To deliver my daughter to University of Hawaii Manoa we had to do a two week quaranatine when we arrived. This condo was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the fresh air, afternoon sun on the balcony, good reliable wi-fi and good reliable air-conditioning. Once we finished quarantine we found we were one block from the beach and there were plenty of open restaurants to visit, all walking distance. We rented a car for one day and were glad to have the free parking too.

Our stay from Jan 6 to Feb 15 2020 at the Waikiki Banyon condo 1906 was very good. The unit was spacious, comfortable, clean and totally bug free. We especially have to say Thank the owner/manager Sean Parsa who was just a phone call away for making our stay pleasurable. A few requests we had were handled immediately and pleasantly. The complex itself Is well cared for and is in close proximity to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We would recommend staying here anytime. We will definitely return.. Thanks again, Sean. It was all good. The only thing that I think what needs a little update is the bathroom. More comfortable balcony chairs would be nice too. Otherwise everything was fine.

This time our trip to Oahu included dropping off our youngest daughter to the University of Hawaii Mānoa. We decided we would try VRBO instead of paying for a high priced hotel. The condo is in a great location. We appreciated the keyless entry, free parking and the space that the condo offered. We will definitely use this property again! Aloha!

My daughter and I stayed at the condo for 5 nights and loved it! Everything was exactly the way that was shown in the pictures and was clean when we got there. All the instructions were clear. The best part about our stay was the location and the view from the condo. It would have been even nicer if the bathroom (the showers area) and the kitchen were a bit more updated, but the rental price was unbeatable for the location. Thank you, Sean, for the place! We had a great stay at this condo. Well located on the 19th floor. Really clean. Kitchen has everything needed. Boggie Board was appreciated by the kids! Concierge was really helpfull and quick to answer on any needs and advices on Oahu / Waikiki. No keys for the door is a plus and a parking spot with a guard at all time! Above all the condo was great! We had a wonderful stay and the location was super close to a beach that was perfect for our 2 year old. Our only complaints would probably be the shower head (not a big issue) and the tracking for the 3 piece slider doors. My husband hurt himself on them multiple times as did my daughter, who also tripped on it. Thank you for accommodating us. Our vacation was wonderful! Oh and the parking spot is a big bonus!!

Stayed here with spouse and two daughters and we had a blast! The place is comfy and well equipped. Great, very safe location, and free parking. Walked everyday to the beach to surf or just hang out. We had a very pleasant 9 day stay in Condo 1906. The condo is well equipped and and comfortable. It is only one block back from the beach and close to a wide range of restaurants. The condo was quiet and very convenient being on the main bus route to Ala Moana. It had a lanai with a partial ocean view and could see the sunset. You had the use of the hotel facilities - tennis court, swimming pool and BBQ's. A very enjoyable stay.

#1906 is the perfect location for exploring Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. The unit and building were clean and staff was friendly. The balcony was big enough for the two of us to enjoy breakfast while being able to see the ocean -- and at an affordable price! I will definitely keep this on my list of options for next time we visit Honolulu.

We are very happy we chose to stay at the Waikiki Banyan Condos, Unit 1906. We were looking at hotels first, but found this option to be much better. The unit was very clean, no bugs! Partial beach view was awesome! Having a kitchen enabled us to enjoy breakfast and lunch in the condo, saving money. 1906 is a great condo. Best part is the parking pass!! We had others in our group that booked through the property management and they still had to pay for parking. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Waikiki Banyan, but first time in condo 1906. What we love about staying here is the location (only 1 block from the beach) and having a full kitchen to enable us to cook our own meals rather than going out every night to restaurants etc. Condo 1906 was very clean upon arrival and having the combination lock door entry was fantastic (don't have to worry about losing keys), it also has an early checkin facility, so for a minimal charge you can checkin in the morning (totally worth it if you catch an early flight). This was one of the better condo's that we have stayed in. We stayed for a month. It was cleaner than most and there were no bugs. The view was good, the bed was comfortable and we cooked most of our meals in the condo using the utensils and appliances. Because of the length of our stay we received two condo cleanings and the cleaning staff did a very good job. The only thing we would have liked is a small table for dining in the living area. We found the stools at the counter rather uncomfortable but then we are getting older. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in September 2017 and it was a great option and certainly a great value for us. Since we weren't going to be in town that long, we didn't rent a car and the location of this unit was within easy walking of anything we needed - beach, restaurants and for light grocery needs. The A/C unit worked great and the condo had everything we needed. The shower/tub area could use some refreshing, but all was clean and in good working order. We would definitely stay here again.

