We had a great stay at Nohonani condos. The unit had an incredible view over the ocean. We spent many mornings and afternoons watching whales and sea turtles on our lanai. The pool was great for out little one, with many noodles and swim toys. The little sand beach was also very convenient, and we even saw a sea turtle sitting on the beach one afternoon. And the location itself is hard to beat: you are less than 10 minutes from Whaler's Village and Kaanapali Beach to the south and Kapalua Bay to the north. We had a great time in the condo! Spectacular ocean view, we enjoyed the sunrise and sunset each day, full double rainbow over Molokaui one day, and spotted multiple turtles and whales swimming by. The unit had everything we needed, dishes, glassware, pots and pans. Comfortable beds and sleeping on sound of the waves was amazing. Very close to the famous beaches at Kaanapali and Kapalua. We'll be back some day.

We had a wonderful vacation! This condominium is beautiful in every respect. The view unbelievable; we watched turtles in the surf from our lanai, and took way too many sunset photos. The unit had everything we needed, lots of lovely dishes, glassware, plenty of pots and pans. The decor is lovely and we appreciated the beautiful art work. I cannot say enough great things about this condo. First of all, it has a phenomenal view of the ocean and the islands of Lanai and Molokai. Sunsets were fantastic. As to the unit itself, much thought and care went into the furnishings and amenities. The decor was light and beachy. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking our meals...and why eat out when the balcony ("lanai") has a better view than any restaurant on the island? We enjoyed the easy access to the BBQ, the beachside pool, and the sandy beach. A true gem!

I have come back to #206 a few times and it never disappoints. All of the little things that make your home a home are there in the second floor unit on the corner with an incredible view of the ocean. I can't even begin to express how absolutely perfect this condo is. My daughter and I stayed for two weeks and we had the very best time. The condo has everything you'd ever need or want and the decorating is super fun and all the little extra personal touches were so appreciated. We strung little lights on the lanai railing and used the pineapple candle supplied on the lanai every night while eating dinner. Stayed here before in 2021, but on first floor (#103), this time stayed in room 206 on second floor. Great view and offered a bit more privacy from foot traffic. Only two of us stayed in this unit that sleeps 4 to I guess 6 people. Had one and a half bath and two bedrooms and a washer and dryer to use. All the units at this complex face the water so any choice works, but to stay in this unit was a win this trip. Staff member JD is great and answered all questions. This place is a good choice.

I love the Nohonani Condos, but unit 206 is a special place and this is the second time we have visited this particular unit. The condo is what you think of when you picture Hawaii. You walk into your room and there is a stunning view of the ocean which is literally a stones throw away and you hear the waves crashing all day and night which I love. The condo is well appointed, with wonderful Hawaiian decor. The master bedroom is stunning and overlooks the ocean. The second bedroom is small, but a perfect vacation bedroom for 2 kids. What an exquisite view this condo had! The sounds of the ocean radiated through the entire condo. Equipped with the most necessary items, comfortable beds, and easy access to Lahaina, Ka'anapoli, and Kapalua. This was an excellent choice for our family's vacation. The best private beach with our view of the Kohola, Honu, and lelelele from the deck looking out over that amazing view. A trip of a lifetime, thank you!

Let me begin by saying love love love! everything!. The view was breathtaking, the owner was soooooo easy to work with. Had a little hiccups with one of the toilet and Jan was so on top of it, I didn’t have to worry about anything. The condos provided everything you need and then some. Unit was clean and breezy. Can’t really complain at all.. the price was excellent for being on the ocean front. Loved staying here.. wasn't over crowded at all and the sound of the waves were amazing. We stayed on the balcony the entire time we were at the condo, never even turned on the TVs.. only thing we would have wanted was a bigger beach area out front like we have had before but like I said you can’t beat the price! Our stay at Nohonani Condos was amazing! The location of the condo was great and within short driving distance to some restaurants, food trucks and grocery stores. It's also a quick short drive to Kaanapali, Lahaina and Kapalua which all have swimmable beaches. I have been to this condo many times. We usually travel to Maui with some close family friends. They always stay in this unit, so I have spent many evenings enjoying the sunset from the lanai. Nohonani 206 is a wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed every minute of our 8 days in Maui at this beautiful 2 bedroom condo. We loved our time here. The beds were great, the rooms had cooling fans and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a corner room which had an awesome view of the sea, turtles, whales and sunsets. We had a very relaxing stay at Nohonani 206. The view is breathtaking. The condo was comfortably furnished and had nice extras like beach towels, chairs and boogie boards. Having the doors open with the sea breeze and wave sounds was especially nice at night. We loved watching the sea turtles swim right in front of the balcony and then rest on the beach at night.

The condo is cute and clean. The views are amazing. The sounds of the ocean at night from the master bedroom was so relaxing. We loved our stay at the Nohonani! This was our first stay at this complex. The beachfront location was so convenient and beautiful! The condo was well stocked and very clean. The market, coffee and dining are all very close, most within walking distance. The private beach was rarely crowded and also a pretty decent snorkel spot! We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Nohonani Condo #206. The tree in the pictures was no longer there during our stay, so we had clear views of the ocean and the sunset every night. That was an enjoyable experience. We could clearly hear the calming ocean all day, especially at night. The unit does not have AC and it does get hot during the afternoon without the shades down due to the direct sunlight. There was a nice market a few minutes walk away, and some restaurants within 5 min walk. Very convenient.

What a wonderful experience it was staying in an Ocean front condo!! Hearing the waves each night lulled us to sleep. We have stayed at Nohonani many times and continue to come back due to the properties location and the amazing views of the ocean. This unit had so many extra amenities that we really liked, a welcome bag, postcards/stamps, a box of chocolates etc. The views from the lanai on two sides were amazing. The upgrades in regards to the kitchen and the entire unit were wonderful and we will return and hope to rent this unit again.

The condo was sufficient for what we needed however it did not exceed any of our expectations. The pillows could really be updated, they have no support. Otherwise the beds were comfortable. The screen door could use fixing as it gets stuck when opening and closing. One of the windows in the main bedroom is broken, making it almost impossible to open or close. My family and I stayed at Nohonani 305 for our 2 week spring break. It was such a great spot. 10 minutes from everything!! The unit was private and clean and had breathtaking views. There were whales off the coast and turtles hanging out in the waters in front and on the beach. It was a magical place and we will certainly be back. The property manager Coreen was super helpful with a few questions we had and made sure our stay went smoothly. It was a 5star experience for us!!

Wonderful experience. We had a nine day vacation and had to stay at another location for the first three days. They were great, but once we got to Nohonani, it made those accommodations seem 2 star compared to a 5 star property! As we arrived and walked into the condo, we looked out the window, that looks directly over ocean, we watched a giant sea turtle crawling up the beach to bask in the sunlight. Our friends Renee and Steve from Washington have stayed in this condo unit many times before. Which encouraged our trip this year. They were so excited that we were going that they booked another condo on the main level. And they shared with us some of the improvements the owners had made to our third-floor unit. Where to start. Kitchen lighting is almost nonexistent. Two of four in ceiling do not work. Stuck with a poor microwave light and two in ceiling. Result is all counters are in your shadow when in kitchen. Suggest connected led under cabinet lights. Plug one into power and the rest in serial off the powered one. This condo is a perfect piece of paradise! Located right on the edge of the ocean. We saw whales and turtles and sunsets daily right from the lani. The private beach and pool are so relaxing with no crowds. Snorkeling is great right off the condo beach. We swam with turtles and saw beautiful fish. It was amazing to fall asleep each night to the sound of crashing waves. Nohonani 305 is very comfortable and nicely furnished. We absolutely loved our stay here! Condo #305 didn't disappoint! The only drawback was not having A/C - weather was incredibly hot the first week in August - 90 degrees at 7PM!! Ceiling fans did help, and falling asleep to sounds of the waves crashing! We would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at the Nohonani quite a few times. It is a sweet property right on the water with a great family pool, its own beach and turtles!!! Some of the units have been remodeled. This one hasn't really been updated in the kitchen, baths, furnishings or art. It's very 1980s, but it is very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay!

