Lovely place to stay

This was our third time coming to Pam and Phil's lovely condo. They have thought of everything and have equipped the condo with anything you might want. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and just gorgeous views from both lanais. You can stay... more close to the condo, enjoying the pool and hot tub, or walk to the beach, or walk just a tiny bit further to the beach which has excellent snorkeling. There's also a shopping center close by with everything you need including a grocery store and several restaurants as well as a movie theater. We also enjoy heading into Kailua for the breweries, restaurants, and shops. Or you can venture out and explore the Island, there are lots of recommendations of things to do at the condo and if you haven't gone to see a volcano, you should! I recommend this condo as a wonderful base to explore the Big Island, or as a place to just go and relax in the lovely Hawaiian breezes. less

Beautiful townhome and sublime view

This was by far the best appointed vacation rental we have booked. From The kitchen to the patio to the amazing amount of beach and pool gear in the garage, we lacked for nothing. The sunsets are spectacular! You can also see the sunrise above the mountains from the backyard. Inside, you will be greeted by refreshing air conditioning plus a powerful fan in each room. Comfy couches, lounge chairs, super cozy beds and fluffy linens await you! Above and beyond the generous welcome basket, there are many amenities at your disposal in the kitchen, bathrooms and linen closet. For outside adventures at the many gorgeous beaches, in the garage you have beach chairs, beach bags, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, swim noodles and more! Amazing vacation!!

Pam’s home in Kona was the perfect place for our family of 5! The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed and there was plenty of seating. Our kids (3, 5, and 7 yrs old) loved the pool and we went swimming every day. The complex... more has a shallow, heated section for younger kids too! We loved that the unit had its own grill, as opposed to communal grills found at other complexes. There’s plenty of spare linen and towels, plus a pack-and-play and high chair for little ones (we didn’t need these, but awesome for families with younger kids). The beds are all very comfortable, and the king in the master bedroom is the only bed my husband has enjoyed in our travels- he has a bad back and never woke up sore during our stay. The view of the ocean from the lanai is the perfect place to have coffee in the morning or watch the sunset. There is beach access within walking distance from the unit that my kids enjoyed walking on (not the softest sand, but has some cool tide pools!). I can’t say enough good things about this home and we will definitely stay there again! Thank you Pam!! less

Family holiday

Pam’s townhouse is absolutely perfect. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare delicious meals. We sat on the patio table for our meals, looking at the ocean, sunrises and sunsets. All Needs Met!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Pam & hubby's amazing condo. I join all previous visitors in thanking Pam for stocking her home with literally everything that might be needed while vacationing on the island. We were 2 couples in our 50s and took advantage... more of the well stocked kitchen as well as the gas grill. We appreciated the multiple sized coolers/bags, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, snorkel gear, washer/dryer. There were also incidentals such as sunscreen and aloe vera gel at the condo along with miscellaneous personal care items. The entire experience beginning with the drive into the condo complex which is beautiful and nicely landscaped. That sets the stage for the first walk in to a tastefully furnished living room/dining room area with a wonderful welcome basket awaiting! The beds were comfortable and the closeness of the ocean allowed for beautiful sounds of waves when sleeping with the bedroom sliding doors open (2 of the 3 bedrooms are ocean views). Pam's suggestions included in the Home binder were great and there is also a copy of a travel guide book on the book shelves under the TV that provides more information. The pool is not crowded in the evenings and the jacuzzi is large enough to allow for several groups to enjoy it at once. Pam is very responsive and easy to contact. I would love to return to her Hawaiian home oasis. Thank you so very much for helping to make our first trip to Hawaii so memorable. less

Excellent entry instructions along with well thought out timing of emails made me feel very confident about my accommodations at Na Hale O Keauhou. Unit was very clean and stocked well beyond other units I have rented there. I had a wasp sting up in... more Hawi and in the closet was a first aid selection that included cortisone and alcohol wipes. Beach amenities were awesome with soft coolers, quality beach chairs and umbrellas. No more BBQ at the pool, but don’t worry there was a nice Weber unit that was clean and ready to go. Amazing Kona Condo

Pam's condo is the perfect spot for families that are visiting the Big Island. Best Vacation