My family (two adults and two kids aged 6 and 4) had a great time last week. We had a car so the free parking with plenty of spaces worked well for us as we were always able to find a spot closer to the elevator. This was great when we had to carry million things for the kids and when they fell asleep in the car. We always ended up going straight to the 4th or sometimes 5th floor for a space closer to the elevator as the first three floors were packed. From the start Sean was very helpful and answered all of my questions leading to our stay at the 1906 condo. We had detailed instructions that were easy to follow. The condo was quite large for two people (a family of four would be comfortable in this space) but I enjoyed the space very much. The lanai was a good extra space to enjoy some views of the ocean! There are beach gears you can use and really appreciate the beach towels. It was also convenient that there is parking included! This was perfect for us girls - daughter, 5 yr old grand-daughter & myself. We were within walking distance of Waikiki Beach and the FREE parking was a bonus! He went over and above our expectations, we extended our stay in Hawaii and moved to this condo for the last 3 days of our stay. The best part about this unit is the location. Only two blocks from Waikiki Beach, but far enough to be quiet as well. The unit is basic, adequate utensils in the kitchen, no dishwasher. The bedroom is a good size. We eventually learned to lift our feet going into the bedroom, after stubbing our toes many times on the railing between the bedroom and the main room. The bathroom is tiny and the tub area needs work. It would have been nice to know to bring quarters down to the BBQ area before we arrived with our dinner, ready to cook.

We only stayed one night and was not expecting a lot, but we found a giant cockroach in the kitchen upon our arrival. In addition, there were sand in the mattress of the pullout sofa so we did not use it at all. The towels had a bad odor like used and not washed or sanitized. Didn't feel like we got our monies worth. Not sure if I would go back. I was glad it was only half day we used it for as we had to catch an early 7 am flight the next morning. One thing we did enjoy was the free parking.

It had everything we could want and the location was great just a couple of blocks off the beach. The condo is nicely decorated and as described. We just loved this condo. We were two adults and two small children visiting from New Zealand and it suited us perfectly. Very well set up and supplied with everything we could need. Lovely and clean too. Just a short walk to the beach, shops, bus stops etc. Absolutely loved it. Owner Sean was just a phone call away if we needed anything. Waikiki Banyan, Condo 1906 was such a great find! The building in centrally located in Waikiki, just a block away from the beach. Complimentary parking was a bonus. As soon as you step off the elevator, the room is directly in front. The condo had everything we needed. It had a fully equipped kitchen, working A/C, and wireless connection. The unit was very clean and we were fortunate to have found this rental. If and when we return to Oahu, my husband and I will definitely book with them again!

When I looked for my accommodation, I preferred condominiums to hotels because it has more room, cooking facilities and feels like a home. Waikiki Banyan Room 1906 is absolutely comfy and a very convenient place to catch the bus, go to the beach and you can even go to the Diamond Head on foot. I went to the Diamond Head Beach and there were not so many tourists like on Waikiki Beach. Although the view from the room is a partial ocean view, it was good enough to see Hawaii's blue ocean. Moreover, Sean is a very reliable owner. He is always there for the guests.

Because of the lower exchange rate of our dollar travelling to the USA was a bit of a concern....in the end this condo was an important piece of the puzzle to help us realize our dream travelling to Oahu. The location of the Banyan is, in our opinion, its best feature. It's so close to everything in Waikiki, and the buses stop just around the corner to take you anywhere else you wish to go. Another favourite feature was that the unit we stayed in faces the ocean and we could actually see some of it from our 19th floor balcony. Took our 2-year old on his first vacation - having the kid playground at the hotel was great. Enjoyed our stay at the Banyan - clean rooms, nice kitchen, king size bed was comfortable, and having the coin-operated washer/dryer at the end of the hall was handy. Good location to everything, not too far of walk to the beach or to the 'Waikiki strip'. Nice to have FREE parking! With the four of us in the condo, however, we did wish the bathroom was outside of the master bedroom area ;-)

We have stayed at the Waikiki Banyan in different units over the years. Condo 1906 is definitely one that we prefer and would stay in again with no hesitation. The condo has been renovated with granite on the kitchen counters and island. The floor is either tile (kitchen and bathrooms) or wood laminate which makes it very clean. The furniture is comfortable for sitting or lying on while watching TV or reading a book. The location of the condo is convenient to Waikiki Beach, the Ala Wai Canal, and the zoo. The condo faces south and a nice view of the ocean is seen between two buildings...

My friend and I made a split decision booking to Oahu to make some destination wedding plans for my wedding next December and for a little relaxation. A lovely condo on the 38th floor which is clean, well presented with a large deck as a bonus. Only a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Hubby loved the ocean views particularly as he could watch the groups of surfers which frequent the beach from early morning to late evening. There are beach chairs, beach mats, snorkelling gear and a body board available to use. We had our own stuff so didn't need to use but would be an added extra for anyone wanting to stay. I've stayed at the Banyan before and I must say I love how convenient it is. Can walk to the beach, easy to get on H1, close to Safeway the location is hard to beat! Condo 3806 has amazing views, you never forget you are in Hawaii staring at the beautiful ocean! No, there isn't a dishwasher...but you are on vacation, how many meals are you cooking?! The unit was clean and well stocked with chairs and beach towels and even a boogie board. The beds were not super comfy but I've had way worse. Just book it!