The location of this condo right on the ocean gave us the chance to see sea turtles swimming below and to glimpse whales in the distance. Two turtles came up on the little beach to sun. We enjoyed adventuring around Maui and returning to this cozy spot to catch the last couple of hours of sun on the beach and by the pool. The complex and the condo were clean and comfortable. As other reviews have noted, the building is older, without A/C and very close to the water--the sound of the waves at night can be loud. Worth it for the view!

We had a fantastic time! Incredible sunsets from the lanai. Saw a whale beaching right from the lanai and many turtles swimming in the ocean and one taking a nap on the beach next door. Great location for everything we did. The condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable although when we were there we spent most of the time on the lanai enjoying the views and the waves. We had a great time staying at Nohonani condo 305 and we will be coming back next year . The entire facility is very friendly and the manager Joe was extremely helpful and facility is very clean and well kept . The beach definitely is rocky but very relaxing and pool is set at a comfortable 80 degrees . The unit was beautiful and had all the items needed except a fan for the condo and Joe the manager provided us one immediately and he is a gem . The area near Lahaina is a perfect setting for a family or adults and all the neighbors were very friendly and we were glad being older ladies...

Had a great time at our favorite location on maui. Nice two bedroom unit with 1 and 1/2 bath. Only problems we had was communicating with owner or manager. Emails unanswered. When I finally talked to someone it was days later and too late. I followed instructions for wifi, could not make it work. Kitchen ware needs to be replaced. Glassware mainly. Furniture in living room very dated. Other than that unit was clean. No air conditioning but not needed. All and all I would still highly recommend this unit!

The unit is on a corner so the balcony has views on two sides that shows the most beautiful, expansive view of the ocean. We had a lovely stay in Condo #305 in late February/early March. The condo is very comfortable and has an outstanding location right on the beach. We loved seeing the turtles on the beach and swimming/snorkeling in the ocean. The condo is just as it appears in the photo and it's walking distance to a few shops for food and necessities--there's a small farmer's market every MWF mornings where we got excellent fruit and salad makings. Nohonani Unit 305 is a beautiful, airy unit. As all Nohonani units are right on the beach, this one is no exception. This seems to be one of the larger units, as we had friends in another unit, which is much smaller. The living room furnishings are lovely, and there are plenty of chairs on the lanai. You can definitely tell this is an older complex, but it was clean and neat. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of closet space. Could use a larger dresser in the twin bedroom. Our stay in Nohanani was fabulous. After traveling all day, the welcome basket full of goodies from the owner, was greatly apprerciated ! On our first day we saw whales, the next day a turtle was sun bathing on our beach all day. The location is fantastic. This is our second time at this condo and had another great experience. There may be newer and nicer condos with AC, but it is hard to beat the private beach and location right on the water. The condo is clean which is also very important to me. A few suggestions are: - perhaps some new pillows and bed linens since they are all pretty tired. - bathroom cleaning supplies since the tub, etc. gets pretty grimy by mid-stay - a floor fan to help push air into the kitchen Really minor stuff and nothing that will stop me from booking again:).

What an amazing experience in Maui for the family and I. We were HOME in our little beautiful condo for 8 luxurious days. Full kitchen with comfy furniture and beds and all the needed amenities. We saved a ton of money by renting a condo and doing breakfasts and some lunches inside the place. Loved being on the beach with the waves crashing in. Kids enjoyed the surf and the clean warm pool. We stayed one night in the condo. The owners placed a very much appreciated welcome basket in the unit for us! It was very fun to be right on the ocean. There were sea turtles near the unit and it was fun to watch them. We stayed June 29th, a very warm day. There is no air conditioning in this unit and it can get pretty warm inside, especially when you are cooking a meal in the kitchen. But all in all, it served our needs. We really enjoyed this comfortable, clean, well stocked condo. The condo is so close to the ocean and the view is absolutely amazing (the photos do not lie!). We saw amazing sunrises and sunsets, rainbows, and turtles swimming past. Beds were extremely comfortable, condo was nicely decorated and felt airy and light, kitchen was user friendly. We could not have been happier with #305. Everything was perfect and as advertised. The apartment is clean and very well maintained. It is easy to see that the owners really take pride in the property and work to keep it up. The location is amazing. You are literally right on the water. This was the first time visiting Maui and there were no disappointments. We stayed for 5 days at Condo 305 with another couple and felt immediately welcomed by the lovely gift basket. Great location for us. Watching the whale action , sea turtles and sun sunsets from the balcony were highlights. Great beaches and excellent public tennis courts were only minutes of driving away. Only small negative was the screen door to the balcony needs some maintenance. Extra positive was the binoculars for the whale watching and lights for going up the mountain to see the sun rise. The condo big enough for all four adults to have plenty of space to relax. The view and of the ocean was beautiful and we saw turtles almost every day. With being right on the beach we could hear the crashing of the waves that made sleeping so easy. We were walking distance to many stores and the Farmer's Market. We spent 4 nights at this comfortable condo. The owners have thought of everything for your stay. You can't get any closer to the ocean. Some work was being done on the outside of the building and Maureen, the owner called me while we were there to make sure the work was not disturbing our stay. This tells me the owners are dedicated to making sure your vacation is all you want it to be.

There were not even one glass that were the same, only 2 glass wine glasses - not a glass juice glass...you feel like they just want your money ! The manager was super helpful with suggestions about visiting Maui, as well as the various amenities at the development. Also the grounds were spotless! After staying at a fairly funky place in Paia, it was a joy to open the door to the condo and find everything so peaceful and clean -- and then, as we approached the balcony, gasps of delight at the beautiful ocean just under us! A few other guests were in the water at the time, showing how much gentler in was than on the north side of the island, and a turtle was on the beach to greet us. I`m so glad I came across the ad for this wonderful condo. The view is unbeatable; there is a private pool downstairs; and it`s conveniently located right next to Lahaina. We just came back from Maui and all we can talk about is when we're going back! This condo was the perfect spot to relax and spend quality time with my family. It had everything we needed and even things we didn't think we needed but did. We found a life vest for my 4 year old niece that fit her perfectly! She was able to enjoy the pool a lot more. The WOW factor happens the minute you walk in the door!!!!! incredible view!!!!! Close to small shops and eateries and a great fresh fish shop! The beach and pool fabulous and the pictures on-line are "right on". Resident -manager is super friendly and takes great care of the grounds, building, etc. We loved listening to the crashing waves and watching the turtles swim out in front of us. Just perfect! Very lucky that the condo is available to rent. It is absolute waterfront. An amazing location. The condo itself is a typical holiday rental, well maintained, spacious with everything you need. The people we met staying at the complex were all very friendly. This was our second stay in condo #305, Nohonani. In 2013, we spent a wonderful week there and this summer (2015) returned with our whole family. It was perfect for a family get together. The condo is comfortable, with many thoughtful touches to make our stay enjoyable. The location of the condo is great! There is a little sand beach on both sides of the building which is very convenient if you want to relax on the beach, watch sea turtles, fish etc but don't want to drive anywhere. Also, small beach park nearby. Condo was very clean and equipped with everything you possible need. No air-conditioning but facing the ocean with great breeze. Our interactions with Maureen and Gerald was great. They immdediately communicated, gave very clear instructions, and the payment was easy to make. The condo was fabulous! This was my first trip to Hawaii. Whale watching was the primary reason for going during this time of the year. It turned out the best whale watching was done right on the balcony of the condo. Our mornings were spent sitting on the deck watching the whales and drinking coffee! The sunrises and the sunsets were spectacular. The condo was clean, spacious, close to everything and very comfortable. We did not expect to spend much time at the condo when we arrived, but it was a nice surprise to enjoy the island without having to leave the condo.

