Vacationing On Kauai

If you have always wanted to visit the Hawaiian Islands, one island you should consider is Kauai. This island is small, but offers many of the same activities as the Big Island of Hawaii and Honolulu without catering to as many tourists. If you are interested in surfing, deep sea fishing, and hiking or camping, there are many opportunities for you to participate in these activities.

Because the island sees fewer tourists than some of the other islands, you will also have more choices when it comes to condo rentals. A Kauai vacation rental is a full furnished condo with kitchen, dining area, bedrooms, and a balcony or terrace.

While staying in a hotel may save you some money, a condo rental is much more comfortable, especially if you are planning to spend a week or more on the island. Many people enjoy taking an extended vacation and want to find a place that is comfortable and safe.

The island of Kauai is very close to other Hawaiian including Honolulu, which means you can visit another island for the day and return to Kauai in the evening. There are many helicopter and small airplane services that can shuttle you to and from other islands.

While visiting other islands, you should sample some of their famous cuisine. Each island offers different foods, so try them all so you can experience the very best that Hawaii has to offer. Once you visit Kauai, you will want to return again and again.