I just want to say that we had a very nice time staying in this condo. Everything was as stated, when I did have a question, both Sean and Ryan responded very quickly. The condo was clean and tidy. There were no issues with the elevators, that I could see as they came relatively quickly. I had no issues with the parking - I didn't see the spaces as being too small as some people have written. What a wonderful place to stay with great views! The only complaint would be that there are a lot of minor cosmetic issues (paint, etc), but nothing that took away from our experience. The condo is on the 38th floor with amazing views. It is located close to downtown life and very close to the beach. We rented a car but it really wasn’t needed, we walked almost everywhere. The kitchen is fully equipped and the owner was quick to answer when I had a question. I would highly recommend.

The place was clean and the location good. There was , however, no table. There was a kitchen island with uncomfortable stools that were too high for the island and a high table on the balcony with low chairs, both unusable for eating meals at. TV trays would be a cheap and easy fix. The cushions on the living room furniture lacked structure--after 15 minutes your bum goes numb, 30 minutes and you're in real pain. While the view from the top floor of the building is fantastic, we note a few things to note. 1. There is no dishwasher, which leaves open the question as to just how clean are the dishes in the cupboards? If the previous renter had simply rinsed the dishes after use, then that could be the reason why we got ill after coming home - we don't know, but a dishwasher in the unit would've probably been used by a previous renter or the cleaning crew. 2. We had a great stay in 3806 in Nov 2017. This was our first ever vacation, rental, condo booking and we were a bit apprehensive but everything went very smoothly. We were particularly concerned as we expected to arrive at around 1-2AM and wanted to make sure there were no surprises. My family stayed at the Waikiki Banyan 3806 for seven nights in August. The condo is probably the very best value you can get in living space in Waikiki. The kitchen and living room are nice and the bedroom is comfortable. The washroom is a bit small but not a major concern. The best thing is the location and the view. Amazing location and walkable to the beach. The condo is on the topmost floor so you get a penthouse feeling. It's well maintained and has everything you need if you wish to cook. Not much to say. The pics on the website are accurate. The condo was very clean and suited our needs. While we were there for a family function, for those there on vacation (which is almost all of you), the condo is well stocked for a day at the beach: towels, cooler, chairs, boogie boards, etc. I would recommend this condo.

My husband and I had the privilege of staying in Waikiki Banyan for our honeymoon for two weeks. WOW! The condos are beautiful and very well kept! So close to the beach, grocery stores, Starbucks and a lot of shopping and restaurants. We would absolutely stay there again :) Thank you for making our honeymoon special!

We stayed at the Waikiki Banyon Condo 3806 in May and had a wonderful time. The condo is on the 38th floor, so you have a great view of the ocean. There is covered parking attached to the building. It is about a 20 min drive from the airport and walking distance to all the activities in Waikiki beach. The condo has all the beach gear that you can use. We will surely be back. Thanks Sean!

This was a lovely condo to stay in. My husband and I often come to Honolulu from Kona for a weekend getaway. We really enjoyed staying in this condo. It's in the perfect location to everything in Waikiki you want to do. My husband surfed at both Publics & Queen's! The easy check-in/check-out, free parking and all the amenities make it a real winner. I recently stayed at the Waikiki banyan with my sister for a surf trip for 4 nights and had the greatest possible stay in Waikiki thanks to the condo! We booked last minute and struggled to find exactly what we wanted on such short notice that had a nice ocean view, was close to the beach and was in our price range. This condo had it all! It was a beautiful little gem that looked exactly as it was described. It was clean and had a fully equipped kitchen. The view was breathtaking and we even saw whales from our deck! From the moment I walked in the door of the condo I was so surprised. The photos and videos posted on line do not do the condo justice. It was spacious, the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the views just breath taking. Everything is within walking distance and very convenient. Sean is an absloute pleasure, he answered all my emails, which I was pleased about. I would definitely stay again when we come back to Hawaii. It made our holiday even more special.

The condo was in an awesome location, 400 m from the beach and all the action. You could have great walks to the left towards Diaomond Head or the right to plentiful shops and the Ala Moana Centre. We walked everywhere but bus transport is readily available too. The actual apartment was spacious and extremely well serviced. It also had an amazing view from the balcony. Great apartment for a couple or a family with 2 kids. Communication was very good also, with easy access into the apartment. Bonus having a car park pass, too. Definitely a perfect choice for us!