The view sitting on the lanaii, from the living room and master bedroom is spectacular. Each day we watched whales with our binoculars and turtles sunned themselves on the beach. We stayed for one week at this condo. The location was ideal if your looking for beach front at your front door. From our deck we could watch the sea turtles, whales and the sunset. We stayed at Nohonani during the first of February. Loved the condo, location and of course the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. Spent hours whale watching from the balcony...so very cool. Seemed to have everything we needed, have few concerns but here they are: As the condo doesnt have a/C, we were dependent on the ceiling fans, received a request from onsite mgr not to run the bedroom fan on high as the humming bothered adjacent tenants...go figure. Thank you for the opertunity to live in your personal piece of paradise. Second time we stayed at Nohonani, and we plan on returning as soon as we can. The place was spotless, the views over the top. The other guests living, or staying there were friendly. Joe, the manager was courtious and very helpful. We had everything we needed for an 8 day visit. We rented two condos and 305 was great! Clean, airy, bright,fully stocked kitchen(utensils),some water toys and even a goodie bag upon check-in. It's convenient to dine in or out with wonderful food shopping or restaurants nearby. Seeing turtles in the surf and on the sand, being lulled to sleep by the ocean, and watching whales breach make this place very special.

This was our second stay at condo 305. We had a wonderful time. The condo is so comfortable, we love that it's right on the beach. We spent a lot of time on the balcony watching the Turtles and Dolphins. We only had one negative request. The binoculars don't really work. You have to close one eye to see through them. I was a little apprehensive to be renting a condo sight unseen with no personal friend recommendation. My other vacations in Maui have been at hotel/resorts. Nohonani 305 was great. Clean, well equipped-we had everything we needed for our stay. Ceiling fans made us perfectly comfortable despite no aC. Washer/dryer was great for towels and wet swimsuits. Dear Gerald, We had a wonderful stay at your condo, thank you. The condo was comfortable, nicely appointed, well stocked and with the exception of 2 small items, everything worked fine. In the masterbed room the ceiling fan "clicked" with each revolution (maddening). I found if I reversed the direction of the fan's spin, the clicking sound at night was tolerable. We didn't actually use it anything but your garbage disposal will likley need replacing soon, when it's on, it sounds a bit like metal on metal spinning empty with the faucet running.

Everything worked out as expected. The set up with the keys was very convenient. The condo was well appointed with everything that we needed including a nice welcome basket. Our week in unit 305 was wonderful. The location couldn't have been better. We loved being right on the ocean and watching the whales and turtles everyday. The unit was very nice and for the most part was very well equiped. There could have been a few more glasses and wine glasses and the cooking pots and cutlery could be updated but on the whole we were very comfortable. It would be nice if the tub was removed and a shower put in the master bath. The tub really dates the condo. We could walk to the grocery store and enjoyed eating at some the nearby eateries. This was our second time at Nohonani 305 and it did not disappoint. The welcome basket is such a nice touch. That night a huge turtle crawled up onto the beach for the night. The next morning we saw more turtles in the water in front of the condo and then dolphins and whales out in the distance. We had thought of trying a different condo this trip but were glad we stayed with 305. It is quite a unique spot! The view from the lanai cannot be beat.

A nice place to stay in west Maui. The condo is a little dated and the carpet at first seems an odd choice, but it didn't really bother us. There is no aC, but if all the windows and sliding doors are open it stayed relatively cool. The view out of the lanai and the master bedroom is fantastic. We're so glad we booked at Nohonani Condo because the view alone is enough reason to just stay home and not do anything else on the Island. As soon as you walk in, you can see the beautiful Pacific Ocean across the living room. It's truly amazing to come home and wake up to this view! My family had an excellent stay at condo 305. This location is awesome. First off, we were greeted with a very nice welcome basket. We ate everything during our stay! The YouTube video on their website does an excellent job of showing you what you are getting. Nahonani is a fantastic condo community. The pool, private beach and friendly people made the visit well worth while. Condo 305 has spectular sun set views as it faces directly west. I like to take pictures, so I made sure we were always back home by sun set. The condo was excellent for our family vacation to Maui. We all enjoyed watching the sunset and the giant sea turtles from the balcony and the location was perfect. Easy access to all the activities and beaches that we wanted as well as swimming in the pool or ocean on site. The condo itself was well kept and spacious. We loved it!

This place is absolutely a must. This condo is right next to the ocean, conveniently located to daily grocery and organic (Vegan as well) place. Very quiet, parking was not difficult. Pool was clean and overall, I highly rate it. We had a toddler, and three of us enjoyed staying at this place. We were able to watch those sea turtles all the time (in October). The balcony was just next to the ocean, the best place to have family lunch/dinner. If we ever come to Maui, this would be our place to stay.

Well loved well equips condo, not high end, but cozy and quaint. Close to the ocean, walking distance to great coffee and some shops. Saw turtles every morning and humpbacks in the distance. Kids had a great time in the pool and the tiny pocket beach. Unit 305 has more privacy than other units so would recommend for that reason. Great sunsets too!! In suite laundry was a bonus but no maid service what you pay for is the cleaning when you leave.

Our kids shared the room with the 2 beds and my husband and I stayed in the ocean front room. We stayed at #305 with our grown-up sons for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute. Arriving late at night to an inviting well-light flat we instantly felt at home. Thanks to the sound advice from the owners and the property manager we had all the best pics and enjoyed our stay very much. The view was really nice but the unit was poorly maintained. It was dirty. Light bulbs were burned out everywhere. Bathroom shower did not even have a soap dish. Towels were old and worn out.Carpet was dirty with stains everywhere. Scattered rugs were a tripping hazard in the hallway.We had difficulty on arrival as the exterior light was out so we had to find something to illuminate the lock box to get in.We were really disappointed.

Condo 305 has all of the comforts of home with the added bonus of the most amazing view and experiences right there in front of you! We had a wonderful stay in this condo! The weather was upper 80's so we spent alot of time at the beach right in front of the condo. It was a nice private beach and there was also a pool right next to it. The kids had a blast playing in the sand and water. The condo had sand toys, lawn chairs, and boogie boards all available to use anytime. It was a comfortable atmosphere inside and we really liked having the kitchen and washer/dryer. The farmers market a couple blocks down had some good finds too! The only thing we missed out on was air conditioning.

Normally condos or hotels do not quite live up to their pictures or description but #305 Nohonani surpassed our expectations. The condo is in the most beautiful location we could imagine. The "virtual tour" of unit 305 was exactly as we found it...clean, comfortable and well stocked with all the necessities and many extras. Internet access was a very pleasant surprise. What a wonderful welcome -- a gift basket and special coffee started off our stay in a well-decorated and comfortable condo. And stepping into the room was like stepping into a photo --- the view of the ocean was a postcard! We were close to shopping, good restaurants (highly recommend Kimo's), and historic Lahaina, with easy parking and a quieter road. One drawback was the lack of air-conditioning in the heat wave we found ourselves in, but the fans did help. We would definitely return - and recommend the place to friends and family.

This condo has an awesome location and is right on the ocean. The master bedroom is also on the ocean front and you are lured to sleep with the sound of the waves. We like being on the 3rd floor for the vast ocean view. The gass grills right on the ocean make for a beautiful place to cook dinner as the kitchen is way to hot to cook in. A nice condo with a great view. We were there at the end of whale season and saw a few tail slaps and one breach. The pool was nice and clean. While we were there some weather came in and the surf was perhaps too big to swim but the beach is beautiful. Coral heads abound and it should be great for snorkeling. Many turtles live in the area and feed right out front during high tide. At one point we counted 5 right out in front of the grill area. Would stay again.

