Kona, and I will absolutely stay in a condo owned by Larry! Outstanding property!

Your condo at Kanaloa is the BEST place to stay on the big island. We loved the complex and your apartment. The location is handy to the grocery, drug store, restaurants, post office AND manta rays at night! We enjoyed sunset time at the ocean front pool, watching the pounding surf. There is plenty of shade and plenty of chairs. We talked with the concierge almost every day. The apartment is spacious, with 3 dining areas, plenty of storage space, well stocked kitchen and nice fridge. We would highly recommend Kanaloa 3502.

Loved the condo. The view was amazing. Everything was clean and tidy. The Ocean pool was a must. The location was convenient. The only thing that I would change is air conditioning. This condo doesn't have A/C. It was pretty warm on the days we were there. The condo has fans.

We spent our 25th wedding anniversary at condo 3502. It exceeded all of our expectations. The condo was clean, the kitchen well stocked and the pool toys and snorkel gear were there for us to use. We were just across the street from the family pool. We went every day and night and there were only a couple of days that anyone else was there and we stayed for eleven days. The only recommendation I would have about the condo is to add a air conditioner to the bedroom. It was very hot while we were there and even though we had fans, we had many nights were it was just too hot to sleep without some air conditioning. Other than that - it was perfect!

Grand condo, propre et bien équipé, situé dans un très beau quartier au sud de Kona. Magnifique complexe, très paisible, avec entre autres une piscine située au bord de la mer et une table de ping-pong !!! Proximité de la plage White sands beach pour y faire du boogie surf. À recommander sans hésitation !!!

Kanaloa 3502, A great unit for 1 couple or a small family!

We love our stay in Kanaloa 3502 in July, 2017. The unit is tastefully decorated, has ample kitchen supplies/equipment, great washer/dryer, a comfortable bed, and beautiful view from the lanai. Though it doesn't have AC, there are multiple fixed and moveable fans in the unit that work well. We would definitely stay in this unit again!

We had a very nice stay at Kanaloa Kona 3502. The condo is nice and the grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. I think the price is very fair for what you get in exchange. It was very clean and had all the basic things you need. Hopefully by next time we visit AC will be added to it. We managed to get by with just fans but we were almost never there during the day and at night was a little cooler. We rented before at Kanaloa, usually we rent a larger unit when all of us travel. This time was just me and my daughter. She used the little day/twin bed that is right by the master bedroom. We had plenty of room for both of us. I also love the location! It's very close to Keauhou Bay where Fairwinds cruises are located ( we always do the Manta snorkel and morning snorkel cruise) , the snorkeling beach and only 30 min to The Place of Refuge where we went 3 times for snorkeling, one of the time snorkeling with dolphins ! Also the shopping center is 5 minutes away which was very convenient for groceries, gas, pharmacy, etc. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the condo is at ground floor and towards the end of our stay some very noisy people stayed at the condo above us and made A LOT of noise at 4-5 am and generally all the time they were there. Slamming doors, running, screaming, most likely they had kids. However, overall we had a wonderful stay and will return. Mahalo!

The Kanaloa-Resort is a really great place to stay on Big Island. Nice and clean Resort-location with very helpful and friendly people. The place is really great to reach all the attractions and near Kona is a really nice town. The Owners where really helpful and quick in response. There's no air-condition which is ok, but all the provided fans where dusty. We enjoyed our time on great Big Island and spent more time outside the Condo. Mahalo!!!

Excellent instructions, very clean, well appointed, amazing view from the lanai, handy to beaches, groceries, and retail. Grounds were gorgeous, tennis courts and three pools, ocean was heard all day /all night long.... perfectly wonderful and when we return to Hawaii, we'll most stay there again!!.

A fabulous development in South Kona and specifically at Unit #3502

We, along with friends and family, have had the privilege of staying at Unit 3502 for the past six years.

With each passing year, the Owners have been very accommodating and supportive and have made changes and improvements that have been suggested making Unit 3502 a wonderful place to stay. The washer & dryer are new to the Unit and they are energy efficient, making laundry a breeze. Although we mostly use the nearby BBQ, the stove new to the unit is great to use. The installation of a sun screen across the south-facing lanai and the new west-facing screen door makes the unit much cooler.

We have made friendships with many other Owners and Renters during the time that we have been there. These positive relationships culminated last year with a birthday party honouring thee ladies (age:50) (age: 70) (age:80) with 125 attendees at the Ocean Pool. The catered party had a band and a Hawaiian flame dancer. It was truly "A Night to Remember".