All were very satisfactory from check-in to check-out. Beautiful view, amenities and kichen stuff. Just one thing was the floor cleanness in the bedroom. Janitor must be advised to clean the area before guests check-in. Absolutely we will go back to that condo when we visit Honolulu again. Mahalo! ^^

There are a lot of good things to say about this hotel. We stayed in the top floor and the elevators were fast and efficient. Very close to the beach, about a 5 Minute walk, and the view from our room was wonderful. A lot of great food places and shopping centers nearby. Pretty much everything was walking distance. The bus stop was very close too. Our room was very nice, 2 beds, tv, stove, microwave, fridge, and AC. It was comfortable and spacious, overall a very good experience. Faucet in the kitchen might need to be replaced.

If you want to have a nice holiday in Oahu, first of all you must have an ocean view as Waikiki Beach is extremely beautiful even though just watching the people who does surfing. Secondly you need reasonably good kitchen facilities to eat well and save money. You will get bored if you eat out every meal. This condo has almost everything for normal cooking like a rice cooker and oven. Having a rent car makes your holiday very special because you will be able to see your tailored scenery and quiet beautiful beaches. This condo is great!! It is in the perfect location in Waikiki and you are within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. No need for a car, but if you do get a car Sean offers a free parking pass. Wonderful since parking can be a problem and also expensive. The view from this condo unit is spectacular!! Also Sean is very easy to communicate with and if you have any questions or need anything Sean has a very quick response time. We had a wonderful vacation and I would highly recommend this condo at Waikiki Banyan!

I highly recommend this condo. Amazing view, modern and clean, comfy beds, kitchen has everything you'll need. Very good size for 4 people. The building also has a great pool, hot tub, bbq, playground and free parking! The only thing I'd suggest that could have made our stay more comfortable is a fan to better help spread the a/c air to the bedroom.

Great condo with beautiful views that's a block away from Waikiki beach. Can't beat the top floor of tower 2 with the ocean view of Diamond Head. The included parking pass made it convenient to come and go as we please. Lots of parking, even on the July 4th Weekend. Make sure you have your key as they lock the parking level doors to the elevator after dark. Lots of places to eat! We found a great place for breakfast and dinner a half a block away, Arancino's at the Marriott. Gotta check it out at least once during your stay.

Nice view from top floor. Location cannot be beat. Updated unit with a few glitches. Shower is a bit dirty and could use a refresh. Pillows were doughy and need replacement. Ac unit was underpowered for the space. Decent but slightly uncomfortable in the early am. Would recommend blackout curtains to help deflect heat from the afternoon sun. Overall would probably stay again. For the money, it is hard to beat. Lots of space for the four of us. Quiet unit. Free parking is a plus. Being slightly away from the main strip of Waikiki is a plus for excursions elsewhere. Close walk to the beach.

Had a great time at the Banyon. Room was clean and had all the basics stocked. Great location, only two blocks to the very kid friendly main beach, shops also close by. Sean was lovely to deal with. Apartment is great for a young family. Everything provided like beach towels and beach stuff like chairs, mats and inflatables. The playgroung downstairs was fantastic. Laundry facilities are actually shared on the floor, and requires coins. While to room has been mostly renovatd it's a bit tired in some place like the paintwork in the bathroom.

We stayed in this condo while vacationing with our two small children, 1 year old and 3 year old. Having a place to stay that provides some of the comforts of home is essential to having a successful vacation with young children. This condo worked very well for us. Very nice place, only one block from the beach! Unit is on the 38th Floor, outstanding views from the entire condo! The Banyans is located on the eastern end of Waikiki, easy to get in and out but still within walking distance of everything in Waikiki. The condo had everything needed to enjoy our stay. There are 2 queen size beds in the bedroom. There are 4 elevators so getting up and down was quick, never had to wait long. Waikiki Banyan 3806 was an excellent choice for my family! The room is newly remodeled and comfortable with a great view. It had everything we needed including towels and a washer/dryer down the hall. The kitchen made it easy to balance between eating out and making something simple at home. We had no problems at all. I was at first unsure how to use the door lock mechanism, but a quick call to Sean solved that simple issue, and he seemed more than happy to help out if anything else came up. Well appointed and convenient condo on the top floor of Tower 2, Waikiki Banyan in quiet side of Waikiki. Short walk to beach and man made lagoon (good for young children) Unit is comfortable for couple. Bathroom is tiny but functional. Bedroom is taken up with 2 large twin beds with little room for anything else. Lots of beach equipment to use. Sean was very helpful and came to fix the air conditioning prior to us checking in.

We travel to Honolulu often and if we aren't staying with relatives, we try to stay on the Diamond Head side of Waikiki or the Ewa side.