Our family had a wonderful time on Maui. Our condo (#305) at the Nohonani was everything we wanted and more! Each morning we drank coffee on the lani. It was beautiful to watch the clouds explode into pinks and gold as the sun rose above the mountain behind us. We snorkeled right off the beach of our condo and saw beautiful fish, sea urchins, and sea turtles! The owners were so thoughtful, and supplied many extras including Hawaiian CD's and binoculars. Our family of five had a wonderful vacation staying in Rm 305 at the Nohonani. The location was perfect. You can't get any closer to the ocean and we enjoyed watching all the whales and seaturtles from our large deck. The condo was spacious, clean and very well supplied. Beds were very comfortable too. The people at this rental property we wonderful. The owner of the condo was great to work with. They have been updating their condo, but the needs are minor and the could NOT improve the VIEW! The sounds of the crashing waves and the sites of the sunsets were worth every cent. Great experience; as a couple or with children. The private beach and the residents on site make it a wonderful venue to enjoy in any capacity.

Condo is as close as one cold possibly get to the beach. Fabulous views. Extremely well equipped (dishes, books, etc). Only downside -- and it's a very minor one -- is that the entrance to the property is a little dreary, and the elevator is extremely slow. Also, we had been able to sign up for Wifi at the place we had previously stayed at (for $40 per weeek), and we did miss that amenity a little.

My wife and I took our 12 year old grandson to Maui and stayed in Nohonani 205. It was fantastic! He had his own bedroom and bathroom. It has a full kitchen with everything you need. A large living room opening up to a balcony with the most incredible view! Turtles came up to rest in the sun several of the days we were there. I highly recommend this complex and this unit.

We spent 5 days on our short visit to West Maui and just loved this unit! The oceanfront location with small beach and pool (on the ocean side) make the location a perfect setting! The condo was in very clean condition with everything that we needed. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms (showers) was very convenient for our adult son that decided to join us. The sunsets were spectacular setting in between the islands of Lanai and Molokai. We will definitely be back!

Nohonani 205 is a well laid out and wonderfully furnished unit that could not be much closer to the ocean. I watched as many as five Honu (Hawaiian green sea turtles) swimming and dining around the reefs just offshore, and, while it was pretty early for whale watching, I did see several whales from the lanai as well. This was the perfect place for our family vacation. I have stayed at all of the big resorts and wanted a place right on the ocean my kids could experience the sound of the ocean at night and wake up to the beauty of the island. Our family had a wonderful stay at Nohonani 205. We have stayed at multiple units in Nohonani and unit 205 was the nicest. The decor is thoughtful, the furniture is comfortable (the beds are especially comfortable, which can be rare in a rental!) and the kitchen is well stocked. The view from the lanai is beautiful, we saw whales breaching and sea turtles riding the waves onto the sandy beach out front. Nohonani is a great small condo building with a pool right on a small sandy beach, walking distance to some shops, grocery, restaurants and a nice beach park. Can't wait to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nohonani, #205. This was our third time staying in this unit. The condo is nice and clean and met our expectations. The location right on the beach cannot be beat, in my opinion, anywhere on the island. It is quiet and the sunrises and sunsets spectacular. The condo was clean, very well equipped with everything we needed. Kitchen had every kind of dish you could need, plenty of bath and beach towels, puzzles, portable fans, and small coolers. It all made our stay so comfortable. The beach has a nice area to lounge even during high tide (condos next door lost their beach during high tide). We spent six nights in Nohonani #205 and found it to be a clean, well-equiped condo for 3 adults. We loved the pool and beautiful beach which were very close and not crowded. It was very hot and humid during our stay so we truly needed the ceiling fans. The views from the lanai were awesome! We enjoyed relaxing, watching the turtles, and found the location excellent. It was difficult to transfer to a very large resort for a family wedding since we were so satisfied and comfortable at #205. We would highly recommend this property and would choose to stay there on a return trip.

This is the second time we've stayed at Nohonani, unit #205, and we loved every minute! The location can't be beat with easy walking to Bad Ass coffee, shops, restaurants, ABC store, and a local farmer's market right across the street. The Nohonani Condos on the Western Maui coast are a few decades old now but most of the condos have been upgraded by their owners. I recommend the second floor which folks from some parts of the world would call the 1st Floor as it is one floor above the Ground Floor. Having settled that point, allow me to say that the two bedroom and two bathroom condo #205 was in excellent condition, the kitchen was great and the kitchen inventory was totally adequate for any guest. Great homely condo with wave lapping sea front view. Easy access to surrounding beaches and morning coffee! Quiet and friendly Condo building that offers a great alternative to more expensive hotel rooms with water front view. Plus it is a nice option to have full cooking facilities and room to lounge. My family and I stayed for a week and I could not have been more pleased. I'm usually staying at top resorts and this condo is all about location. It is the best unit in the condo, private beach with beaching turtles at your feet and whale watching. So private, but so close to Lahaina and other activities. Tip and Angela have a great book on "insider tips" it's a must read when you arrive. The condo is well appointed with dishes, beach towels etc. The washer and dryer also very useful. You will not be disappointed with this condo.

This gorgeous 2 bedroom condo right on the ocean is breathtaking. The sound of the ocean all day and all night you will come to miss immediately. The condo was perfect for the 4 of us and I believe i had the BEST spot. :) We WILL be back and can't wait. Worth every penny. Love this vacation over any other we ever took. A couple little body boards to use for the ocean would have been awesome too ;) Cant wait to come back.

Our stay was very pleasant. The kitchen was reasonably well stacked with what we needed, since we cook all our meals. The condo was not properly cleaned. It was only vacuumed and there was a lot of red dust on the floor. We had to wash our feet several times a day. Finally my wife mopped the balcony. There were several minor problems. The water pipe to the fridge was broken. On the last day of our stay the man came in and fixed it. Both smoke detectors were malfunctioning, buzzing, and I had to remove batteries. We stayed in Nohonani #205 just a couple weeks ago and can't rave about it enough. The ocean is about 20 ft from the lanai and, although the sound of the crashing surf can be quite daunting (at night especially), the ability to sit on the lanai and watch several whales play in the distance made this property perfect for us. This was our second time to Maui, but the first time at this condo complex and it did not disappoint! The condo itself was super clean with cool tile floors, furnished with everything we needed, and was within easy walking distance of a farmer's market, coffee shop, ABC store, and a few shopping plazas. We were pleasantly surprised when we checked into Condo 205, it presented just as the pictures showed and more. The views from the Condo were amazing, and we enjoyed many lovely mornings eating breakfast on the balcony and watching vacationers stroll up the beach. Nohonani Condo #205 was everything described and more. This is the perfect place for couples traveling with another couple or with one or two children. The floorplan allows for perfect privacy. They even converted the main bathroom into a private en-suite for the master bedroom. The owners of this condo thought of everything. We had all the amenities of home. The condo was located right on a private beach, quiet and tranquil.Our accomodations here were the best that we have expereinced in all of our travels. We saw sea turtles on a regular basis and were only 5 feet away from them in the water, in the evening the turtles came to sleep on the beach. The condo was spotless and comfortable. It was spacious and recently renovated. We had a wonderful stay, the beds were soft and the linins were new! We had a wonderful trip to Maui, and this condo became our home away from home. The location was excellent, and we were able to walk to a convenience store, market and several restaurants. The view was incredible, and the mattresses were very comfortable. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was such a wonderful convenience! We will be staying here again the next time we visit!