Na Hale condos were recommended to me by a co-worker. After reviewing all the units available I picked M-4 due to the great reviews and location within the unit. I wanted a unit that was nestled within the complex. This place was huge, and the... more complimentary fruit basket was a lovely touch. When sitting on the lanai to view sunsets at night there were not any obstructions. Certainly a plus. This unit had all types of extra amenities. We had beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, reef shoes and coolers to borrow, ice packs are in freezer. I have stayed in many time shares and was prepared by bringing my own laundry detergent but the place even had that. There were some condiments left over in the refrigerator, so I would hold off and check what’s there before going to grocery store. The rooms were spacious, our kids 17 yo and 10 yo loved the place. A few restaurants, grocery store, Long Drugs and movie theater are all a 9 minute walk uphill. The swimming pool was lovely and warm. I found myself taking my youngest at 7am for a quick dip. Without a doubt I would come back to this same unit. We have nothing but great memories. Mahalo!! less

Crazy Golf Tour

This tour is our annual event mostly end of June and early July by crazy golfers playing everyday, sometimes 2 games a day. Very nice condo

This condo was great--has everything you need and more. Things like the indoor drying racks in the garage were great! Plenty of beach stuff for everyone also. Beds and linens were comfortable. The owner was very helpful with any questions I had. There were a... more couple things I would like to see changed. There is so much stuff in the kitchen there is no place to put groceries. All cupboard space was taken and since we were there for a month it was a bit of an inconvenience to put all the extra dishes elsewhere. Also it seems that items like laundry soap, toilet paper, kleenex etc.. should be provided (we have stayed in 5 other Nahale condos and the basics were always provided). Also there is place no to work on a computer ---no desk or extra little table I could use. I bought some cheapy little thing at Walmart and that worked. I would stay here again and would recommend this condo to anyone wanting to stay in Keauhou !! less

Perfect vacation accomodations

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this wonderful condo. The complex itself is in a great location. It is peaceful, quiet, family-friendly, and very well maintained. Nice holiday condo for big family

Generally speaking, it’s a great place. It’s got everything to make the holiday a memorable one. BBQ and great outdoor eating facility, with perfect view of the sunset everyday. Aircon (although its additional cost per day), beach gear, and baby portable cot and high chair... more which was extremely helpful for us. The place was really clean with beautiful Hawaiian interior. The location is 15min drove to the center where you have number of choices to eat out. The only downside was we had toilet flooding on both first floor and second floor. And the aircon on the master bedroom is weaker than the other rooms so we had to adjust the other room’s vent. But these were minor trouble, and everything else worked fine and facilities were great, so we recommend this place! less

Amazing Accommodations!!

The moment we walked in we knew we were going to love this place...the view of the ocean was breathtaking! The kitchen had everything we could have asked for and very spacious. We used the deck everyday and it was one of our daily highlights... more to watch the sunset and get a lot of beautiful pictures with our family. The master bedroom and bathroom was absolutely incredible...it was liking being in a luxurious spa. The beds were comfortable. And the garage was full of absolutely everything you could need for your daily beach visits. Quality cooler, beach chairs and umbrellas. The kids (& adults) loved using the snorkel gear...and there was even water shoes available! Especially appreciated the close proximity to everything...the beach, the plaza mall etc. I also appreciated Pamela's (owner's) quick responses to our questions when we were concerned about the volcano and hurricanes going through. She was very helpful! I would not hesitate to recommend this condo...especially this Unit M-4 to anyone...and we definitely will be coming back. less

Hawaii at its finest

We honestly cannot begin to explain how amazing our stay was here. The condo was very comfortable for our family of 5. The location was perfect for running into downtown Kona and very easy to walk to the shoreline. There is a grocery store wirhin... more walking distance. Terrific!

This was our first trip to the big island...our son, dtr-in-law, 5 and 8 y.o. grandchildren joined us. Townhome M-4 had ample space and seating for all of us! The furnishings are well appointed and the condo was very clean; the kitchen was well-equipped with... more many cooking utensils, cookware, etc. It was great that there were some spices and various staples available in the cupboard and fridge. Everything was in good working order: AC,fans, washer/dryer, dishwasher. The kids loved the pool which they used daily (as did the rest of us). The garage was fully furnished with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, sand toys, extra folding chairs for the lanai - we took full advantage of it all! (our grandson used a boogie board for the first time and had a blast!!). The property itself is beautiful, well maintained and manicured. It is conveniently located within walking distance to the Keauhou shopping center. On Saturday, we purchased all the food for that night's dinner at the farmers market held there. The shrimp we grilled was by far the BEST any of us had ever eaten! My only regret was that we didn't get the seller's information as to where we could have purchased more fresh seafood during our stay. less

