What others are saying

Spacious & Comfortable Condo

For three nights in late February my family rented Townhome 24c and we very extremely satisfied with our experience. I was traveling with my wife, 13 month old daughter, and mother in-law. We enjoyed the large common areas and the individual bathrooms were a huge plus. Washer & dryer accommodations came in handy and multiple kitchen supplies allowed us to cook-up a feast and enjoy dinning on the balcony nightly. The swimming pool at Nihilani was superb and somewhat quiet which made it easier on my daughter and more relaxing for my wife. We enjoyed morning jogs and leisurely evening strolls on the nearby paved paths. Waling distance to the grocery store and a quick 10 minute drive to Hanalei beach made the location perfect.

Dream vacation.

This past August my wife and I took my mother on her dream vacation to Hawaii. We stayed in condo 27A at Nihilani at Princeville. This condo is beautiful. It has everything from a kitchen with everything to an flat screen HDTV, perfect for watching the movies you recorded that day. It is very clean and spacious and Princeville is the perfect place to have your home base when you are staying on Kauai. This condo was the perfect place to come back and relax after a day of site seeing or playing on the beach. There are several beaches close by and great jogging/walking paths. Our only regret is having to leave. If you are thinking about renting a place in Kauai, this is the one.

Awesome

My wife and I, along with another couple, stayed from January 13 until January 20 of 2010. From the time we made the reservations, the owners, Mr and Mrs Hencier and the management company, especially Kristen, made the whole process extremely easy. When we arrived at the condo, although the pictures look great, we couldn't believe how nice it was. There was a welcolme basket for us, which was a really nice touch. The condo has everything, including a very well appointed kitchen with very high end appliances that made cooking a few meals there great. The pool, spa and bbq area are like a higher end resort. Although it isn't right on the water, it is very conviently located. Princeville is a great area for anything you would want to do in Kauai. Beaches are within walking distance and all the things you expect on the mainland are close by. If you are planning a trip to Kauai, I would highly recommend unit 26a at Nihilani condos. It is perfect for 2 or 3 couples or for a family. There is plenty of space for everyone.

Pretty much perfect

I am very reluctant to write this review. I feel like this place is a hidden gem, and don't want anyone else to find out about it so that I can rent it again for our next visit to Kauai :) The townhouse is large, clean, very nicely decorated, comfortable and well-stocked. The beds are comfortable, and the AC works well. Kristen at alohacondos pretty much thinks of everything you could need. Speaking of Kristen, the manager, she was very easy to work with, easy to get a hold of, and very accomodating. The townhouse community is in a good location. Close to all the beautiful north shore sights and beaches, without being TOO far north. It IS a bit of a drive to get down to the south shore and kapaa/lihue etc, but you get used to the driving. The grounds of the community are very pretty. The pool was a great spot to hang out when we couldn't swim in the river run-off water after huge rains ("brownwater"). The only small negative of this rental that I can think of is that a couple of the rooms are a little dark (family/living room and master bedroom). I think it's because the bulbs are low-watt florescents, and I can understand the desire to conserve energy and keep electricity costs down. Other than that, the place is perfect and I would definitely stay here again!