#205 is a great choice for people with kids. The pool and beach are uncrowded and there is another great kids beach within walking distance (along with a farmers market, coffee shop, and great take-out) Way better than staying in a hotel with seperate bedrooms and a kitchen plus a patio that couldn't be closer to the ocean!

We loved this condo! The location to the water couldn't have been much closer! The sound of the waves as you slept was incredible, along with watching the turtles roll around in the surf below. We loved the location to the local farmers market, coffee shop, local food dives, and taco truck- all within walking distance. Would definitely recommend this to our friends and already have. We are already looking forward to our return trip- just never soon enough to go back to paradise!

This is an immaculate, well-apponted condo in the perfect spot. It is very obvious that the owners live part of the year here. It does not feel like a rental unit - it feels like a home. We sat on the lanai and watched the rising sun turn Molokai and Lanai orange and pink each morning, then watched the sunset over the islands each evening. We swam at the beach, waded in the pool, walked to the store, and watched the turtles play. All of Maui was beautiful, but my favorite spot was our "home" at 205.

Condo 205 provided a perfect view of the ocean and the sound of the surf. We found the condo to be very clean and comfortable with all that we needed for our stay. We (two couples) stayed at Nonohani Condos #205 from 4/11 through 4/18 2010. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the condo and would certainly return there again or recommend it to others. Some of the highlights... the amenities of the condo itself, seeing the turtles from the balcony in the mornings and evenings, and the proximity of so many places to go.

The condo had anything you needed for a road trip or just a stay on the beach. We didn't mind the travel to the beaches. The area around the condo is not for swimming. The pool is tiny. It is a great relaxing place to watch the whales and the turtles galore. It was big enough for a longer stay. In fact my husband wants to rent it out for weeks. I would stay here again.

Nohonani #205 was exactly what we were hoping for. Right on the beach, beautiful views, whale watching from the lanai, and no crowds. The unit was very clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed. Our first day there, we were invited by neighbors to a pupu party. That level of friendliness continued through out our stay. There weren't many families there, but that did not matter to us or our teenagers. Thank you Tip and Angela for sharing your beautiful condo with us.

We enjoyed our stay at Nohonani condo 103. Upon our arrival the condo was very clean and well equipped, and if you want a location close to beach it cannot be beat. While the ground floor may not be my first choice, it was the location that best met our needs on this occasion, our third visit. The only thing that would stop me from highly recommending Nohonani Condos is it would be more difficult to book vacation next time. If you want a reasonably priced condo right on your own private beach with good snorkeling, lots of turtles and a pool this is the spot for you

We just spent a week in condo #103 and cannot say enough good things about the property. The condo and the entire building were very clean. The view was great. The pool was warm and the tiles at the bottom of the pool were kept so clean that they actually shine. It is so close to the water that you hear the waves crashing 24 hours a day. Great accommodations and had a lovely time. JD (the condo manager) was fabulous! The condo overall was kept in pristine condition - the pool, vegetation, etc. Our individual condo could have been cleaned better before we arrived. Bedroom slider was pretty dusty. We were happy to be back at Nohonani! We have stayed several times at this exact Condo in past years but haven't been back in probably 4 or 5 years. We love the location. The Condo has gotten a bit run down and it definitely needs to be updated and spruced up. This condo was amazing! The best location ever, right on the ocean, you could hear the ocean about 10 feet from the bed and it just swayed us to sleep every night! I loved that the bedroom was also ocean view since most are in the back of the condos. This was our first time in Maui. We were so very happy to find this place. For us, the location was perfect. Great home base in the North. If you are wanting to drive south to say Makena, plan on 45 minutes. The complex was small and quiet. The adjacent small beach was great for a breakfast swim. The Condo was well outfitted and cozy. If we had to find any issue, it was that the night waves could be a little loud 😁. We would stay here again in an instant and i have already recommended to several people.

Overall our stay was nice. The co fo is literally next to the water, close to some stores and near a park where kids can swim on the beach without having to worry about them. About 10 minutes away from Lahaina's front street. The only true downside was the fact that the unit has no Air conditioning and it gets hot in Hawaii. This particular unit should invest in a bigger fan, they had this mini fan available in the unit that simply didn't cut it.

We enjoyed our stay, the location was nice, well supplied unit. As Washingtonians we're used to cooler temps so air conditioning would have been nice. The only bad thing was, waking up at 2am to find a 6" centipede in the bathroom, we spent the next 30 minutes tracking it down and killing it, which wasn't easy, they're built like a tank. I understand if it bites you it is extremely painful for quite a while, up to several days.. Makes us a little scared to come back. The manager Joe was a very likable guy, easy to talk to and friendly.

Unit 103 was a perfect base for our holiday. We've stayed in various condos at Nohonani but never this one. It was an extremely welcome sight to see a care package on the table when we first arrived. Lovely touch! We got a super deal on #103, which was significantly discounted for low season (May). Ground floor is the only way to go in my opinion. You park your car, and are inside the unit in 30 seconds. 6 steps after that, and you are on the beach. Booking with Aloha Condo's was super easy. Without a doubt, Unit 103 is a fantastic unit in an absolutely ideal location. The complex itself is located a short drive to Lahaina's downtown. There are nearby grocery stores so you can stock up on groceries and other supplies. It's also close to beautiful beaches suitable for swimming. We paid the premium rate to stay at Nohonani during the holiday season. Unfortunately, we did not get our money's worth. Although the condo was listed as "sleeps 4", we were charged an additional $15/night for the 3rd person. When we arrived, there were no sheets for the sofa-bed and only 2 beach towels. We spent a wonderful week at Nohonani #103. The unit is a little dated, but clean and comfortable. The best part is the location - right on the ocean (you can hear the waves right outside). There's a tiny beach you can walk out to. As other reviews stated, the outdoor shower for the pool is close to the Lanai for this unit, but it was not a problem at all. The condo is also within walking distance of a few stores / restaurants in honokowai and a quick drive to Kaanapali / kapalua beaches. We absolutely loved the location of Nohonani condos!! We were on 103 right next to the pool and only a few feet from the water!!! Amazing view!!! We listened to the crashing waves all day and night!! The location is amazing! The Apartment has anything you need to make your stay more comfortable and easy. We stayed for 8 days and we didn't want to leave. Ms. Sherryl gave us a warm welcome with some Maui cookies and coffee. She was very helpful by showing us the Apartment and everything on it. Condo was great and the staff (Pua and Joe) were awesome. The small secluded beach was fabulous with a small pool topping it all off. My only negative was I was hoping for a little more quite. Two out of our three days there it was very loud with both of the beach and pool areas dominated by one very large family who didn't care about other vacationers. Without this distraction I would have given a 4 star rating.

Unit 103 is where we stayed and it was perfect for us. No a/c wasn't a problem because the cool breeze off the ocean close by. Right next to the pool and equally close to the ocean so you can hear the waves crash. We really liked it! Would stay there again for sure.

We were very pleased with our condo rental, very clean. I liked that the washer and dryer were right across from our unit. Very convenient, yet we did not have to hear it or have it take up space in the condo. The grounds were lovely. Very close to the water. The goodies were an unexpected surprise! We enjoyed checking each day to see how many turtles were visiting. It was a new experience to read in a lounge chair on the beach and have a turtle keep me company(though we did not get too close). Both the owner and the local island person were very quick on the response time. Everything was easy--booking, check-in & out, cleaning service. The location was even better than described. I've never been in a place closer to the ocean--any closer, and we'd have been swimming at high tide! Turtles lived right off shore and sometimes crawled up on the beach to sleep. This was our 5th time to stay in unit 103, this visit required 2 cleaning fees, additional one our first week, we have never paid that before nor have I even heard of such a thing. I could see offering this as a option to someone who didn't want to clean or change linens, however staying in a condo you expect to do this things. This was the first place we stayed in Maui for our honeymoon. We only stayed for two nights before headed out to Hana. Condo 103 is conveniently located in Lahaina. Steps away from the local Farmer's market and minutes drive to Front Street where all the shops and restaurants are. Lots to see and explore in the area but yet not too crowded either. But we were told that July is the low season, which is good for us. My favorite part of Condo 103 is listening and falling asleep to the sound of the waves. This is one of three ground floor condos that we rented for our large group. The view was wonderful and the proximity to the water made for lovely sleeping sounds. The location of this unit on the grounds is right next to the beach gate and sand rinse shower, which may be an issue if you cherish your privacy. It was not a big deal for us as we were in a large group anyway. The bed was very comfortable :) I did feel that this unit could have used a deep cleaning, specifically the floors near the refrigerator and in the bedroom.