The pantry essentials, such as spices, some oils, sugar, condiments, were a much appreciated extra. Great view

This condo has a front row location which gives it great views of the water down below. It comes very well equipped including all the necessary beach gear. (Many chairs and several umbrellas). We were also happy to have comfortable beds.....this is a pet peeve... more of mine as so many condos we have rented in past years always seem to have uncomfortable beds....thanks to the owners for considering that. We enjoyed the location but a car is a must as most activities and amenities are a drive away. The Perfect Place

This was, by far, the nicest place that I have ever stayed on any of the islands! Beautifully maintained and decorated. Fully loaded with lots of fun stuff like boogie boards, beach chairs and even some beach bags. Very comfortable beds. Stunning views from the... more lanai. The complex has a very nicely maintained workout room and a beautiful pool. Great location which is walking distance from the local KTA and nice restaurants. From the house, it's easy to get to town and snorkeling sites. We found a great snorkel tour company, Sea Quest, just down the road in Keauhou Bay. Wonderful Condo

This is our third time at this beautiful Condo - and we were every bit as impressed this time as the previous times. The condo is very comfortable, well equipped, and is within walking distance to many great activities, including snorkeling, kayaking, yoga and two... more farmers' markets. Beach chairs (Tommy Bahama), umbrellas, coolers and snorkel equipment are also available. The shopping centre right up the hill provides easy access for all your grocery needs. This condo is very quiet and has one of the best ocean views in the complex, and a great place to watch the amazing Hawaiian sunsets. Pam is great to deal with - she made sure that every detail was taken care of for our stay. We will certainly book this wonderful condo the next time we return to this beautiful island paradise. less

Townhome M-4, 9/14/16 to 9/21/16

Being built in 2006, we expected a nice condo, but got a very nice condo. It was spacious, clean, nice views, cool(air worked well), comfortable, had plenty of cups, glasses, dishes, kitchen items and was well stocked with recent condiments that we would have needed... more to buy. The only minor negative comment was that the upstairs bathroom fan was noisy. It was reasonably priced for us 2 couples, especially with 3 bedrooms. We would definitely stay there again, if and when we go back to the Big Island. less

Beautiful Place

NaHaleO is a beautiful, well maintained, quiet complex. We have stayed there many times and this condo has everything for a wonderful stay. This unit is clean and well furnished with comfortable beds. The liners on the sliding doors in this unit help a lot... more to keep the heat out and provide privacy at night. The luggage racks are much appreciated for unpacking and re-packing suitcases. Sitting on the lanai watching the sunset and listening to the birds was so relaxing. Wonderful Stay!

Our family of 4 stayed here in October 2015. The condo was amazing. There were lots of extra amenities which came in handy such as spices in the kitchen, extra sun tan lotion, beach chairs, coolers, pool toys, hair dryers and beach towels. The condo... more was comfortably furnished and had lots of space. The beds were comfy as well and the a/c in the unit kept the condo cool. We ate breakfast out on the lanai every morning. We used the pool every day- the temperature was perfect and the hot tub was awesome as well. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this condo to anyone thinking of staying on the big island. It is in a great location- at the end of Alli Drive. M-4 is by far the nicest condo we have ever experienced, tastefully furnished and finished.