We continue to enjoy monthly "pot luck dinners" at the Ocean Pool and Water Aerobics Classes Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at the Adult Pool from 9am to 10pm.

We have had the benefit of extended stays (3-4 months) and have enjoyed the support of the on-site management company (Castle Resorts-Steve Hicks and his team) as well as the support of the Owners to deal with minor issues that have arisen or suggestions we have made.

Unit 3502 and the Kanaloa development and community are truly a magical place to vacation.

Stayed in December 2016. We had a very pleasant stay. The unit was clean and very well located to some key beaches that we wanted to spend time at. The shopping center up the road with supermarket and restaurants is also very convenient.

The complex is quiet and you have a nice view of an inlet bay from this unit. There is no air conditioning and the kitchen is a little dated, but overall it we had a wonderful stay.

We have stayed many times in various condos at Kanaloa at Kona, and love the beautiful grounds and wonderful location. Condo #3502 is one of the most comfortable and lovely condos we have stayed in there. The furnishings are very nice, the view from the lanai is spectacular, and the condo is extremely clean and well-maintained (some are not!). It was well stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen, had plenty of towels and linens, and also included boogie boards and snorkel equipment. We will definitely stay in #3502 on our next trip to Kona!

Gosh Condo 3502 totally exceeded our expectations. We stayed there for 2 weeks to watch the Iron Man and was so happy in this condo. It has a lovely entrance and for a 1 bedroom it was very spacious indeed. Loved the extra day bed, beautiful space and myself and wife where able to have a bathroom each, wonderful. This condo simply provided everything we could need and more, lots of little extras including stuff in the food cupboards and toiletries too! The owners really had thought of everything (a brand new duvet cover for example!) The most amazing thing about this condo though was the view - total stunning and beautiful, very relaxing and peaceful, we spent hours just looking at the sea. The decor is quite Hawaiian, a nice change for us as we tend to go uber modern, not as flowery as some condos though! Lovely big comfy bed. Although there is no air con, it didn't feel sticky as the fans did a great job even though it was 33 degrees and very hot and humid out.

Beautiful lush grounds, very green, maintained and well kept. Totally loved the adults only pool (there are 3 to choose from) beautiful and classy looking little pool with lovely hot whirlpool!

Lots of places to run outside the resort, we ran alongside the Iron Men in the lead up, so it made the running a little more fun!

TIP - Make sure you pick up your Aloha Privileges Card from the Club Wyndham representative (lovely helpful lady) as soon as you arrive as it has lots of excellent discounts for restaurants and places in Kona.

Stuff we enjoyed:Hired a car and went to the Volcano, lava was out when we arrived too, a lovely jungle and a trip through the cave made this an interesting day out.

Sheraton Hotel (about 2km from the resort) - about £50 each for a 25 minute massage (25% off using the Wyndham card made this massage pretty competitive) we had it outside so we could hear the sea! Free hot drinks,salt room and the steam made this a lovely spa morning (rather than just a little massage), excellent service too.

Manta Rays at night - 77 dollars each, unique experience, loved it!

Drive out to Hawi - very unusual little town, quirky and looked like something out of the wild west (the iron man bike route turns here).

Harbor - worth a visit as tons of sea turtles down there to photograph

Cinema - 1km walk from the resort (at the shopping center)

Yummy Thai restaurant in the shopping center too (good for vegetarians)

TIP - If you go down to the beach in Kona at about 5:30pm-6pm you can get some great sun set photos

Warning - restaurants close very early in Kona, most at about 9pm - so eat early!!!

Walmart is worth a shopping trip - massive choice!

Absolutely loved this condo, the resort, the lush green grounds - would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time on our vacation in Kona and we really enjoyed staying in your condo. The unit was furnished very comfortably and the beds were great. We especially liked having the extra sleeping space! We found everything we needed in the kitchen and the TV was very nice. The condo was convenietly located near the pool and we never tired of looking out at the beautiful view from the lanai. We certainly hope to return someday soon!!!! We would highly recommend your condo.

We stayed in Unit 3502 at Kanaloa, Kona from December 2nd, 2015 through to March 31st, 2016.

The weather was incredible. Only three nights of rain and very little VOG.

We had stayed previously at #3502 and were no disappointed in the view and the beauty of Hawaii.