The condo was great. As noted in previous reviews, it was right next to the pool and shower, but that was no problem for us. We loved the convenience and also, the convenience to washer and dryer. The only thing lacking is air conditioning. The breeze and view were beautiful. The condo nicely kept, but I would have liked air conditioning. However, the price was reasonable so I would probably rent 103 again.

The location is fabulous! The mattress really need an upgrade. The unit said it had a rice cooker but it didn’t. I felt the kitchen could of been stocked a little better. The place was clean but no liquid hand soap in the second bathroom. We stayed for ten days and we ran out of paper towels and toilet paper. I brought my own beach towels but was very surprised to see they had many beach towels for use.

This was my second time staying at this complex. The views are amazing, parking is easy, beach and pool access are great. I will say unit 101 is in desperate need of renovation and a deep cleaning. The unit had roaches!! I know I’m in the tropics but did not have this experience in another unit the previous year. The bedding needs to be replaced and couch is stained. The ceiling in the master bedroom looks like it’s falling apart. They have upgraded the kitchen appliances but that’s about it. Get rid of the old dusty decor and get a new cleaning service!

This was a beautiful condo with the pool and beach right outside of your sliding door. Being downstairs, it was easy to have our paddle boards right by our door. Was nice to walk outside and jump right in the pool. Perfect condo location for families kids that want to swim. No carpet so it was an easy sweep to clean up sand that got tracked in. Beds were so comfortable and we all had a great sleep! Would definitely recommend!

The Nohonani has Island Charm, it is a quiet and relaxed location beachside. My favorite thing was to sit with my morning coffee at the wall before the morning quiet hour was over. Pool is active with children while breakfast is being made and same at dinner and after hour. What a wonderful experience. Joe maintains all the grounds and he is excellent at his job. Friendly and willing to give you tips of places to visit that aren’t in the regular tour books. Condos right on the ocean with sea turtles that seem to call the area home. These condos are comparable to the higher priced units you’ll find in nearby Kaanapali. This is our 5th time staying in this condo. We really like the closeness to the pool and water. My mother is 87 and this location is perfect for her. There have been some upgrades in the years we have stayed and much appreciated. The beds are comfortable but could use better pillows. The sound of the waves and the sunsets with views to Molokai are wonderful. If you are istaying over a Sunday, I would urge you to attend the little church next to the market. The service is in Hawaiian and English and the most friendly of any church I have attended.

We stayed for 8 nights and enjoyed the condo very much. It was well eqipped and the view was gorgeous. Being right on the beach was a delight and we saw many sea turtles. The pool was very well kept. The location was excellent. Sherry and Joe were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The only downside was there was no air conditioning although ceiling fans in all rooms helped.

My kids and I stayed in this condo for our first trip to Maui. It was perfect! We couldn't ask for a better place to stay! Turtles were everywhere and would literally swim right next to you. The snorkeling was just like sticking your head in an aquarium and you only had to walk about a foot out from the shore! Store, coffee shop and snorkel rental shop were in walking distance. This was our second time in this unit which is the perfect place for my 85 year old mother. The pool is just steps away from the lanai and the ocean just another few steps. The condo has everything you need for a carefree vacation. When we arrived, the condo was cool and airy and clean. It was very comfortable, and even though it is located only yards from the pool and gathering area, it was private and supportive. The location is perfect being just minutes away from groceries, great food, and more lovely beaches. We found that no one showed up to the pool until around noon and were gone again at sunset so we had the area all to ourselves with a killer view. Loved this condo, location, simplicity, cleanliness and just the lovely beach in front. Everything was just what I was looking for, for my trip to Maui. Peace and relaxation. The condo has been updated with granite countertops and tile flooring and a lovely tile walk in shower. The simplicity of the furniture and décor was just right. Love the turtles out front everyday and all the sea life to view from the beach. Can't say enough good about this place!

While this condo has an excellent location, since it is on the first floor right next to the pool it was very noisy from 9:00-9:00 every day. If you have kids who want to spend all day at the pool, this is a good choice for you. Probably not a good choice if you want some peace and quiet when you are in the condo.

We loved that we were steps away from the ocean. Listening to the waves hit the shoreline every night was wonderful. Condo was very spacious and had everything that we needed. Every nite a huge Hawaiian Sea Turtle came up on the beach right in front to rest. Just magical! It is a little noisey if you go to bed early due to the fact that it also is poolside. But the resident manager kicked all the kids out at 9:00 every night. I know that's not late but when you're out in the sun and doing activities all day ... Well lets just say we never saw 10 pm any night!

We rented 3 ground floor condos as we had a large group. The location was chosen because of proximity to our vow renewal ceremony on Kapalua Beach. The condo beach is very small and not as kid friendly as I would have liked, but the children loved the pool! We all enjoyed the sea turtles that swam off shore and slept on the beach. The facility manager Joe, was very warm and inviting. The condo itself was very comfortable and roomy.

The condo was everything we hoped it would be. The kitchen is well appointed with storage containers and every utensil you can think of. Being on the first floor allowed us to walk from our lanai directly to the pool and beach. It was nice to let the waves lull us to sleep each night and we were astonished by how many whale sightings we saw...too bad we forgot our binoculars

Wow what a great place with its own beach only steps away from your living room. Condo was nicely furnished and had everything you need for an extended stay. Patio and pool were fantastic and the gas grill was an extra bonus. Almost made you feel guilty leaving it to explore the island. Would definetly recomend this to my friends and am sure we will be back there on our next Maui trip.

While we are not huge fans of West Maui, this condo, located north of Lahania offered amazing beach access only a few steps from our own private lanai!! I imagine during whale season the location is perfectly situated with Molokai'i in plain sight across the channel for whale watching. We recommend this condo for anyone looking for a quiet vacation rental or honeymooners (like us).

We had a great time in this condo. If you are looking for a private quiet condo but still close to everything. We had turtles every day on the reef in front and even caught pictures of one sleeping on the sand. Being able to just walk right out to the pool and sandy beach was fabulous.

We loved our stay at Condo 101. It is an oceanfront unit. We used to have our morning tea at sunrise on the beach, and evening tea watching the sun set into the ocean. The kids had a fun time at the little 'private' beach when we were at home. We spotted a sea turtle at this beach and were also able to snorkel there and see fishes. The unit is equipped with full kitchen, dish washer and washer-dryer which proved very useful.

Nohonani condos are a magical place to stay! Condo #104 is a wonderful 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo that fronts right on the beach. There is a pool steps away from the Lanai and you feel the ocean breeze and hear the waves lap at night. The condo is kept up well and the owner was very accessible prior to and during our stay. We really loved this property and will come back to Nohonani!

This was the closest vacation home to beach and water you can get!!! The ocean front complex has the best location in my opinion, minutes from two main supermarkets and many top-rated eateries. During the pandemic, this place provided the perfect sanctuary to our family getaway. We sighted many turtles in the water right from the patio. Nice complex in west Maui. Close to food, shops, beach, and the 30 highway. The space itself was clean and adequate for us (we traveled as a couple). The only negatives were zero soundproofing; we could hear our neighbors during the evening and waves crashing onto the shore at night. The latter might be a positive for some, but light sleepers should take it into account. Good time overall!