We stayed here for a month two years ago. This time for 22 days, have to leave tomorrow, bummer. Really love it here. Na Hale O' Keauhou (The House of New Beginnings). We are in unit M-4, alone now, but earlier, kids and grandkids were... more with us, we also had K-2 since there were 11 of us for a bit. Tripadvisor didn't list this unit then. We have been to the Hawaiian Islands dozens of times over the last 45 years, most of the time renting condos. M-4 is by far the nicest condo we have ever experienced, tastefully furnished and finished. What amazed us when we first entered on the ground floor was the huge living room area (approx. 570 sq. ft) which includes a dining area and a family room area. Also downstairs is a large fully equipped kitchen. A half bath is downstairs as well. The living room has sliding glass doors opening onto a tiled lanai. Magnificent panoramic views of the ocean from either of two lanais (The living room lanai is almost 200 sq.ft, we enjoyed many a dinner and sunset at the nice table and seating there). Upstairs are two full baths and three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a very large walk in closet with a huge connected bathroom, two sinks, walk in shower (separate from tub), and a tub. You enter the bedrooms from a large vestibule which includes a linen closet and washer and dryer alcove. Two bedrooms have sliding glass doors which open onto the long second story lanai equipped with chairs, a little table and lounge chair. Off the downstairs is a single car garage (owners allow guests to use the garage but not for vehicles, for recreational equipment, drying racks, etc.) M-4 is about as quiet/private a condo as one well find. Three big flat screen cable TVs, free HS Internet, DVD, lanai BBQ grill, etc. The entire Na Hale O' Keauhou complex is situated so all units have a view of the ocean, some, like M-4, are super. Best sunset views you can imagine. It is not directly on the beach as the beach in front is mostly lava rock, but it is up the hill a ways so that it overlooks palm trees and the ocean. We discovered this trip a public access down to the beach directly in front, where there are secluded tidal pools and quite a stretch of flat beach like area, not really good for swimming but a place to take a lawn chair and watch the sun set and the surf roll in. Also turtles haul out there. It is on the Kona Coast not far from the Captain Cook monument. Ancient Hawaiian sacred grounds account for dozens of acres between the complex and the ocean, meaning no developments to mar the natural beauty, now or in the future. Matter of fact, about a mile to the northwest and on the beach is the old seven story Outrigger Hotel which will soon be demolished and the site turned into a Hawaiian cultural estate. So, even better for unrestricted views. Keauhou is a clean and safe neighborhood. One can stroll or run for miles while enjoying beautiful vistas. I do every morning. less

Perfect and they thought of everything!!

Let's start with the sunsets - the first night we were shooting photos as if it was our last night - AMAZING!! The condo is beautiful and is well taken care of - also as mentioned above the place was so well stocked from kitchen... more extras, to toiletries, to water toys, to an extra tank for the BBQ - did I mention the BBQ? This was the Cadillac of BBQ's!! Every dinner we ate outside on the patio and was done to perfection on that grill!! The condo is a two minute walk from the pool where my 8yr old son and I had tons of fun!! It is also a 5 min walk from a shopping center which was very convenient. Also about a 10 min walk to a nice snorkeling beach. Travelling with the in-laws who are in their 80's and our son it was nice having all 3 bedrooms on the one floor - the beds were all great - the master bedroom bed was gigantic!!! The master bedroom shower was also huge!! Everyday the temperature went up to about 27C and down to 19C - the condo cooled down wonderfully - no need for air conditioning. Also one last shout out to Tom who was amazing as he picked up some much needed provisions for when we arrived (we arrived quite late). Overall the condo provided everything a group of 5 of us could want - would recommend to anyone wanting a flawless holiday!! less

Perfect accommodation in a great location

My husband and I spent 9 nights staying in the beautiful M4 town home at Na Hale O Keauhou. It was not long enough! The town home is immaculately furnished and spotlessly clean. Everything you could think of is provided for your use, both in... more the kitchen, where you could cook a five course dinner should you wish to, down to the beach chairs, snorkel equipment, boogie boards, sand toys and coolers etc in the garage should you wish to spend a day at the beach. With flat screen tv's in the living area and bedrooms as well as free wifi and docking station for your music, absolutely everything has been thought of to truly make this a home from home. Oh and did I forget to say about the beautiful views from both Lanais (upstairs and downstairs) that look over to the ocean where, if you are lucky enough, you can spot humpback whales. The owners Pamela and Phil where wonderful to deal with and were very considerate to our needs. We felt very comfortable in our communications with Pamela. The location itself is also ideal in our opinion, with easy access down into Keauhou Bay from the main road coming from the airport. It is far enough away from the busy end of Aliii drive, but close enough to the Keauhou Bay shopping centre to be able to walk (although fairly steep uphill) to supermarket, bank, pharmacy, cinema, several restarants and the Kona Trolley bus and other bus transport that can take you out and about to other areas. The complex is extremely well maintained with beautifully manicured grounds a nice swimming pool and jacuzzi tub and fully equipped gym should you feel energetic. All in all a 5 star experience and certainly one that we would definitely consider for any future visits to the Big Island. Mahalo Plenty !! less

Awesome family condo; a must reuse!

This condo is in the perfect location. It is set up with all the necessities too. We have stayed at the Na Hale O Keauhou twice, but this was our first visit to this unit. The owners have taken very careful consideration to provide almost everything extra you may need; coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, pool toys, not to mention all the condiments, spices, paper products, etc.. The 3 bedrooms are super comfortable and spacious. The living room was fantastic. The two leather chairs were super comfy! The tv is big and has a DVD player. great vacation!

we just returned from a great vacation in Kona. Unit M4 was great! We loved the location within the complex, it was close to the pool, but felt very private when inside the unit. The unit's floor plan is really nice, the lower level was... more open and great for entertaining. All of the bedrooms are upstairs with great views of the ocean from the master and queen bedroom patios. Absolute Bliss

We stayed at Na Hale M4 for 2 months in January and February of 2014. My husband and I were so surprised to see a fully stocked kitchen with all the condiments and spices ready to go. Awesome Condo

I have been to Kona for the Ironman World Championships for the last 8 years and finding a nice place to stay has always been a challenge because most of the condo's and resorts are older and very dated. A Beautiful and Quiet Rental With a Wonderful View !!

We were looking for a nice, secure, quiet rental with a pool for our 4 year old daughter to play in. The M-4 unit met all of our family needs! So here is our breakdown: pros - nice newer furniture, comfortable beds, fast reliable internet... more access, a great pool, great kitchen amenities, close to KTa grocery store, quiet and relaxing, wonderful ocean view. Cons - loud washer/dryer, pull-chain adjustments on ceiling fans were awkward and didn't seem to work at times. Also, a single car garage (owners allow guests to use the garage but not for vehicles). M-4 is about as quiet/private a condo as one well find. Panoramic views of the ocean from either of the two lanais (The living room lanai is almost 200 sq.ft). Two bedrooms have access to one large lanai on the second floor. Best townhome in the community

The photos do no justice to this townhome. We were welcomed with a basket of ripe local fruits, biscuits and chocolates by the property manager and he filled us in on anything we might need to know, plus his contact numbers. The townhome overlooks a... more garden and a park strip, on a high promontory well above the resort below & across the street - and the ocean is just beyond. The view from the ground floor lanai is edge-to-edge ocean and palm trees. We watched many sunsets and had the rare privilege of experiencing the legendary 'green flash' one evening. The townhome is complete - just add food. There were so many extras, we had little to do but unpack our bags, pull on our bathing suits and go for a swim. Kona is paradise! The townhome is in easy walking distance of the Keahou Shopping Center, which has all the basic services and includes a theater and Thai restaurant. Kahalu'u Beach Park is a scant 15 minute walk away and is a safe and spectacular beach to experience snorkelling - so many species of fish and even some sea turtles (try to not touch - they're wild creatures). The 3 bedrooms are clean & bright - 2 access the upstairs lanai which has even more spectacular views than the main floor. The kitchen is spacious, well-maintained, clean and complete. The 2 1/2 bathrooms are clean and bright. The master bathroom has a big shower and jacuzzi tub in the ensuite, and a walk-in closet. The only limitation I can speak of - the king bed in the master bedroom is lumpy and hard. All other beds were very comfortable - a queen in the 2nd bedroom and 2 single beds in the 3rd bedroom. I would stay in this townhome again - in a heartbeat. It's lovely,and it's in the middle of paradise - the vacation was magic and this home is part of that. less

Feels Like Home!

This townhouse is beautifully decorated and the location is incredible. The unit is large and spacious and it feels like home. We have family in Kona and I was able to host a 12 person sit down dinner without a hitch. Everything needed for cooking... more and entertaining a group this large was there. Our group of 5 found everything in the M-4 townhouse that we needed to live comfortably during our time there. When we went to the beach the towels, chairs, ice chest and beach toys were found in the garage. This place is quite and the sunsets on the Lanai are just beautiful. I have no hesitation recommending a stay in the M-4 townhouse and I hope to return here again myself someday. Beautiful new townhome!

M-4 was the best location at Na Hale O Keauhou! It was large, private, well decorated and had a nice private lanai with a bbq. A home in Paradise

From the start, booking this condo was easy and I felt welcome and confident that everything was being looked after. We were amazed at how beautiful, spacious, and inviting the condo was. Close to the heart of Kona; the beaches, shops, running trails, golf course and restaurants yet removed and quiet. Peaceful retreat in the middle of town.

Location of this condo allows easy access to downtown eating/shopping as well as quick to get to main road Queen K. for travel around the rest of the island.