This was my first time staying at Nohonani Condos. Unit #104 was Everything I expected & more. The condo had all the necessities I needed like toaster blender microwave stove and full refrigerator. I love this condo for many reasons. This is my 2d and to be many in October’s to come. My only concern is that the new grounds manager doesn’t hold a candle to Joe. In ten days I saw him once while fixing his gate and having parking lot trees trimmed. All the pigeon shit was all over patio and sea wall. We washed ourselves daily. Leaves around and in pool. Never saw him doing anything to improve the grounds or keeping sand out of pool by washing deck. I’ll be back but we sure miss the pristine surroundings Joe provided. See you in October 2020. Love this unit ! Some things that should be addressed : Cleaning should be thorough for $125. Glass shelving unit in living room needs to be dusted. It was very dusty. Vacuum all of unit , behind and underneath sleeper sofa was dirty. Wash bed spread EACH AND EVERY TIME. Bedroom lamps need updating. Lamp shades were old and bent. I had to get a shade replaced . This was our second stay at condo 104. We had friends visiting Maui from Georgia so we decided to hop over to Maui and visit with them. I was happy to see that the condo was available. Still a great view of the sunsets and enjoyed watching the turtles playing in the waves. It was a bit warmer than our last stay so additional fans would have come in handy. Overall a nice condo with a good location and quiet except for the sound of the waves.

Unit 104 is always our choice for a one bedroom condo in Maui. It is so easy to work with Aloha condos and Gary. Views are beautiful. Nohonani offers such a relaxing vacation. We were very impressed when we arrived at the accommodation and were so happy with the location, right on the beach. We walked out on to the lawn every day from our condo as we were on the ground floor and would often sit up on the sea wall with a cool beverage and watch the sun go down. The beach access was fantastic & we swam in the ocean daily rather than the pool. There was turtles resting up on the beach next to us & we kept our distance but still got some great photo's & all in all it was a lovely spot.

We always enjoy our stay at the Nohonani Condos, but feel we must give you some helpful criticism to keep us coming back to this unit. It very much needs a deep cleaning and painting, especially the louvered doors. The mirror above the sink must be moved up as most people are taller than 5'4", and there is no plug in the sink. The sofa is in desperate need of being replaced. We had to put bed pillows underneath the cushions to keep them from sinking down to the mattress below. When we entered 104, we were so happy. What a great condo! We only stay at small condo buildings - they are homier.104 sets back from 105 but we met our neighbors the next am. & visited all the time. Our view was ideal. We were along the path that goes to the pool and our private beach, and worried people would be passing by constantly. Did not happen. Sleeping to the sound of the waves, and waking up to the sound of the waves was pure bliss. All information leading up to the arrival was accurate and timely. We arrived late on a Saturday night and awoke on Sunday morning to the sound of the ocean crashing against the beach, we stepped out of the door and there on the beach was not one but two giant sea turtles! This was BY FAR the best deal we've ever had for a vacation rental. How amazing was it to go to bed to the sound of the ocean just steps away from the door! We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked to cook meals in, all the basic supplies needed were provided. The decor is very nice. This was the last three days of our 13 day stay on beautiful Maui and we wanted to be right on the beach. This place was perfect! What a way to start my retirement. The unit was cozy, clean and comfortable. The beach access couldn't have been closer - just 12 steps out of our sliding door. The turtles came to sun on the beach and we swam around the reefs a few times and we sat on the beach with the comfortable lounge chairs that were provided. It couldn't have been better. Thank you. The condo was very comfortable. It had everything that you would need. It is right on the ocean. If the patio were any closer, we might have gotten wet when the waves broke over the sea wall. Every day the sea turtles came up to sleep on the beach. Every night we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset. Then we went to sleep to the sound of the waves. Now we're back to snowy winter, but it was a fabulous escape.

The condo itself was on a par with the other condos we've stayed in, but what stands out with us is the sand beach that comes with it. Our stay in Maui was fantastic. The condo met all of our needs! I would suggest maybe a rubber in mat in the down stairs tub, my husband did sip and fall. Everything else was perfect. This is a quaint condo which needs some deep cleaning, ceiling to floor, and a fresh coat of paint in some areas. Really can’t walk along the beach here, and you will need water shoes for the lava formations in the water. The waves sound more like a roaring wind than gentle waves and they woke us the first couple of nights. Turtles are a plus, and we watched some whales right off the balcony. Two and a half stars.

The condo was clean and the beds very comfortable. They were just finishing cleaning when we arrived so didn't have to figure out the unlock procedure. The baths, kitchen as well as the main level floors were nicely renovated. The view was everything we hoped, and there were sea turtles on the beach everyday and whales visible from the lani. I wish we had known there were beach towels and binoculars provided as we could have saved a lot of packing space. We didn't discover a lot of things until we did our clean up at the end. Falling asleep to the crashing waves was amazing! Oh did I mention we had at least one Sea turtle show up every evening. The condo was as advertised and more. Walking distance to great food, coffee, and shopping. I wish we could have stayed a few more days. If I get the chance to go back in the future I would love to stay here again! Thank you!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. This condo unit was in an excellent location. It was spacious and had all the amenities that we needed. I loved being able to watch the sea turtles swimming in the ocean in the morning and the sun setting in the evening from our lanai. I like to be fair and helpful in my review: Location was really good, by the ocean, but the lack of air conditioning made this an expensive condo. The rooms upstairs were too warm at night, specially with the sun hitting in the afternoon. Also, the master bedroom upstairs had a bamboo screen as a temporary cover from the roof heat (apparently there was a door there before, now a hole that goes to the roof). We had an excellent holiday here. My mother was also renting unit 104 on the first level, and both were clean, with good space, and adequately stocked. We had some minor issues (garbage disposal and toaster not working), but we got an immediate response, and they fixed the issues the next morning while we were out snorkelling. The onsite caretaker is friendly and helpful. Great family holiday.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and loved it. We got to see a few turtles on the beach, swim in the clean pool, and hang out on the deck with the beautiful view, where we spotted some whales in the distance. DIRTY! Condo was not very clean when we checked in. As both grandmothers were with us the place got properl cleaned by us. The cleaners were supposed to come for a mid visit cleaning (we were there for 17 nights) but we never saw them. (As the place was cleaner than when we checked in they weren't terribly missed. We loved the condo! We were excited when there was a package of Maui treats and water waiting for us when we arrived! The was so nice and much appreciated! We loved relaxing on the lanai and we saw so whales and turtles from our beautiful view!! The only thing that bothered me was the cleaning lady came before 10 am our last morning there asking when we would be out. Check out wasn't until 11 am. We loved this place! We This was perfect for my wife and I, daughter, and our two adult grandsons. Overlooks the pool and the water. We had 3 beach chairs and an umbrella to use. Beach towels were provided. accessing the unit was easy. The unit was clean, no bugs. There is a beach a few feet from the pool. The location was a couple blocks from the farmers market. Very convenient to Kaananpali and Lahaina. We would come back in a flash. Only wish we had was that they provide dish washing tablets for the dishwasher. A minor issue.

This is our third stay in this condo. It recently has been remodeled and is very nice. There are a few minor items that need attention , lights in kitchen were burnt out except one, need to be changed, upstairs glass lever panes are in need of a few replacements. After reading reviews prior to our arrival someone had posted can opener needed to be replaced as it didn't work, can opener still needs replacing. I kept forgetting to pick one up every time we went to store, sorry. The welcome basket is always a nice welcoming gift. Thank you and we will be back next year.

Nohonani Unit #403 was lovely!! The views from the lanai were wonderful. The kitchen is very small but well equipped except that they need a new can opener!! It was very comfortable for our family of 5, and we all thoroughly enjoyed dining on the lanai for every meal. We also enjoyed walking to Bad Ass Coffee in the morning as well as going to the Farmer's Market. The location of the complex is perfect!! Rented this 3 bed / 2 baths condo for a family vacation in October 2015. The location is simply fantastic, directly on the waterfront and the beach; the views of the sunsets are simply magnificent right from your lanai. The unit was recently partly-remodeled and though a bit small, was very comfortable for 5 people. This is the second time my family has stayed in condo 403. The updates to the condo are fabulous. It looks amazing! The unit is clean, the welcome basket is an added touch. The only things that were not perfect was the TV is way too small to watch in the living room and the dish washer is very small also. Other than those 2 things the place is perfect. We had a fantastic ten day stay. Ocean views from all the bedrooms with two islands across the straight. We saw turtles everyday and several came up and spent the night on the beach. We also saw porpoise and seals from the deck. I loved that you could sit on the deck with complete privacy unless you were near the rail on the side. We toured most of the island and this is one of the best locations in Maui.

There is no better view for whale watching and turtle watching. Each bedroom has an oceanfront view. The condo is comfortable and the bedrooms and common area has been upgraded. Both bathrooms, while functional, are a bit dated. The "galley" kitchen can only accomodate one person at a time, but we managed quite nicely. Having the barbecue downstairs was a nice feature. The beach and pool were great. This is a special place and I know I will be coming back.

The view overlooking the beach was beautiful every morning and afternoon and provided an excellent view of the afternoon turtles munching on the seaweed on the beach in front of the condo. The condo is located in a nice area with smaller buildings and stores within walking distance. Many reviews talk about the beautiful views. And this place definitely has an amazing view from the main living area. You will see sea turtles swimming by. The condo's location is right on the beach. The sound of waves fills the condo at night, creating a very relaxing and soothing atmosphere. Every morning right from the bedroom windows you can see turtles feeding just off shore. During the days great restaurants and markets are just a short walk down the street. The area is not over populated, unlike other areas of Maui. The beach on the property is small but absolutely great for snorkeling. You don't have to go more than 5 feet out to see a variety of fish. The Nohonani Condo 403 was an awesome place for our large family to celebrate Christmas! The 3 private rooms gave each couple a place to retreat to and the main living area was large enough to accomodate Christmas morning with many people and presents. We surprised my Mom with a weekend on the West Side of Maui for her 75th birthday. This condo was amazing! It's right on the ocean with a great swimming beach which is a rare find in this area. We have stayed at the Nohonani complex 3 times now and absolutley love this area. The complex is quiet and the small beach is great. I rated it with the 4 stars for the old Hawaiian feel. Our family stayed at Unit #403, for 11 days in April. We really enjoyed the condo, very comfortable, the breeze of the ocean was refreshing and cool during the hot periods of the day. We liked the condo very much. We were right on top of the beach snd loved seeing the turtles eating at night and the many whales out in the water while sitting on our balacony. The only thing we would change is having a few more pot and pans in the kitchen. There was only a large frying pan and no sauce pans. If you love hearing the surf and enjoy sitting on a balconcy viewing the ocean, this is a great place to be, we would certainly come back again and stay at condo 403.

Our family was fortunate enough to book 8 nights at Nahonani Condos and Resort Condo 403. It was a beautiful 3 bedroom condo on the fourth and fifth floor, overlooking a gorgeous beach. The bedrooms were large and confortable, the facility was clean and well equipped, and the beach was fabulous. We sat on the patio and watched sea turtles and rays feeding on the reef. We snorkeled right off the condo beach and saw beautiful fish and coral. The kids had a wonderful time swimming in the pool. It was a great week on Maui!

This was our first visit to the condos at Nohonani and we had 7 people total covering 3 generations of my family. So to say the least, I was concerned how the condo would work with all of us. With just a little bit of TLC, this place could be awesome! It was roomy enough for all 6 of us and had a great view off the lanai of the ocean. The pool was a good size and was kept clean. Sea Turtles were just 10' off the shore every afternoon. Really cool! The scenery was fantastic with the ocean right there. We LOVE coming back to 404 and have reservations for 2017. But, we were disappointed in the maintenance this year. The throw rugs in front of the downstairs master bedroom and in the kitchen were really dirty and stained. They should either be shampooed or replaced. The vent fan in downstairs bath was so dirty and full of dust, lint that I personally cleaned it myself. There was a smell in the kitchen that we couldn't identify. The condo is not glamorous but offers a very comfortable and functional place to sleep, make meals, and spend time on the lanai looking for turtles, whales and surfers. The view is hard to beat! Stayed 1 week in August, 2016. The condo is nice. The two bedrooms and loft with a pull out bed allowed the four of us to be very comfortable. The only negative was the heat. It was hot and humid and I wish we had AC. The fans provided kept us fairly cool at night, but the sound and the blasting air made it harder to sleep well. The location is GREAT. The private beach had sea turtles swimming near shore every day, and twice, one spent hours resting on the beach. The snorkeling nearby at Kapalua Beach and Kahekili Beach was fantastic!!

We had a bit of an ant problem during our stay. When we first got in we noted some ants in the kitchen and someone had placed 3 ant traps on the kitchen counter. While ants are a nuisance we didn't want our vacation disturbed by having someone come in to exterminate the issue. The decor and furniture is a bit dated although the bathrooms have been updated. I would still consider staying again as we love staying at and have been coming here for almost 30 years.

The nicely appointed condo is a perfect setup for two couples. A bedroom, bath, living room, kitchen and balcony downstairs and what is almost a complete unit upstairs with bedroom, bath and sitting area with large window makes this a spacious unit for two couples. Our daughter and son-in-law and we all loved the beach and observing the sea turtles that came to the beach to sun themselves. We have already reserved this unit for next year!

Great property for two couples, they each get a master bedroom and bath. Upstairs gets a huge picture window to watch the whales in season and downstairs gets the lanai. Recently renovated baths. The turtles came on to the beach every night and sometimes during the day. I have stayed at many north Lahaina condos this is the best on the beach and for turtles.

We loved the spacious condo and the location is right on what seemed like a private beach at times. Perfect for snorkeling - turtles, fish and coral all just a few steps away. Beautiful unobstructed sunsets from the balcony were a perfect way to end the day. This condo would be my first recommendation to anyone going to Maui!!

Our stay was wonderful! Loved going to bed hearing the ocean as well as waking up to it as well. The view was beautiful. Sunsets were breath taking!

Excellent location with wonderful pool and beach. Grills were very useful and available. Apt was clean and kitchen well stocked. Bedroom upstairs was quite warm even with 2 fans. maintenance man Joe was very pleasant, helpful, and a hard worker keeping everything neat and working. Great location to small shopping/service area and beach walk. Of course the turtles on the beach every day was a bonus! Met other renters who had been coming for years- best recommendation!

We had a very pleasant experience here. The condo, pool, and beach completely lived up to their advertising. There were turtles resting on the beach every day we were there. The condo was clean and inviting.

When we walked into Nohonani 404 it took our breath away! The view was so beautiful that it felt like a dream. Being so close to the water was amazing. This was the most incredible vacation! We were married here and can't imagine a more perfect setting for a honeymoon. Every day waking up to the sound of the ocean was rejuvenating! We enjoyed romantic walks on the beach, spent hours snorkeling through the reefs and we are in love with the sea turtles! Eating on the lanai and gazing at the water was perfect. The sunsets were spectacular and the air was so refreshing. Nohonani 404 was perfect...

Had a great stay. You have a great place had everything we needed. Great Views!!! Saw lots of whales, turtles.
